Flashbacks

A few weeks past since the destruction of the Hidden Leaf. Naruto worked tirelessly to help his friends rebuild his home. No matter where he went people thanked the blond for saving them. And every time the boy would smile and humbly tell them he'd done nothing special. But under that smile and modesty Naruto continued to keep his secret.

Even after he'd promised his father to tell the Jónin about what Sai did he still hadn't told anyone. Every-time an opportunity came up Naruto found his throat would tighten and find it hard to speak. Whenever this occurred Naruto told himself, "No worries I'll tell him another time." But as the weeks went by the teenager kept making excuses to avoid the subject. "The village needs rebuilding and Tsunade's in a coma. This isn't the time to burden him with more of my mistakes." The teenager constantly told himself.

In the mean time the blond avoided all contact with Sai and stayed close to Kakashi at all times. But one evening the Jónin left for a meeting leaving him alone in the tent. That night Naruto stayed awake until both the Jónin returned.

The wood user greeted him first. "Oi have you eaten yet Naruto?" Yamato asked as he walked into the tent.

Despite the toad sage's warning Naruto still didn't want food. But no one seemed to notice when usually famished teen throw most of his meal away. With everyone working so hard he could hide it this time. Recently lying to his comrades was becoming easier. The blond forced his usual smile and answered the question. "Yes, I had a big dinner."

After saying good night to his superiors pretended to settle down for the night. The teen placed his hand under his pillow until he found the hilt of his Kunia. Ever since he'd returned from his training Naruto avoided sleeping for as long as possible to avoid more nightmares. To fool his comrades he'd simply slow his breathing down. But tonight the boy couldn't seem to keep his eye's open for more than a few minutes. The hard work and lack of sleep soon exhausted the teen to the point when the blond could no longer resist sleeping.

What felt like minutes Naruto could hear the sound birds chirping. The teen woke with a start to find his tent empty and the sun already high in the sky. Alarmed by the sight. "Crap I fell asleep all day."

As he tried to get out of bed something prevented him from doing so. He looked down only find a pair of pale arms warped around his waist.

The black-haired teen opened his eyes a little and smiled. "Don't worry, we're all alone now." He promised.

At first the blond froze when he saw the pale ninja lying next to him. "No please leave me alone." He begged.

His struggles proved useless as Sai held him close. "Aww, don't be scared." He cooed. "Why don't we finish what we started." Sai proposed as he undressed himself.

Knowing what was about to come the teen tried to run away but his body wouldn't move. "No I don't want to please go away!" He shouted.

Just before Sai could force him again a familiar voice called out to him. "Naruto, you need to wake up." The voice sound calm and gentle.

Just as he felt a little safe something shook him hard and he woke up ready to fight off the intruder until something warped around him and the same calm voice talked to him again. "Naruto it's alright. It's just me."

At last Naruto stopped moving. Once he realised it had all been a dream he noticed the thing warped around him was a Chuunin vest. Naruto looked up at and saw sliver hair, two different coloured eyes and a mask that cover half the man's face. "Kakashi-Sensei?"

Apparently his act didn't fool Kakashi, who was now trying to comfort him. Due to his past experiences the teenager recoiled from his touch. The reaction appeared to hurt Kakashi. But the Jónin persisted and pulled him on to his lap. The blond soon relaxed and couldn't resist the warmth and comfort he offered. For a couple of minutes the two Jónin helped soothe the teenager to sleep again.

Just as soon as fell asleep the nightmare began again. Only this time the pale ninja kept whispering his warning. "I'll make them disappear." When he woke up again from his second nightmare he frantically searched for the copy ninja only to find him sound asleep.

Despite the fact Naruto could hear his instructor breathing, the anxious teenager still wanted to move closer. As quietly as possible the blond crawled out of his bed and moved closer towards the Jónin. Nervously Naruto placed his head on the man's chest he didn't have to wait long to hear the sound of the copy-ninja's heartbeat. Thump-thump, thump, thump.

Somehow the steady rhythm helped Naruto relax. Not wanting to move away from his sensei he lay down beside him. "I'll just sit here for a little while." Naruto told himself. But within seconds the teenager fell asleep. If Naruto hadn't been so tired he might have noticed the of pair stunned of eyes watching him.

Yamato heard the blond wake up again and was about to call out to him when could hear Naruto getting out of his bed. Concerned the ANBU Captain watched from his bed quietly as the Genin fell asleep pressed against Kakashi's chest. Normally an experienced ninja like Kakashi would wake up if he felt so much as a rain drop touch him. The wood user anticipated the ex-ANBU to wake up and demanded answers from his student, but after a few moments noting happened. "It seems like Naruto's not the only one that's not been sleeping." The wood user said to himself.

He watched them sleep for a little long before deciding to step in when Naruto began snoring quietly. "I better put Naruto in his own bed before his snoring and restless sleeping wakes Senpai up." He told himself. The ANBU Capitan only moved his younger comrade a few inches when Naruto started panicking and crying out.

"Sensei." The blond called softly.

Even though Kakashi appeared to be sound asleep, the sharp Jónin seemed to hear his student's distressed cry. Without even opening his eyes the silver-haired man seemed to instinctively pull the Genin closer to his chest protectively. The moment Kakashi did this Naruto quickly settled down and snuggled into his teacher's embrace.

Not only did the wood user wish he'd owned a camera but His superiors actions changed Yamato's for the last couple of weeks the young blond didn't leave Kakashi's side found it annoying but now he could see just how much the teen had changed. Months earlier his superior expressed his worries about his student, At first Yamato dismissed his superiors concerns as hormones. The usually happy boy hardly smiled or even laughed anymore. Even as the teen slept Yamato could see how frightened Naruto looked.

With morning fast approaching the Jónin decided to leave the pair alone. It wasn't just his own tiredness that helped make up his mind. "They way Kakashi's holding Naruto, I get the feeling Senpia will kill me if I tried to move Naruto again."

Just a few hours later Sai sprinted towards his next location. "Finally, I've been waiting for weeks to see my little fox again." He cheered.

