The weeks slowly turned to months, which seemed like an eternity to Ben. Summer was still laid on the hospital bed, completely out of it, she hadn't stirred or moved one bit.

The wires hooked up to her still monitored her body, luckily everything was still normal.

Ania seemed to slowly bounce back, going on a rampage, once fully healed, about how Jayden and Team Black would pay for what they had done. Kate seemed to bounce back quicker than Ania, who still had the moments where she was depressed and sad over things that had happened. She helped around the Pokemon Centre and Keith was happy to see his best friend back to normal.

Sven and Wendy had been ordered by the Union to travel around the Region and try to find anything they could on Team Black. They returned a week ago with no new information; Team Black seemed to have just disappeared.

Keith would work the front desk of the Poke Centre, often talking to a wide variety of trainers and asking how their adventures were going. Girls sometimes swooned while others ignored him, Kate laughed in amusement at his reaction for both of these things. If they ignored him he was dumbfounded, if they flirted with him he was dumbfounded. There was no winning with him!

As for Ben, well, hardly anyone had seen him in the months that had passed. He kept himself to himself, but everyone could see he was slowly becoming his old self. Though the doubt of Summer never waking was always whispering in his mind.

He would have random mood swings, he would be happy then one moment he would walk to Summer's room, shut the door and sit next to her, talking to her and trying to get her to wake up.

One time, when Ben was holding her hand, he spoke about the time they had beaten the Pinchers, how he lost his memory, but also how he knew he couldn't let her fight alone. He swore he felt her squeeze his hand, but when he looked at her, she was motionless still.

Two months had passed by and even the Union was in more worry than they should have been. Rythmi was happy her friends were okay, but sad that Summer was in a coma, Isaac was the same.

Rythmi had tried her hardest to decipher more plans and where Team Black would attack next in order to try and achieve their goal, but she had come up empty handed.

Isaac aided her in her mission to find information, he searched the libraries day and night, scanning and reading every book he could find on legendry pokemon, but he too came up empty handed.

Rythmi was upset about being unable to find any information where Team Black may strike next, however, she did have some information on Rayquaza and Deoxys, which she knew Ania would find interesting.

Ania sat with a peach and lemon smoothie in her hands, she slowly slipped the drink, admiring the soothing taste of the peach, but also the tangy taste of the lemon.

Kate sat across from her, a strawberry smoothie in her hands. Neither spoke, both sat in silence, until Ania decided to break it.

"Two months," the two words brought Kate from her own thoughts and she soon turned serious.

"I know, hopefully Team Black will attack soon, if not, then I don't know what'll happen," she replied.

"It'll drive me insane, that's what!" Ania all but yelled, passers-by looked at the girl as she gripped her glass and gritted her teeth. "They don't deserve to live, not after what they've done to Summer and they don't deserve to try to bring the legendries around," she hissed, Kate did and said nothing, but placed her hand atop Ania's.

The girl slowly calmed down, breathing heavily. Ever since she had healed and the reality of what had happened to Summer really hit her, she had been having mood swings, much like Ben, but only angrier.

A beeping noise took Ania's attention away from her thoughts as her styler lit up. She flipped it over and looked at the screen.

"Morning, Ania, how are you?" Rythmi asked from the other end of the call. Ania smiled, she knew the blonde would worry if she saw Ania frowning over Summer again.

"Morning, Ryth, I'm fine, how's everyone else?" she asked in reply.

"They're fine, we're trying our hardest to look for Team Black, unfortunately we still have nothing," Rythmi frowned in reply as she looked over at Isaac in the back ground, who ran off somewhere.

"It's fine Ryth, they'll reveal themselves sooner or later, anyway, what's up?" Ania asked as she frowned slightly.

"I have some information on Rayquaza and Deoxys," Rythmi answered, Ania said nothing, waiting for the girl to continue. "When Groudon and Kyogre are awakened Rayquaza will serve as a kind of peacemaker, trying to calm the two down. However, in the past Rayquaza also had a fight with Deoxys, which they never finished. Rayquaza managed to send Deoxys into space and go into hiding, since then Deoxys has been trying to search for Rayquaza, but with no lead has ended up staying in space, waiting for it to awake," Ania thought for a second, slowly putting the pieces together in her mind.

"Where does Darkrai and Cresselia come into this?" she asked, Rythmi frowned.

"From what we know after the event with Dim Sun, which Kate and Keith stopped, both Darkrai and Cresselia have been travelling around the world, avoiding conflict with one another. Darkrai, if used by the wrong hands, can still plunge the world into darkness," she explained.

"But that would take an immense amount of power, like the Ultimate Machine that Blake had," Kate spoke up, moving her chair next to Ania's.

"Right, so, think of it this way. If Team Black, somehow managed to get their hands on Darkrai the world would be plunged into darkness," Rythmi paused, waiting for one of them to speak.

"But can't Cresselia stop it?" Kate asked, Ania's eyes widened at that moment.

"They're going to eliminate Cresselia," she whispered, Kate's expression turned from confusion to shock before she gulped.

"Exactly, get Cresselia out of the way and plunge the world into darkness. Summon Groudon and Kyogre and they'll fight to the death, without Rayquaza to stop them, due to Deoxys coming to earth to finish what they started, the world will cease to exist, unless we can stop it," Rythmi stated as she looked at the two.

"And if we can't?" Kate asked.

