Defence Against the Dark Arts Classroom 1
Hogwarts
09.00 AM
"Good morning, everyone! I trust that each of you are well!" Professor Theodore Nott smiled cheerfully at the First Years. "Today, I will teach you the Knockback Jinx. Anyone care to tell me what it is?"
A couple of seconds later, Scorpius Malfoy raised his hand and Theo acknowledged him,
"Yes, Mr. Malfoy! Your answer…?"
"The Knockback Jinx is a jinx that can be used to physically repel an opponent, knock away an object, blast apart fragile objects and active magically charmed switches."
"Looks like his father but acts like his mother. So beautiful!" Theo thought enthusiastically before he praised Scorpius,
"Precisely, Mr. Malfoy. 10 points to Gryffindor!"
Theo whipped out his wand and asked the First Years to do the same,
"Before that, I forgot to mention something to you First Years on our first class. I always do this with your upperclassmen as well during the start of the year. It has become a…habit. This class may be Defence Against The Dark Arts but what you should know is that Dark Arts is not necessarily evil because it's dark. There are known Dark Arts user that is not evil and use it for a good cause." He paused and the students started to murmur. Theo raised his hand and they stopped talking, "Case in point, the most famous ones I can give you that you would know is the late Severus Snape and Big 7's Draco Malfoy." After he said this he looked at Scorpius who became enraptured with what he's saying.
"Added advice, do not dwell in it as the Dark Arts eats away at your soul. Severus Snape and Draco Malfoy wield it without sacrificing their soul due to their strong reason for using it." The D.A.D.A Professor warned them seriously.
Rose Weasley raised her hand asked him curiously,
"What was their strong reason, sir?"
Theo just smiled at her and said, "Love."
"On the 7th of October, the day of the anniversary event, I will ask Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter to do a demonstration duel for us. It will be a sight to see! But onwards with our class, say the incantation with me, Fli-pen-do!"

"What did she say?" Terrence Higgs raised an eyebrow at his father.
His father, Terelle Higgs, sighed in boredom.
"Your mother has been bragging about rejoining Voldemort. Or in this case his daughter. Not to mention her hints of being free soon. She's completely mental."
"Stop right there! She told you that Voldemort has a daughter?"
Terelle looked at his son confusedly and concernedly,
"Are you okay, son? You look pale. But yes, she kept ranting on and on about a Lady Augurey. When I asked what she was on about, she told me that Voldemort had a daughter with Bellatrix Lestrange and that she's leading the Death Eaters now."
"She was serious, Dad. The Big Seven informed me last night."
"…What?" Terelle paled at the statement.
"I need to go to Azkaban and see her. I need to know more about this daughter." Terrence said as he took his coat from the hanger and put it on hurriedly. "Meanwhile, find out from your sources how and when this came about, please, Dad. Absolute secrecy. We don't want panic just yet."
The Higgs patriarch nodded and stood up from the sofa as well,
"I'll send them an owl now. Remember, don't let your mother rile you up."
"I'll suck out all of the information out of her first then go ballistic at her." Terrence smirked and floo'ed to Azkaban.

Interview Room 1
12.20 PM
"Well, well, well. If it isn't my blood traitor of a son! I should've not given birth to you if I knew this is how it will turn out." Tress Higgs hissed from the other side of the glass window. "Or even married your half-blood of a father!"
"Mother, I'm here to know more about Lady Augurey." Terrence calmly said and gave her a sad smile. "I should've listened to you and not father. I should've followed the Dark Lord. I missed that chance, Mother. Could you please give me a chance to serve Lady Augurey?"
His mother smiled proudly,
"Finally, my son! You have realised the error of your ways. I will tell you everything!" Terrence nodded at her to begin her story, which she happily did. "Bellatrix Lestrange was given the honour by the Dark Lord to spend the night with him and bear him an heir. She was born in secret at Malfoy Manor in 1994. Oh, I helped her gave birth. Bellatrix and the Dark Lord including the 'elite' Death Eaters such as myself were given the pleasure to help educate her in the Dark Arts at a young age. She must be as powerful or more than her father by now. I believe she will finish what her father started. Our dream will finally come true!"
