Chapter 12

I inspected the bag Hibari had thrown at me. It was pretty large. The front had a logo I didn't recognize. It said WEGO in bold letters. Some kind of clothing store. Maybe Kyoko let me 'borrow' more clothes. While I was grateful for the thought, I really didn't want another fiasco with the pants. Looking through the items one by one I was pleasantly surprised. It was all pretty simple and looked rather comfortable. Just my kind of apparel. Normal T-shirts and jeans.

There were five shirts, three black and two smooth light purple. The three pairs of jeans were all black, with two back pockets. Though no front pockets that was a little strange to me. No zippers either. Only one button at the top. Like slip on pants. What kind of style was that? Oh well, as I continued through the bag, the items started to worry me.

I found a bundle of bras, five in total. Simple white, Black with a red floral design, that was cute. Next a lacy nearly see-through purple. It clearly showed off the nipples. What the heck.. Next a red frilly bra with a bow tie. Last was a solid purple with yellow straps. Next panties, five pairs were here. Simple white, black with red floral, I have a bad feeling...

Yup..Lacy see through purple with a tiny crotch. Red frilly panties with a bow tie. Lastly, a solid dark purple with a yellow bird on the front. Huh, that looks like Hibird. I had to admit that it was adorable. The last items in the bag, were a one piece sleeveless nightgown of sorts. It was plain black made with a smooth, cold material. Fire-resistant? Thankfully, it reached past my knees. A small bundle of socks and slip on black flip flops. The good kind, not that annoying one with the stap between the toes.

I finally noticed all the clothes still had tags attached. These were not borrowed. These were all brand new. I was sure Kyoko didn't know about me at least not yet. So who would have bought all this? Looking at the tags, everything was the right fit for me too. Whoever did it had taken my measurements. All, of my measurments. I looked at the bras and felt my face heat up. Maybe that pervert ass doctor. Though if he, or anyone really, went to the trouble of getting me clothes. I couldn't be angry. Then I saw the receipt and paled. Those numbers can't be right! I'll never repay this debt!

My chest clenched from the thought of someone doing this for me. I chose the black floral combination and the nightgown since It was already late. Finally I started the shower and let the water wash over me. I couldn't remember my last shower, at least not a pleasant and warm one. I used Hibari's shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Not sure if he would want to bite me later for not asking first. I hadn't realized how much time had passed while letting the water cleanse me. Until there was a shrill bang on the door.

"I'll drag you out of there if you don't hurry it up." A voice threatened. I shut off the water, and told him I was finished. I quickly towel dried my hair and finished dressing. Everything fit snug and wonderfully. I used the stepstool to hang the used towel up on the rack, when the door burst open with a bang. I lost my balance and fell backwards. I found myself in his arms. He saved me from another fall, even though it wasn't much of one.

As if realizing what he had done, he made an annoyed sound in his throat and dropped me on the ground. "Why are you always throwing me around!?" I demanded. He didn't answer and walked away instead. I sighed but followed him anyway. I found him in the kitchen. He was sitting at the table, finishing a bowl of cookie crisp cereal. The scene was just so childish of him I couldn't help but smile.

"What?" He glowered.

"Nothing." I said still smiling.

The infamous Hibari Kyoya, dressed in a white T-shirt and black sweatpants. Sitting at a table, with a box of cereal and a gallon of milk beside him, while sucking on a spoon. It was too much.

"I don't cook, so find your own food." He said dully.

"Oh, so there are some things even you can't do?" I teased. He gave me his death glare. I put my hands up in surrender. "Actually that looks really good." I said quietly taking a seat. He had moved the second chair as far from himself as possible. So I was across the table from him. When my stomach growled loudly I silently hoped he couldn't hear it. I wasn't that lucky. He sighed loudly, pushing his empty bowl across the table to me. The spoon clattering against the edges.

"It's the only one, so wash it." he told me pointing to his sink with a thumb, while shoving the cereal box and milk in my direction. I was suddenly ravenous. "It's okay." I said quickly while pouring the breakfast and adding milk. I shoved the spoon into my mouth with no regard. Within seconds I was finished with the bowl, eyeing the box hungrily. "Just take it." He sounded bored. He had been watching me eat like a starving dog the whole time.

His chin was resting on his palm. His grey eyes blank and seemingly looking right through me. What kind of mood swing is this? He seems so docile compared to earlier.

