"I had to leave him." She said quietly, her dark eyes luminous. "Because I'm in love with you."

Six months later...

Chuck stood in front of his mirror, and straightened his tie for the 20th time. He'd had a fresh, close shave earlier in the afternoon. He'd showered, dressed in a new expertly fitted suit, and carefully styled his hair. He looked perfect. He looked ready. And if the butterflies in his gut would give it a rest he would be.

"You look nervous, dude." Nate said with a laugh from the doorway.

Chuck didn't speak but cast a narrowed glance at the golden boy who walked in and plopped himself down on the edge of Chuck's bed. Nate had moved in to Chuck's spare room for a few days... about five months ago. It was a good thing that they'd become best friends. However, given the teasing gleam in Nate's eye, Chuck was seriously reconsidering their friendship.

"No need to be scared." Nate's eyes twinkled. "Haven't you two slept together quite a bit? And just think, now that she's divorced you don't have to worry about a husband walking in on you."

Chuck's jaw twitched but he didn't speak.

"Still not talking, huh?" Nate laughed. "Wow. You must be even more nervous than I thought."

Nate got up off the bed and walked over to his friend, and patted him on the shoulder. "Chuck, don't worry. She called, she told you where to meet her... She'll be there."

Chuck gave a slight nod, still not speaking. It had been six months since he'd seen her up close and in person, and it hadn't been easy to stay away from her. The night she'd shown up at his apartment had been everything he'd wanted. She was in love with him. She wanted to be with him. The one small snag had been her insistence on getting a divorce before they got together. Fuck. But he could see where she was coming from, she wanted a clean new start for them, and he wanted that too. He wanted forever with her, and if it took waiting a few months for her divorce to go through, then that's what he'd have to do. He hadn't planned on her husband dragging his heels. But he knew that was over with now, because Blair had texted him this morning with the news that she was free.

"Yeah, the last few months have sucked for you... and you might be a little nervous but... Plus side? Maybe your case of serious blueballs will be rectified by tomorrow?"

"Nathaniel?"

"Yes, Chuck?"

"Consider yourself evicted."

In a penthouse on the Upper East Side...

Blair stood, looking perfect, and staring at herself in the mirror. Her make was exact, her dress was alluring, and her hair was pinned up. Chuck loved her neck... She was read to see him. Blair was ready for him. And while you couldn't tell from the outside... she was nervous as hell. Luckily, it didn't show.

"You look nervous." Serena chirped as she skipped into Blair's room and bounced onto the bed.

Blair didn't say anything, her face perfectly poised, and only she took note of the way she carefully swallowed. It had been six months since she'd seen him in person. He'd been on the news and her feed a few times, but she'd managed to avoid calling him. She'd meant what she'd said that night. She loved him and wanted to be with him, but she wanted to be free from Dan first. Easier said than done.

Dan had wanted her to stay. Dan had wanted counseling. And when he'd finally had it drilled into his head that their marriage was over... Dan had wanted alimony. Luckily, Blair had appeared to be unemployed at the time of their divorce. And even luckier her mother had married a very prominent divorce lawyer who had keenly navigated the whole thing, leaving them separated equally. Dan had tried to fight harder since he knew that along with her good fortune in love, Eleanor's actual fortune was back on the rise. It seemed that many of her old lines were not only back in fashion, but very much in demand.

Blair was rich again, and no one was happier about this than her... and maybe Eleanor. So while Eleanor had wanted to pay for her daughter to finally go to law school, Blair had had other ideas. She went to work for Waldorf designs. She wanted to build something.

After she left Dan, put Chuck into a holding pattern, and gotten a job, there was only one area of her life that was off base. She was homeless. That's where Serena had happily bounced in. They'd been sharing S's two bedroom penthouse for the last six months.

Blair was set... and she was ready, ready to be with the man she loved.

"Look at you, B! Hot date night! Is that why you're nervous?" Serena asked as she lay on her belly, her feet swinging in the hair. A mischievous glint came into her light eyes. "Do you think your vagina has closed up? It's been awhile since it's gotten any use."

Blair glared at her through the mirror, but still said nothing.

"Wait. I guess that's not entirely true. I've heard you through the wall." Serena blinked in fake innocence.

"Serena." Blair bit out.

"I'm just kidding!" Serena laughed as she jumped up from the bed, ran to her best friend and hugged her tight. "I'm just so happy for you two crazy kids finally really getting together!"

"We don't know what's going to happen." Blair warned.

"Sure we do." Serena deadpanned. "You two are going to bang... and then live happily ever after. Done."

Blair let herself smile, knowing her friend wasn't wrong, but still nervous. Then Blair caught sight of her hair in the mirror, and its not longer perfect condition thanks to S's hug, and her smile turned to rage. "My hair!"

One shove of her best friend, a fix of her hair, and a limo ride later...

She got to the restaurant early, and took a seat at the bar. Blair didn't furtively scan the seated patrons, searching for his face, because she knew he wasn't there. She couldn't feel him. And besides, he'd find her.

Blair could tell you the very second he came through the doors. The hair on the back of her neck stood up, sweat beaded at the base of her spine, and she feel a vibration deep in the core of her. Luckily her cool facade betrayed none of that.

As he passed by her, his shoulder skimmed her back as he came to stand at the empty barstool next to her. She held her breath and tilted her chin to look at him over her shoulder

"Is this seat taken?"

The shake of her head was nearly imperceptible, but his eyes were locked on her face, and so he saw everything. He slid into the chair, turning his body to face her. She angled towards him ever so slowly, and as if by accident, her crossed legs came to a stop between his knees, her shoe grazing his calf.

The bartender came to ask his drink order, but with one sharp amber glare he scampered away. Chuck didn't want liqueur. He only wanted her.

