Chapter 12

Ash and the others were walking along a path to cyllage city. "Did you hear that?" Ash said. "What?" Timothy asked. But suddenly ash's stinach rumbled. "Well I guess that's what we heard!" Serena said chuckiling. Timothy froze. "Wait, now I hear something." Timothy said. Timothy suddenly jumped of the road.

A man came by in a car, next to a large bunny pokemon. "Get out of they!" He shouted. "Hey!" Ash said. "Move out the way!" Suddenly officer Jenny came from behind and chased the man. "It's officer Jenny!" Adh said. "Looks like she is chasing someone bad." Clemont said. "We'd better help her then!" Ash said.

So they ran after officer Jenny and the mystery man.

"Diggersby, use mid shot!" He shouted. The large bunny used mud shot on officer Jenny's police bike, throwing her off the road. But when diggersby used mud shot it caused the car to shake, dropping of a purple box. "Oh no! Not the treasure." He shouted.

Meanwhile the group had stopped, panting from the running. "Man, I think we lost them!" Timothy sighed. "Wait what's that!" Serena said noticing a flash. She took of down the hall and Timothy looked at flaaffy. "What do you think it is?" He asked. Flaaffy shrugged.

The others soon followed her and found a purple box. "Open it." Timothy said lightly. Ash opened the box and a small bug pokemon crawled out. "Woah, what pokemon is that?" Ash said pulling up his pokedex. It beeped and it read scatterbug. "Woah, I never seen a scatterbug before." Ash said.

It grumbled and a few particles came out of its skin. It suddenly collapsed and Timothy jumped. "We need to get it to a pokemon center right away!" He said. Ash nodded and picked scatterbug up. "Right, let's get moving."

They traveled to the nearest pokemon center and ash handed scatterbug to a wiggly tuff. "Please, heal this pokemon." Adh said. Nurse it nodded and turned to her wiggly tuff. "Alright, please heal scatterbug wigglytuff." Nurse joy said.

"Hmm, I wonder why that driver had a scatterbug." Serena said. Nurse joy turned to her. "Well, scatterbug is a unique pokemon." Nurse joy said. "Really?" Ash said.

"See, look up to the screen." Nurse joy said. Ash and the others looked up at the screen above nurse joy. "These are vivillion." Nurse joy explained. There were six different Vivillion, each with their own color.

"Scatterbug's final evolution is Vivillion, but Vivillion have their own final looks based on the place they come from." Nurse joy explained. Ash was gazing up on a pink Vivillion. "Hey, that looks like the one Viola had." Ash said.

Timothy nodded. "Are there only 6 different Vivillion?" Timothy asked. Nurse joy nodded. "Yes, but there is way much more than this." Nurse joy said. Suddenly there was three beeps and wifflytuff came out with a scatterbug on a cart.

Ash smiled and dashed to the scatterbug. "It looks like you're feeling better!" Ash said. Suddenly the pokemon center entrance door opened and a whip wrapped around ash's arm.

"What the-" ash said. Officer Jenny came through the door with a manetric. "Stop! You are under arrest for smuggling that scatterbug!" Officer Jenny shouted. "What! We didn't do anything." Ash shouted back.

"Then how did you get that scatterbug! Anyone dealing with smuggler Dan can't be a good man! You were obviously following him!" Officer Jenny said. "What! We just wanted to help!" Ash shouted. "Yea! It's true." Timothy shouted. Officer Jenny turned to him. "And why should I believe you?" Officer Jenny sneered.

Timothy made his sword and officer jenny froze. "But..." She trailed off. "It's true, we just wanted to help you." Serena said. "Yea, we wanna bust some bad guys!" Bonnie squealed. Officer Jenny then let go of the rope and walked to ash.

"I'm so sorry, my short thinking often gets to me." Officer Jenny said. "I'm so sorry." Officer Jenny said. "Man etric..." Manetric said sweat-dropping. "It's alright, let's talk for a moment." Ash said.

The group walked to a table and sat down. Officer Jenny explained everything about smuggler Dan and ash leapt to his feet. "Is there anything we can do to help?" Ash said. Scatterbug was running around in circles. "What's scatterbug doi-" ash was cut off and a blinding blue light enveloped scatterbug.

Scatterbug stopped glowing and said. "Scoopa!" "Wow... Scatterbug evolved?" Ash said. "Yes, apparently when scatterbug and scoopa run they evolve." Officer Jenny said.

"I got it!" Clemont shouted. They turned to look at him with an incredulous look. "We can disguise someone as a scoopa, let smuggler Dan capture them, and we can break the rest of the scoopa there!" He shouted with a glint to his glasses.

Officer Jenny thought for a moment then nodded. "Alright, it could work, but we need some serious tools." Officer Jenny said. "And that's where I step in!" Serena said. She pulled up a box and pulled out a cloth matching scoopa and a pair of scissors.

Serena made a suit for ash, but officer Jenny shook her head. "You seem... A little to big:" she said once ash tried to get into a box. "How about dedenne?" Bonnie said. Serena quickly made a small suit for Dedenne.

Officer Jenny winced and closed her eyes. "You might be the smallest scoopa I have ever seen." "I got an idea." Clemont said. "Let's let Chespin try." Chespin appeared and Serena made a suit.

