HELLO EVERYONE, MISS ME? Wow has it really been since 2010 that I stopped writing. I'm sorry to everyone who liked my story then, I just lost interest in a lot of things. But I decided I've want to pick back up and at least finish my current stories even if they are not going in the direction that I once had them.
This chapter is going to be short, as I need to freshen up on my writing skills…that and I work now. Hopefully I can finish the story, and not leave. I promise not to do that this time around.
Chapter 12
Sakura sighed as she slowed down and looked up to the sky. She was stalling a little bit as she didn't feel like confronting Ibiki right now. She may have been a little too harsh on him, but she really hated that no one talked to her about the matter. Shouldn't she of said her piece to her parents before they killed them. Don't get her wrong she was very grateful that they are no longer in her life but still there was that part of her that still loved them. It was irrational of her to do so but she couldn't help it nor could she squish the feelings down.
Sakura stopped walking as a tear slid down her cheek, her hand came up and hurriedly wiped it away.
"You know it's not good to keep things bottled up inside too much, you need to confine in someone at least a little bit." A voice spoke up from behind her as she jumped in shock and whirled around to come face to face with Ibiki.
"I don't know what you are talking about," Sakura said defensively, as she squared her shoulders and put a smile on her face. "Though I want to apologi- -"Sakura started but was cut off by Ibiki.
"Don't kid, I understand where you were coming from. Let's just forget about it for now, okay?" Ibiki said as he stared blankly at the young girl. He really didn't want to take care of the girl even if he felt sorry for her, he had more important things to tend too but the elder's wanted to train her like him and he can't say no.
Sakura blinked up at the man, as she felt very small under his gaze and wished that he wouldn't stare at her like some insignificant bug. Ibiki sighed as he motioned for them to sit on a bench, so they can talk some more.
"Look kid, I don't want this either but we are stuck together as adoptive father and daughter," Ibiki said as the last part left a bad taste in his mouth, "I'm going to tell you this bluntly, the elders want me to train you and bring you up to be a very strong ninja. They saw potential in you and wanted you to unlock it. So they choose me, you may not like it but tough that's the way it is. You don't have to live with me but I will train you on your days off from the team. Do you understand?" Ibiki told her as he nodded to himself, he figured the girl would want blunt honesty from him as she probably didn't get much of it.
Sakura quickly stood up, her short pink hair covered her face as she took a deep breath. She turned to face Ibiki with a bright smile and with a cheery voice she told him she understood perfectly and before Ibiki could respond she abruptly made hand signs and disappeared from view.
Ibiki blinked in confusion as he suddenly felt guilty, he frowned as he tried to figure out what he said wrong. Maybe he should have said that a bit nicer but he didn't realize that Sakura didn't need another sensei to explain things. She needed someone to comfort her and maybe Ibiki would realize that one day.
Back To Sakura:
Sakura opened her eyes to see that she was safely in her room and away from that man. Sakura felt a sob tear through her throat as flung herself onto her bed. Sakura smothered her face to the pillow as tears streamed down her face and she tried to hide her sobs.
"Why couldn't I just have something for once go right for me? Now I'm stuck with a man who doesn't like me and is just there to train me. What have I done wrong that fate has to be cruel to me….why…" Sakura quietly whispered into her pillow as she cried herself to sleep that day, a feeling deep in her gut telling her that things are just going to get worst.
"Please hold on Sakura…I just know things are going to get better..please hold on.." Inner Sakura whispered in her mind, unhearing to the asleep Sakura.