With Danzó now the new Hokage Sai was called back from his mission to track Kabuto. He hopped this would mean he's get to spend more time with the Kyuubi's container. But alas his new mission was to follow Naruto and report back to him everyday. For two gruelling weeks he'd been forced to watch the irresistible blond from a distance. "At least Danzó gave me a camera." He told himself. He used the camera to take photos.

By now he'd accumulated many photos but nothing quelled his need to be with Naruto. The more Naruto avoided him, Sai grew increasingly impatient so when the desperate shinobi heard about Sasuke's recent activities the teen volunteered to inform particularly ran to the tent late that morning.

Just as he was about to walk into the tent his sharp eyes noticed Kakashi ideally reading his book. But what interested Sai more was the second body beside the copy-ninja. There lying under the covers with the Jónin lay Naruto. Watched the scene with disgust. The way the Jónin had his arm looped around the teen protectively and every once in a while Naruto would snuggle into the man's waist. "What the fuck is he doing!" He'd been trying for months to touch Naruto without success, and yet the blond allowed his sensei to cuddle him.

In the past Sai would get angry and would want pull Naruto away. But this time he stopped and tool out his camera. "This is the perfect evidence I need." He took the snap excited to show his evidence to Danzó.

Moments later the blond began to stir until he woke up. The first thing Naruto did was apologise to the Jónin for sleeping next to him.

Sai grit his teeth at the apology. "You will be sorry when I'm finished with you." He thought to himself. Sai wished Danzó would hurry and take Naruto away. He couldn't stop himself from smiling at thought of Kakashi and Naruto being pulled apart.

The happy thought vaporised when Kakashi started asked Naruto questions. "Last night you said I weren't dreaming about Pain. So what are you dreaming about?" The man asked calmly.

A bead of sweat worked its way down the pale ninja's face as he waited for the teenager to answer.

Naruto stopped getting dressed and wondered what he should do. It had been weeks and he still hadn't told his sensei the truth. "I guess I should tell him now." He thought. "In my dream.."

Before Naruto could say another word the ROOT charged into the tent.

Just as Sai predicted Naruto was more than happy to talk to him.

What he didn't foresee was the jinchūriki willing to sell out Sasuke to two cloud ninja. As the two cloud ninja lead Naruto into the forest Sai followed close behind eager to know if Naruto would really sell out the Uchiha. But he didn't.

He just stood and watched as the girl beat the blond on the floor with no resistance. The cloud ninja punched the boy again and again without mercy. As an official member of Team 7 Sai was obligated to intervene and help his comrade. But to Sai's surprise, he found himself enjoying watching Naruto suffer. "After today Danzó will surly have enough proof to confine Naruto to the village."

When he felt satisfied with the beating Sai finally acted. Once the three left the pale shinboi helped Naruto to his feet. Even that seemed to hurt. "He looks really tired perhaps he sustained a concision." Naruto drowsy and unable to fight back. Although the shinboi knew his plan was risky, But the thought of a weakened Naruto was just too enticing. Instead of helping the injured teen back to the village Sai carefully lowered Naruto to the ground.

"What are you doing?" Naruto groaned.

The teen didn't answer instead he carefully examined the damage. "They really beat you up didn't they?" Sai pointed out as he reached out to touch a bruise, but yet again the blond pulled away.

Infuriated by yet another rejection, the pale teenager punched Naruto in the face. "You still won't let me touch you, and yet you crawled into Kakashi's bed like some cheap whore."He raged. "Do you get hard when he cuddles you? Maybe you'd prefer it if your Sensei was the one kissing you." He spat venomously.

Sai's suggestion that he was attracted to his teacher angered the teen. "No! Kakashi-Sensei would never do the things you do." Naruto denied.

"That's strange, Iruka seems to believe me." He pointed out.

Once his team-mate mentioned the academy instructor, Naruto froze with fear. "What did you say to him?"

Now that he'd got Naruto's fully attention Sai couldn't wait to see the look on his face. "Well you see I went to see you at your home and Iruka was there. After I apologised for my behaviour we started talking. Iruka seemed so concerned about you. So I told him what I'd noticed. I went on to describe how Kakashi treats you differently. For example the way he touches you, I told him all about the cuddles, how you slept together just those little things that anyone might think as strange."

The way Sai descried his relationship with the Jónin to Iruka sounded awfully familiar. "No that's what your like. Kakashi wouldn't touch me like that!"

"It wasn't hard to convince Iruka. Of course the best part was when I added the little details about his close relationship with Sasuke. For instance the way he allowed the Uchiha to bully and degrade you in front of everyone. A good decent teacher would have at least scolded the Uchiha brat."

As Sai described how he manipulated the academy instructor Naruto couldn't help but feel his older comrade wanted something. For months his team-mate had stalked him. "What exactly do you want from me?" He asked at last.

The question seemed to please Sai. "I'm glad you asked, but since you're too stupid to understand the longer answer, I'll try to keep it simple. Danzó-Sama plans to revive the foundation. With the power of the Kyuubi under his control Kohana will become unstoppable. Criminals like Sasuke wouldn't stand a chance."

The idea of working under Danzó and being used didn't like the idea of the nine-tails being used as a weapon to protect the village. "Your bosses idea of protecting the village is wrong. The nine-tails can't be ordered around like a dog. Besides Sasuke isn't the real enemy. There's someone far more dangerous a masked man is the real leader behind the Akatsuki. He was also the one behind the nine-tails rampage all those years ago." He revealed.

"How interesting I'm sure Danzó-Samma will appreciate this information. But I doubt it will help appease the villagers anger towards you."

"They're not angry with me. Everyone's been nice to me."

"You don't honestly believe them do you?" The teen asked pretending to sound surprised. "It's all an act. I don't blame them, after the way you let the nine-tails hate consume you so easily it's a wonder that they let you stay in the village. They all smile and ask for your autograph but Whenever the second you turn your back they start gossiping and burn the paper you signed. Everyone's just trying to keep you sweet in-case you lose it again. I'm surprised everyone's kept the act up for so long."

Desperate to explain his actions were different from before Naruto went on describe the battle. "You weren't here when it happened. Pain killed Kakashi and then hurt Hinata." The blonde pointed out.

