RWBY: Studies XII
Notes and Disclaimers: Oh hey guys! I think this is one of the more serious chapters, this is where things start getting hasty and well… guess you guys have to find out soon, but yeah I'm going have to add a few side OC's in my story, I can't find a suitable character that exists ATM in the world of RWBY to play this role. But anyhow guys enjoy the chapter and I know there may be a few errors here and there but just point them out and I'll do my part next chapter. ~I do not own RWBY
Chapter XII – The Returning Snow Angel P2
"UNACCEPTABLE! THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!" Weiss' dad yelled, Weiss fell silent and Ruby cowered behind Weiss. "Weiss, I will not allow this, you are my daughter and my heiress." Weiss' dad sighed as he finished, something was off about him though. Because Ruby thought Weiss' dad was an angry old rich man but he looked no older than 40 and he wasn't all that intimidating but he is one of the most powerful men amongst this planet, which made Ruby slightly intimidated by his presents.
Weiss' moment of shock passed and now she had to decide, would she defy her own father or risk losing Ruby, well that question was pretty easy to answer. "Father please, I love Ruby with all my heart and she loves me in return, please take a moment to understand…" Weiss pleaded in hopes that her father would understand.
Weiss' father stoped in his tracks for a moment as he thought about what his daughter just said, he sighed and nodded, even though how much he wanted to refuse this proposal of his daughter and this girl being together, he still loves Weiss and he knew that's what his wife would have wanted. "Weiss, I… alright, very well but you two will stay for dinner, I wish to learn more about you Ruby."
Weiss and Ruby both let out a sigh of relief as they heard that, at least they can relax in the main time but Ruby was slightly confused, Weiss had always spoken about her father in a negative way and that he's the one that murdered his own wife, but from what just happen… it's actually pretty hard to accept that he murdered his own wife, maybe there's more behind the Schnee family that Ruby hadn't heard about.
"Thank you dad for understanding…" Weiss didn't really want to stay over for dinner but she didn't have a choice, this was for Ruby and Weiss knew that she had to convince her father. "Com'on Ruby lets head to my room." Weiss gestured and Ruby just quietly followed behind.
Ruby quickly followed but she also noticed that the mysterious man just looked at her and grinned but she decided not to look at him for much longer and broke her eye contact with him. "God that guy freaks me out… But I don't know I feel as if I met him before… dunno where though."
"Must be one of my dad's employees or probably his body guard, I don't know Ruby… my dad just didn't feel like himself…" Weiss had no idea who that man was but she just quietly led Ruby into her room.
To say Ruby wasn't wowing at all Weiss' room would be an understatement, her jaw was literally on the ground as she saw how big Weiss' room was, it's bigger than the two living rooms combined, there was a glass piano in the corner next to the window, a TV surrounded with two white sofa's a coffee table in the middle and a king sized bed… there was so much in Weiss' room that Ruby could only dream about having.
"Hello…? Hey snap out of it will you!" Weiss took Ruby by the shoulders and shook her to reality.
"Oh! Sorry Weiss!"
"You dunce, you were standing there looking around for like 5 minutes ignoring everything I was saying…" Weiss sighed and just collapsed on her bed. "I miss you…" Weiss mutters as she lays there in bed.
"Sorry Weiss, just sightseeing, that's all."
Weiss remembers what it was like living here, it was always so lonely, nothing to do, no one to talk to and nothing to work towards. "Well, like I was saying, before dinner, you're going to change into something more… formal. Well, let's start by picking out a dress…" Weiss just rummages through her wardrobe till she came across this red and black dress which suited Ruby nicely. "Hm, I think this might suit you."
"Oh… I like it! Can I wear my cloak with it?" Ruby asked.
"No, I don't think my dad would find that respectful."
Ruby didn't feel secure without her cloak, "Awh, but why?" Ruby whined.
"No whining, just leave it here," Weiss remembered how much that cloak meant to Ruby and decided it was best if she keeps it in Weiss' safe. "In that safe over there…" Weiss continued.
Ruby skipped over towards the safe but she needed Weiss' password for it… feeling lucky, she enters her own name in; 'Ruby' and speak of the devil, it depressurised and unlocked. Without saying anything, Ruby just placed her goods including her cloak in there.
"Wait… how did you…?" Weiss started.
"Lucky guess… and you're so sweet Weiss, that's why I love you…" Ruby just reminded Weiss about the incident involving red sap.
Weiss' cheeks went slightly pink as she was reminded of the incident involving the sap, 'Ugh Ruby you got it all over me!" Weiss snapped but Ruby kept on giggling and began licking the sap off Weiss. That moment played in Weiss' head for a moment as she just face palmed. "You're so indecent… but I like it when you are… You're my little red indecent dolt…" Weiss mutters quietly.
"What was that?" Ruby asked, she didn't catch on to what Weiss said.
"Oh nothing…" Weiss just continues with what she was doing in till she was done, both girls were ready to present themselves to Weiss' dad, but not before checking out each other. Weiss' eyes skimmed over Ruby's features, she looked stunning in that dress and perfect in Weiss' eyes. "Ruby, this may not sound like me but if this house were made of ice, I'd think you be too hot for it."
