Warning: Smut ahead
Petra climbed up the stone steps, and back into the mansion. Erwin watched her closely, following her down into the servants quarter. She knocked on one of the doors, and heard a soft "come in."
She entered the darkened room, finding Eren in his room. After watching Levi leave, Eren had run down to his room, afraid he would be caught up in the turret. Down in his room, he felt safe.
"Hey Eren, how are you doing?" Petra asked softly.
"I'm fine," he sniffled.
"Really?" Petra prodded.
"I'll be okay," Eren shrugged.
"Oh honey, it'll be alright," Petra said wrapping her arms around the younger boy.
Eren looked down at his hands. "I just wish he had the courage to say goodbye. Instead he just left...and after what he did? I just thought he would..."
Petra kissed Eren's temple. "I know love. But here. He left this for you."
Petra passed Eren the envelope.
"He wrote me a letter?" Eren asked, brushing his bangs away from his face.
Petra smiled. "He did. I'll leave you to read this in privacy."
Petra rose, and left the room. Erwin hid in the shadows.
Just as Eren began to open the letter, the bell down the hall rung for him. Eren sighed, leaving the letter on his pillow, and made his way to the kitchens.
Erwin took his chance, and slipped into Eren's bedroom after the maid had left. He easily found the letter, and carefully opened it. His eyes narrowed as he began to read the letter.
My dearest Eren,
I know you feel that I have betrayed you by leaving you...but that's not what I did. We're at war. Our country has been at war for years, and this is our chance to end it. I don't want to see anymore children sent off to die. Our country's economy is failing, because of this war...and if I can end it, I will. So I'm sorry for leaving you behind.
As for what happened the other night at Hitch's party. I should never have taken you. That was the biggest mistake I have made in years. I regret what I put you through at that horrible woman's house. Leaving you alone with her was an asinine move on my part. I know this letter won't even begin to make it up to you. I owe you so many more apologies, and when I return. I will give them to you.
Eren. You've stolen my heart. I never asked you to do so, but then you were never very good at following instructions. I just hope your heart hasn't already closed to me.
With Much Affection: Levi Rivaille
Erwin's jaw tightened as he crumpled the letter and stuffed it into his pocket. He stormed out of the room, fuming with each step. After all he had done for that little shit, and Levi still chose Eren over him. He slammed the door of his suite, making sure to lock it. His boots tread across the old wooden floor as he made his way over to the telephone.
"Shadis, here," a gravelly voice on the other line replied.
"How long is Mikasa Ackerman on leave for," asked Erwin. "This is Erwin Smith, Commander and Chief of the army."
"Ah, Commander. I believe she has another week," Shadis replied.
"Call her now. Tell her to return, now. Make up any lie necessary. That is an order. Am I clear?" Erwin asked through clenched teeth.
"Certainly sir. I'll have my secretary call her tonight." Shadis said.
Erwin gave an oily grin. "Perfect."
He hung up the phone, and sat down at the desk. He put his boots up on his desk, and sat seething in the dark. Now if only he could find away to get rid of Jaeger.
Hours later there was a knock at the door.
"Commander Erwin, sir? Dinner is served," a soft voice from the other side of the door said.
Erwin rose, and made his way downstairs. He was led to the dining room where only one place was set.
"Where is Mike?" asked Erwin.
"He decided to decline dinner, and go for a walk," said the footman in the corner.
"And Mikasa?"
"She declined having dinner down here," said another footman.
"I believe she is on the phone right now," confessed the first.
Erwin smirked. "Very good. More Cabernet."
Erwin enjoyed the silent meal, only interrupted with the chink of his utensils. He was glad for the silence, as it let him mull over his plan to get rid of Jaeger. By the end of the meal, he had developed a plan, and couldn't help but grin.
After supper Erwin found Mike in the library. The other man was paging through one of the ancient books Levi kept around the place.
"I think, old friend, that your vacation has come to an end," Erwin said softly.
Mike looked Erwin up and down, and nodded. "If that is what you think is best."
"Can you leave by tomorrow?"
Mike nodded.
Erwin smiled. "Very good. You shall have to hold down the war campaign. Good luck, my friend."
Mike saluted, before leaving the library. As he was leaving, Mikasa entered.
"You bastard."
"What?" Erwin turned, the grin slipping from his facade.
"I know what you're trying to do, and you won't get away with it," there was a fire in Mikasa's eyes, that would have scared anyone, but Erwin.