Blair didn't much need a drink either, but knowing she had his full attention she slowly lifted her glass to her lips, and tilted it back slowly, sipping the liquid. Her eyes never leaving his. Blair put the glass down, her tongue slowly swiping along her bottom lip, and she nearly smiled at how his gaze heated at the sight.

"Blair... Waldorf." She said formally as she held out her hand for him to shake in introduction.

He took it and they both jolted at the contact. It had been too long since they'd touched.

"I'm... Chuck Bass." He said with a sultry, dark timber that drenched her panties. He surprised her even further by twisting her hand in his so that he held her fingers and could lift her knuckles to his lips. He kissed them, and she did gasp as she felt his tongue sneak out to dart across her skin.

Her eyes were locked on his so she didn't miss the lightening fast look he shot to a hallway off to the side of the bar. She blinked. His jaw clenched. He got up from his seat and sauntered to the hallway and disappeared down it. She got up without a glance at anyone or anything around her, and followed him.

The empty hallway was lined with several doors, but only one of them was slightly ajar, and she walked to it purposefully.

He was on her before the door was even shut. His arms snaked around her torso, catching her tight to his body as he hoisted her up, her legs eagerly wrapping around his hips. The door slammed shut as their bodies catapulted into it, and her fingers found the lock a second before they found the hair at the base of his neck.

"No interruptions." She got out before his hot open mouth was on hers. His tongue rubbed against her own and she could feel it all the way down in her pussy. She moaned as she felt her body gush in response.

He ground his pelvis into her groin and the friction had her yanking her mouth away with a harsh gasp.

"Chuck!"

He spun them away from the door, his mouth feasting on her neck, and they tumbled down onto the bank seating in the private back room.

He sat back on his haunches between her spread thighs, and he looked down at her, and the lust in his eyes was ever so briefly replaced by sheer happiness at them being together again.

Blair saw it and smiled back for a split second before she lurched up, grasped the edges of his shirt and ripped it open.

"Love later." She demanded firmly. "Sex now!"

Chuck smirked, but then her hot mouth latched onto his nipple and he couldn't remember what he'd been smirking about. He just knew that they were both wearing too many clothes. His hands caught the hem of her dress, bunching it as he pulled it up and over her head. She fell back and lay against the leather in a black lingerie set and stalkings. He wanted her skin.

Blair felt his hands at the top of her bra, and he pulled it down, exposing her pouting breasts to his hot gaze. Blair felt worshiped. But she was wrong, because then his mouth found the bud of one of her breasts and she thought she felt heaven. God, he knew how to use his mouth, Blair somehow managed to think. Then his teeth gently bit her nipple and the couldn't think of anything. She could only feel. Chuck.

Chuck was out of breath as he pulled back and yanked at her stalkings, and her hands fumbled with his belt, desperate to free him. The first stalking came off easily, but as he was ripping off the second her small hand found his cock and stars flashed before his eyes. His body nearly buckled at the pleasure shooting to his groin as her hand tightened on him and worked him up and down. Sweat rolled down his back, and he could see matching perspiration covering Blair's skin. He wanted to lick it off.

Impatient now, he threw the second stalking aside as her free hand reached up and grabbed part of his ripped shirt. She pulled him down to her so she place urgent, sucking kisses on his neck as his hands worked at tearing her free of the last of the lace on her body.

It was a good thing his head was turned, or he might not have seen that one of her discarded stalkings had landed on one of the many lit candles around the room, and was now up in flames.

"Fuck!" He swore as he desperately reached to grab an open bottle of water on the low ottoman that served as a table.

"I know!" Blair panted, her legs came up and locked around his waist and pulled him to her. "I can't wait either!"

Her hands slipped around him to scrape her nails down his back, and she bit into his shoulder sharply. He almost didn't care if the whole place went up in that moment, but he managed to douse the fire just seconds before be plunged his tongue into her wanting mouth.

Blair was drenched with wanting him. It had been so long, and she had missed him so much, and now her senses were on overload with the sound, smell, and weight of him. She shifted on the seat, aligning the head of his rock hard erection to her opening, and she lifted her hips just as he plunged. She couldn't help the scream of pleasure that was torn from her in that moment as he filled and swelled inside her.

"Blair!" He choked, and she knew he felt it too. Yes, it was a powerful sexual attraction, yes it was the greatest sex of anyone's life... but it was more than that. It was them.

As he began to thrust his dick, hard and fast into her, she lost all thought, completely caught up in the building pleasure and tension. He leaned back in order to fuck her harder, and she nearly lost her mind. Then his fingers found her clit and she did lose her mind.

Her orgasm made if feel like she was coming apart, she quaked and screamed and reached up to drag him down to her, needing his weight, needing to feel his heartbeat explode as he came too.

What seemed like forever later, Chuck and Blair lay on the bank seating, Chuck on his back, and Blair draped across him, her head on his chest. He pulled his jacket more fully over her, not wanting her to get cold, and then wrapped his arms back around her.

"Oh. You lit candles?" Her fuzzy, pleasure drenched mind finally mused.

"Good of you to finally notice... since we nearly burned the place down with one of your stalkings." He chuckled and kissed the top of her head.

"I had other things on my mind." She smiled, and ground against him, her body already wanting him again.

His arms tightened on her, and she lifted her head to look down at him. She raised a brow.

"I wanted it to be perfect." He said said seriously.

"It was." Her eyes twinkled.

"That's always perfect with us." He stated what he thought was obvious. He hands let go of her and slid down her body until he found the pocket of his jacket. He pulled out a small jeweler's box.

"Is it too soon to ask you to marry me, Waldorf?

A/N-So sorry for the delay. Life was very... lively lately. There will be a small epilogue coming eventually. I promise it won't be to long a wait.
