I saw the new Cinderella movie awhile and it was awesome! As in 'better than the original' awesome. The Frozen short... was ok and pretty cute. (I almost made a Frozen joke in the Snowpeak chapter, until common sense kicked me in the face.) And then I found out that, for the future Beauty and the Beast live action film, Josh Gad was chosen to play Lefou and I was all "YES!" Because when I first saw the Frozen trailer, Olaf sounded an awful lot like Lefou...
...Oh, whoops. Sorry.
ThePastReliesonMemories: And so it does... ugh.
I never thought of Ooccoo as a child... that would make a LOT of sense, considering how much danger she's probably putting Jr. into. Also, by glitch, do you mean the one where Link get's trapped in the room, and Shad keeps him from leaving? (that looked like a nightmare, the first time I saw a video on it.) And... uh... I can't answer THAT last part of your review just yet. It's going to pop up soon, but I can't answer it yet.
HeroAlexa249: It was a weird choice for a boss, but at least the fight was pretty memorable...and bonus points for a well thought out boss theme.
I think they could have been friends too, if Skull Kid was a little nicer or didn't insult Zant to begin with (Looks like he and Lexi are the fan favorites, at the moment, speaking of which.). I would have to agree that bullying can be really damaging to someone, if they don't have a loved one or a friend in their life. (especially if you do it without meaning too...). Of course, Zant became a villain for a different reason in the game, but still...
...And let's just say that when Zant finds out about what happened to those two, it's NOT going to be pretty.
Ayako Zetra: Lexi want's to say thank you for the help... anyway, thank you for that compliment on my drawing and for my comics. I'm glad you liked the spider bit: that almost became an outtake when I thought that it was too stupid to be 'canon.'
Tjfanfics99:... How would Zant react to Lana's dlc outfit? I'll save the male version for another time, but here's the female version-
-In some alternate version of Hyrule Warriors-
"So?" Lana cheerfully showed off her new and rather familiar looking outfit. "What do you think?"
"You look lovely!" Agitha cheered and clapped her hands together.
Zant stared.
Slowly, he turned to Skull Kid.
Skull Kid was giggling as he gave Lana a thumbs up... and his tongue was sticking out of his mouth, which made him look like a lustful cartoon character.
Zant turned back to Lana. "Honestly? My blood pressure is rising, I feel like you betrayed me... and I can't stop looking at your arms and legs."
-present-
Lexi: *takes a look at the wind waker* Wait: isn't this that thing that makes an invisible choir sing? Other than that... I don't have any relation to it, other then that we belong to the same element group. It's pretty though.
And so, we shall begin the chapter with an appropriate prologue:
-Some time ago...-
"Ah, finally finished burning up those charges." Lexi dusted her hands off. "It look a long time, but at least I had help from Ayako Zetra." She stretched her arms out when she noticed a package addressed to her. "Oh, and what's this?" She picked it up and read the letter. "To Lexi... from Tjfanfics99?" She opened it up to reveal-
"OH MY GOD!" She gasped. "IS THAT ME?! IS THAT ME IN FIERCE DEITY MODE?!" She squealed in delight at the picture which was placed in a lovely gold pleated picture frame. "TJFANFICS99 MADE IT UNDER Tj-the-deviant AT DEVIANT ART, AND IT'S JUST FOR ME!" She cuddled the frame to her chest. "THANK YOU TJFANFICS99!"
"Oh sure- you get the special treatment, while I get stuck to my laptop."
Lexi turned around to see a very angry HolyMaiden24 whose eyeball was twitching.
Oh, and she was handcuffed to a desk.
"I thought you told me to make sure you would get the chapters written out?" Lexi asked.
"I HATE THIS PART OF THE GAME!" Holymaiden24 cried out. "I hate how long it takes before you can get to the City in the Sky, I can't stand Ilia, I hate those statues, I hate City in the Sky, I already hate how much in-game dialogue I'm going to write- except for the Hidden Village part, since it's the only good part- SO I'M GOING TO HATE THESE CHAPTERS!"
"...Say." Lexi asked. "Didn't you say that if you start ranting and show signs of quitting, I could send those killer robot animals-
"NO!" The writer panicked.
"Ah well- you give me the power to do it." Lexi snickered as she left the room. "Now, if you excuse me, I need to go find Tjfanfics99 so I can thank I'm in person... and maybe even take him out for a date out on the battlefield."
