Watching them die,
so much worse than the first time.
Even if it's just a screen,
it's still a crime.
'Finnick's a winner',
they tell me so much,
but they don't sit here,
with that button to touch.
If I don't push it he'll die,

I'd rather be with them,

When there was still a chance,
of actually winning,
when the faces of the dead,
weren't around my head, spinning.
Because I could have saved him,
if I'd have acted faster.
Maybe I could have kept her,
from experiencing that disaster.