I poured myself more cereal. Mindful to taste it this time. It was crunchy, with a slight grainy feel. The chocolate chips, were really delicious, even though they were artificial and not real chocolate. I felt a little overwhelmed in the moment. Tears fell from my eyes, streaking down my face. It just came out, I couldn't help it. "Thank you, It's amazing." I mumbled with the spoon still in my mouth.

"What was the last thing you ate?" The cloud guardian asked me suddenly, sounding disinterested. Twirling the spoon in my mouth, I wiped my tears and thought back. "Other than tube slop?" I said idioticly. "It was..." A memory came to me.

I was broken, bleeding and starving. Finding a dumpster. I sorted through the trash quickly and found a bag of moldy wet bread next to a decayed face with sunken eyes. I felt tears of shame streak faster down my cheeks. Looking away I said "I don't remember." My voice breaking slightly. Clearly he didn't believe that lie. Surprisingly though he changed his question slighty. Without trying to beat me up.

"Fine. When did you last eat, other than tube slop." Sarcasm lacing his voice.

"How long have I been here?" I wondered aloud. "Four days." he told me. Finished with my third bowl of cookie cereal, I placed the spoon down. I leaned back in the chair, and sighed heavily. "Then, about a week." I rounded off. Not sure if moldy bread could really count as a food source. "Your lying again." he warned me.

That stumped me. "What? I'm not!" I told him the truth, sort of. "Your condition was caused by more than one mere week." He pointed out with a considering look. I realized he was trying to get information out of me. One wrong slip and I could say too much. I was so tired.

"Look I ate what I could find okay? Anyway thank you for the clothes, They fit well." I said trying to change the subject. He stared me down for a minute then stood up, streching his arms. "Whatever, It wasn't me. Clean up that mess, and go to sleep." He replied quickly as he left and headed for his bedroom.

The skylark peeked his head back in to the kitchen. He had a look on his face I didn't understand. "By the way, as payment for allowing you to intrude into my home, I'll be biting you to death. Daily." He smirked and disappeared. Great, what did that mean? I heard the faint sound of water as he began to shower.

I did as he said and washed the dishes. I wasn't too sure where anything went. A guy like him had a place for everything. And I knew if it was in the wrong place I'd be bitten. So I searched around. After drying the bowl and spoon, I found their counterparts. A pull out drawer next to the fridge held one fork and one knife. How the heck? Didn't people sell utensils in bundles?

There were two wall cabinets, one held five tea cups, and one plate, the other empty. Who needs five cups and one of anything else? This insight into his personal life was pretty intriguing. I found myself suicidally curious. Since, if he caught me snooping around, well I knew what would happen. With his repayment method, it seemed it was already unavoidable. So there was nothing to lose.

I left the kitchen, turning off the light as I went. I felt around in the dark for a while before finding the living room. I kept fumbling around trying to find a light switch. The tiny window did nothing to help, especially since it was night outside. This would be a good time to 'flame on'. I chuckled at myself. Until I heard it in the distance, my entire body froze in horror. Thunder was approaching. Could this day get any freaking worse??

The one thing I couldn't get rid of no matter how I tried. My terror of that very sound. With every booming clap, pieces of better forgotten things flashed throughout my mind. Thunder always brought pain along with it. A dim flash came from the window illuminating the room for a moment, before falling dark again. The roaring thunder was getting closer, and closer.

I heard the sound of dragging metal taunting me. It was far too close. Approaching me faster and faster. Suddenly, I was back in the red world. That manic laughter right in my ear. A heavy hand grabbed my shoulder tightly. I didn't hesitate to spin on my heels and scratch at the evil man's face. He was caught off guard by my attack, and stepped back. I balled my fist and punched with all my strength. Hitting any part of him I could reach. He wasn't fighting back, yet.

I knew he would. He always got the better of me. He was too strong. Not this time! I will survive! He dodged my last punches with ease, grabbing my wrists in an iron vice grib. So I kicked instead. I kneed him in the stomach. He bent over from the impact, and I wrenched my hands from his grasp. I kicked his legs from underneath him and he fell back.

I tackled his shoulders to the ground, and used both my hands to grab his throat, digging my nails into his flesh as hard as I could. He was smiling at me. Taunting me like always. I screamed at him as I struggled hard against him. "Never again!" My eyes wide and teeth clenched, I squeezed tighter. "I will survive you!"

His superior smile faded, as he lifted his hands and placed them on top of mine. His lips parted as he said calmly with a voice that didn't belong to him, "You'll have to do better than that." Another flash of lightning showered the room in a dim glow. The mad man's face changed. Morphing into a mop of wet black hair, and steel eyes. "Hibari?"

