Naruto grinned as he walked into the living room, it was his first day of school.'The first time I've ever actually been in a school' and with that thought his grin slowly slid off his face, 'How dose school work? What if I don't do well?' as these thoughts of failure run about his mind making him wish he could just run, whither away from Gibbs so he would never have to go or to hide in his room he wasn't sure. Sighing he slowly walked over to the backpack Gibbs had bought him and whent though it one more time checking he had all his notebooks and pencils Abby and Tim said he'll need.

"Hey bud, ready to go?" Gibbs asked when he walked into the room, Getting a small nod from Naruto, "Hey, your worred?" Gibbs asked reviving anoither nod in return, sighing Gibbs ran a hand though Narutos hair, "Don't be, you'll do fine, make loads of friends and all that, okay?"

"Yeah, boss I know, it's just I've never been to school, what if I. I don't know mess up or something?" Naruto asked stareing at his feet.

"You won't schools pretty easy, you show up lesson to the lessons and then at recess you talk to other kids and play around. Sometimes there's test and work but your a smart kid and the teacher will help you with questions on how to take them if you can't figure it out." Gibbs said kneeling in front of Naruto before pulling him into a hug, "Now come on or you'll be late." He said walking to his truck guiding Naruto with a hand on his shoulder.

Naruto smiled looking out of the trucks window as they parked in front of the school.

"Bye, Dad!" Gibbs smiled at Naruto as he turned in his seat to give him a hug,

"What no longer nervous?" Gibbs asked.

"Well I am, but also excited, ya know." Naruto grinned getting out of the car and waving goodbye he started off for classroom 7.

Entering the classroom Naruto took a moment to look around at his classmates seeing the boy he meant at the park last week he smiled so wide it looked as if it'll split his face in half. Noah smiled and waved "Hey Naruto. You didn't tell me you'll be in this class!" He yelled and raced up to Naruto giving him a high five.

"Ya well you didn't either." Naruto said grinning at him wider if possible.

"Anyway this is Gara my best friend, Gara say hi." Noah said pointing to a boy with dark red hair and black circles around his blue-green eyes and a red scar on his forehead,

"Hello, I am Gara" He said in a voice that sounded as if he swallowed gravel.

"I'm Naruto."

"Yes Noah has told me about you, I hope we'll be friends." Gara said with a small smile as Naruto grinned,

"So do I. You se pretty cool so far."

"Okay class take your seats!" the Teacher yelled as he walked into the room, " today we have a new student His names Naruto. Naruto please come up front to introduce yourself."

Naruto walked up to the front of the class as asked. "What do you want me to say?" He questioned nervously rubbing the back of his head.

"Your name, a cool fact about yourself and what you'll like to do in your off time, here I'll go first then you, okay? I'm Mr. Iruka a cool fact about me is that I'm a volunteer for a children's charity and when I have time off I like to camp. Now you" Mr. Iruka said with a smile toward Naruto

"Okay, I'm Naruto... Gibbs um I'm adopted by my father since last week and in my off time I like to spend time with the bosses team." Naruto said

"very good Naruto you may take the empty seat by Gara, Gara will you please raise your hand." Naruto walked to the seat next to Gara setting his stuff down.

"Whose the boss and his team?" Gara asked.

"My.. Uh father is boss and the team is like family." Naruto said with a large smile at finally having people to call family and a place to belong.