His reasons didn't seem satisfy Sai. "Is that the excuse your using this time?" He questioned. "I think Sasuke was a better one."

"You should here the way you cry out at night. I bet you can't stop dreaming about me. Nw that I mention it maybe you should take a nap. I'll watch over you." Sai promised.

Naruto knew he shouldn't sleep. Not when he was injured and far from the village. Sai didn't seem worried that anyone could see them together and confidently leaned in and kissed his fore head. Dark spots began to dance across his vision. He didn't want to but he felt so sleepy. As he drifted in and out the teen could faintly feel the pale ninja kissing him. He tried to pull away but Sai easily pined him to the floor.

"Sleep." Sai urged.

The word startled Naruto so badly he shot awake just as Sai was about to remove his orange jacket.

"Oh my god he was just about to..." Pushing the disturbing idea out of his head Naruto needed to get back to Kohana and tell his sensei about his team-mate. "I've been so warped up with my own problems I've haven't even told Kakashi about Sasuke." He needed to think of a way to save his friend "Wait a minute, If all the Kage's need gather for this summit then that mean the Raikage will be there too. If I asked him then maybe he could forgive Sasuke for his crimes."

With renewed hope the teen stood up and walked back home.

As Sai lead the boy it was clear he had a concussion and was finding it difficult to remember where he was going. Taking advantage of his condition Sai carefully led him towards his own tent. "If I can get Naruto to my tent then I doubt he'll be able to move." The very idea of Naruto in his bed made the ninja walk home faster. Once inside he'd find away to prevent Naruto from struggling this time. But before they got there the copy ninja appeared out of nowhere.

The injured boy fell into the Jónin's arms thankful that his teacher showed up just in time, preventing Sai from doing something awful.

The day went from bad to worse. From going to the land of Iron to beg for Sasuke's life Sakura lying to him and trying to stop his teacher from killing Sasuke. It looked like nothing was going to go right for the young teen. He'd thankfully saved Kakashi and Sakura from his team-mate's wrath.

But now Naruto found himself inside Danzó's office alone to face the consequences.

It never occurred to the blond just how lucky he'd been in the past. Every-time he'd messed up or spoken out the third had always been patient and understanding while the Fifth would just shout at him. The blond was rarely punished for his outbursts. Kakashi and Yamato told him countless times he'd been lucky to get off so lightly. It was only now that he realised he'd taken Tsunade's leniency for granted.

The way Danzó circled him not taking his eye off him for a second made Naruto feel like being stalked by a blood thirsty predator ready to pounce on it pray. Even after he told the man about Sasuke it didn't seem to help at all. It took forever for the man to say a word but when he did. "So, Sasuke s being controlled. And the real enemy is the masked man who now calls himself Madarda. Interesting I'll need to consider this more..."

"Yes and there's more..." Before he could finish the sentence a hand slapped him across the face. Earlier that day Kakashi slapped him. But he understood that the Jónin was only concerned for his safety. But Danzó's slap hurt much more he could particularly feel the anger behind it.

"I don't want to hear another word from you." Danzó scowled. "Because of your irresponsible actions I now will need to contact the Raikage and you will be made to apologise to him at once. I can't believe a leaf ninja begging for the life of a criminal." As he ranted the former council member paced the room.

The blond wondered if he explained that he'd acted to protect the leaf the perhaps the elder would understand. "But I was just trying to.." like before he was silenced by another slap.

The man did not take kindly to the interruption. "Is this how you address your superiors. If you had been under my command from the start you wouldn't dare answer me back like this. I can ensure you I'm nothing like Tsuande I'll make sure your punished for this. By the time I'm finished with you. You'll never do anything like this again."

Learning from his previous mistake Naruto only nodded.

Danzó turned his back on the teen and just stared at his desk. "Perhaps I'm being too harsh on you. Maybe this is all part of Kakashi's plan to over throw me and become Hokage." He suggested. "It wouldn't surprise me that lazy basterd's been after my place for years."

It was one thing for Danzó to threaten him, but when the elder began to insult his teacher the blond forgot his place again. "Don't you dare talk about my dad like that!" Naruto roared. The teen gasped when he realised what he'd said.

Unfortunately for the orange-clad Danzó noticed as well. "You insolent little brat! How dare you speak to your Hokage like this..." The man had been so excited by the outburst it took him a moment for him notice. "So you consider Kakashi like a father do you? Well isn't this interesting." The man wanted to crush the boy's hope once and for all. "Did you know that the third Hokage offered Kakashi the chance to adopt you when your parents died. But Kakashi turned him down without hesitation. He didn't want you then and never will. He even tried to refuse to be your Sensei."

Finally everything made sense. For the last couple of months his teacher started acting strangely. All those times his teacher . "He really did want to protect me. Kakashi-Sensei I'm so sorry I didn't notice sooner." He couldn't stop crying.

The blond's crying didn't go unnoticed. "You do you see now one will ever really love a demon you. Especially a self-centred man like Kakashi."

This time without hesitation Naruto defended his teacher. "I thought I told you not to talk about my dad like that." This time Naruto didn't care if he was punished.

So many questions came to the elder. "How can you still think of Kakashi as your father? Haven't you listened to a word I said? How can you not hate the man who turned his back on you all those years?" The blond's reaction wasn't what he'd expected. The elder thought the ussally hotheaded teen would resent his sensei. But as he looked deep into the boy's eyes he saw nothing but a burning fire within them.

The blond shook his head defiantly at the questions. "There's no way I can be mad at him. I'm so happy to know that he nearly was my dad. It means that last couple of months haven't been inside my head. Because you told me the truth I finally know that Kakashi-Sensei cares about me." He finished.

"You are a disgrace." Then man shouted.

With renewed confidence Naruto stood up to face the man. "I'm not the disgrace you are! You don't deserve to be a Hokage. I hope the elders see sense and appoint Kakashi Hokage because he's twice the man you'll ever be. At least he's not afraid to die for the village."

"Silence!" The man roared. If there was one thing Danzó would allow was a teenager giving him a lecture. The boy's remark reminded him so much like the moment the second asked one of his team to act as a decoy. Back then he'd hesitated resulting in his rival becoming Hokage instead.

