Mark knew that this was their only hope. If they got to the blue light in time, they would have a chance at going home, and of escaping Merikon.
"Everyone run for the blue light! We have to all arrive at the same time!" Mark urgently yelled.
Marikon was close on Jesse's tail. Jesse grabbed a flask from his pack, and threw with expert precision at Marikon's head. Marikon roared angrily, wincing at the pain of his head, slowing down just a little, giving them the time they so desperately needed.
Slowly, everyone reached the blue light. They all gathered around, but nothing was happening.
"Mark, what are we waiting here for! He is going to kill us!" Matt yelled.
Mark ignored them, silently begging something would happen. Sprinkles falling from the amber sky started falling. A crash of thunder boomed above their heads.
"What's happening?" Megaan said in a panic. Merrick started to cry.
All of a sudden, a brilliant light from the sky sparked the blue meteor, and there was a blinding light that lasted what seemed like eternity, until they were thrown onto the ground. The soaking, muddy ground. Mark looked around. They were in the desert, in the storm that had transported them to Transall. They had made it back! Mark nervously gulped. What if Megaan and Merrick had not made it back? The thought shook him to his core. In the distance behind him, he heard the faint cry of a child.
"Megaan!" Mark cried in happiness. Everyone had made it back! Even Matt and Liz were celebrating with a warm embrace. All was well.