"...Ughhhhhhhh." HolyMaiden24 let out a long groan. "Fine, but if I see one animatronic animal, I'm chopping it's head off."
Chapter 12: To restore memories
I had no clue where to look for an answer as to how to get to the sky. So, I decided to stop by Kakariko Village, in hopes for a clue. I thought that perhaps Renaldo might know someone, but when I entered the chapel, I found him with Ilia and two very familiar faces.
"Gor Coron?" I noticed the first Goron before noticing the much larger patriarch. "And-
"Ah!" Gor Coron grinned and waved, which made everyone's attention turn to me if it isn't the young lady from before!"
"Hello Elder Gor Coron." I greeted before turning to the patriarch. "Darbus." I respectfully nodded.
"Is this the friend of the young lady?" Darbus asked Renado, who responded with a yes. "I heard good things about you." He informed me with a smile.
"Thank you." I smiled, as Zant asked me if it seemed that Darbus recognized me or not, but I ignored him. "But why are you down here?"
"I heard about your friend." Darbus turned to Ilia, who seemed to be rather depressed and hung her head.
"And I wanted to speak to the shaman." The elder butted in.
"Fortune favors us." Renado looked happy. "If things go well, we should be able to recover Ilia's memory."
"Really?" I felt happy, in spite of everything that happened recently.
"Do you know Telma's friend, Shad?" He asked me. "It seems that he is researching the heavens and has come here to see the statue in the basement of the sanctuary. And, as I have learned, when Ilia was saved, she overheard someone talking about the rod of the heavens, or something like that."
"I think that if we should piece together the fragments of her past, in order to help her." Gor Coron added.
"Which means, if we work our way backward from the very place where she lost her memory, we may find something that will restore it." Renaldo concluded.
"That's great!" I let out a gasp of joy.
"Now we must retrace Ilia's path." Renaldo continued. "I'm certain it was Telma who cared for her before she arrived in this village, was it not?"
"Yes." Ilia quietly answered.
"Then could you take this to her?" Renado gave me a letter. "I... trust she will be of help."
"As long as she's staring at his backside, she would do anything for him." Zant commented as I took the letter (and fought to keep myself from laughing.)
"It shames me to say it, but to be honest, I cannot abide Telma's company." He admitted.
"Good luck trying to fight her off then." Zant told him, despite that only I could hear him. "Women are hard to shake off- I know from experience."
"Well, I need to speak with Shad before I go." I pocketed the letter before I approached Ilia. "...Hey." I placed my hand on her shoulder. "We'll get your memory back- I promise."
"...Do you really think I'll recover my memory?" She asked: the poor girl was doubtful of herself and it showed. "I regret that a complete stranger like yourself got caught up in this because of me. I'm sor-"
"Don't you dare be sorry." I squeezed her shoulder. "Bad things happen to us all, but as long as you have faith and people who care, you'll overcome this. And if you never regain your memory, then you have a chance to make new ones. Also- I'm I a stranger if we met at Telma's, or we talked that one time at the hot spring?"
"...I suppose not." Ilia realized, and I drew her into a hug.
"Don't worry." I added. "You're my friend- and friends help each other out."
-...That and probably ruin your OTP-
"Oh my!" Shad startled when I approached him, under the chapel. "Color me surprised! if it isn't Zelda!"
"Hi." I greeted. "I heard from Renado that you were studying the heavens. You don't know anything about beings from the sky, do you?"
A spark flared in Shad's eyes. "The Oocca? Dear girl, that is my passion! They are a race that's even older than the hylians who live somewhere in the sky- supposedly, we are descended from them."
"...I'm related to Ooccoo?" I raised my eyebrow at this horrific thought, before I realized. "But wait a minute! What about Skyloft and the people of Hyli-"
"Debatable." Shad shot it down. "Anyway, my research took me here- it's a surprising coincidence that you're here too. You are quite remarkable, you know that? Anyway-" He beamed. "I found it at long last! I observed a statue down here- it's the same as the one in the manuscripts my dear father left me. There are many similar statues around Hyrule, but this one seems to be different. In fact, take a look at the belly, where something is written there!"
He giddily lead me to the statue. "This was also in my father's notes. It's called Sky Writing, I believe. 'Awaken us with the word that breaks the seal.' is what I believe it says."
"Show him the rod!" Zant hissed.
"...Out of curiosity." I pulled the dominion rod out. "Would this have anything to do with it? It's not active."
"...Even if it is," Shad was disappointed. "I'm afraid your friend Ilia would know the answer."