The booming voice didn't faze the teen in the slightest. "You think I'm scared of a coward like you."

Danzó hadn't felt this angry in years. Usually he could easily control of his emotions, but after losing to Sasuke and barely escaping with his life the exhausted man had little patience. With lightning speed Danzó grabbed the teen by his neck and for the briefest moment the elder blacked out. The next thing Danzó saw Naruto lying on the floor with a pool of blood under his head.

The elder turned to one of the loyal ANBU standing by. "What just happened?"

"You grabbed the jinchūriki and slammed his head into your desk." The ANBU considered his answer an understatement. "He's lucky. Danzó-Samma fully intended to kill him but for some reason he changed his mind at the last moment. Even after facing a powerful opponent and losing his arm Danzó still as strong as ever."

As the ANBU explained Danzó placed his fingers on the boys jugular. The shinboi soon felt a pulse. It wouldn't do well if the boy died. With Naruto now knocked out Danzó tried to think of what to do next, his plan wasn't going to work now.

As he stood up Sai entered the room. "I heard Naruto giving you trouble." The boy mentioned calmly. He quickly noticed his little fox lying on the floor but was more concerned about Danzó.

As Sai knelt down beside the fallen teen. He didn't even ask what happened or even seem concerned for the boy's health. "It's just as I suspected. Sai's only lusting after the boy and holds no affection for him."

"We'll need to think of a new plan. I never thought breaking this boy would be so difficult." The man scoffed.

Eager to help the pale shinboi considered another idea. For a while Sai couldn't think of anything but then he remembered the sight of Naruto cowering on the floor completely confused gave Sai an idea. He turned to his exasperated leader to share his plan. "Do you remember how it reacted after are little experiment?" He mentioned keeping in mind not to mention Naruto's name..

As much as Danzó liked the result he couldn't see how that would help them now. "Unfortunately, I can't use the Sharingan for at least a day. And this is no time for an experiment."

The pale ninja shook his head. "You miss understand me Danzo-Samma, I think I know how to break it."

The last thing the blond man remembered was Danzó squeezing his neck before slamming his head into the desk hard. He blinked a couple of times t clear his vision. Once his eyes adjusted to the dim light the teen noticed he was still inside the Hokage's office. But this time he found himself lying face down His arms were in front of him and tightly bound with rope. The first thing he felt was a shooting pain in his head he could feel the blood oozing out the cut. He went to touch his sore head but the ropes prevented his hands from moving. Alarmed Naruto tugged hard trying to free himself.

Someone seemed to notice he'd woken up. "Your finally awake." A voice called.

"What's going on?" He tried to sound tough but his voice came out groggy.

The cracked voice told Sai that although his comrade was awake he still wasn't fully recovered. "Aww, you sound so cute when you've just woken up." The shinboi cooed as he gently ran his pale hand through Naruto's hair.

When Sai touched the bump the pain in his head got even worse. It might have just been the headache but the teen swore the way Sai touched him felt different, as he stared into the once dark and vacant eyes, now he could see lust that resided in them, and it concerned him. Afraid of what about to come Naruto tried to pull away from him but the restraints only cut into his skin.

"The more you struggle the harder this will be."

He'd could hear the malice in the boys tone that he was planning something. "There going to do something I know it. I need to call for help." He began screaming for help. "Help someone please help me!" Naruto's cries only caused Sai to smile.

"Scream all you like no one will hear you. Danzó kindly put up a barrier so nothing will disturb us this time." He promised.

Sai got up and circled at Naruto's orange outfit with a critical expression. Finally the ninja shook his head "This will never do. I'm going to need to deal with this first." He informed as he pulled out a kuina from his back pocket and smiled down at the blond teenager.

"He's going to kill me." In fear for his life the tried again without success to break the ropes.

"You need to stay still my little fox, I don't want to cut you." Sai warned gently. He carefully used the knife to cut off his team-mate's jacket and t-shirt While he did this Sai couldn't remember a time he'd felt so empowered. When he'd finished Sai discarded the ruined garment into the corner of the room. He repeated the processes with the rest of Naruto's cloths.

No longer dressed Naruto felt so exposed and vulnerable.

"You look even more stunning when your naked." He ran his hands down his tanned flesh. The warmth surprised Sai. "Amazing, with a body like this I can't understand how Sasuke managed to resist the power of kistune. It's been torture for me to keep my hands off you for just a few months. I bet it was hell on earth of Sasuke."

"Just let me go you sick bastered!" The boy screamed.

Slowly and carefully the ROOT slowly removed his own cloths.

For the second time that day Naruto begged for mercy. "Please, Sai stop this now. I'm really sorry for everything I've done please just let me go!" It was a long shot, but maybe it might work. "Please, I've never done anything before." He admitted timidly

For an instant his comrade stopped then started chuckling. "You can't expect me to believe you're a virgin. You showed a lot of experience last time." He pointed out.

After waiting for months to get to this moment the excited teen had no intention of stopping. All that waiting didn't matter anymore. For the first time in the ROOT ninja's life he wasn't restricted by the rules he'd followed since he was a child. The young man could unleash that energy he'd contained for so long. Even though Danzó couldn't use his Sharingan the ropes would be more than enough to keep Naruto in place.

He began with kissing and sucking the blond's neck until he left marks. Working his way down familiarizing himself with the well toned body.

The whole time the blond stayed still. When the kissing eventually stopped Naruto hoped that this would be the end of it. But his hopes were dashed when he could feel something hard pressed against his leg.

Then Sai grabbed the boy by his hips and positioned himself. "Don't feel bad it's my first time too. The books I've read say I should prepare you first. But I don't think I could resist that long." Before Naruto could say anything Sai thrust his throbbing member into Naruto's entrance.

What followed was the worst experience of Naruto's young life. His body felt like it been ripped in two. He screamed so loud he couldn't believe no one could hear him.

"So tight, it looks like you really are a virgin. Well was." Sai didn't move for a moment and just took a moment to enjoy how good it felt. "Just relax and it wont hurt as much."

