Teck: Hope you guys like it!

"Gohan, I have been killed and almost knocked into an endless void. I can withstand the painful headache it would take to punch you. Shut up!" Darien said extremely annoyed.

Gohan was pacing the room behind him as he spoke. "I can't believe you never mentioned that this was an option. That he could just take over her body! How do you suggest we find her now? Maybe I can come over there and play charades too!"

"I'm trying to grasp the energy signature of the portal. If you would shut up I can concentrate and try to access it again. There are some advantages to being his relative. If we weren't I wouldn't be able to do this." He said gliding his hands as if over an invisible wall.

"It's been almost 20 minutes. Do you think you can still get the signal?" Gohan asked finally stopping his pacing.

"Yes, it's faint, but I almost have it. Now shut up." Darien stopped moving his hands and closed his eyes. Very slowly a blue light flickered. He tilted his head slightly to the side as he mentally pulled the blue light just a bit wider. As if it was a tear in the room.

A glimmer of hope flashed in Gohan and for the first time this whole terrible adventure he was glad Darien was here.

Darien opened his eyes as the tear grew wider. Wind blew through the portal the more it grew brushing his hair harshly from his face.

"Are you sure this is the right portal? It didn't seem as violent when Serena walked through" Gohan asked.

"There's a good chance this will either lead to her or to another dimension. It's the only lead we have so we better take it." Darien yelled over the wind through squinted eyes. "After you, your highness. I have to go through last so I can hold it open for you. It won't stay this way for long."

Gohan wasn't sure how confident he felt going through a portal that might lead to his death, but if there was a chance he could save Serena he had to try. He pushed past the blackness and jumped through, with Darien right behind him.

Serena

The Saiyain princess slowly opened her eyes. She was on her knees in a dark room wearing her royal gown. There were only two light sources, but she knew she was back in Diamond's tortuous lab. Her silver crystal was slowly spinning in the air on a stone pedestal to her left. The rest of the light came from a large metal contraption above her with an opening that beamed around her like an evil blue spotlight. She tried to move her arms but they were bound and spread to each side of her.

'This isn't good.' She thought trying to remember what happened before she blacked out. There was only the memory of a dark pain surging through her body. It was even worse than the bond. Her thoughts became more focused as she noticed the shadow hanging over her.

'This is really not good...' She thought and tried to pull herself together.

She couldn't put on the brave front anymore - it would only make it worse anyway. She was terrified of what he would do to her since she blasted him and escaped.

Her trembling body betrayed her as he crept down to her level. She kept looking down at the floor since she was to scared to meet his gaze.

"I've always thought you looked best when your true nature comes out. That crescent moon on your forehead is always my favorite look on you. It means your powers are fully active. Yet, here you are weak to my will."

He toyed with a strand of her hair near her face. "I was having so much fun with you earlier that I forgot that I needed you in better health. It sort of worked out that you got away." He put his hand against her cheek and slowly moved it to the back of her neck. She could feel his face inching closer to her face that was still facing the ground.

"I could have gotten you back sooner, but when he started to heal you I realized how much better that was for everyone. I could save my energy, he depleted his, and you were healthy enough to continue this process." He gripped her hair tighter with every phrase, forcing her to gasp in silent screams from the pain.

"Please….stop…" She whimpered. She knew it was only going to get worse and unfortunately she was right.

He grabbed the front of her neck in his other hand, forcing her to look into his grey eyes of steel. He slowly stood forcing her to her feet. She felt her shoulders turn painfully awkward angles from the restraints but luckily they didn't pop out of their sockets. "Beg and scream all you want to you wretch. None of it will save you from me. How is it, that out of an entire universe, one little girl like you can cause so many problems for me?"

"What are you going to do to me now?" Serena asked softly trying to settle his rage. 'I have to keep talking to him,' she thought. ' He seems to be a calmer when I talk to him.'

"I'm going to end this." He said with a bit of a softer tone. He removed his hand from the front of her neck and forced her close to his body. She wanted to vomit at the sound of him taking in her scent. He yanked her hair down so she would look up at him.

"I did this so I can access your crystal. Now that we are linked I can transfer that power to me. I harnessed some energy already since you've been back, but I can't get much more since you've been touched by the bond. I felt it blocking me when I took over your body. It's dormant, but still possess a problem."

Her head was now cradled between his hands. Serena's mind was going crazy with thoughts about what all of this means. Even after all this time, the bond still has some power?