"...Right." I nodded. "Thanks anyway." I began to head out.
"What is 'Skyloft?'" Zant asked.
"My ancestors lived on islands of earth that floated in the sky for a time." I answered. "What happened was..."
-One trip later-
"So, loftwings and Ooccoo are different creatures, and there is no way we descended from them. At all."
"Are you talking to yourself dear?" Telma asked from her counter.
"Oh!" I gasped in realization. "Yes." I let out a weak laugh as I pulled out the letter. "I have something for you from Renado."
Telma's eyes lit up and she eagerly took my letter when I approached the counter. I waited until she read all the contents, before she complained.
"All this writing and he doesn't bother to mention a thing about little ol' me? Honey, that is what I call rude!" She made a 'tsk' noise.
"Well, there's no accounting for the foolishness of a man." She crossed her arms and shook her head. "And at least I understand Ilia's situation now."
"You can help, can you?" I asked.
"Of course I can lend a hand for that adorable girl!" She beamed. She looked up at the ceiling and thought. "Hmmm, what else do I know... The first one to bring Ilia to this shop was that doctor... Maybe he knows something, but he's a crusty old bat, that's for sure..."
An idea struck her. "I got it!" She pulled something from under the counter and handed a piece of paper to me. "Go ahead and take this to him. This magic little paper will get that codger talking!" She grinned.
I took a look at the paper: apparently it was an invoice for the doctor's running tab, which... had a large number in rupees written on it.
"Someone likes their liquor." I was amazed at what I saw.
"It sure would be nice if she started remembering things soon, eh, Zelda?" Telma asked.
One trip later, I found the doctor waiting in his office.
"Eh?" He looked at me in interest. "So it's the admirable young lady who was willing to help the Zora boy for nary a single rupee."
Stay calm. I told myself as he continued to talk. You faced a large spider not that long ago, and it caused you less anger than this man did.
"By the way, that girl didn't mention anything about me, did she?" He asked.
To which I silently showed him the invoice.
His reaction was priceless.
"AIIIGH!" He nearly screamed and flinched before he became frantic. "L-look! I can't pay this off right now! I can see Telma's hired you as some sort of heavy to strong-arm me, but she'll have to wait! Look young lady, if I'd been able to sell the wooden statue that young lady hid, I would've been able to get the money."
"Statue?" I asked.
"But see, I accidentally spilled medicine all over that little carving, which made it stink awfully. I put it outside to dry... but... then. Well, it was stolen." He clutched his hands nervously. "Who goes around stealing people's stuff like that? What a world!"
"You hypocrite!" I snarled. "That belonged to Ilia, and it could have restored her memory!"
"Well, I didn't know!" The doctor snapped back. "Now, I can't repay the debt anytime soon, so please let me go to work!" He then hobbled off to part of his office.
I waited until I asked Zant to turn me into a wolf. I searched the place until I got a whiff of a very strong herbal like scent.
"Hello, doctor."
I froze, just as I heard a hilarious shrieking sound. "WHO IN DIN'S NAME ARE YOU?!"
"Just a good citizen who needs a check up- oh wait, that's right! Stupid me!" There was a sinister chuckle. "You disobeyed your oath to care for any patient whose is in your area of expertise!"
"HOW DARE YOU!"
"I have every right to dare, if you turned your back on a young Zora child- who also just so happened to be the prince of the Zoras. And if you turned your back on royalty, then who knows how much anger you have incited."
"GET OUT OF MY OFFICE!" The doctor shrieked.
"Sure." I was suddenly changed back. "But- ah... I might have whispered about this to a few members of the public... awhile back."
"...GAYHHHHHHHH!"
-later-
"...What was that for?" I asked Zant, after I left the office and a very angry and very spooked doctor.
"I was practicing my politics." Zant nonchalantly told me. "I never told you that I studied law and politics, did I?"
...I think something imploded after I heard this.
"You need to tell someone to fire that Doctor." Zant advised me after I changed back and left the building. "Someone like him is bad for the profession and the patient."
"I'm surprised the King never heard about him." I answered as I hid in a courtyard filled with cats. I meant to turn into a wolf there, but I became ambushed by a bunch of cats, who seemed to like me and wanted my attention. They rubbed against my feet and pawed at them, and I had no choice but to give in to my urges and pet them all. I couldn't help but let out a squeal of delight as they all purred in happiness.