Sai didn't even wait for him to get used to the feeling and began moving almost immediately. Every thrust caused the blond agony. He could feel the warm blood running down his legs. He just wanted it to be over quickly. The blond screamed for help but no matter how loud he was no one came. It seemed like forever until Sai finally climaxed slumped on top of him.

Danzó walked into the room a few seconds later. The results were better than he'd hopped. the jinchūriki spirit looked broken. "I'm impressed." He stated. "Perhaps he should have done this sooner." Danzó proposed.

The blond lying on the table barely heard the conversation. To Naruto's relief he could feel himself losing conciseness again. Weather the sudden urge was due to the concussion or what Sai just did the blond didn't care. Instead of fighting it the young shinboi allowed the warm darkness to wash over him like a blanket.

To Naruto's surprise he felt warm and comfortable. With horror when he realised he was warped in Sai's arms. "Maybe it was all a dream." He hoped. But Just as Naruto predicted the pain hit him as soon as he tried to move. "It really happened. They actually."

The cry of pain woke his attacker up. The pale ninja smiled at him and pulled the smaller body closer. "I know your body feels a little sore now, but I promise the next time will be easier."

At this Naruto jumped out the bed and ran for the door only to find it locked. With no way out and his pain getting worse the longer he stood the teen slumped to the floor.

Sai got out of bed and tried to coax his comrade back into his arms. "It's very late my little fox. Please come back to bed try to get some sleep."

As soon as Sai tried warped his arms around the boy, Naruto started screaming and crawled on the floor until he was on the other side of the room.

The shinobi hadn't expected this type of reaction. "Aww, there's no need to fear me. You'll feel better once you've slept." He promised.

With his throat still raw, Naruto kept his voice low as possible. "I don't want to sleep, I want to see Kakashi." Overcome with terror the blond couldn't stop his body from shaking or the hot tears falling.

After the blond passed out Sai thought Naruto wouldn't be able to move let alone scream. Feeling too exhausted to deal with his team-mate's behaviour he pulled out a box and popped two out of the sliver packet. "Danzó gave me these special pills just in-case you woke up anxious. They'll calm you down and help you sleep better." The teen promised.

The very idea of taking pills that would make him sleep terrified the blond. He slapped the tablets out of Sai's hand. "I won't take anything you give to me! I just want Kakashi-Sensei!" He wailed. Naruto yearned to see the lazy instructor and just wrap his arms around the Jónin and explain everything.

Sai massaged his temples as he tried to think of a way to stop Naruto screaming. He wasn't worried about anyone hearing the screams and coming to investigate. Danzó was kind enough to give them a newly built house to stay they didn't have many neighbours and they were all his superiors personal ANBU.

Suddenly the door unlocked and creaked open. "Are you having trouble." A voice called.

The shinboi bowed his head to greet his superior. "Danzó-Samma, Naruto just woke up he won't stop screaming. I tried to get him to take the pills but he won't.." Sai stopped talking when he noticed Danzó was more focused on the boy in the corner.

Naruto didn't seem to notice the door open or even hear the elder talking. The only thing the two men could make out through the sobbing was, "I..want sniff..Kakas..Sensei!"

The elder's face wrinkled with disgust by the sobbing wreck. "You're a pitiful excuse of a shinobi." The man scolded. "If your ancestors could see the way your overreacting because a silly thing like this. Your tears alone are in violation of the shinobi code number 25."

Naruto didn't seem to care and continued to repeat the same sentence. "I...don't care about some stupid rules I just...want..Sensei."

The man turned his back."I'm wasting my time explaining this to you. I highly doubt you even know any of the shinobi rules do you?" He asked.

"Perhaps you should know the truth about the great Kakashi." The man announced taking out a few documents marked classified. "Did you know his mother died when he was very young and father committed suicide. Kakashi was the one that found his body." He pointed out.

"That's awful." Naruto said sadly.

"Yes, he's lost a lot of people in his short life. " "Even his team-mates."

"What?" Now that he thought about it he'd never asked about his teacher's own team.

"Why don't we start with Uchiha Obito?" The man started. "During the third Shinobi war Kakashi's team were assigned a crucial mission to destroy an important bridge. At the time he'd just been promoted to Jónin both Minato leader of the squad. Obito was an Uchiha but didn't posses the talent that Sasuke did. But Minato's wasn't there at the time so we only have Kakashi's version of events. But I believe that Kakashi saw this as an opportunity to wash away his families past and as the boy lay dying beneath the rocks Kakashi stole his comrades Sharingan to replace his missing eye."

After spending countless missions with his Sensei for many years Naruto easily dismissed Danzó's allegation. "Your lying. Kakashi-Sensei would never abandon his comrades. And he'd never steal his friend's eye just to rebuild his reputation."

For once he'd expected this type of reaction. "Your loyalty is impressive. Tell me, you've seen Kakashi's Mangekyo Sharingan?"

Naruto nodded at the question.

"So I'm sure you know that you can only awaken the powerful ocular if you kill your best friend." Danzó stated.

After Sasuke tried to kill him at the valley he knew this was true.

There was just one more person left and the elder was looking forward to revealing his secret weapon. "Have you ever wondered who Kakashi killed to obtain the Mangekyo Sharingan?"

"Her Name was Rin if she hadn't died I'm certain he would have surpassed Tsunade. Like you she didn't believe the rumours ether. Until the day the hidden mist kidnapped her and forced her to become the three tails jinchūriki. Kakashi helped her escape, but on the way back she revealed what the ninja's true intention was. What happens next is unclear. He claims that the girl jumped into the path of his attack." Just like before the man changed a few details before adding his own version of events. "But I think the poor girl begged Kakashi to help her, but when she told him what happened all Kakashi could saw was a demon locked inside her. It was also a convenient excuse to awaken his eye."

Before the blond could argue again the senior presented him with gruesome images of a young girl's bloodied corpse. The shocked boy eyes focused on the familiar injury in the middle of her chest. Naruto had seen too many people die from the chidori not to notice the distinctive mark. Seeing all the blood on his Sensei's hand. "No he wouldn't he couldn't."

