A little extra coz I really messed up with not posting in so long...

Chapter 12:

Ichigo was busy getting ready to go to bed, putting her headpiece in her hair when she saw the scowl on her face. She was very irritated with Ryou for sending Kish after that girl, she would only admit to herself that she felt threatened by her for being prettier and smarter than her. She had never thought of blondes that way before with Pudding. Even though her skin was pale and not the usual tanned it bothered her because it fit even better with her golden hair, she looked like a doll. Ichigo wanted to comfort Kish in his time of need telling him that everything was okay and that she'd definitely find a way to get Airi back as well as his cousin but now she couldn't do either. Pudding was trying to get Tart out of his funk and Lettuce and Mint were already sleeping the events already having caught up with them.

She finally got the headpiece adjusted just right and went out of the bathroom to go to her bed, but she knew she wouldn't be able to sleep much that night, she was too worried about Kish, and hoped that he wouldn't fall in love with Susina., the look he gave her earlier still bothered Ichigo.

Susina felt bad for just leaving them like that, but she couldn't think of any way that she could go with them, she couldn't leave everyone behind just because she had to go fight whatever monsters with them. She got home at about 5 and got an earful for being late, her parents were always overprotective over her and now she couldn't even go out for the next two weeks. Her father was having a bad go at her and once she said something back he got even more angry and she went to her room not in the mood for more fighting. She knew her mom was going to take his side again even if he was wrong.

'How could I even go with them... they would never let me go no matter what', she thought to herself sadly as she combed her hair, glad that it returned to it's golden colour once the clothes and everything disappeared, Mint told her that it was called detransforming.

"I now know why you don't want to go with", a voice said behind her which made her jump and turn around clutching her brush defensively, ready to pummel whoever was in her bedroom. She sighed as she the boy from earlier, but then immediately got defensive again.

"What exactly are you doing in my room? Do you plan on kidnapping me now?", she asked him taking a more defensive stance with her brush.

He disappeared and she looked at the windowsill confused dropping her brush a bit, when she suddenly felt arms holding her arms down.

"If I wanted to kidnap you this would be what I would do", he released her and appeared on the windowsill again, "I wouldn't sit here and be talking to you like now."

"What do you want then?", she asked him relaxing a bit and sitting down on her bed. She was tired after the day and didn't even have time to be surprised anymore, she didn't even care if her parents came in at this point, she knew the boy was more than capable of hiding himself, that could be the only explanation as to how he found her, he followed her without her knowing anything.

"Well Ryou sent me after you, only he would know why", the boy said. She could see he was also tired and there was some hurt on his face that he was trying to hide.

Just then her cellphone rang and she looked at the number calling, a smile spread across her face as she saw the name on her phone. Grant was calling her and she wanted to call him when the boy suddenly appeared.

"Hi Grant", Susina said happily but softly, afraid her parents might hear and remember she had a phone and take that as well.

"No no, it's not my fault I'm in trouble again, you should've seen today it was so crazy...", Susina began, but Kish took her phone.

"Hey why the heck are you taking my phone, give it back stop floating and bring it here immediately", she said angrily to him as he floated up towards the ceiling, luckily her roof was quite far.

"You can't tell him about today, look I dunno who this is of you, but you can't, I don't think Ryou would be very happy about it",Kish said then heard the phone being put down on the other end.

"Oh looks like your friend put the phone down", Kish said.

"That's just great you are such an ass", Susina said in a huff sitting down on her bed blowing up her cheeks.

"I think it's the first time I've been compared to that", Kish shrugged and threw her phone back to her.

"So why are you here? To taunt me or something cause I'm really tired and not in the mood at all", Susina asked him, he was a very strange boy and his ears really intruiged her.

"I told you Ryou sent me, anyway I guess you don't want to come with us because you think your parents won't let you am I right?", Kish asked her floating down and taking a seat in front of her mirror and looking at her.

"Well that is one reason, I know they won't even consider it", Susina said sadly.

"Ever thought of running away?", Kish asked her.

Susina gasped at the non caring way he asked her, it's like he thought it wasn't even a big deal.

"I could never do that, they might be too over protective but they still love me and I know they do everything they do because of that, besides they're not the only reason at all, for one it's Japan I can't speak, read or write any part of that language I don't even understand you guys when you talk", she said and Kish noticed she looked a bit embarrassed to admit it.

"It's easy enough to learn I had to as well, all your main earthly languages" ,Kish told her.

"Wait earthly... You're a freakin alien!", she gasped and clasped her mouth shut with her hands, "I'm sorry that was rude of me, but I've always been a sceptic... so wait those things this afternoon were they aliens as well?"

"I'll give you all the details later, I first want to know all of your reasons", Kish told her and folded his arms trying to look like an authority figure.

"Fine...", she grumbled," Well my main reason is..."

"Susina let me in!" she heard from outside and went to the window.

"That", she said as she facepalmed and pointed outside. Kish got up and walked to the window.

"Are you kidding me he came here", Kish said looking at Susina.

"Yeah and if you want me to even consider going with you, if there is a way to fix all the problems, he gets to be on it", Susina said folding her arms over her chest.

"You are playing dirty Susina", Kish said looking at her, "I like that... It's fine with me but Ryou would maybe not give in so likely, let me just disappear then you can let him in."

"Disappear how?", Susina asked him, still blushing slightly from him telling her he liked her, she was afraid that he would go away.

"Don't worry little kitten", Kish said patting her head and bending to look in her crystal blue eyes, "I'll still be here listening to you conversation."

