Natsu looked at Gray with his mouth slightly open. The guild started to rise up and cheer. Erza raised her glass and everyone looked over.
"To finding Lucy!" she yelled while they sang and danced.
Natsu face broke into a half smile as he gave a weak laugh. His laugh grew more genuine until he was bursting out with his happy grin. He stood up on a table and looked at everyone.
"I will find her! She'll be back to her home again!" he yelled holding his scarf.
Makarov stood beside him and gave the Fairy Tail sign. They rest of the guild followed. Natsu closed his eyes and saw Lucy's smiling face.
"She'll be back." he whispered smiling.
(Lucy)
Lucy looked at everyone being loud and obnoxious. Haru placed a drink beside her.
"I thought you would like this." he said sitting next to her.
She looked at him and gave a small smile. Haru was around her age and very tall. She sighed and took a long sip.
"I don't know why I'm here. I don't belong here." she said looking at him.
"What do you mean?" he said also taking a sip of his drink.
Lucy shrugged her shoulders and rubbed her temples.
"No one believes me, but I guess I can't blame them."
"Tell me." Rin said.
He sat next to Lucy and was given a drink. She gave another small smile and took a deep breath.
"I'm not from here. I...I was stabbed and then the next thing I know, I'm here. This is a different place that I've never been before. All I want to do is go back home. I wish I could have told my friends all that I needed to say...but now it's too late."
They were silent for a moment before Haru stood up. He gave her a big grin and ruffled her hair.
"You're going back there. I'll make sure of it!" he said raising his glass.
"I second that" Rin said clinking glasses.
Lucy laughed and stood up.
"Let's go get you home!" Haru exclaimed taking her arm and dragging her along.
"You remind me of one of my best friends. You remind me of someone too Rin" she stated wriggling out of his grasp.
They ran behind some stones.
"Did you tell her about the sections yet?" Rin asked Haru.
He shook his head no and Rin flicked his head.
"They sections are what divides us. Back a couple years ago we got into a war between beliefs. The people picked a section and now weren't allowed to go into the others. If we do and we're caught we get the death sentence. It's crazy, but for us it's life." Rin said staring at the guards passing by.
Lucy furrowed her eyebrows and shook her head.
"It must have been really big." she said.
"Oh, it was. The riots were so big that half the city was destroyed. Children and mothers were burned. There was so much killing. I'm glad my parents weren't around to witness the horror." Haru said looking at the stone.
"You're parents weren't around? Where we they?" she asked cocking her head to the side.
"They went on a mission when I was 11 and never came back. It's been 6 ½ years, but I know they're still out there. I'm not giving up on them because I know they wouldn't give up on me." he grimaced.
"My parents were with his, and so were Naomi's. They also didn't return, but I too am not giving up. I travel and look for them almost everyday. I'll find them and bring them back home." Rin said with his lip curling upward.
Lucy covered her mouth in horror.
"I'm so sorry. That must be so hard." she whispered looking at them.
Haru smiled and started walking.
"Nah, it's not that bad. I've grown used to it by now. So don't apologize, because we're going to find them."
"Yes, you will. I'm sure of it." she nodded walking beside both of them.
"So, back to the main topic. I heard that section A made a portal. If we can find that and get you through than maybe you can go back home." Rin started looking around.
"We think it's in the castle's basement, and I'm only guessing that it's probably heavily guarded. Haru and I can take them and give you time to go in. Does that sound good?"
"I also have my keys to help me." she said feeling for her keys.
She froze and looked down to find them gone. Tears pricked the edges of her eyes as she searched her body for them.
"Where are my keys?!" she exclaimed shaking.
Haru put his hands on her shoulders.
"They're back where you belong. We'll get you back, okay?" he said giving them a small squeeze.
Lucy turned around and grabbed both of them. She pulled them into a big hug and closed her eyes.
"Thank you Haru! Thank you Rin!" she said.
They looked at each other a gave a smile. She let go and brushed away the tears.
"Now we only want to see happy tears from your eyes." Rin said as she laughed.
"Okay!" she yelled giving the Fairy Tail sign.
They charged forward ready to attack.
