The Woman in the Mirror
Chapter 12: The Wedding
Alice paced back and forth in her bedroom. In the process, she kept rubbing her hands together and sweat emerged from her face. In the morning, she had another memory and it made her heart ached. She remembered standing in front of a mirror, her back was facing against someone. Alice could see love in the her brown eyes. She even called him love. Who was that guy? The one that made her eyes shined brightly. Was he the one that had her heart before the accident? What would happen if she remember him, would her emotions fly back in.
"What if I loose the family I have gain?" She thought as she finally took a seat on the chair. Slowly, she begin to curl her hair with a curler wand. As she brush her hair, a loud knock came from the door.
"Come in." Alice said, trying to not sound so nervous. She turned off the wand and waited for the person to enter.
"I just wanted to know if you want some pancakes?" Shun said, he open the door and stood on the doorway.
"No thanks." Alice replied back," I am not hungry."
Shun entered the room and closed the door behind him.
"Is something the matter?" He asked, he walked over to Alice and put his hand on her shoulder.
"I had another memory." Alice said, as she stared at Shun thru the mirror's reflection.
"About?"
"My wedding." Shun squeezed her arm and ushered her to continue on.
"I was standing in front of a mirror, fixing my hair and watching my reflection when someone open the door. It was a male voice and he said my name."
"Were you able to see your fiancé's face?" Shun said those words slowly and carefully. Alice could see a phantom emotion on his eyes, but she wasn't good at reading feelings.
"No, I only heard his voice." Shun dropped his hand and walked over to squad in front of her.
"Alice, we will find your past." Shun confident scare her because she wasn't ready to face her past. She nodded slowly and thanked him.
Shun stood up and pressed his lips to her forehead. "Pancakes will get cold." He said before he left the room.
The black-haired was currently ironing his tux. He felt a feel of mix emotions. He wanted Alice to find her family and lived her normal life, but he was scary that he wouldn't see her again. He finished with the white shirt and move on to the black tie. The only thing Shun had certain was the fact, that whenever Alice was ready to leave, that he would have to let her go.
Last night had been wonderful. They kissed for hours until the coldness of the night begin to set in and their bodies grew cold. After they enter their house, both said good night and Alice headed to her room. Shun slept in the couch, but he dreamed of Alice. Her warm hands wrapped themselves around his neck and they begin to kiss. He was lay in the couch while she was on top of him. Her orange hair brushed his cheeks as they kiss and Shun hands gripped on her hip. Slowly, she let go of his lips and took off her shirt.
"I want you Shun." She whispered slowly into the air. Her shirt landed some where on the floor.
Shun also jump when he woke up. He looked around and noticed that no one was with him. He pressed his hand against his sweaty forehead and fall back down.
"Alice, what have you do done to me?"
As the morning came in, he couldn't stop thinking about the dream, but when he went inside Alice's room to ask about breakfast, she was thinking about her finance and it made him hit reality.
Today in breakfast, she seem distant and worry. She was passing her bites of pancakes from side to side. He knew something was wrong and it had to something with the wedding. Maybe Fabia's wedding also triggered emotions from the day she had the accident. All the emotions are playing inside her body.
Shun turn off the iron and quickly walked inside Alice's room.
"Shun-" Alice asked a bit confused. She was only dress in a single white bathrobe.
"Can you feel the emotions you had the day of your accident?" He said, his eyes were full of concern.
She swallow the lump in her throat and nodded.
"I am scare, Shun." She walked over to him and hugged the black-haired man.
"Don't be, I will be here for you." Shun replied back and pressed his lips to hers. It was a slowly kiss, but then it turn into a wild one. Alice heart was beating fast against Shun's. Her lips felt the same like in the dream.
Shun's mouth dropped to her neck as Alice arched it for more access. Their breathing increased rapidly.
The sound of the door broke their actions. Shun retreat back and Alice fix her robe.
"Yes." Shun answer the door as calmly as possible.
"Serena, wants to see you." Fabia said on the other side and then both teens heard as she left.
"I better go." Shun said, he pressed his lips to Alice's and afterward, he left the room.
The view was absolutely gorgeous. Shun looked so irrestiable with his messy hair and the manly cologne he spray-on. The black tie tucked underneath the black blazer and in front of a crispy, white shirt. His eyes were focused forward but every now and then, he would give Alice a glance.
Soon the music started playing, everyone stood up. Alice fix her dress, she wore a midnight, blue, strapless short dress. Ren was standing in the back beside his mother. Ren's family was also waiting. First Ren and his mother walked down the aisle and then Fabia emerged from the back. She looked like a princess. The upper half was cover in small white jewels, lace, with a sweetheart line and the bottom part was puffy. Her hair was up into a bun and a large veil fell from it. In her hands, she held a small red bouquet. She loop her arm around Fabia's and both walked down the aisle. As Alice walked beside Ren's brother, she noticed Katie coming in with her partner.
"Take care of my sister." Shun said, as he let go of his sister's arm. He processed to kiss her cheek and walked over to the side where Alice was standing. As he walked over, he noticed Katie standing with Hydron. Her arm looped around his. The site of Hydron made Shun blood boil.
"Are you okay?" Alice whispered quietly. Shun nodded and grabbed Alice's hand.
"Now, I am." He smiled at her and then focus on the bride and groom.
After the wedding, everyone went to the after party. Soft music was playing in the background as servants serve the hot meal. Shun, Alice, Dan, Runo and Julie were all sitting around the same table. Lobster soup and pasta salads were being served. Alice was currently eating her pasta salad while Shun was messing around with his soup.
"Wow this is good." Dan commented as he took a spoonful of soup and stuffed it in his mouth.
Fabia and Ren came over and talked with their friends.
"Enjoy the party?" Fabia asked her friends.
"Yes." Julie replied back. "Thanks for inviting us."
Shun wiped with his mouth with a clean napkin and stood up. "Can I talk with you, Fabia?" He said and waited for her response.
"Yes, come on." They walked to another part of the large area.
"What is wrong?" Fabia asked, she noticed her brother's concern face.
"Why did you invited Hydron?"
"I didn't, he is Ren's cousin." She admitted," You know I hate Hydron."
"Have you told Ren?"
"Tell me what?"
Fabia almost jump out of her skin as she heard her newly husband's voice.
"What do you have to tell me?"
"That Hydron ask me out."