"…Mother, a question. Why do they call her…Lady Augurey?"
"Ah, the Dark Lord presented her with an Augurey or the Irish Phoenix when she reached the age of 4. He told us that it reminded him of his daughter. Because it was long believed that the mournful cry of the Augurey foretold death, and wizards would go to great lengths to avoid its nests. It is a perfect name for her. Our hope. Our bringer of death!"
"So, her goal is to purify the Wizarding World?"
"Yes" Tress dropped her voice to a whisper, "and revive the Dark Lord."
"Revive the Dark Lord? How?"
"I don't know, son. Once I get out, we can find out together." She said happily to him.
Terrence sighed and stood up from his chair,
"I must apologise, Mother. I do not mean what I say about serving Lady Augurey or have any part in her demented plan."
His mother looked at him wildly and yelled,
"HOW DARE YOU PLAYED ME? ME?"
"Mother, I think Azkaban has gotten to you in a very bad way. You couldn't even see that I'm lying to you anymore. Do you actually think I would change my allegiance that easily?"
"YOU PIECE OF HALF-BLOOD SHIT! YOU AND YOUR FATHER DO NOT DESERVE TO HAVE MY FAMILY NAME!"
"We're the same in our way of thinking, Mother. I've said this during the Second Wizarding World to you but I'll say it again. I've sworn my loyalty to the Big Seven and to my 'leader' Harry Potter. I will follow him for the rest of my life. Just like you will follow Voldemort for the rest of yours." He paused before looking back at his crazy mother one last time. "I will let Harry know that he has to move you and the other Death Eaters to another location so you can't be set free."
Terrence exited the interview room as his mother screamed crazily behind him.

1.30 PM
Harry Potter pinched the bridge of his nose in stress as Terrence finished telling him what he found out from his mother.
"You're right. I will request for the Death Eaters to be moved immediately."
"Is it ready though?" Terrence asked and Harry shook his head solemnly.
"Not quite. Draco is there now to enhance it with his own Dark Arts spells. Mr. Scamander is there with him too. It will be done by this evening."
"You're adding Magical Beasts as well?"
"We don't trust dementors. They are easily…swayed."
"So, what's guarding the prison?"
"Seven Nundus and a Sphinx. Along with a surprise…beast."
Terrence raised his eyebrow curiously at Harry's innocent smile,
"What is this surprise beast?"
"A chimaera."
"This prison is even more secure and dangerous than Azkaban or even Nurmengard. Well, the Big Seven build it." He whistled in admiration and grinned.
"I'm going to finish this paperwork so the Death Eaters can be moved tomorrow." Harry paused and looked at his right hand man seriously. "Terrence, thank you for all your help even after all these years, as my right hand man and one of my closest, trusted friend. I really appreciate it. I know it's not easy to go against your…mother."
Terrence just looked at him and smirked,
"Sappy as always, Harry. But I think I'm the one who should thank you. Now, I will have to leave you to your paperwork as I have a meeting with the other right and left hand people about how much our 'leader' needs us." He waved goodbye and exited the office as Harry shook his head in amusement at him.

Gevangenis
Tristan Da Cunha
11.00 AM
Newton Scamander looked at the seven Nundus who suddenly stood on guard when they saw him. He smiled as he saw that the Big Seven kept their promise of not stunning them to keep the Nundus in line and at how well they are taken care of. Newt would dare say that the Nundus are happy where they are –guarding the prison. He slowly raised his hands up to show that he wasn't a threat and moved closer towards them cautiously. The Nundus relaxed when they recognise and remember him as the man who saved them when they were cubs. They approached him happily then tackle him to the ground in greeting and Newt petted each one of them gently with a laugh –careful to avoid their spikes.
"Mommy's here. How are you all? Very healthy and well, I see!"
"Always a sight to see you at your element, Mr. Scamander." Draco Malfoy smiled at the famed Magizoologist. "Thank you once again for coming here."
