Blaine pulled up to Kurt's house, he was about to get out of the car when he saw Kurt exit the house and run towards him.

He leaned over pushing open the door to the passenger side and Kurt jumped straight in.

"Hey," Kurt said smiling settling into his seat and pulling on his seatbelt on.

"Hey, where are we going?" He replied smiling back.

"I don't want you to freak out but my favourite clothes store is in the mall, so I thought that if we parked around the corner and I quickly ran in, is that ok? Wow that's selfish of me, sorry I asked I mean your arm though out of its sling, is still not ful-"

"Kurt stop, its fine, I'm fine. I'll try going in and if I feel uncomfortable then I'll leave and wait in the car," Blaine interrupted wanting to Kurt to stop rambling even though he thought it was adorable.

"Blaine, are you sure? I don't want to force you to do anything that you're uncomfortable with," Kurt said shuffling uncomfortably in his seat.

"You're not forcing me, I'm offering," Blaine said smiling trying to calm Kurt down a little.

"You're sure?" Kurt asked again.

"Yes, I'm sure," he replied.

"Thank you Blaine," Kurt said leaning over and grabbing his hand giving it a squeeze before letting go.

Five minutes later Blaine was driving into the car park of the mall, the mall had only shut for a day before re opening. He thought that it may be a bit soon to go back into the mall but he wanted to do this for Kurt.

They parked and then walked towards the doors to the mall, his chest tightened more and more as he took steps towards the mall making feel uncomfortable.

All he kept in his mind was that he was doing this for Kurt, to spend more time with him. To show that he cared about him.

Kurt on the other hand didn't look nervous at all but he didn't really know what was going on in his mind right now.

"Are you ready? You look a bit pale, maybe you shouldn't do this?" Kurt said touching his arm lightly.

'For Kurt, for Kurt, for Kurt'

"I'm fine, let's go," he said forcing a smile to his lip. Kurt didn't look too convinced but they started walking toward the door again.

He felt a little sick, everything about the placed screamed that it was unsafe, that the men would still be in there. He knew that his mind was wrong though, that the men had been arrested and taken away.

They reached the doors to the mall; he took a few discreet deep breaths before entering.

'For Kurt, for Kurt, for Kurt'

Everything looked the same as it had been the day that the incident happened, other than the fact that there were many people walking around as if nothing had happened a couple of days ago. New glass had been put in place to replace the barriers that he been shot out, a couple of the stores had still not opened yet but other than that still the same mall.

"Are you ok?" He heard and he just nodded as a reply, he couldn't say anything his heart was beating too fast and his mind racing too quick to make a sentence.

Kurt linked his arm with his and he started walking forward leading Blaine further into the mall, walking past the place where he had been made to kneel down with a gun pointing at his face.

Kurt stopped, turning to Blaine again.

"Blaine, I think we should leave this was a bad idea, I'm so sorry," he could see the panic in Kurt's eyes too, the feeling of being back in the mall was getting to him too.

But he still couldn't respond, his mind to fuzzy.

"Blaine? Blaine?" He heard his name.

Then he his knees were turning to jelly and he was falling, arms trying to grab him to keep him standing.

"Kurt…," was all he managed to get out before there was nothing but darkness.

…...

Blaine opened his eyes groaning a little. He could hear voices in the back ground becoming clearer. He kept his eyes closed.

"Why the hell did you take him back there after what happened?"

"I know, I was stupid but I thought that he would be fine, I didn't think this would happen. I'm such an idiot," he recognised this voice as Kurt's.

He was in a bed, that he knew but he wasn't sure where. This bed felt different to his own.

"I wouldn't say you were an idiot Kurt, but it wasn't a smart idea, the poor kid".

He could tell that it was Kurt's dad now, he remembered his voice from the hospital and when he dropped him home.

"What if he hates me for taking him in there? Dad, I like him too much for him to leave, I don't know what to do".

Blaine opened his eyes now; looking at the two people standing near the door to what he assumed was Kurt's bedroom.

"I could never hate you Kurt," Blaine said a little raspy from sleep.

Kurt turned round visibly shock at the sound of Blaine's voice.

"I'll leave you two to talk," he heard Burt say and then footsteps walking away.

"I'm so sorry Blaine; I shouldn't have made us go in there. As soon as we entered I wanted to leave, the memories of the mall and I saw that you were having trouble to but I thought they would go away, but the further we went into the mall the stronger they got and the time I realised it was too late and when you fainted…" Kurt stopped tear running down his face.

He had walked over to the bed now sitting on the edge of it. Blaine reached over grabbing his arm pulling him over and pulled him into his arms.

"I'm so sorry," Kurt sobbed into his shoulder and he felt his heart-break.

"Kurt," he said pushing him back a little so that he could look into his eyes. Taking his face in his hands he carried on talking, "Don't blame yourself for this, I knew that I should have turned and walked away before I even took a step into the mall, but I didn't and that's my problem, I'm just sorry that this happened".

"Are you ok? Do you feel ok?" Kurt asked getting up and standing by the side of the bed.

"Yeah I'm fine now, not sure if I can get up yet though" He said with a weak smile.

"That's ok, you can stay here as long as you want, do you need me to call your parents?" Kurt asked and he almost laughed.

"No that's fine," he replied patting the bed next to him. Kurt came and sat down next to him.

"I wanted to ask you something, I was going to ask you in better circumstances but I guess now is as good as any time, I like you a lot and you can obviously say no and I know that its soon but I was wondering what you thought about being my boyfriend?" Blaine said pushing himself up into the sitting position.

Kurt's eyes widened.

"Oh, did I do something wrong? It was too soon wasn't it?" Blaine rambled.

"No, Blaine, of course I will," Kurt said more tears running down his face leaning over and pulling Blaine into a kiss.

When they pulled away Blaine looked into the other boys beautiful eyes, his boyfriend. His chest tightened but this time it was with excitement.