"When I destroy Darien, the bond will be severed, it's good that it's dormant so I don't have to worry about killing you in the process. Killing the Prince of Earth will be an easy execution for me to complete before I take over the world. Then my pretty little energy source….we can be together without any distractions."

He pulled her in for a nasty nega-monster kiss. The stale taste of his tongue filled her lungs as it explored her mouth. She pulled against her restraints out of instinct, but he only became more forceful and excited by her bondage.

He finally let her go and she fell to the floor coughing and gauging at the experience. She didn't understand how he could go from hating her so deeply to something like that. Darien was crazy, but at least his painful affection had some logic. Diamond was no longer in front of her, but she could hear his evil smile in his words throughout the darkness. Just like his haunting voice in her dreams the past few months.

"Welcome to the rest of your eternity princess…."

The beam shot down on her with the most intensive shock searing her skin. She screamed in pain for what felt like forever. She could feel her energy leave at a dangerously rapid speed. She was sure to pass out any minute now.

Suddenly a blast shot at the machine producing the beam. It began to fall a part and crash around her causing the room to fill with smoke. More blast continued to attack the mechanism. A large piece of the machine was about to fall on her, when a blast disintegrated it to dust.

"I beg to differ."

Serena's ears perked up at the new voice in the room.

"Gohan," she said barely above a whisper. She looked around but didn't see him.

Another light appeared on the east side of the room, revealing a platform with a throne, where Diamond was sitting.

"Show yourself Saiyain and cut the dramatics. You've prolonged my plans long enough."

Gohan came out of the shadows in full armor as a transformed Super Saiyain. She hadn't felt his power at this level in a long time, she had forgotten how much he holds back when sparring with her in training. She was so relieved to see him she almost cried.

"I don't care about small talk. I just want you to pay. Not only for what you've done to the woman I love, but to the countless other innocent people you've tortured and killed. You might have survived in the past, but I'm going to make sure you go away and stay away for good." Gohan said in a cold voice.

Diamond nearly laughed at the Prince of Earth from his throne. "So you think you have a chance? I was hoping to deal with Darien first, but I'll warm up by destroying you. You're clearly suicidal to take on a fight with someone who knows so much about you, but you've never met. I've lingered in every training session and followed her every move for the past few months. You're style is barbaric and predictable. You don't stand a chance."

Gohan suddenly appeared behind him and chopped Diamond in the neck, forcing him from the thrown. The evil prince disappeared and reappeared floating in front of Gohan a few yards away.

"How's that for predictable?" Gohan asked with a smirk.

Serena watched the two fight in the air and around the room. She only knew where they were by the light of Gohan's golden aura. She stopped watching the fight when her restraints were suddenly blasted off. Before she knew it she was safely picked up into strong arms and taken to the shadows of the room. By now Gohan and Diamond had blasted holes in the ceiling allowing light to shine through.

She didn't need the light to know who smelled like red roses. It was obviously Darien. She took a few steps back from him as he looked her over.

"Did he hurt you badly this time? I know he would be very upset about you getting away from him." Darien asked

"I'll be fine." She said wrapping her arms around her body. She still wasn't comfortable with him looking at her so closely. "I just need my crystal to fight."

"I have it," Darien said. "I grabbed it before I freed you."

"Great, now give it to me so I can end this." Serena said stepping towards him.

This time it was his turn to take a few steps back. He even put his arms up in defense and palms facing forward, like he would when he was caught in defensive boyfriend mode in the past.

"Darien, we don't have time for you to pull your crazy tricks. Give me my crystal!" she said flickering silver in anger, while banging on his armor. "This is no time for your bull."

"You need to calm down." he said taking her by the wrist. Surprisingly he didn't hurt her, but had a firm measure to his tone and grip. Was that actually genuine worry in his eyes that she saw?

"Listen, I'm not trying to trick you. I'm trying to help you. You are in no shape to use this crystal. That is why Gohan restored my power. I wasn't lying to him, when I told him this will kill you. We disagree on a lot but neither of us want to see that."

"I don't need my crystal to stop you anymore." She backed away from him and held out her hand to build a blast. She was tired but if she could land at least one good hit, then she can take her crystal back.

"Serena, stop!" He yelled angrily. "We don't have time for this. Gohan knew how dangerous this was for you, so he made a new deal with me."

"What?" She said wearily.

He wanted to take Diamond on for good, so we made a new pact that I would take you and the crystal to only your father. I have to take you directly to Vegeta or I will die. He might not be the brightest, but Gohan is starting to catch on to using magic."