He dusted his clothes and stood up to face the current Malfoy head of family with a friendly smile,
"I told you all to call me Newt for years now."
"Apologies, Newt." Draco smirked at him and petted the Nundu that sat in front of him. "I hope we kept our promise to you when you entrust us with the beasts residing here."
"Yes, I can see how well you've taken care of them and how happy they are here. Not to mention how tame they are with you." Newt asked curiously, "I'm very interested in seeing the Sphinx and Chimaera. Although, I'm sure they are well taken care of too if the Nundus are any indication."
"Of course, you entrust us with them." Draco bowed politely at him, which earned him a hearty pat on the back from Newt as they walked inside the ruined fortress.
At the end of the hallway, they saw the Sphinx stood in attention and immediately gave them a riddle to answer.
"Men can carry me to their grave, though I never truly die. I live in happiness, through people who know me. Some never find me, others get children from me, yet most men look for me, but instead they find someone else. What am I?"
"Love." Draco answered correctly as the Sphinx gave the two men a low bow before approaching them.
"It has been awhile, Mother. You're looking well. I'm glad!" The Sphinx smiled at Newt who nodded at her and shook her extended paw.
"I'm glad to see you are well too, Nefertiti. You seem content here. Just like the Nundus."
"Yes, Draco and the others take care of us very well. In turn for their care, as our thank you, we do our task of keeping their enemies in and keep those still free out."
"As noble as always, Nefertiti. But you are doing a good job indeed!" Newt praised as the Sphinx gave them a low bow once more before moving to the side to let them through. Draco shook her paw and muttered a gentle 'thank you' to her before walking ahead.
Newt and Draco entered the prison room with rows of cells on each side and as they walked further inside, they could hear a low growl permeating throughout the room. They saw a large figure approaching them apprehensively and both men raised their hands up in surrender.
"Typhon. Do you remember me?" Newt said as he approached slowly and the Chimaera cocked his head to the side in recognition. The Chimaera then walked up to him and bowed its head as Newt proceeded to pat him. "Good boy. You still remember, Mommy."
Newt then turned to look at Draco who patted the Chimaera after him with a satisfied smile.
"Well, the beasts are clearly happy and at home here. Thank you for taking care of them so well as you've promised. I cannot wait to tell Tina, Jacob and Queenie about them! Do come and visit us soon. The seven of you along with your family now."
"But of course. Always a pleasure to visit the Scamanders and Kowalskis."
"Another thing though, this prison of yours, will be very secure indeed. More so than Azkaban if I dare say."
"Yes, I have finished applying my own Dark Arts spells around the perimeter to secure it further. The idea is for them to be locked up here forever –until death takes them. Or if they brave enough to venture out then-"
"The beasts will maul them instead. I agree with the use of the beasts though, Draco. Dementors are easily persuaded which makes them bad guards."
"Indeed." Draco nodded with a smile, "We certainly trust the Nundus, Nefertiti and Typhon more."
"When will the prisoners be placed here?"
"Tomorrow morning as Potter informed me earlier." Draco patted Typhon and looked at him with a smirk. "You will be having guests here, Typhon. Do treat them…not nicely."
The Chimaera looked at the blonde knowingly and nodded with affirmation that it certainly won't go easy on the guests.

Gevangenis
Tristan Da Cunha
7.00 AM
"Such naiveté, Potter! No prison can hold us. Our Lady Augurey will set us free!" Walden Macnair boasted as the nine other Death Eaters nodded in agreement.
"You haven't seen this prison yet, Macnair." Harry smiled wryly as Draco and Ron led them through the thick trees. It was after a few distance that they saw a ruined fortress in the middle of the forest.
"Really? This is the prison you're so proud about. It's severely unguarded. Not even a dementor? Are you begging for us to escape?" Corban Yaxley scoffed at the trio arrogantly.
"I think you will be begging for a hundred dementors once you see what is guarding the place instead." Draco smirked confidently.
