Dragon Blood Curse Ch. 12 -Nesting-

Silver's pov.
It's been almost five months n' we all knew we were due for the eggs to come soon "think that this will go well enough?" I had asked them shyly bout this all. "I donno, n' I had noticed a while back that Scourge seemed heavier than me n' you" Shadow had replied calmly as we both looked over, sure enough as our Green uke came in (on all fours since he prefers it that way with the weight) n' his belly was slightly larger than ours. I walked over to Scourge n' helped him into one of three nests we had been told to make "feeling any better Scourge?" "Not really" He replied as he laid his head down.

Shadow looked over to him "don't worry Scourge this will be over soon n' we can catch up on the boys with the skill training" he replied as Scourge looked over to us with a small smile "yeah...that's true" he replied before laying his head back down. We all could hear noises all over the village of laboring females n' herms as well, this of course had Scourge so nervous knowing that its soon but we all tried to keep him company. Soon enough though Shadow had been the first of us to fall in n' soon bare one egg a violet-red n' black one, n' surprisingly so did I, a teal-grey n' yellow egg, but we had been worried after the female hedgehog took both our eggs to the hatchery Scourge had still not laid his "is he all right?" Shadow asked the grey hedgehog Kilia.

She had walked over to check him "...worry not he's just behind on the schedule" she replied to us as she gave Scourge a blueish herb "this should help...it isn't often this happens but you're not the first" she told him as he complied n' ate the bitter plant, giving a face from the horrid taste "uhg that's gross" he whined as he washed it down. "Yes but it will help speed up the timing of labor n' should get those eggs out soon" Kilia replied to him rubbing his large stomach lightly.

Scourge's Pov.
I guess it was only bout three hours after Silver n' Shadow's laying that I felt the signs of the eggs finally wanting out of course I was nervous but it seemed I didn't have a real choice since my instincts kicked in again n' I don't recall even any pain since the next thing I knew was I open my eyes after apparently blacking out two eggs next to me one was golden yellow with green splotches on it n the other was dark blue with emerald green streaks on it "uh what happened?" I asked Silver who smiled to me "we were told your instincts came out n' all since you stopped acting all unwilling to bring these two eggs out" he replied to me n' I of course looked confused a bit.

I then let them take the eggs to the hatchery for their safety as I sat up "how long will the eggs be in the hatchery?" I asked Silver since they were informed a while ago. "About a month or so, but the three of us have training to catch up on" Silver said walking over with Shadow. I nodded getting up n' walked outside with them "well lets get too training cause I ain't one to be out done" I said smirking n' the three of us took off for today.

yeah its kinda short but I kinda flunked on ideas for this chapter ~