"There's no point denying the truth anymore. Kakashi would love nothing more than to kill the very demon the murdered his beloved Sensei." He finished.

"No..he wouldn't..he couldn't.." He stuttered. As much as he tried to deny it but he couldn't stop staring at the picture of the girl.

When Naruto let his guard down Danzó harshly grabbed the boys face and forced him to open his mouth. Quickly he shoved two pills into his mouth and ordered his weapon to swallow. "Now take your medicine like a good boy." Danzó ordered.

Just to make sure the tablets worked Danzó held on to Naruto until the pills took effect. Within a few minutes Naruto finally stopped crying and seemed a lot calmer than before. "Do you feel tired?" He asked.

The jinchūriki nodded slowly. "Alright, I want you to sleep and when you wake up I expect you to behave yourself." The man warned.

Sai carefully carried Naruto and placed him on the bed.

Once they were sure Naruto was asleep the two men talked about their plan. "Those pills I gave you should keep him in check when I'm not around. Make sure he takes them every few hours. They'll should also make it more compliant if you feel the need to entertain yourself again. But don't get reckless, my office was a mess the last time."

When Naruto awoke the next morning only to be met with Sai's angry gaze. Naruto's body still felt very sore and walking wasn't easy. His wrists were also bruised from the ropes cutting into his flesh. It was only when Sai removed the sheets did see what had angered Sai so much.

Last night the youth had dreamt about being trapped in a cave with his teacher running towards him armed with a full powered chidori. He begged for forgiveness, but it only seemed to anger Kakashi even more. Just as the man went to deliver the kill blow he'd woken up.

Once again he'd wet the bed. "I'm sorry I had a bed dream and.."

But the bad-tempered teenager didn't let him finish. "Wetting yourself like some three-year old child because of a nightmare." The boy hissed, as he put the ruined covers off into the laundry basket.

While he helped make the bed the blond glanced at the room trying to work out the best way to escape and find help. He already guessed the had been locked again. The windows seemed like the best option.

As an experienced ninja Sai quickly noticed the blond looking around the room. "In-case you were thinking of escaping, the doors and windows are locked. I'll tell you this once if you misbehave or do anything I consider unacceptable you'll be punished. And if you ever wet the bed again you'll regret it." He warned.

The two didn't speak again until breakfast. The pale ninja pulled out a book and explained what it was for. "While we wait for Danzó's orders I've been asked to start your education. For the next week Danzó-Samma wants you to learn the shinboi code. So during breakfast I'll read them to you and I want you to re-site them." He explained.

"Shinobi rule number 1: A Shinobi is merely tool to his village and must serve his or her village. 2:" Sai began.

As Sai went on Naruto sat at the table barely listening to Sai. All the poor boy could think about was yesterday. No matter how hard he tried the blond couldn't understand his team-mate's motives. "Why did he do that to me?" Naruto asked himself. It wasn't just that troubled him. What Danzó revealed about his Sensei upset him more. It wasn't the deaths of the Jonin's team-mates that shocked him the most. "Kakashi-Sensei grew up without a family. He found his father's body too." He remembered that Sasuke also suffered the same fate. "Maybe that's why he said he was more like Sasuke."

His train of thought was interrupted by Sai calling his name. "Naruto repeat the rules I just read out." The boy ordered.

"Erm, Shinboi's tools should be sharpened at all times." The blue eyed-boy guessed

Infuriated by the answer Sai slammed the book on the table.

Like the previous months the teenager would hardly touched the meal. "Aren't you hungry?"

"No, not really." Naruto answered.

"Eat a little more." He encouraged as he pressed the spoon gently against his mouth. When he refused again the pale boy lost his temper. "Not only are you ignoring me but you're ungrateful as well! I think you need reminding." He suggested as he lifted Naruto off the chair and walked towards the bed.

"No not again." He begged. The blond trashed as Sai forced him on to the bed. "No please I'll listen!" The youth promised as he tried get free.

Fate appeared to have a cruel sense of humour because the very next day Tsunade came out of her coma. That morning Sai appeared very anxious. The first thing he gave him the pills and strict instructions. "Don't talk to anyone and stay under the covers." After last night Sai didn't need to warn the blond what would happen to him if he disobeyed.

A few moments later Tsunade, Kakashi, Yamato and Sakura walked into the house closely followed by Danzó.

Too afraid of the pair Naruto did everything Sai asked. The blonde barely said a word to anyone and took care not to let them see his bruised wrists. He stayed quite and didn't look at anyone while they spoke. When his teacher tried to touch him the blond cowered under the blankets. To his relief they didn't stay long.

Shortly after his friend's left Sai returned to the house and praised him for being so good.

For those two weeks Sai kept his word and continued to educate and drug Naruto. Instead of forcing the pills down Naruto's throat the clever teenager laced all of Naruto's meals with the tablets. Just as Danzó said Naruto stopped arguing and did all his tasks without complaint. But what the ROOT ninja enjoyed most was the control he had over the defenceless blond. Even when Naruto behaved Sai found something he could use as an excuse to punish Naruto. Sai now only needed to use the lightest of touches to pin Naruto's weak arms with his body weight.

From the blond's perspective his days went by in a blur. No sooner did he start feeling more alert someone pressed a glass against his lips and encouraged him to drink, feeling thirsty he drank without question. Minutes later the cycle began again and he'd drift in an out of sleep. When this happened a dark figure would lead him to the bed. He could never really his the boy face but he knew who the features belonged to. The teen couldn't do anything when he felt his captor undressing him and touching his now very sore body. No matter how hard the teenager tried to push the body off but his feeble attempts were nothing to the much stronger attacker.

"Shh, don't bother." The voice commanded.

When he stopped struggling the shadowy figure started kissing his neck and running his hands down his naked body. Then pain would start again sometimes he'd pass out before the pain started.

It seemed like this routine would continue forever Until one day something strange happened. It started slowly but soon Naruto started thinking more clearly. Not only that Sai's painful punishments suddenly stopped allowing his body to heal a little but recently he didn't seem to be healing very well.

His awareness didn't go unnoticed but unlike the last few days Sai seemed to allow this to happen. "Naruto are you awake?" He asked softly.