Officer jenny nodded. "Yes, this will do great." She said. "But how will wind find them while they get taken away?" Ash said. "That's my call." Clemont said. "The future is now thanks to science!" He shouted pulling up a device.

It looked like a mechanical Pikachu. "I call this, the pokemon-far-away tracker machine!" He shouted. "Your names always surprise us." Bonnie said frowning.

"You see, if I use this chip and put it on Chespin, we can use this Pikachu to track them down." Clemont said. "Huh, that can work." Officer Jenny said. They attached the chip to Chespin and they put them both in a purple box.

"Wait, before we go, are you ready to battle?" Timothy said. "I can tell a battle might happen." Ash nodded. "Whatever is right." He said. Timothy looked at Flaaffy and nodded. "Alright let's go."

They placed a box near a tree and smuggler Dan picked it up and head to his base.

Clemont's tracker started to flash and he smiled. "Yes! The device worked! Smuggler Dan should be about west." He said. They ran to the left and the Pikachu's eyes flashed.

"Oh, I forgot to mention. When we get in a 2 mile radius the pikachu's eyes will light up and flash to the tracker." Clemont said. "Science is so amazing!" Ash said. Timothy shrugged. "It's pretty cool"

They arrived at a strange building sealed off by an electric fence. "Alright, but how do we get past." Timothy said. Suddenly the Pikachu started to flash red and it blew up.

"Well, another failed invention." Bonnie said. "Why... Why!" Clemont whined. Timothy chuckled. "At least we can get past now." Timothy said. They walked through the fence hole and his behind a rock.

Timothy noticed a window on top of the building. "I see a window, stay here while I check it out." He said. Serena, Officer Jenny, and Ash nodded. "Alright, be careful." Ash said.

"Let's go flaaffy." Timothy said. Flaaffy nodded and jumped on Timothy's shoulder. Timothy carefully climbed the wall and looked down the window. He saw a glass cage with multiple scoopa and Timothy gasped.

He saw them looking depressed and he looked at Flaaffy. Flaaffy gasped at what she saw. Timothy then noticed Smuggler Dan wasn't there. "Wait where is he!" He shouted. "Alright move along!" He heard shouting below. He tapped Flaaffy and they both saw Smuggler Dan pushing Serena to the yard.

He was about to jump down and help her when Ash then jumped in fron of Dan. "Hold it right there!" He shouted. Dan laughed. "What are you. Doing on private property." He said. "Crime investigation. Dan!" Officer Jenny said.

"Junk! Officer Jenny." He shouted. His diggersby grunted. Dan then grinned. "Diggers you use mudshot, stat!" Diggersby formed orbs of mud and threw them at the people. Ash jumped in front of Serena me was thrown back.

Timothy then jumped down and Chespin and Scoopa appeared from behind a rock. Timothy noticed and smiled. Clemont then ran to Chespin and bonnie followed. "Chesin! I'm glad you're alright!" He shouted.

Ash got up and stared at Dan. Dan grinned and opened his mouth to bark another command. Suddenly scoopa got in front on ash and started to run in circles. Blue light surrounded scoopa as it changed shape.

Once the evolution finished Dan grunted. "Hey! That was supposed to be my Vivillion!" He shouted. "Diggersby, use mud shot!" Diggersby formed orbs of mud and shot them at ash.

"Viv!" Vivillion said before creating a white dome around ash. "That vivillion' safe guard!" Clemont shouted. Vivillion then flapped its wings and orange dust surrounded Diggersby and Dan. "That's stun spore!" Serena said.

Dan fell to the ground, stunned. Officer Jenny then walked to him and sighed. "That's the end of your line Dan!" She said. She wrapped rope around his arms and put him in a side car. "Thank you guys for helping me." She said before driving off.

Ash and the others let the other scoopa out and Ash walked to them. "Alright, you're free, go enjoy life!" He said. The scoopa nodded and they all flashed blue. They all evolved into Vivillion and fluttered away.

Serena stepped to Ash. "Hey, thanks for helping me before." She said. Ash seemed to turn red. "It was nothing." He said. Serena turned away and also turned red. Timothy then stepped in.

"Alright guys, we should head to the pokemon center for the night. We did good today." Timothy said. Serena and ash exchanged glances and nodded.

They went back to the pokemon center and got a room. Timothy got on his bed and Flaaffy jumped onto his lap. Flaaffy yawned and Timothy smiled. "Tired huh?" Timothy said. Flaaffy nodded. "Alright, get some sleep, I'll be right here." He said.

Flaaffy smiled and the mark on her head glowed. Timothy's ignisia also glowed and he noticed a spark of electricity pass through Flaaffy. "Urgh, this is just like last time, I don't ever what to use that again." He muttered.

Flaaffy rested on a pillow and Timoth layed down so that he would face Flaaffy.

"Whatever the cost, I promised to never use that move!" He said to Flaaffy. Flaaffy eyes turned serious. "The whole region depends on us. Promise me we won't ever use that move. Remeber last time?" Timothy said. Flaaffy nodded and yawned again.

"Oh, I should stop bugging you, get some rest." He said. Flaaffy closed her eyes and fell asleep. Timothy could only think about the danger he could feel was coming.

Anyway, I wantyou to keep in mind that Flaaffy knows only three moves, not four.
