Hello, hello, helloooooooo my loyal Ariadites! It's been a while...way too long actually, sorry! I have no one but myself to blame :( I've just been having a tough time establishing a balance between school, work, and my hobbies which include sewing, volunteering at my local hospital and dancing like no one is watching...and possible, just once seeing 5 Seconds of Summer and One Direction, live, in concert...ohmygawd I almost peed myself when Michael did a 360 while playing the guitar...and I almost passed out when Harry spit water two people away from me...but in a bad way...it made me a bit queasy but...ya know, if you're in to that, more power to you! Me? I'm a bit of a germaphobe

Recap:

The girls began to dig in but looked at me questioningly. Shifting my eyes around awkwardly, I finally admit, "I'm a vegan" and glanced pointedly at the Chinese Food.

"You should have told us!" Ann exclaimed.

"I am so sorry Rachel." Jen said.

"It's ok! After the interview I'll make a veggie burger!" Glancing at the TV I realized that thee interview was back on. "Shh, girls, it's on!"

"Well Louis, we have quite the surprise for you." Ryan Seacrest began.

"Yeah? What is it?!" at Louis' demand the audience and the rest of the boys began to chuckle.

"Well, we heard you were feeling a bit homesick so..."

Jumping out from behind the curtain a girl yelled "SURPRISE!" and ran up to Louis, squeezing the life out of him. As the girl continues to hug him, Louis' eyes went wide and the color drained from his face.

"And there you have it folks, Elounor reunited once more! Tune in next week for-"

Turning my head to the left I saw Miley holding the remote out in front of her with her thumb over the power button.

"Are you sure you don't want any of us to stay the night Rachel?" Ann asked as her, Miley and Jennifer stood at my door way.

"Really, it's no problem," Jennifer exclaimed.

"It's alright girls, I really just want to be alone right now, but I'll call you soon."

At my words Ann and Jennifer turned around, heading to their respective cars, and Miley stared into my eyes.

"I can make her go away you know."

Blinking at her words, I ask her, "What?"

"Eleanor, I can make her disappear. I have my ways. I just gotta call up Don Michael, and BOOM, in three days it will be like Eleanor never existed." As she finished speaking Miley smirked to let me know she was just joking, I think.

Letting out a small giggle, I reply, "Goodnight Miley."

"Night Rae. I'll talk to you soon"

I shut the door once I saw Miley reverse out of the driveway and headed into the living room.

I grabbed the bottle that Jennifer left underneath the coffee table, and basically started chugging down the straight Whiskey. One shot after another, after another till I found myself on my balcony wondering why no one genuinely wanted me.

Suddenly the world around me started spinning. My heart beat was hammering against my chest.

Next thing I knew, I was falling, falling, falling and then, I was surrounded by total darkness after hearing somebody tell my name one last time.

Blinking my eyes open, I turned to my alarm clock and saw that it was 3:41 in the morning. I left my bedroom to get a glass of water only to stop when I saw a boy sitting in my living room looking like someone shot their puppy in front of their eyes.

Walking up to him, I whispered his name wondering what he was doing here since there was no doubt in my mind that he had to have known I watched his interview by this point, "Louis?"

Jumping in shock he looked at me and whispered back, "Rachel?"

I took the seat directly across from him, knowing the conversation we were going to have was going to be a long one.

"Louis, what are you doing here?"

"I wanted to stop by after the interview. There's some things I need to explain-"

Laughing humorlessly I interrupted, "Oh, you mean like the fact that you have a girlfriend and led me to believe you actually had feelings for me?"

"Well, yeah. But it's not what it looks-"

"Dear God Louis, how is it not what it looks like?! You've had a girlfriend this entire time and still, you took me out on a date! You told me I was special! That you'd continue to make me feel like the only girl in the world! How could this possibly not be what it looks like?!"

"If you would just listen.."

As he spoke those 5 words I got up and made my way to the front door, "I think you should leave."

"No, listen Rachel, just listen to me."

"Get out!"

"Listen!" And, with wide eyes, I did. "Just close the door, and please, have a seat." Once again, I sat across from him. "Eleanor and I-that's not-we're not- We're not together."

"But in the interview-"

"Yes, the world sees us as a couple. But, it's just a publicity stunt. At one point the Larry Stylinson rumors were getting out of hand. My family was starting to question my sexuality! And so, we came up with Elounor."

"So you and Eleanor, you're not-"

"Nor were we ever."

Accepting his words I had one last question, "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I thought it'd be a lot for a first date. I didn't know she was flying out. The boys didn't even know she was being flown out, they would've told me."

I nodded at his words.

We sat in silence for what felt like hours, but was probably only a few seconds.

"Are we okay?" Louis asked.

Smiling, I answered, "Of course. Just, no more secrets, at least like this, deal?"

He also smiled as he said, "Deal." Louis glanced at the cable box and noticed it was almost 4:30. "I should go..." He stood up and gave me a hug, then began walking to the door.

"Louis?" I said as he reached the door. As he turned around I ignored the butterflies in my stomach and continued, "You could stay the night, if you'd like. It's really late."

If Louis was surprised by my words, he did a great job of hiding it. "Oh, uhm, yeah that'd be great." Louis went back to the couch and began to make himself comfortable.

"You can sleep with me, in my bed, just sleep" I added on as I noticed his smirk, "if you wanted to, that is." Not waiting for him to reply, I walked back to my room, foregoing the water I woke up to get in the first place, and went back to the left side of the bed. A few moments later Louis took the right side and wrapped his arm around me, becoming the big spoon to my little spoon.

Hours later I woke up to someone shrieking my name.

"Rachel?! Why is there a boy in your house? In your room? Oh my god! In your bed?!"

Sitting up as quickly as possible I let her name pass through my lips in surprise, "Shelby?"

Shaking her head, as if to clear it Shelby replied, "I'll just be in the living room," then walked backwards out the door, still not believing her eyes.

I was startled to feel the bed shaking as Louis began laughing. Right...forgot he was here.

"Maybe I should meet all your siblings like that."

"Siblings? You think Shelby is my sister?"

"I mean...you guys look way to a like to just be friends, so, what other explanation is there?"

"Try mother."

"Hmm?"

"Shelby is my mother."

"But you call her-"

"It's complicated, and is something I think I'll reserve for the fifth or sixth date."

"So there'll be a sixth date?"

Smiling at his question I replied, "If you behave." Then winked at him and got out of bed.

"I'll go and leave you to deal with-"

"Oh gee, thanks."

He smiled and said, "No problem."

I walked him out and turned my head as he went to kiss my cheek, so he can kiss my lips.

"My, my, Rachel, I've taught you well." And as he left I shook my head, smiling, and closed the door.

I leaned against the closed door, inside of my apartment as I began to wonder what the future will bring. But first...

"Something you want to tell me Rachel?"

Shelby.