"Yeah." The blond called finally able to speak.

The pale ninja helped him sit up. Naruto seemed able move around unaided he gave the teen his orders. "Good, get dressed I've brought all your cloths here. then we'll eat breakfast. Tsunade-Samma wants to see you." He explained.

As slowly Naruto began to dress himself he failed to notice how much weight he'd lost. The only thing that struck as odd was how tired he felt. Even though his mind finally felt clearer Naruto still felt drowsy. "Why do I still feel sleepy?" He yawned.

The pale teen didn't look up from his meal as answered. "I only halved the dose to make you more presentable for the Hokage, but you still need to take them. They'll help you relax stop feeling anxious."

As much as Naruto detested taking the medication. While the pills left him feeling weak they not only stopped the nightmares but the fear he'd felt for so long seemed dull. "Ok, why does Tsunade-Samma want to see me?"

"To give team-7 a new mission." Sai answered.

As soon as they finished breakfast the pair walked towards their destination in silence. As they walked Naruto did everything Sai ordered. He even managed to greet Kakashi and Sakura. For a moment Naruto felt like he could get through the day without provoking Sai.

But once they went inside the office. The room looked completely normal and bared no sign of the events that happened a few weeks ago. Sadly all Naruto saw was Danzó yelling at him. When Tsuande started giving them the details, but Naruto found it impossible to concentrate. Hopping to calm his nerves the teenager tried to avoid looking at the deck. Flashes of the moment kept hitting him it was like he could feel his body tearing, smell his team-mate's sweaty body, hear Danzó and the other ANBU laughing at him again. Sweat started pouring down his face and the poor blond felt like he couldn't breathe. "I need to get out of this room."

As soon as the fifth dismissed them Naruto practically bolted out the room.

Sai soon caught up with him and pressed him for answers. "What happened?" The pale shinobi demanded.

To avoid another punishment Naruto quickly answered the question."I'm sorry, but I couldn't stay in that room. That's were you first..." he hesitated unable to say the words.

He watched as the answer seemed to make Sai smile. "This is no time to remember the where we first made love." He said softly gently moving a stray hair from the blond's sticky forehead. "You need to try harder next time." He warned.

"I know but it's so hard when.." Naruto paused when he saw Sakura watching them.

No matter how much it broke his heart Naruto cut ties with Sakura. "It's the only way I can protect her." He told himself.

The journey home was slow but As soon as he stepped inside Sai forced him on to the bed and pressed him for answers. "What did you say to Sakura?" He interrogated. The last thing he wanted was the pair becoming close again. The whole time he'd been waiting for his jinchūriki to return the possessive thoughts wouldn't stop. "No one else can have Naruto."

The boy's eye's went wide with fear, he'd never seen the pale teen so angry. "Nothing, I swear I told her to go away she doesn't know anything I promise."

Although not a skilled liar himself the ROOT ninja could tell when somebody was being deceptive. With his anger appeased Sai let go of Naruto's wrists and handed Naruto a glass of water. "Drink this. I've already prepared your lunch. So you wont miss the next dose." He informed.

After being on the pills for two weeks the blond knew what to expect. The first dose would make him very drowsy and he'd sleep for a few hours. But if he took another afterwards he'd start feeling foggy again. "But If I take these now and while I'm on the mission I'll fall asleep. It'll put Kakashi-Sensei and the rest of the team lives in danger."

The very mention of the copy-ninja's name instantly triggered Sai's rage. "I thought I told you not to mention that man's name in my house?" He reprimanded. "And don't worry if you fall asleep it will only strengthen Danzó's case to get you removed from Team seven sooner!"

"Now drink up." He encouraged pressing the glass to his mouth. Yet again he started dozing off. But Sai wasn't cross he helped the teen on to the bed and covered him over in the sheets. "Get some rest I'll wake you when it's time to leave." Sai's promise only worried the teen.

The mission started without any problems at first and looked like it would stay that way. Until they stopped for the night. When Kakashi replaced his sandwiches with ramen Naruto knew it would anger Sai. But after weeks of being starved on healthy food he couldn't resist his favourite meal. As he ate his meal the Jónin encouraged him to talk to Sakura just as he was about to talk some more Sai showed up.

He knew Sai wouldn't want him to talk to the Jónin. But even after Danzó told the youth about the copy-ninja's team-mate's Naruto still couldn't believe the Jónin would ever harm anyone if anything his respect for his teacher grew. "If Kakashi-Sensei can be strong after what he's been through then so can I." He told himself.

Then that evening when he found the pair together Sakura suddenly became tired. "How dare he drug Sakura-Chan like this." For the moment Naruto was able to control his anger while he helped Sakura back to camp and offered to take her place.

As quickly as possible Naruto returned to confront Sai. But this time Sai seemed to have moved further into the forest. There was no way the pale shinboi could watch the camp effectively. "That's strange, why would he move even further into the forest?" He asked himself.

He didn't get the chance to work out why because he'd finally found his target. He didn't bother to explain that he'd taken Sakura's place and wanted. "What did you do to Sakura-Chan?" Naruto demanded.

The aggressive tone didn't seem to faze Sai at all. "I'm afraid I accidentally gave her the wrong canteen, which sadly contained a small dose of your medication." He went on to explain further. "I couldn't remember which canteen belonged to you, so I put a dose in all of them just to make sure."

"You did what!" The boy screamed. His team-mate had just drugged his whole team. What if they were attacked "How could you do that to them?" He asked distraught that because of Sai's reckless actions his whole team were vulnerable. "I did everything you asked. What did I do wrong?" The blond protested.

With a wave of his hand Sai dismissed Naruto concerns. "Don't worry, I have an ink clone watching over the camp. And as for my reasons I thought you seemed very friendly with Yamato and Kakashi. What were you talking about?" The way the question was asked told Naruto that he'd somehow displeased Sai again.

Naruto hopped that if he could convince Sai he'd misunderstood the situation then, perhaps Sai wouldn't do anything else. "Nothing, Kakashi just gave me some ramen that's all." He explained.

Unfortunately Sai wasn't happy with his answer. "You should have refused!" He scolded.