"Then it'll be a blood bath with humans and pokemon alike caught in the middle," Ania answered as she looked at Rythmi, her eyes becoming dark. "Thanks Ryth, call me if you find out any other news, we need to head back and tell the guys," just as Ania was about to hang up, Rythmi spoke.

"Wait," Ania stopped as she looked at the blonde. "Listen, it's been two months and we've heard nothing from Team Black, keep your eyes and ears open. If you hear anything that could relate to them in the slightest let me know, they're bound to show themselves any day now," Rythmi stated. Ania nodded once and hung up. She downed her smoothie, Kate doing the same and the two rushed off in the direction of the Pokemon Centre.

"Thank you, we hope to see you again," Ben listened to the cheerful voice of Nurse Joy; he didn't know how she did it. Everyday people came in injured and on the brink of death, yet she still managed to smile.

"What's going on in that head of yours?" Wendy asked as she walked over to the brunette, a small smile on her face, even Wendy could do it. Ben couldn't help but sigh.

"Just wondering how people do it," Wendy gave him a confused look.

"Ben, I think I should get Sven if you wanna talk about the birds and the bees," she replied as she pointed over to where Sven was, Ben blushed a scarlet red.

"No, not that, I meant how they could keep smiling even though they seemed to be surrounded by injured pokemon, people and even death," he explained, his voice was low as he hung his head.

"Because, even though people are injured, they're doing everything they can to help them and when they get better it brightens up their day," Wendy replied as she sat next to him. Ben looked at her.

"And if they don't get better?" he asked, Wendy smiled sadly.

"This is about Summer isn't it?" she asked, Ben remained silent. "Look, Ben, Summer's been one of our closest friends since she came to the Union, her personality was one of the best. I'm telling you now, she wouldn't want you frowning and being sad all the time because of her, even if she does," hesitation became evident in Wendy's voice and Ben couldn't help but shake his head.

"Don't say it," he whispered as he looked at his hands, his bangs covering his eyes. "Please don't," he whispered, Wendy looked at Ben, she smile became a frown as she saw a tear escape his eyes.

"Ben," she whispered. She placed a hand on his cheek, lifted his head forcing him to look at her and pulled him into a motherly hug. "Summer is the strongest Ranger we have, and I'm not just saying that because she kicked every one's ass when she was with Team Darkness," Wendy spoke, trying to lighten the mood.

Ben laughed slightly as he recalled the many times Summer did indeed kick his, Keith's, Kate's and everyone else's asses. He also remembered the time she had deceived him and everyone else and when she first came into the Union. He remember the anger he felt when he found out she was Oris, but it didn't matter to him now, all he wanted was his best friend back.

The doors to the Centre burst open as Ania and Kate came running in. Sven and Keith ran over to the two girls, supporting them as they tried to regain their breath.

Ben dried his eyes as he and Wendy looked at the four as they walked over. Kate pushed herself off of Keith; Ania did the same with Sven. They looked at Ben, Wendy, Sven and then Keith.

"We have a big problem," Ania stated as ushered everyone over to sit at a table.

"What's going on?" Keith asked.

"Keep quiet, let us explain and we'll answer all question at the end," Kate ordered. Ania quickly went into detail about what was going on, not allowing anyone else to speak as she gave detail about what Team Black were planning.

"They're going to do what?!" Keith hissed as he stood up, his fists pounding against the table.

"Exactly what we said, Keith," Kate answered as she glared at the boy; she was not in the mood to deal with any stupidity.

"But, how will they even find Cresselia or Darkrai?" Wendy asked, Kate frowned.

"I'm afraid that most legendries gather around the Region they can sense the most danger in," she answered.

"So it shouldn't be too hard for them," Ania added. Sven balled his fists, standing to his feet.

"We need to go around the Region again and find where they are and stop them," he growled.

"No, we don't need to stop them," Ania spoke, everyone looked at her. "We need to destroy them," she growled. The six friends looked at each other, nodding their heads.

"Where do we start?" Wendy asked as she joined her friends, standing to her feet.

Suddenly, the ground begin to shake, everyone in the Centre began to take cover, but the Rangers, being Rangers, ran outside.

"The entire city's shaking!" Ben called over the commotion of everyone in the city.

"What is it?!" Kate asked as she looked around the city, there was no way an earthquake would be this random.

A loud explosion caught everyone's ears as they turned around to look behind the centre. In the distance a large light came from the ground, beaming into the air.

"That's Celadon City!" Ania yelled as she watched the light vanish into the air.

"I take it we know where to find Team Black," Keith growled as the ground stopped shaking.

"We need to move, now!" Ania ordered as each of them caught a nearby flying pokemon. Ben hesitated to get on his.

"What about Summer?" he asked, Ania glared at him.

"Ben, I really hate saying this, but she's in a coma and is of no use to us we can't lug her around, we need to beat Team Darkness before anything else," she growled. Ben felt his heart sink, was he supposed to just leave her lying in that bed alone?

"Ben!" Kate called, he looked at her. "We will come back for her, for now, let's kick the guy's asses that put her in that bed," she winked at him.

Ben's eyes became wide as he balled his fists before nodding his head. He jumped on the Pidgeot. The group then took off into the distance they could see smoke arising from their destination.

"Time to kick some Team Black butt!" Keith called as they flew through the air.

'Summer, we will come back.'
