Buffy and Cyrus were in Math class waiting for it to be over. Buffy wanted to tell Cyrus what happened when she broke things off with Walker. The teacher continued on with their lecture, giving examples using various equations. Buffy stealthily slipped Cyrus a note with a slight smirk on her face.

Buffy: Cyrus, I have so much to tell u lunch.

Cyrus quickly read the note, making sure the teacher didn't see it. Cyrus smiled as he glanced at Buffy. He was ready for all of the juicy details. Luckily, there were only 5 minutes left in class. Time went by, seemingly in a flash, and the students made their way to the cafeteria.

Cyrus P.O.V.

"Okay Buffy," I gushed eagerly. "I'm ready for all the tea to be spilled," I said. Buffy took a deep breath and slightly smirked. "Well here goes nothing," she sighed. I waited with bated breath as I listened attentively.

"We met at the park near the slides. Then we went to sit down on a bench so we could talk. I told him the way he went about inviting me to his fall formal really made me mad. He asked me why and I said he could've just asked me directly," Buffy explained.

"Mm-hmm and then what happened?," I asked wanting to know what happened next. Buffy scratched her head nervously and smirked. "He looked really disappointed when I told him that his invite turned me off and that I wanted to break up," Buffy continued.

"Sister," I began. "You're a piece of work," I quipped gently. Buffy covered her face with her hands and groaned. "That's not even the worst part!," Buffy said. "He apologized and asked if we could work things out. I told him no and that I'm not interested in him anymore," Buffy concluded.

"Well," I began softly. "You had to do it. I mean, it's better than stringing someone along," I said trying to console Buffy. She smiled at me as she held my hand. "It was honestly the best thing I've done. It wasn't all sunshine and rainbows being with him," she added.

Buffy P.O.V.

Cyrus' eyes lit up when I started giving him more details on my relationship with Walker. "Oooh now the milk is about to be spilled!," he said in a sing-song voice. I couldn't help but grin at his comment. "Nothing that major...I just found out that we don't have a lot in common," I said.

Cyrus looked concerned as he tilted his head to the side. "You two looked like you were getting along," he said in a deflated tone. I shook my head and smiled at him again. "Just because you get along with someone doesn't mean you have things in common," I lectured to Cyrus.

I looked over to Andi who was sitting across from me. She hadn't said anything the whole time which surprised me. "Hold on Cyrus," I said softly. I waved my hands in Andi's face. "Earth to Andi!," I called out.

Andi's P.O.V.

Buffy said my name and I snapped back to attention. I was too busy thinking about Amber. "Sorry," I apologized. "I was thinking about-," I tried to explain but was cut off. "Amber?," Buffy and Cyrus simultaneously said. I nodded my head looking down at my phone.

"The last time I talked to her was when Jonah, Cyrus, and TJ were-," I began slowly. "Wait what exactly was that about anyway Cyrus?," I asked curiously. "Well," Cyrus slurred as he surveyed the cafeteria. "No stalling," I commanded as I smiled.

"Can we please not talk about that?," Buffy asked as she looked at me with pleading eyes. I reflected her face back to her and she threw her hands in the air. "You both know I like Jonah," Cyrus began. "Well...liked," Cyrus continued. I looked at Cyrus then Buffy full of surprise.

"You didn't tell me you stopped liking him," I said to Cyrus. He gave me a weak smile and apologized. "A lot of things were going on and I couldn't find the time to tell you," he explained gently. I nodded because I could relate.

Jonah's P.O.V.

I saw my friends sitting at their favorite table when I saw TJ walk towards me. "Hey Beck," he greeted trying to sound cool. "Talk to ya for a sec?," TJ asked. I nodded, thinking it was about time for our every other weekly wit battle. "What's up?," I asked TJ.

He gave me a slight grin and looked over to where Cyrus was seated. "He's with his moms," TJ sighed. "Moms?," I asked as I stifled my laugh. TJ looked back to me and smirked. "Glad I could make ya laugh," he said.

I looked at him curiously as he continued speaking. "Listen. Why'd ya leave Cyrus that day he got detention?," TJ asked quietly. I gulped and scratched the back of my head. "I had a date with Libby," I explained. TJ looked at me quizzically and touched my shoulder.

"Don'tcha love 'im?," he asked plainly without hesitation. I motioned for him to keep things between us and not to talk loud. "I do but...Libby," I began. "I really like her." TJ patted my shoulder, giving me a sympathetic facial expression.

"Looks like ya got some figurin' out to do," he advised gently. "'Cause if ya don't someone's gonna fall so hard for me," TJ challenged playfully. "Yeah right!," I clapped back at him. "He's gonna choose me," I said confidently.

TJ's P.O.V.

"Beck...you a lotta work," I commented shakin' my head. Then I looked over to Cyrus' table 'n we locked eyes. No lie sometimes it feels like we can use telepathy or somethin'. I don't know what it is though. I know I like Cyrus but this is all new to me.

I've liked people before but I'm not the one to pursue anyone. I'd rather people come after me if they wanna be with me. To be honest, I never experienced anythin' like this. I cocked my head slightly and I saw Cyrus grin in my direction before he looked down. "C'mere," I said under my breath and Jonah stepped closer to me. "Huh?," he asked.