He disappeared right in front of her eyes, making her stand there blushing like an idiot before grant called again. Her window wasn't too far from the ground since she her room wasn't a story up or anything but it was still a way up and no normal person could get up it, that's why she had a ladder for Grant inside her cupboard. Her parents had punished her too much and said she couldn't see him as punishment so she figured out this way to still see him even if she was being punished.

She hooked the ladder on a few screws on her windowsill and let it down for Grant, so he could come up easily. It took him less than a minute to be in her room.

"So what's going on, I couldn't understand anything from the phone call earlier with the floating and everything, what was floating?", Grant asked her all in one breath.

"Calm down I'll tell you everything now, I just got permission to", Susina said happily and sat down on her bed Grant also joining her.

Susina told her about her day starting at where she was eating her favourite pizza, sweet chilli chicken and feta cheese, "so you know those ears and tail you've always said were real and I argued that they were things for dress up or something?"

"Yeah? They're real aren't they?" Grant asked her not really surprised by this.

Kish snickered a bit from where he was invisible he had never thought someone would think of an excuse like that for the mew mew ears and tails that appeared, he had to tell Ichigp.

Susina nodded excitedly.

"You know for a smart girl you can really be stupid sometimes", Grant told her hitting his forehead with his hand.

Susina just proceeded with the story telling him about the 'weird' boy and girl that first came up to her. Kish scowled at being called weird, he was a lot of things but he didn't really see himself as being weird at all. She then proceeded to tell him about the monster and transformation and how she had come up with a plan to save the day. Then she told him what they wanted from her and that she now thought that all of the mews and even she must be some kind of prototype aliens experimented on and they wanted to recapture them to take their powers away probably and there were good aliens that were protecting them as well.

With that declaration Kish began laughing and couldn't stop himself, he couldn't even concentrate enough to keep himself invisible anymore and he appeared rolling on the floor as he was laughing clutching his stomach.

"Who's that?", Grant asked and moved in front of Susina protectively.

"Don't worry he's one of the good aliens like me", Susina said happily.

Kish was now laughing even more tears came to his eyes and he tried to calm himself down, he really couldn't wait to tell Ichigo all of this he was sure she would enjoy it as much as he did.

Finally after about 5 minutes of laughing he was beginning to calm down, he wiped away all of the tears he had cried during the 5 minutes of laughing.

"Oh kay look like your friend said there for a smart girl you are quite stupid", Kish told her still laughing somewhat.

Susina puffed up her cheeks and looked at him hurt.

"Grant pleased to meet you and sorry but goodness your ears are large", Grant told him extending his hand, he was still a bit surprised by Kish's appearance but just brushed it off, it must be one of the new people she had met today he thought.

"Kisshu but everyone calls me Kish, I'm sorry but Susina really has no idea what she's talking about", Kish said taking his hand confused as Grant shook it, he was used to people bowing in Japan not taking hands and make them go up and down.

"How am I wrong exactly", Susina said still looking at him a bit furiously. 'So his name is Kish, what a weird name', she thought to herself.

"Well for one you are perfectly human except for some cat genes that are in you, but I don't know much about that, you must ask Ryou, the blondie guy you saw today, if you want to know more, the only aliens are me, my brother Tart and Pie, our sister Airi... who was kidnapped today... and cousin Serena... who was brainwashed to think we are enemies, and that guy who was with them. The thing you fought today was also an alien creation but that's it, our kind never experimented on you", Kish told her pain coming back to his voice as he talked about Airi and Serena again.

"Look if you want a solution to your problem for coming with us and want to know more, get to Ryou and ask him, as for me I'm done, I know where you live so I guess that'll be good enough for him, so goodbye", and with that the green haired alien boy disappeared.

"This whole situation sounds so complicated Susina", Grant said moving closer to her.

"I know Grant but I can't just leave them be... without me today they wouldn't have won and I know that, that's what bothers me most... If I knew they didn't need me I wouldn't be so hell bent on going... I'm not someone who enjoys fighting with scary monsters, heck I'm scared of small bugs for crying out loud", Susina said sadly.

"Well if they can get your parents to let you go I'm going with you, I won't let you face this alone", Grant said to her matter-of-factly.

Susina looked into his green eyes and stroked his blonde hair that was lighter than hers. She was lucky to have such a good friend as him.

/Back at hotel\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Kish knew that Ichigo had told him he mustn't ever go into a girls room if they had pajamas on and the only reason he could ever use to do that was if they were in mortal peril and he had to help them, but he couldn't help himself he teleported inside right above her bed.

She looked peaceful to him, but her bed was very messed up, not like the usual neat bed that didn't even look like someone was or is sleeping in. He could see she struggled to fall asleep and his brow furrowed a bit wondering why she would struggle to fall asleep.

He floated above her head a bit and looked at her. Just looking at he gave him a kind of calm that he had needed since the fight, but he didn't have time the rest of the day to look at her for the calm he also couldn't think of anything other than his sister or cousin earlier, he didn't even spare Ichigo a second thought.

He sighed a bit to himself, maybe he didn't deserve her after all and that's why it had never worked out before, when his life got a bit messed up he just thought of himself and never gave her a second thought.

"Kish don't", Ichigo muttered in her sleep and his ears perked up a bit, she was dreaming about him but he wondered what about, what was he not supposed to do?

"Susina", Ichigo muttered again, in her sleep she made a fist.

He smiled a bit thinking he knew what it was about then dropped his head a bit and kissed her on the forehead.

"Don't worry about anything Koneko-chan... I'll protect you even though I couldn't protect Airi the way I wanted to", Kish whispered to her and then teleported to his own room.

Ichigo opened her eyes and lifted her head to look around the room, she could have sworn she had heard Kish talk to her somewhat just a moment before. She couldn't see or hear anything so she just brushed it of as a dream or a part of her imagination running wild and then went back to sleep again.