Serena couldn't believe what she was hearing. She couldn't let him fight this alone, something inside her knew that Diamond might just be able to tear him apart.

"Then don't leave here. Stay and fight." She said practically pleading her ex.

"No, he's not my concern. You are the only person I care about in this situation. I'll bring you to your father and stay with you. You'll need me if Gohan is destroyed. The power from the bond will be the only thing able to stop him from growing more powerful."

She couldn't let that happen. She'd rather let Diamond torture her again then to go through the process of the Bond.

Serena rested her hands on his armor and let Darien wrap his arms and cape around her cold body like he used to nearly a lifetime ago.

"Darien, you took this power so you can help Gohan stop him. Right now Gohan is stronger than you. Even with the bond, who is to say that you can stop Diamond on your own if he is defeated? It would be better if the two of you fought him together. That way there's no question about Diamond being gone for good, and you won't have to risk yourself later. Please…..Please, do it for me."

Darien looked into her blue eyes as chaos raged around them. He stroked her hair with his hand.

"Oh Moon Princess," he said. "Even after all this time, I still can't figure out the hold you have on me."

Gohan

Gohan could see what Serena and Darien were talking about. This guy had some power to him, and he wasn't even at full strength. He needed to start making some critical blows to Diamond soon, but he just kept rebounding.

"I could do this all night Your Majesty, but I have a princess waiting for me." Diamond's voice called from the darkness.

"I'll never let you touch her again." He yelled back as he tried to sense where Diamond was hiding. "You try to talk a big game Diamond. You might be fast and able to handle my attacks, but I know it's wearing on you. You can't go that long without fighting and think you'll last."

Gohan dodged a blast coming at him from behind. He sent one of his own in the direction it came from in hopes of hitting him. Diamond was smart. He knew Gohan needed him to stay still long enough for him to charge a stronger attack that would do damage.

"I will die before I let you hurt Serena like this again," He said slightly seeping in hate. He was annoyed that this might drag on for awhile, and he didn't want Serena to be alone with Darien for a long period of time. Magic or not, he still didn't trust Darien around her.

Suddenly he was smacked out of the air from behind. The hit was hard but he managed to land on his feet. Diamond blasted an attack at him from above and Gohan countered it.

"You have no chance in this Gohan." Diamond hovered above him with a smirk. "The universe fears my name for a reason, and it looks like you're going to find out the hard way."

Diamond's express changed as though he just thought of something. He gingerly tapped his index finger against his lip. "You know, I might not destroy you right away. Maybe I'll keep you around and let you witness what becomes of my domination of this planet and its pretty little sailor soldier. "

Gohan threw a few more attacks that he was able to dodge. He looked over to where Dairen and Serena had been earlier, but they weren't there now. This fight was getting on his nerves and he needed to know something was gong according to plan at least.

'At least he got her out of here.'

His thought was distracted by a large ki blasts coming his way. He managed to dodge the attack from above, but when he moved out the way his face was harshly met with Diamond's fist. The blow threw him off guard and he ended up being blasted halfway across the room.

Diamond walked slowly towards the Saiyain has it took him a little longer than last time to get up.

"You're a coward! " Gohan yelled. "Your just a leech hiding in the shadows and taking cheap attacks. How can you ever take over the world if you won't even show your face in a fight?"

"Have all of the tantrums you want about 'playing fair'," said Diamond. "If you were stupid enough to challenge me in my home, that is your own fault. Bes-"

Diamond's boasting was cut off by a series of unexpected ki blast from the shadows. As his body flew across the room, Darien appeared on the other side and landed a punch and kicking combo that sent him into the air.

"What are you still doing here?" Gohan yelled over to Darien.

"From the looks of it, it seems that I'm saving you from the agony of listening to crazy rantings at the moment. I can't stand it when he does that." He continued to give Gohan a nonchalant stare as Gohan approached him.

"We had a deal." Gohan said angrily.

"I have other priorities to attend to here. She's safest the sooner he is gone. Besides, it looks like I was right to not trust this to you. You might not be losing, but you aren't winning here."

"Where is she?" Gohan asked still annoyed.

"I could tell you," Darien threw a blast to deflect the one Diamond threw their way. "Or would could just finish this fight first."

Gohan didn't like it, but he knew deep down that he was going to need help, and now might be the only chance they have to defeat him.

Darien took his silence as agreement and charged up to Super Saiyain status. The two stood back to back and ready to fight. Diamond stood in front of them with a smirk.

"Now the real fun begins," Diamond said with an evil grin.