He held his ground. "I haven't the foggiest about what you're blathering on about."
Mikasa glared up at him. "If you even so much as lay a finger on-"
"What? You are a member of my military. I can send you to the war front, just like that," Erwin said snapping his fingers.
Mikasa straightened up. "Don't think we're done, Commander."
Erwin smirked. "There isn't much you can do to protect you're brother once you're at the Academy."
"I swear to god," started Mikasa.
"Tut, tut. If you don't hurry, little Miss Mikasa will miss her train. I hear Shadis doesn't tolerate tardiness."
Mikasa just huffed, before turning to go. Erwin was king of the world, a feeling of victory surging through his veins. It felt the same as opium making it's way to his heart, or cocaine. He hadn't had the stuff in years, not since he had been Levi's pet...god he missed those days. How he hungered for the drugs. For the feeling of Levi's skin against his own, and to hear Levi scream his name. Erwin knew those days would soon return, and he would be Levi's personal whore once again.
"Commander Smith?"
Erwin turned. Standing at the door was the redheaded maid that had replaced him. Her voice was cold, and her eyes steely.
"Are you meant to be my dessert, Petra?" Erwin's tone matched hers. "Because I don't appreciate you coming to disrupt me."
"I have orders from Levi that you leave here at once. I know that Mikasa and Mike already have plans to leave, but it is the master's desire that you leave as well," Petra said glaring at the man.
Erwin rose from his seat, and made his way over to the short maid. He towered over the young woman, glaring at her. "Is that so?"
Petra bit her trembling lip and nodded. "He wants you out of this house immediately."
"And what if I chose not to leave? Is there anything you can do about that, girlie?" Erwin grabbed a hold of her thin wrists, causing her to try and pull away.
"That hurts," she exclaimed.
He only tightened his grip.
"Why you insolent bastard," Petra bristled.
"What rights do you have to talk to me like that? I am your superior," Erwin hissed. Again he tightened his hold on her, feeling the bones beneath her skin. With his free hand he slapped Petra, causing her hand to fly up to her face.
"Rivaille says he wants you out," Petra's voice shook, but she held her ground.
"I don't do what little girls tell me to do," Erwin growled. Again he slapped her with the back of his hand, causing the maid to fall to the ground. He did nothing to try and catch her. "Get out. Your whiny voice is pissing me off."
Petra fled down to the safety of the kitchens. The other servants were finishing dinner, but when she entered all the chatter died down immediately. Everyones' eyes were on her.
"Sasha, a cold rag," Krista ordered.
"What happened?" asked Oulo.
Petra held the rag to her burning cheek. Her hair, which was usually up in a sleek bun, was falling about her face. Her eyes were wet, tears threatening to pour out. As she spoke her voice shook, "I tried to tell that asshole to get the fuck out of here, but he refused."
"He beat you?" asked Hanji, pushing her way to the front.
"Yeah. Damn him. I hope he goes to hell," Petra said.
Eren who was also near the front knelt down beside her. "How dare he. I could kill him!"
"Eren!" Petra called out.
But it was too late. The boy had run off to go find Erwin.
"Erwin's going to kill him," Hanji said bleakly.
"And with Mikasa gone, who's going to stop him," Krista mumbled.
"Oh god," Petra's eyes widened. "Somebody has to stop them!"
Eren found Erwin still in the library.
"You sick bastard," he screamed. "How dare you hurt Petra! What has she done to ever hurt you?"
Erwin turned lazily. "Oh hello Eren. Funny, I was hoping to have a little chat with you."
Eren stopped. "What do you mean?"
"Sit down," Erwin said coolly.
Confused, Eren sat down in a chair facing the blond.
"I want you to leave this house, and never come back. Do you understand?" Erwin asked.
"What? How will I make money?"
"I'm sure a little slut like you could find work in a big city like this," Erwin said darkly.
"No. I'm not leaving." Eren said sitting up straighter.
"I thought you might say that," Erwin said boredly. "So that's why I have a little proposition for you. If you chose to stay, I will ensure that Mikasa is sent to the front lines of the war. I will admit that she posses a lot of talent, and could probably last longer than most of the recruits. But I doubt she would survive more than a month. The enemy we're fighting is brutal. But if you leave now, and never return, your sister will remain at her precious Academy where she will be safe."
"You cur," Eren spat.
"Do we have a deal?" Erwin asked, holding out his hand.