As soon as they step foot inside the cobblestone path, a growl from multiple areas around the ruined fortress could be heard. The Death Eaters saw a total of seven Nundus emerging from the forest and looked at them as though they are a piece of meat.
"Forgot to mention this, we don't stun them, so if you escape then you'll be a bowl of Nundu chow." Ron said relaxedly. "That is if you're lucky enough to pass the two other beasts we have."
"These 10 are your food, boys and girls. If they're stupid enough to escape or if someone is brave enough to come here and let them free." Draco waved at the Nundus who eyed him understandingly and bared their teeth at the Death Eaters threateningly.
Harry, Ron and Draco proceeded towards the gate of the ruined fortress with the Death Eaters in tow. They walked down the hallway when a voice stopped them on their tracks.
"Halt!" Nefertiti approached the group and sat in front of them. "A riddle for you. I move very slowly at an imperceptible rate, although I take my time, I am never late. I accompany life and survive past demise. I am viewed with esteem in many women's eyes. What am I?"
"Hair." Draco answered quickly as Nefertiti smiled broadly at the correct answer.
"Indeed, Draco. How are you today, Harry and Ron?" She gave them a respectful bow.
"We're doing good, Nefertiti! How are you?" Harry gave the Sphinx a gentle smile.
"I'm well, thank you. So, these are our guests?" Nefertiti looked at the Death Eaters seriously then gave them a cocky smile. "I can see that they already prefer Azkaban than Gevangenis. I do hope none of them faint when they see Typhon."
"I'm hoping they will though. That'll be a laugh!" Ron glanced at the Death Eaters who are getting paler by the minute as Nefertiti nodded in agreement at his statement.
"We better go and lock them up now, Nefertiti. Thank you." Harry said to her and she smiled at him before moving aside to let them through.
The trio ushered the Death Eaters inside the prison room and their complexion grew paler as they saw a Chimaera approaching them with a ferocious growl.
"Typhon! Meet your food. I mean your guests." Draco said to the Chimaera who eyed the Death Eaters aggressively yet carefully as the Big Seven trio put them in their designated cells.
"Care to retract your statement, Macnair? Azkaban might be better, yeah?" Harry smiled innocently at him.
"I dare you to escape, Yaxley. Seriously. You wouldn't even make it out of your cells. Typhon is a bloody magnificent hunter!" Ron praised the Chimaera who now sat beside him and stared at Yaxley with its teeth bared.
"How the hell did you muggleborns, half-bloods and blood traitors manage this? Our Lady Augurey will of course dominate against your disgusting beasts!"
At Tress' high-pitched scream, Typhon ran in front of her cell and tried to claw at her from the metal bars with a terrifying growl. Tress fell to the ground in shock and fear as she crawled far away from the bars to avoid the Chimaera's sharp claws.
"We take care of them, Higgs. These beasts are very clever unlike those stinking Dementors. Furthermore, they are much more trustworthy. Clearly you're delusional if you think your Lady Augurey can break you free. First, no one has survived a match against a Chimaera. Second, some of the Death Eaters are not smart or patient enough to solve a Sphinx's riddle and there is only one way to the prison room. Third, it takes almost a hundred wizards/witches to subdue one Nundu and we have seven of them around. The chances to get you out is…0.5%" Draco explained to them spitefully. "But you all will get a chance to see her though. Once we put her in her cell."
"Welcome to Gevangenis! Good luck! You will be living here for the rest of your lives after all." Ron said with a wave of goodbye and exited the room after patting Typhon, followed by Harry and Draco. The last thing the trio heard were a loud growl followed with terrified screams.
BIG SEVEN FACTS #5
Gevangenis is Afrikaans for prison and is located in the uninhibited remote island of Tristan da Cunha, which is 2,400 kilometres from the nearest continental land of South Africa. It is a secure facility liken to a ruined fortress created and fortified by the Big Seven. There are only a select few people who know of its exact location –notably their right and left hand people including the famed Magizoologist, Newton Scamander.