Desperate to calm the teen down Naruto set about apologising. "I'm sorry please forgive me. I wasn't going to tell them anything."

But Sai didn't seem interested by his apology. "They should all be asleep by now. I can just picture them all lying together completely unaware of their surroundings. Kakashi and Yamato sitting next to each other. Sakura curled up in her sleeping bag. It's so dangerous for anyone especially a ninja to sleep so deeply. They don't even know my ink clone is near by."

The tone Sai was using unsettled the Genin. "No please leave them alone."

"Don't fret I doubt they won't feel it when I press the blade against their necks. Or even scream when I slit their throats."

The ANBU's threat against his friends lives terrified him. He got on his knees and pleaded with the teen to spear the rest of his team. "No, I'll do anything you ask just call off the clone. You can just kill me instead." The blond begged unaware all of it was a lie.

Sai hadn't summoned a clone so there was no threat to anyone but Sai still scoffed at his pleas. "You're not even worth killing."

The blond knew what Sai wanted to hear, but the second he said the words his life would be over. But with his friends lives at stake his own welfare didn't matter anymore. "I'll join you! just please don't hurt them!" He shouted.

For a moment Naruto wondered if Sai even heard him. "What did you just say?" The pale ninja asked.

Naruto swallowed hard before he repeated his offer. "I said I'll join you and Danzó-Samma."

The boy sat down. "I'm sure you understand when I say that I can't I trust your word? I need proof of your loyalty" He pointed out.

After spending months Naruto knew exactly what his older team-mate wanted from him. "So that's why you moved away from the camp." Instinct practically screaming at him to run back to camp but he feared for his friends safety too much to risk there lives. "I'll take the pills and you can do what ever you want." To the jinchūriki dismay Sai didn't seem completely satisfied by the offer.

"Personally I'm getting tired of using pills. They just don't have the same effect as the first time. You don't scream as much."

Naruto took a moment to think about Sai's demands. "If I let him punish me here I'll be too sore. I won't be much use to anyone." He almost backed out until the teenager remembered his teachers first lesson with the bells. "If I don't do this, I'll be abandoning my comrades." After what seemed like forever the blond sighed in defeat. "Ok, I'll do it."

The pale ninjas didn't waste time and pushed on to the ground. Sai quickly stripped the teen out of his cloths. The forest floor felt cold against his naked flesh. He almost panicked when something warped around his wrists. He looked up only to see the black snakes belonged to Sai.

As if reading his mind Sai answered the question. "Just in case you change your mind." With his hands tightly bound by the ink snakes the blond didn't resist.

Like always Sai started off kissing but soon he began thrusting hard. Once again the blonde let out a painful scream which delighted Sai. "That's it scream for me." The aroused teen rasped.

No matter how much hurt Naruto was willing to take any pain for his friends.

Once the attack finished Sai pulled Naruto into his arms. He couldn't hide his elation, finally Naruto would be his. Of course the jinchūriki would always be Danzó's weapon. "The first thing I we'll to do is get rid of that horrible jumpsuit of yours." Before another idea came to him. "Oh, I was thinking that people will start to wonder why we're getting so close. Perhaps you should consider tell people your gay." He proposed.

But Naruto didn't answer, his mind was on other things. Unlike all the previous this times he'd actually allowed his team-mate to do as he pleased. The blond felt disgusted with himself but at the same time he felt like he'd done the right thing. "A Shinobi's duty is to make sacrifices and protects his friends from the shadows."

For once Sai didn't scold him for ignoring a question. "I'll let you think about it." After Sai stood up and helped Naruto get dressed. "Now its time to take your medicine. Make sure you drink the all the water. I've doubled the dose so they should keep you under the whole night." Sai ordered pulling out a water canteen. "I wouldn't want you to have nightmares or accidents."

Without fuss Naruto drank the bitter-tasting water until the canteen was empty. As he limped back towards camp the teenager started feeling very drowsy. "This isn't right I feel strange." Very few steps the teenager stumbled. Half way back the blond almost collapsed. Thankfully Sai caught Naruto and tried to steady him but it was clear he was losing conciousness.

Feeling just as tired Sai started to regret giving him more pills. "If he passes out before we get back they might suspect something." Thankfully Sai somehow managed to drag Naruto's heavy body back to camp where he was greeted by a very concerned Kakashi.

The copy ninja darted over. "What's wrong?" The Jónin asked practically pulling Naruto out of his arms. But for once Sai didn't mind. He just wanted to go to bed and sleep.

As soon as Naruto heard there voices he felt the pain in his back and legs dull a little. "It sounds like they're all alive thank goodness." He said to himself. As slowly as possible Naruto lowered himself into his sleeping bag he couldn't stop himself from wincing attracting his teacher's attention.

"Are you hurt?" The man asked.

Not wanting to worry his teacher the blond tried to reassure his comrade's. "I'm fine Sensei. It's just a stomach ache." He started shivering again the blond still felt cold from lying on the forest floor. He couldn't make out who it was but someone placed an extra blanket over his shivering frame. For a moment Naruto considered moving away. but he just wanted to spend one more night with the people he wanted to protect.

The pills worked a little too well. His dreams didn't make sense For some reason Sakura and Kakashi swapped bodies, the kyuubi was chewing on his bones while Yamato tried to play fetch with him. Someone kept calling his name but he couldn't make sense of their voice. Then Sai appeared out of no-where this time he grabbed the weapon and slashed at his face.

But it wasn't Sai the bloodied face belonged to, it was Sakura.

Overcome by shock Naruto leaned against the tree horrified that he'd hurt one of his closest friends. No amount of apologising could make up for this type of mistake.

While Kakashi and Yamato tended to Sakura's injuries, Sai sat in front of the blond. As he leaned in he could tell that the drugs were still in his system. "I bet Kakashi and Yamato will take you somewhere quite. Yamato will use his wood jutsu to restrain you then when you least expect it your beloved Sensei will slowly his hand through your chest. Just like he killed Rin." He whispered.

In a second the blond pushed past the pale shinobi and charged into the forest. He needed to get away. "I'll run away where they can't find me."
