"Thank you sir, the assets are being mobilized immediately" said Rhodey as he saw jets leaving the base through a camera. James pulled up the screens on the jets as he read their radars and saw a small dot. "Track the bogey I want to know what this thing is" ordered Rhodey.

Tony looked over the damage and looked over his HUD and spotted that moving the missile had caused a hydraulic leak in his left arm that was causing a loss of movement for the suit. "How long will it take fix the hydros?" asked Tony.

"Preliminary analysis shows an estimated eight hour repair time" replied Jarvis.

Tony sighed "Guess we better get home then and cut this joy ride short" said Tony looking around to get his bearings. His HUD radar started pinging with little red dots showing up on the screen. "Uh and those are what exactly?" he asked.

"Jets sir it would appear we have caught the attention of the United States military" explained Jarvis.

"Of course we have" said Tony turning and flying off in the opposite direction. He kept an eye on his radar as he moved into the mountains hoping to lose them in the terrain. The Stark built jets easily maneuvered in the rocky valley that Tony had flown into "I think I designed those jets to be too good" he said to himself getting to a lower and tighter section of the mountain.

"Sir the bogey has a high level of maneuverability and is roughly the size of a man" reported one of the pilots. Rhodey paced the room trying to figure out what to do next.

"Sir our drones report that the terrorists in the village have been disarmed and that civilian casualties have remained the same since before the incident" came a technician from behind him.

James thought and realized that only one person on earth could have built such an efficient weapon. Rhodey pulled out his cell phone. Tony's helmet started ringing and he looked at the caller ID and spotted Rhodeys picture. "Really why do people always call at awful times?" Tony asked himself as he answered. "Sup Rhodey? I'm a little busy right now" said Tony turning into a small tunnel in the middle of the mountain.

"Hey Tony do you have anything you want to tell me?" asked Rhodey watching his jets move into an ambush position on the object.

"Not at this particular moment why? Should I have something to tell you?" asked Tony feigning ignorance in the situation as he came near the exit of the tunnel system.

"Nothing huh? So you haven't been working on any new tech that might be roughly the size of a man and packs enough punch to take out a village full of hostile troops" said James seeing his jets tracking the object as it neared the exit.

"Ummmm can I get back to you on that?" replied Tony trying to decide his best course of action. As his HUD lit up with red tint.

"Don't wait too long because my boys are about to blow something like that out of the sky" he said as Tony flew out of the tunnel and the jets opened fire. Bullets tinged off of the suit as Tony flew by as quickly as he could hoping to somehow outrun his pursuers. The jets were on top of Tony and firing their mini-guns at the flying suit of armor. "What is this thing?" thought James as he watched it move to avoid the jets and their fire power.

"Jarvis I could use some advice here" said Tony knowing that the pilots would soon use their heavier weapons to shoot him down.

"Sir, your best option is to somehow damage the jets and force them to return to base" explained Jarvis.

Tony sighed with heavy frustration "Well I can't shoot them down, they are just doing what they are supposed to be doing." Tony checked his surroundings hoping to spot somewhere to hide until they lost interest or ran out of fuel but he couldn't see anywhere that would be a possibility. The jets kept firing and Tony could tell that his armor was weakening under their constant pressure. "Pull up the schematics of the jets Jarvis, let's see what I have to work with." the specs came up and Jarvis highlighted possible weaknesses. Tony could not see any way to ground the jets without destroying them "Dammit how is there no way to bring them down without destroying the jets and killing the pilots?" Tony thought for a moment and realized that if he could activate the ejector seats before blowing the jets he could save the pilots and also prevent the jets from falling into the wrong hands. "Ok here we go" said Tony activating the flaps slowing him down to be right between the jets. He quickly moved to the side and landed on the top of the jet and tore open the cock pit and yanked the ejector seat lever and watched as the pilot shot off into the sky and the parachute popping open to shelter his fall. Tony jumped off the now pilotless jet and destroyed it preventing from people getting their hands on the tech inside the plane.

"Sir, the first pilot was not in the jet, the object activated the ejector before destroying the jet" informed a technician who monitored the jet pilot as he floated to Earth. "The pilot has reported with only minor injuries and a chopper has been dispatched to pick him up."

Tony got onto the other jet as quickly as he could but was met by quick maneuvers by the pilot who began to spin the plane hoping to throw Tony off of it. While reaching for a hold Tony accidently reached and part of his hand hit the engine loosening the pieces keeping the engine attached. Tony let go and talked into his phone "Ok Rhodey stop it's me"

"What is that thing Tony some kind of android or drone?" asked James knowing full well that Tony was involved with his prey.

"No the suit is me it's a suit of armor that I am wearing right now. So you're shooting at me" explained Tony hoping that Rhodey would call off the dogs.

The pilot looked at his screen and realized that he had a problem "This if Falcon 2 the bogey has caused a malfunction on the engine and I am about to lose flight capabilities" informed the pilot looking for guidance from base.

"Falcon 2 eject we are already sending a chopper out to pick up the other pilot" ordered Rhodey realizing that the jet had no shot of making it back to base. The pilot pulled the ejector seat lever but nothing happened, he tried several more times but with no success.

"Falcon 2 to base the ejector seat has malfunctioned and is not working" the pilot reported as he continued to pull on the lever.

Tony watched and knew that something was wrong "Rhodey what's going on? Talk to me."

James sighed "The ejector seat has malfunctioned and isn't working" he informed going back to his work looking for a way to help the pilot.

Tony flew in and landed on the jet tearing open the cockpit and used the suits extra power to yank on the lever but it simply broke off and still didn't work. "Crap" said Tony using Jarvis to scan for the problem.

Jarvis highlighted the issue "I'm afraid that this issue cannot be fixed before the jet crashes into the surface sir" the computer system informed.

"Fine I'll take care of this" said Tony reaching down and grabbing the pilot and then breaking his restraints freeing him from the plane. Tony pulled him up into a hug and pulled away from the jet. He turned and flew back towards the village. Tony arrived at the village to find James waiting for him. He landed and the pilot he was carrying ran off to get medical attention while Rhodes walked up to Tony in the suit.

"We need to talk about this" informed Rhodes.

"Yeah but not here back at my place when you get back state side" told Tony not wanting this news to get back to the military leadership.

"Tony I have to tell my superiors something" explained Rhodey.

Tony shrugged "I want to keep this quiet if I can ok, I need some time to figure everything out about how to handle this whole situation." Tony flew off before James could respond and made his way home.