Reluctantly, Eren shook it.
Erwin grinned. "Wonderful. You are to leave tonight. Tell anyone about this, and I will have Mikasa killed. Say goodbye to no one. Is that clear?"
"Clear as a bell," Eren said dully.
Erwin smiled. "I think you will find this city to be pretty interesting."
Eren nodded halfheartedly, and rose to leave. He returned to his room, and packed what few belongings he had brought with him. He hung his uniform in the closet. He was almost sorry to be leaving it behind. On a whim, he took the costume Petra had made for him for Hitch's party. He did not even want to think what he may be forced to use it for...but Erwin was right. He didn't have a lot of skills, and he would need the money.
Outside it was pouring rain. Eren drew his coat closer around him. He walked down the long drive, only stopping once to turn around and look at Ackerman Place. Even in the gloom, he could see lights in the windows. But for the most part it was dark. Through the cellar windows, he could see figures moving about. He knew that those were his friends, anxiously waiting for him to return...but he would never see them again. Silently he wished them all goodbye, specially thanking Petra and Krista. He would miss those two girls more than anyone else. A cool breeze blew up from the sea, chilling Eren to the bone. He continued on, knowing it was a long walk back into the nearest city. He wondered if he would ever see Rivaille Mansion again, but he doubted it. The estate was miles from here, halfway across the country. On that walk into town, Eren had never felt more alone.
It was late by the time he reached civilization. Nobody was out, but the whores hoping desperately to catch a few customers. It was only then Eren realized he had no money. Dejectedly, he found a darkened alley with a few overhangs which would keep him dry. He supposed this was the best he could do, and he curled down to sleep.
The next morning, Eren walked around town in search of a job. Unfortunately, the place was mostly a tourist trap, and no one was hiring. By noon he was starving, and still had no cash. He was forced to dig around in some alleys until he found something to eat. By night, he felt he had no other choice. He donned the maid's costume, and made his way to a dimly lit street corner.
It wasn't long before a young man approached him.
"Well, aren't you fine," he said clicking his tongue. "What are your prices?"
"I-I hadn't thought of that," Eren confessed.
The man brayed. "A newbie, eh? Don't worry I'll be gentle."
Reluctantly Eren followed the man into a seedy looking den that must have been his apartment. They made straight for the bedroom, and as soon as they were there the stranger began to kiss Eren's throat.
Eren let out a few shy moans, as his customer began to grope at his body.
"Come on now, chickadee. I bet you can be louder than that," clucked the man.
Eren did as the man asked, moaning as if he were really into it. The man laughed. "That's right."
Without much more, the stranger led Eren to the bed. He pushed Eren down, roughly unbuttoning his own pants. "Suck."
It was an easy enough order to follow. This man's cock was much shorter and fatter than Levi's, and Eren was easily able to take the whole thing into his mouth. That seemed to please the man, who moaned louder and louder the more Eren sucked.
"God, who taught you to suck dick," groaned the man.
He pulled away from Eren's mouth with an insidious smirk. "Time to see what you've got to offer, now isn't it chickadee. Off with that dress now."
Carefully Eren took off his costume, to reveal nothing underneath. This seemed to please the man even more. And without any preparation, the man drove his cock into Eren's asshole. Eren let out a horrible scream, as tears pooled in his eyes. The man behind him just laughed as he pulled in and out. Eren's ass was sore from his customer's roughness, and he had to do everything in his power to keep from sobbing. He could feel the man's grubby hands run up and down his ribcage, and there was nothing to stop him. Eren felt disgusting, as if every cell of skin needed to be scrubbed off.
"That's it chickadee!" moaned the man. "Such a greedy whore, just sucking in my dick, like a thirsty little boy. That's what you are, aren't you."
"Y-yes sir," panted Eren.
The man liked that, as he increased the speed of his thrusts. The friction was so unbearably painful as Eren's legs began to shake.
"Don't you dare collapse on me, you slut." Threatened the man currently abusing Eren's hole. "What kind of prostitute would that make you?"
Finally the man came in Eren. He could feel the cum leaking down his legs, and again he felt used.
"You were a good fuck, chickadee," the man sighed. "Here's your pay. Now get out, my wife will be home any minute."
Eren gathered his things, and took the money. It wasn't much, but it would be enough to buy him food and find a cheap hovel.
As Eren left the apartment he shivered. He felt so low and used. He wasn't sure if he would ever get used to the feeling.
