Hey! I'm back! So while I was gone, I changed my pen name and I've also written a few chapters for you guys!

Now, don't forget to review. (You can also message me if you want something specific to happen to our favorite otp!)

The BPD team's day was coming to an end. Their suspects were under surveillance and nothing could be done until another clue pops up.

It was Friday night, so it was more than predictable that the precincts' employees started to leave earlier.

Jane's head was pounding. There was nothing that irritates her more than being stuck with a dead-end double homicide. The detective spent most of her day staring at the computer screen and trying to find anything that links both of the poor victims. She looked away from her screen to rest her tired eyes for a few, but instead, she heard whispers.

The men she worked with were bickering about something in their own little corner - Korsak's desk.

"What are you ladies talking about?" she said as she leaned back on her office chair. God, I'm going to need a back massage.

Jane's husky voice startled detective Frost. he almost fell off from his sitting position on Korsak's desk.

"Oh. Uh," he started. "We were just saying that we should leave early and go to the Dirty Robber."

"Seriously? In the middle of an unsolved double homicide?" she emphasized the her last three words.

"C'mon Janie. We did everything we can for now. Plus, you look like you need a drink."

"And Dr. Isles should come with us," Frost added. Jane raised an eyebrow. "It'll be fun."

Jane thought for a moment. She did just have a rough day and a drink didn't sound so bad after all whether Maura was going to be there or not.

"Ok, fine," she agreed. "I don't know what you guys are up to, but you're buying a drink. Now let's go get the doc."

As they were just about to head out, a familiar clicking sound was heard from the end of the hallway.

Speaking of the devil, Jane thought.

"Oh. I suppose we're ready to go." The doctor flashed her famous radiant smile.

Unconsciously, the detective flashed her own cheeky smile and her hands went directly to the medical examiner to lead her to the elevator. Frost and Korsak shared an accomplice look and hid their smirk as they followed to two women.

"So Maura, did you find anything new on the bodies?" Jane asked as she picked up some peanuts and brought them to her mouth. Maura's eyes followed her movements.

"Ok. Enough about the case for today" Korsak interrupted. "Let's have some fun!"

"Ha. What do you know about fun, old man?" Frost commented.

"Hey! I know fun! Come on, we can dance!"

"OooOOoh no. I am not dancing!" Jane fought back, almost chocking on her beer.

The 3 detectives argued and the golden brown haired doctor chuckled in distance. It's been that way ever since she met them. My Three Musketeers.

"Maura! Tell them I don't dance!" Jane pleaded.

"...What if I danced with you?"

Jane didn't expect her friend to say that. Her jaw almost dropped. She snapped back to reality when Frost kicked her under the table.

"He-", she looked at Maura who was looking at her with her irresistible puppy dog eyes. "Fine."

"Alright!" Frost jumped off his seat from the booth to the dance floor. He cued the bartender. "Music, please!"

The bartender nodded and turned up the volume. The night was just about to get started.

And that's it for chapter 12! I know it's short, but there is a huge plot twist in the next few chapters.