Suddenly, I was turned into a wolf by the impatient Zant, but it didn't upset my feline friends in the slightest.
"The pretty lady turned into a wolf!"
"Wow!"
"Could you tell my owner to stop giving me milk? My stomach can't tolerate it!"
"Thank you for petting me!"
"I like you, pretty lady!" One kitten rubbed one of my legs. "Can you adopt me?"
"And me?" Another asked. "We're twins!"
"I'm in a hurry." I apologized. "I need to follow a particular scent, but I wouldn't mind adopting you when the-"
"Yay!" the kittens mewed.
"I didn't-" I sent a pleading look to the other cats, who chuckled.
"I have to go now!" I hurried out of the courtyard.
Which was a big mistake as everyone screamed in terror as I ran through the streets. To be honest though...I actually delighted in it. Talk about a guilty pleasure!
To my surprise, the trail took me to the outside of Telma's bar, where a familiar cat was waiting.
"Louise?" I asked.
"Zelda." She cooly greeted me with a nod of her head. "I'm afraid that, due to circumstances, we hadn't had the fortune of meeting properly. I know it's you." She added before I could ask. "You can't hide your scent from me, nor that of your companion."
"I'm trying to find something that belongs to a friend of mine." I began.
"You're looking for that statue that Ilia had, aren't you dear?" Louise asked. "I took the statue from that dreadful Doctor, but then I was attacked by some skeletal dog beasts, who took it from me. I don't know why they did, but I thought it likely that Ilia was in a dangerous spot. Those fiends lurk just outside the southern gate... Unfortunately, they only come out at night."
I was surprised. "Why did you-"
"Ilia is a kind hearted girl." Louise smiled. "I would like to see her memories restored as well."
"One more thing." She cautioned. "They move as a pack- you need to give them all a thrashing."
"Thank you Louise." I smiled. "I owe you-"
"Thank you Louise!"
I turned to see the two kittens waiting patiently next to me.
"Why are you here?!" I asked.
"You said you would adopt us!" The boy kitten said.
"Yeah!" The girl joined in.
-later-
"Zant, I apologize, but now we have a new set of companions." I said as the sun finally set. "Do you mind?"
Zant was awkwardly holding the kittens in his arms.
"...I hate you." He told me.
"Well-" I took my sword out, just as I saw a ring of skeletal beasts burst out of the ground. "Here goes-"
"No!"
Zant slowly put the kittens in my arms, and kept them away from him, as if they were horrible little creatures. "I got this." He told me, before he shot into the battle.
And so, I patiently waited as a laughing tornado ran through the beasts and sent there bones flying everywhere.
"You have to try that sometime!" Zant dazedly told me as soon as he was done, and as he wobbled in place, before he fell over and collapsed.
"Where is it?" I wondered as I looked around the bones, until I saw a brown object. "Ah!" I set the kittens down and picked up what looked like a small totem with an eye that looked identical to the symbol of the Sheikah tribe.
"Are you sure that thing will work?" He asked me as he lifted his head off the ground. "You all are putting so much faith into that wooden carving."
"It has to." I looked at him as my hand automatically went to my brooch. "Objects can hold our dearest memories. Even if we forget, the objects can help hold onto our memories for us. I told that to Colin a long time ago, and I hold strong to that belief."
-later-
"You're back!" Renado beamed as he and the others saw me enter the chapel, but then he looked amused. "And...I see you have-"
"It's a long story." I sighed as the kittens continued to trail after me as I approached Ilia.
"I have something for you." I handed the statue to her. "I think it used to be yours."
She looked at the statue in her hands for a moment. As if something clicked, she gasped. "What... is this?!"
She grabbed her head and shook it. "I remember something... I was confined somewhere... Yes, and I was saved by whoever was confined with me... And when that person set me free, they gave me this statue..."
She shoot straight up with a gasp of realization. "Yes! I remember that much! But that means that person is still in trouble!" She groaned. "What is wrong with me?! I can't remember where that place was!"
"I REMEMBER!" Gor Coron cried out. "That belonged to the tribe that protected the Hylian royal family long ago! They worked in secret, so they lived in a lonely forgotten place. But I heard that tribe dwindled in the prolonged wars..."
"So you know where the Sheikah tribe live?" I asked.
"If you want to find that hidden village, look for a path leading to the Lanaryu province on the far side of the Bridge of Eldin." He advised me. "A rock slide blocked the way to the village, long ago, but it won't be a problem for us." He turned to Darbus, who, after sharing a nod, ran out.