The boy had a two red lined scratches on his cheek. He removed the hands from his throat with ease. Showing bloody cresent shaped marks along his neck. Not giving me a chance to come to my senses, he rolled until he was on top of me. Holding down my now limp hands. "That was interesting." He was smirking again, but his eyes said he was infuriated. He was practically sitting on my stomach. Pinning me down yet again. I lost the fight in me as soon as I saw his face.

"I'm sorry." I told him quietly while looking away. It was still too dark for me to see much. Occasional flashes of the storm outside were the only light sources. "Should I show you how it's done?" His voice barely above a whisper, his tone was ice cold. Definitely pissed.

I was unable to see his face, but I was sure it wasn't pretty at that moment.

A sharp breath left my lips as I felt his fingers lightly move down my arm. Traveling along my elbow, the sensation causing goosebumps along my skin. He rested his palm between my breasts. Not quite touching them, he applied an uncomfortable amount of pressure to my chest. It wasn't painful but it really did not feel good either. A rare flash of light lit up his face. His expression was conflicted. The skylark looked like he was fighting a battle within himself. Maybe on how to punish me exactly.

He blinked and the light was gone. I felt the pressure ease, his hand on the move again. Slowly, lightly traveling up to my neck. I felt a warm caress of his thumb against my chin as he wrapped his fingers around my throat. Just as I had done to him. "I'll have to punish you, for marking me." The cloud guardian oozed danger. My heart was pounding furiously. My skin tingling with warmth. I could feel the beast just below the surface, waiting impatiently to bare his fangs at the demon.

It seemed we both had our internal struggles. His hand was trembling. My eyes began to ache. Which could only mean I was losing my battle with the beast. His hand tightened against me little by little. I started to fight back using my free hand to push at his chest. He didn't budge at all. So I tried his face. I pushed his chin upwards. His grip softened. He moved quickly before I could react. I felt teeth clamp down hard on my fingers. "Ow! You- you bit me!?" I was too stunned to notice how much danger I was in.

Another flash showed his face. His eyes sparkled with desire. I felt unease in the pit of my stomach. His eyes, looked feral like a wild animal that got a first taste of its prey's blood. He slammed my hand to the floor, using one hand to hold both of mine. He was so strong. I couldn't even move them an inch. My survival instincts telling me I was screwed.

He leaned his face close to mine as the light disappeared again. I felt his hand tangle in my hair, wrenching my head up exposing my neck. His warm breath traveled over the sensitive skin making me shudder. His breathing was hard and uneven. What's going on?

I felt a feather light touch of his lips on my skin, before pain overloaded my senses. The prefect had his teeth deep in my neck. Breaking skin and drawing blood. A helpless whimper escaped. I heard him growl in frustration, before biting down on the other side.

I could feel his tongue on my skin, it elicited an erotic sounding moan from my lips. It was so embarassing I clamped my mouth shut and felt a hard blush on my cheeks. At least it's dark.. so he can't see it.

Light flashed against his face. He narrowed his eyes at me. Son of a bitch!

Even lightning betrays me.

His brow was furrowed and he appeared confused. His body pushed harder against me. The guardian moved his knee between my legs as he shifted his hold on my hands. With the momentary release of pressure holding me down, I tried to wiggle away. I didn't get very far.

"You'll have to do better than that." he said again. Something in his voice made my blood turn to ice. "Stop!" I cried. I fought harder. "What's wrong with you?" I asked the darkness. He refused to grace me with an answer. "Stop!" My body burst into orange fire taking form of a wolf beside me. The creature had escaped me. His flames illuminating the room allowing me to see everything. Hibari mearly glanced at it, while still bent over me.

He had a smug smile. "Finally." He remarked, watching the wolf circle around my head. It never took its predatory gaze from Hibari's face. Baring his fangs in a snarl. A warning to leave his master alone. "This is what you were after?" I asked him in disbelief.

The skylark moved away from me slowly. Standing to challenge my creation. "What more could I want?" he said victoriously. That asshole! The canine nudged at me with its nose. Are you alright? That same voice from my dream was speaking to me. Are you talking to me? I sounded dumb. It made a whining noise. I will protect you. I am Fenrir. I am your heart and you are mine.

I rubbed him gently on the head. He shoved me aside, saving me from a flying tonfa. He looked at Hibari and growled. The cloud guardian looked at Fenrir and smiled.

The two carnivores stood and faced each other.