I lightly slapped Jonah's chest as I grinned. "Dang Beck," I blurted in surprise. "Didn't know ya wanted me too!," I teased. Jonah playfully punched my arm as I gave him a fake pout. "Why ya gotta treat me like that?!," I asked in an overly dramatic way.

No P.O.V.

Cyrus continued to explain what was going on between Jonah and TJ. "I still don't get it," Andi sang confused. Cyrus let out a small laugh as he smoothed down his hair. "It's okay Andi," Cyrus began. "I'll try to explain it better to you later."

Buffy rolled her eyes as she scarfed down more of her pasta salad. "It's just a love triangle without actually being a legit triangle," Buffy explained plainly. Andi seemed to realize what Cyrus meant now after hearing Buffy's explanation.

"Mmh-so...you want Jonah but he's with Libby. Then there's TJ. He always seems to be where you-," Andi began but was cut off. "Least expect 'im?," TJ asked softly as he looked down at Andi. "Uh-," Andi looked up at TJ speechless. "Can't stop starin' at me huh?," he playfully asked Andi.

Andi blushed in embarrassment as she quickly looked in Buffy's direction. Buffy mouthed the words I'm not saving you so Andi waved at Jonah instead of plead for Buffy's help. "Don't blame ya," TJ concluded as he smirked.

"Do you have to be so-," Andi began but TJ cut her off. "So...what?," he asked softly staring her down. Andi became flustered as she looked into his eyes. Buffy pretended like she was going to gag then smiled when TJ shot her a smirk. "I'm still not done with you Kippen," Buffy interjected.

TJ looked over to Buffy in shock. "Huh? I thought we were good," he said completely puzzled. Cyrus let out a heavy sigh. "You guys- I just can't with you," he gushed feeling uneasy. TJ noticed the change in Cyrus' emotions and moved closer to him. "I honestly don't know what I did," TJ confessed.

Buffy smirked as she threw a napkin at TJ's face. "Ey!," TJ yelped. That made Andi laugh a little as she tried not to spill her juice. TJ glanced at Andi as she continued to let little laughs slip. Jonah was completely absorbed in his phone to notice what was happening. Cyrus clapped his hands twice as he called Jonah's name.

"Jon-ah!," he called out. Jonah's head shot up then he quickly sat in between Byrus. "Yeah Cy?," Jonah asked cheerfully. Cyrus melted into a smile as the two continued to look at each other. "Look I want to apologize," Cyrus began.

"For what Cy?," Jonah asked utterly confused. "I tried forcing you to do something you don't want to do," Cyrus continued softly. "Cyrus," Jonah began to say. Cyrus held up his hand and smiled. "Please...let me finish," he replied.

Jonah nodded his head and listened attentively. "I was manipulative and selfish. I definitely wasn't being a real friend to you and I'm sorry," Cyrus apologized sincerely with a soft smile. TJ slowly smiled and gave Jyrus a slow clap.

Andi started giggling for some reason. Buffy looked at her friend in confusion. "And?i," she asked slightly chuckling. TJ smirked in Andi's direction with narrowed eyes. "Looks like somebody else wants me," TJ commented in full confidence.

Cyrus shook his head and smirked. "No-bo-dy wants you!," Cyrus clapped back with five hand claps. TJ looked over at Cyrus softening his face. "I know who I want," TJ replied lowly so that only Cyrus could hear. Cyrus became flushed as he turned his attention back to Jonah. "I forgive you Cyrus," Jonah said smiling brightly.

"There's my Sunshine!," Cyrus sang happily. That made Buffy smile to see her bestie happy. Then Buffy got a text as the lunch bell rang. It was time for fifth period. Everyone said they'd reassemble after school and began going off to their separate classes.

"Ey," TJ signaled as he gently took hold of Cyrus' right hand. There was instant static as Cyrus slowly turned around. "Chill man," Cyrus slurred in a raspy voice. TJ smiled as he looked down. "What? So I can't even touch you now?," TJ asked clearly teasing Cyrus.

"Do you always have to do that?," Cyrus asked curiously. "Do what?," TJ asked softly. Cyrus shook his head as he looked down. "Make me feel like I'm your special person," Cyrus gushed as he looked up at TJ. "Essentially you are," TJ replied plainly.

Cyrus' eyes widened as the two were oddly still holding hands. "Hey you guys'll be late for class," a student called out to them a few lockers away from Cyrus. Tyrus let go of each other's hand and slowly backed away from each other.

"See ya around babe?," TJ asked sweetly. Cyrus slightly nodded feeling even more bashful than before. Cyrus watched as TJ began walking away to his Science class. "Ey! Don't think I forgot about you and Andi!," Cyrus called out to TJ with sass.

TJ turned around and began walking backwards as he slowly body rolled into the classroom. Cyrus smiled as he quickly looked away. "Thanks! Uh...what was your name?," Cyrus asked. The guy gave him a smile. "Leo. I sit three desks behind you in Spanish," Leo reminded.

"Sorry," Cyrus apologized as he quickly closed his locker. "Let's book it!," Leo said as he walked behind Cyrus. Leo gently pushed Cyrus along so they could both make it to class. Cyrus was confused but amused at the same time. They had attended the same class but he never even talked to Leo.

The only exception was when Leo asked Cyrus about the secret society a few weeks ago.