"I'll join him soon!" I promised. "But first..."
-five minutes later-
"Colin, could you hold onto these kittens for me?" I asked as I held them to him. "They grew attached to me, and I need someone to look after them."
"Sure!" Colin happily took them from my arms. "Is it true that you're helping Ilia to restore her memories?"
"Yes!" I was breathless. "She recovered a little of it, and now I need to go find the person who can help!"
"One more thing." I looked at the kittens. "...At least let me name one of them, ok?"
-STILL LATER-
"Sorry!" I panted I found Darbus as he punched his fists through a tunnel filled with rocks. "I had to make a detour!"
With one final cry, Darbus knocked the rocks in, to reveal the outside.
"I have to warn you." Darbus cautioned as he sniffed the air. "This scent that has been burning my nostrils... it is the scent of evil."
"There is one powerful creature that I have seen about... but under that beast are many minions who attack and plunder like a pack of hyenas. There are thirty... no... at most twenty of them ahead..." He calculated. "They are probably just a small band of survivors... ragged remnants who have settled, leaderless, into this village."
"That shouldn't be a problem." I almost took my sword up, but then Darbus warned me. "Before you go, I must warn you: you must destroy them, before they spot you!"
I nodded. "Got it."
I ran forward as Darbus curled into a ball and rolled back. What met me was a set of buildings that looked old and abandoned.
"...So this is where the Shiekah live." I wondered, just as I saw the bokoblins lurking and waiting about. I thought about what Darbus told me for a moment.
"Give me my bow and the Hawkseye." I demanded. On cue, I felt something cover my eyes, the bow in my hand, and quiver on my back.
"Did I ever tell you how good of an archer I really am?" I whispered, as I got an arrow ready. I aimed it at the nearest bokoblin.
"Watch me fly." I grinned and set the arrow flying.
I carefully shot at every possible bokoblin I could find- especially the ones that had arrows- before I had to retreat into the buildings. Some of the bokoblins I could easily finish off with y sword, and some required extra care, because of how well they hid. It became a little difficult as the process of elimination continued, but when I got to the building on the other side of the village, all the bokoblins had been slain.
"And that's how it's done." I grinned as I took the Hawkseye off. No sooner did I do this, than I heard the door open and turned to see an old woman come out.
"The howl's of the beasts..." She softly spoke. "They've faded into silence."
"Are you ok?" I asked in concern as I approached her and put my bow away. "You're not hurt, are you?"
"She looked at me. "Are you..." She let out a gasp of awe and clasped her hands together in prayer. "The savior! It's you, the savior! Please forgive me for not opening the door!"
"It's fine." I shook my head and held my hand out. "I'm Zelda."
"My name is Impaz." She shook my hand. "I'm the last resident of this poor village. My name comes from the great one who built this village so long ago.."
"Impa of the Shiekah." I recalled the old stories. "The most respected of them all."
She smiled at me. "This used to be a proud homeland, but it fell into decline and became infested with dangerous beasts. It's become an awful place..." She gasped. "Wait.. your name... So then, you saved that nice girl?"
"Do you mean Ilia?" I asked. "She said that someone helped her in this village."
"When she was here, she would cheer me up by saying that you would come to help." She smiled, before she frowned. "That sweet girl.. She worried about this old woman, even as I helped her to escape from here..." She looked back up. "By Royal order, I can't leave this place until a certain person arrives, no matter what terrible fate is visited upon it."
"Oh, but listen to me blather on!" She looked up at me. "I have a favor to ask: would you help me return this to her? She kept it close by, but she didn't hesitate to part with it in order to protect me."
She handed to me what looked like a horseshoe shaped wind instrument attached to thread. "I believe in my heart that it's kept me safe all this time. Please return it to that girl."
I hugged it to my chest. "I will." I promised.
-Lat- IF I HAVE TO WRITE THE WORD ONE MORE TIME, I-!-
"I'm back!" I rushed through the doors.
Slowly, I approached Ilia, as Renado and Gor Coron looked on, and held the instrument out to her.
"Ilia..." I slowly began as my heart began to pound. "Is this yours?"
She took a long look at it. "I..."
She looked at me. "I... knew you... once..." She closed her eyes... "This feels so familiar... the scent of hay... Long ago..."
-past-
"Daddy!" She giggles as she pops out of a pile of hay. To her delight, her father picks her up and swings her around in circles, with her feet swinging out into the open air.