Looking over at her partner and checking her out, Ruby could also agree that Weiss is the most beautiful woman she had ever met. "Well if you think I am, than you would set the world on fire… damn you look hot in that outfit…"
Both girls giggled at one another's comment, they both made their way to the main dinning all, Ruby couldn't tell which halls led into what… this house was a maze to her but Weiss knew her way around, the house was still humming with life with servants, maids and of course cooks.
Eventually both Ruby and Weiss made it to the dining hall, Ruby was taken away at how much food was before them, there were only three of them and all this food would feed a whole village… but both Ruby and Weiss took their respected seats before Weiss' father.
At first it was awfully silent and awkward well, that was till Mr Schnee broke the silence with a question aimed towards Ruby, "So Ruby, how long have you known my daughter and how long have you been together?" he asks.
Ruby quietly mutters her answers but was rewarded with an elbow from Weiss signalling for her to speak up. "Um… Well, I've known your daughter for a while now; it's been eight or nine months? But I've been dating your daughter for little over four months now." Ruby explained.
Mr Schnee sips his wine as he eyes Ruby, "I see, well seeing as you are with my daughter in a relationship, I am not sure if I entirely approve." Weiss was about to say something but her father stopped her. "But, I do care for my daughter and if love is what she seeks than that is for her to decide, but remember this. Dare hurt my daughter and I will make sure you suffer a hundred times worse and if I ever hear you break my daughter's heart without a neutral agreement… than I'll personally leave you heartless and make sure your body is never found. Am I clear?" Ruby just gulps and nods. "Good, welcome to the family Ms Rose."
Back at beacon, team RWBY dorm room: Yang Xiao Long – Pressing concerns…
Yang franticly looks around for both her little sister and Weiss, but she was getting nowhere, Blake was half asleep and curled up on her bed. "Where could Ruby be?" Yang gripes, "Blake you know where the snow angel and Ruby are?" Yang asks.
Blake just rolls over and looks at her girlfriend with her sleepy kitty face, "They said they would back by now… I think they said something about meeting Weiss' dad? I dunno, I was half asleep…" Blake nonchalantly says.
Yang picked up the nearest object which turned out to be a book and tossed it onto Blake, Yang just hopes it gets the lazy cat out of bed, also how was she so calm about this, "How come you didn't tell me earlier?!"
Blake just groans as she tried her best to get back to sleep, "I was tired… and it's not a big deal… they'll be back soon… now let me get back to sleep…"
Yang sighs; she guessed that both Weiss and Ruby were sleeping over, so that meant that it left both Blake and Yang alone… "Fine… but I'm feeling cold…" Yang just claps and turns off the lights, she quickly lifted the blanket and snuck underneath them.
Blake giggled, but she knew that Yang wanted a reason to snuggle her favourite kitty cat, "Yang Xiao Long feeling cold? Now that's something that does not compute." Blake commented.
"Just shut up and let me cuddle you…"
"How about I start biting you?" Blake added in.
"How about I hug you?" Blake remembered the last hug she shared with Yang… never again.
"Fine, you win… but no super tight cuddles, I prefer to wake up tomorrow…" before Blake finished her sentence, Yang had already fallen asleep and the best thing was… Blake wasn't choking in her grasp, but moving a little proved near fatal as when she moved Yang's hands, they instantly tightened. "Goodnight Yang." Blake quietly whispers.
Back to the Schnee Residence, dinner: Ruby Rose – Seal of approval…
Ruby got up and made her way towards Mr Schnee, she was about to shake his hand till one of the cooks got out a high caliber pistol and aimed Mr Schnee up, Ruby instinctively dashed forward but she was too slow, instead she ended up taking a round straight to the chest which left Mr Schnee in a world of shock but other than that he was fine, but the mysterious man ended up shooting the assassin. But Ruby was hit, how bad the damage was, was unknown but Weiss ran over to where Ruby.
Weiss' mind instantly filled with fear, "RUBY!" Weiss cried as she watched Ruby take the bullet for her father. Weiss held Ruby' hand as she applied pressure to where the round had hit and fortunately for Ruby the round went straight though her but she's bleeding out quickly. "Ruby… why…?" Weiss' eyes filled with tears as she held Ruby's hand but Ruby just smiled to her as she laid there.
"Weiss… Weiss… don't cry… I'll be fine… I… I-ah… Pro…mise…" Ruby weakly said, she wiped away Weiss' tears with her other hand but with her last words, she finally gave in to the pain and passed out.
Weiss, still terrified about what just happened, "Ruby!? Ruby wake up! No, no, no… Ruby please! Don't leave me! Please wake up…" Weiss cried.
Weiss stayed there for a few more moments till eventually 4 family nurses arrived and carried Ruby off to the infirmary within the house and Weiss followed behind them with Mr Schnee following closely.
Author Notes: Yay, another chapter done… can't wait to work on the other ones after this and for clarification, there are mystery's that are yet to be uncovered in the future… stay tuned. ^_^