Gevangenis is also the only magical prison in the world to not employ Dementors to keep their prisoners in line, which is why it is commented to be the most secure and dangerous magical prison in existence –even more so than Azkaban and Nurmengard. Instead, Gevangenis employs three types of beasts that the Ministry of Magic classified as XXXX (dangerous / requires specialist knowledge / skilled wizard may handle) –the Sphinx and XXXXX (known wizard killer) –the Nundus and a Chimaera.
The first guards of Gevangenis are the Nundus, who roam the forest around the ruined fortress. The Nundu is a large East African beast that resembles a leopard. It moves silently, despite its "gigantic" size, and is considered by some to be the most dangerous creature alive. The breath of the Nundu is toxic and filled with disease so potent that it can wipe out entire villages of people. The Nundu is extremely hard to subdue, and has never been defeated by less than around one hundred wizards working together.
Newton Scamander entrusted the Big Seven with seven Nundu cubs (three females and four males), which he saved from captivity and cruel treatment. The Big Seven took care of the Nundus since they were cubs and kept an eye on them as they grow up, which earned them the trust, loyalty, respect and love from the Nundus. The environment around Gevangenis is fashioned by the Big Seven to be like the Nundus' natural habitat in East Africa and with a lot of wild animals around for them to hunt. The Nundus never strayed far from the prison and is constantly on guard for trespassers.
The second guard of Gevagenis is the Sphinx –stationed in front of the only way in and out of the prison room. The Sphinx is a magical creature native to Egypt. It has the head of human, and the body of lion. Sphinxes are capable of human speech, and are known for their love of puzzles, riddles, and enigmas. The Sphinx has been used for centuries to guard treasures and has been noted for violence when something threatens that treasure. The Big Seven named the Sphinx, Nefertiti. Newton Scamander was also the one who entrusted her to the Big Seven when she was still a cub. The Big Seven fashioned Nefertiti's domain to her liking, which makes her feel comfortable and at home.
The last guard of Gevangenis is the rare but legendary beast, the Chimaera, named Typhon. Native to Greece, Chimaeras have the head of a lion, the body of a goat and the tail of a dragon, and are some of the most vicious, and the most dangerous monsters that a witch or wizard could ever have the misfortune to come across. Draco Malfoy was the one who came across the egg being smuggled via his corporation. He took it to Newton Scamander, who later identified it as a Chimaera egg. The Big Seven with the help of Newton Scamander decided to raise the egg until it hatched and grown to a full size Chimaera, who then was given the most important responsibility of guarding the prison room. At the end of the prison room, the Big Seven built a cave for Typhon to use as its home.
"Dementors are not used in Gevangenis as they could not be trusted due to their changing allegiance to Voldemort on the Second Wizarding War. The Big Seven instead employ Nundus, Sphinx and Chimaera as their guards, which is an excellent choice. I could see after my visit that the three beasts have sworn their loyalty to the Big Seven, as they feel indebted and grateful to the famous group for taking care of them while also giving them a wonderful home. It makes me happy that the Big Seven clearly kept their promise to take care of the beasts for me. I certainly did not regret entrusting the beasts with them!" –Newton Scamander's 2011 Journal Entry
A/N : Do not worry! You're not missing any facts since I'm putting it in no particular order and this is the first fact. By the way, I've gotta say this, I just love Fantastic Beasts! I love Newt so much and of course the other characters as well, Tina, Jacob and Queenie. Not to mention the beasts! I wanted to incorporate them on my story somehow and came up with the idea above. What do you think of the three beasts guarding Gevangenis? And what do you think of Gevangenis itself? Sounds like a more terrifying prison than Azkaban and Nurmengard surely! Hope you like this chapter! The NEXT chapter will be a time skip, it will be the day of the anniversary. Also, the long awaited reunion between mother and son, finally! Review, please, so I can post it ASAP! Since I cannot wait for you all to read the action and emotional filled chapter!
Another news! I have decided on a prequel instead of a flashback since the Big Seven's past is FAAARR too long and broad. I think you'll prefer it more too. The prequel is titled Accepted and Welcomed. Check it out on my profile :) Thank you!