She remembers her and her new best friend playing hide and seek among the goats.
She and her friend are holding hands and spinning in circles on the grass.
"News shines through the shadows and o'ver the dell!" She squeals.
"Ol' Bongo Bongo, is sealed up nice and good, in the deep dark well!" Her friend concludes.
They let out and fall onto the grass, while still laughing.
"And so," She tells the children, as part of their history lesson. "The Gorons and the Zoras never got along, but their trading helped develop their bond."
"Why?" Talo snorted. "The Gorons can whoop the Zoras any day!"
"But they can drown easily." Colin timidly spoke out.
She nods. "We may be different, but their strengths helped make them realize that perhaps they weren't so different after all."
She remembers her and her friend all grown up. She's holding onto her friend's waist, while her friend holds onto the horse's reigns and takes them on a gallop.
"WOOO!" She yells in excitement. "GO EPONA!"
"HOLD ON!" Her friend yells as they approach a fence, and she complies.
Epona leaps and soars through the air- her stomach flips up- and the wonderful mare makes a safe landing.
"YES!" Her friend cheers. "I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT!"
"TO EPONA!" She yells. "AND TO ZELDA: BEST FRIEND, EVER!"
-present-
She let out an excited gasp. "Yes, we were friends!" She placed a hand to her mouth. "My father... the village... you- I remember now!"
Unable to contain myself any longer, I ambushed her and gave her a hug. "Yes!" I hopped. "You remember me!"
"I do!" She cried. "Oh my gosh- I'm so sorry! I can't-"
"No it's fine!" I shook my head. "It's ok!" I finally relaxed. "It's good to have you back."
"Y-yeah." Ilia nodded and I let go of her.
She glanced at the instrument. "This was a gift for you.. I wanted to give it to you, before you left to the castle." She placed it into my hands. "It's to call for Epona- no matter how far the two of you are separated, you'll be able to call for her."
I smiled at her: it was wonderful that my oldest friend had finally remembered me, after all that we both had gone through.
"We've been through a lot, haven't we?" I asked. "You lost your memory, were kidnapped, and tended to a prince... it's been dangerous, but so exciting, hasn't it?"
Ilia smiled. "You've changed to. I'd say for the better, by the look in your eyes."
"It has." I admitted. "But Ilia... I can't go back, just yet. I still have things I need to do. I owe someone a favor-"
"That person you told me about, right?"
"Yes, but there's more to it." I shook my head. "It doesn't matter right now. It's just good to have you back."
"Wait a minute!" Ilia stopped me. "I just remembered something that I told you earlier. The Rod of the Heavens? It was actually about a messenger to the heavens who held the rod. The nice lady who helped me, told me about it: in her village, they've guarded something for the heavenly messenger for generations, so they await them. But they can't give this item away until the messenger arrives with the rod... that's why she couldn't leave."
"...Oh." I realized with slight annoyance.
"What's with that noise?" She asked me.
"...Because I was just there and I have the rod of the heavens with me."
Ilia laughed. "Then go! Don't let Impaz be there all alone anymore!"
...Sorry if it's short. I promise we will get to the better half soon.
Somewhere, someone has to be laughing over the idea of Hylia's people being descended from birds... while everyone else cringes at the thought.
You guys should check out Tjfanfics99 fan art of Fierce Deity Lexi on deviantart. I thought it was really cool myself. :)
The kittens: I threw it in for fun, since I love cats. I wrote the 'adopt me' line and the idea stuck- much to Zelda's surprise. What should we name these kittens? I shall dub thee Baymax His Awesomeness, and Lady Clawfang... kidding. :D
...Oh lord. What if the huge number of the cats from the hidden village wanted to be adopted? Can you imagine the insanity? Should I even write that for the next chapter?
Also, for future knowledge, if I do Hyrule Warriors, I'm planning on making three or four captains (or soldiers) into fleshed out or original characters. In addition, I'm including possibly three or four 'descendant' characters in the army, which will include Groose and possibly Nabooru: who do you want to see as a 'playable character' that didn't make the cut in the original game? Of course, I want to include characters who will be part of the army, while certain others that I like will be elsewhere, on the sidelines.
If it's a game I've played and a character I'm familiar with, I will include them. (I can't guarantee anyone from A Link between Worlds will make it in... sorry.)
Next chapter: we continue the annoying journey and head to the sky... And then I can finally get to the chapter you guys must be dying for me to write.
