Hey Guys, sorry for not updating in what seems like ages, I have been extremely busy with school and family events. In the last chapter, Elindithas was re-united with Gandalf, Legolas, Aragorn and Gimli, who had presumed him dead. Gandalf attempted to free Théoden from Saruman's curse, but as he withdrew Saruman, the evil wizard destroyed his mind in one swift blow. Now, it is down to Elindithas to save the people of Rohan and bring peace and prosperities to his subjects. Now onto the story…

Elindithas' P.O.V

I awoke groggily, wiping the sleep out of my eyes, I felt something soft splayed across my chest. Turning my head, I laid my eyes on Arwen, lying naked on the mattress, her hair resting on my bare skin. I traced my hand over her exposed breasts. She slowly opened her eyes and smiled at me.

"For four-hundred years I always dreamt of waking up next to you." She whispered. "And now that it's real, I don't want to leave this bed." She kissed me slowly, wrapping her arms around my neck, her smooth skin felt pleasant against my long hair.

"I love you so much." I murmured, kissing her skin gently. She turned me over so she was straddling me. Suddenly, there was a loud knock on the huge double doors. Surprised, Arwen fell off me onto the bed next to me, grabbed the covers and pulled them over our nakedness.

"Come in!" I called and Aragorn entered. "My lord Aragorn." I said, bowing my head. He returned my nod, smiling at us both.

"Sorry for interrupting, but we have a situation within the townspeople!" Aragorn said anxiously. I looked at him, worried about what was happening to my subjects."

"What has happened?" I asked, as Aragorn bent down catching his breath, it was obvious that he had run here.

"It seems like there are some that of the citizen's object to your rule. They have killed three elders during the night, leaving only a marking on the walls and on the people's clothes." Aragorn explained.

"What symbol did they leave?" I questioned. "It could lead us to the perpetrators quickly." Aragorn answered solemnly.

"The white hand of Saruman." I sighed, looking to Arwen next to me, she looked back at me, a clear state of worry evident in her beautiful, blue eyes.

"Summon my court at once, I must address this matter immediately." I responded and Aragorn nodded, leaving the room and locking the door behind him. I sat up and Arwen rested her hand on my shoulder.

"Don't worry Elindithas, we will find out who did this atrocity and bring them to justice." She reassured me, kissing my neck softly. I turned to her and ran my hand gently across her pale cheek.

"I know we will find them but locking them up or even killing them will not silence the fact that twenty-four hours into my rule and we have already had a betrayal. Have I already failed my people?" I asked her. She looked deep into my eyes, almost mesmerizingly.

"Listen to me Elindithas, if some people have rebelled against you; you have not failed them. They have failed you." She told me firmly. I nodded, pushing the covers off and standing up. I looked for my elven cloak, which was discarded to the side last night. Reaching down, I placed it on the bed. Quickly, I slipped my riding trousers on and a green shirt that was given to me by Eowyn. Turning, I saw Arwen pulling her dress on. Her zip behind her was undone. Moving her hair over her left shoulder, I began to zip up her back. Goosebumps formed on her back as I caressed it with my fingers.

"I want you stay here in the keep whilst I am in the court." I told her, she looked at me confused.

"But I was going to see Gwyn this morning. She wanted to show me some of her herbal medicines and ointments she used on me." Arwen argued. I shook my head.

"Arwen, there are killers on the loose. If they do dispute my rule, they will certainly target the Queen Consort of Rohan, won't they?" I replied calmly.

"You are sounding a lot like my father." She responded, anger rising in her voice. "I am just going to Gwyn's house and back, anyway, I will be armed with Hadhafang." I smiled, nodding to her.

"Fine, just make sure you just go there and back." I told her. She nodded, kissing me on the cheek.

"I love you." She said.

"And I you." I replied as we left our bedroom together.

I stood calmly in the courtroom, surrounded by my guards and high ranking subjects.

"Please, be seated." I said and everyone took their seats around a large round table. Suddenly, the huge wooden door opened and Legolas entered.

"I apologise for my lateness, I had to send a letter." He excused himself, taking his seat next to me. Leaning over, he quickly whispered into my ear. "How are things holding up regarding the murders?"

"I want to know who did this. If we can reassure the people that we can keep them safe, I will actually have them on my side." I explained to him. He looked at me with a knowing look. "What?" I questioned.

"You are doubting yourself." He said sternly. I looked at him puzzled. He smiled slightly. "You are anxious that these people hate you."

"I am just anxious that these murders could lead into a full rebellion towards my rule." I replied to him.

"These people are loyal Elindithas. They are just scared at the prospect of war." Aragorn said. "Show them that you can keep them safe and they will be happy to follow you." I nodded, looking to the people surrounding me. Taking a deep breath to calm myself, I addressed my court for the first time.

"Welcome my friends, I would have liked our first meeting to start on a happier note, but as you all know, several atrocious and gruesome murders were committed throughout the night. Three

of our most respected elders were killed during the night and the assailants left markings on the walls." I said. An elderly man stood up. I looked to him.

"Halaf my lord." He said, bowing slightly. "My brother was killed last night and he believes that it was the doing of Grima Wormtongue."

"That's impossible." Aragorn stated. "Grima has been exiled for life." I nodded and looked back to Halaf.

"Yes, I have banished Grima and told my guards to kill on sight if they see him." I explained. Halaf acknowledged my explanation but continued talking.

"Grima's influence still lives on. He used to have a whole group of assassins on hand to kill." Halaf said. "He may have ordered them to start an uprising against you." I was about to answer, but a scream echoed throughout Edoras. Instantly knowing the voice, I jumped to my feet, drawing Liberator.

"Arwen!" I shouted, sprinting out the main hall, followed by Aragorn and Legolas. Bolting down the steps leading up to the Great Hall, I ran to Gwyn's house and kicked the front door clean off its hinges. Wielding Liberator in front of my face. Walking into Gwyn's bedroom, I was met with an abhorrent sight; Gwyn was strewn across the bed, a knife laying across her chest, with blood pouring out of her throat. Arwen stood next to her, shaking and pale. I walked to her, taking her into a warm embrace. "It's okay." I whispered softly into her ear. "I'm here." I escorted her out, as I passed Aragorn on the way out he spoke.

"Who did this?" He questioned. I shook my head, shrugging my shoulders in confusion.

"I do not know." I replied. "But I want a full investigation into these murders and I want you to lead it."

"Of course, Elindithas." He said, bowing his head and entering Gwyn's bedroom to assess the crime scene.

I sat in our bedroom, I had just drawn Arwen a bath and she was in the bathroom, preparing to enter it. Standing up, I approached the bathroom door and quietly pulled the handle up, entering slowly. Peering in, I saw Arwen sitting in the warm water, her back to me as she hummed softly to herself. I recognised the tune, it was the song that was playing when we shared our first dance together in Rivendell on the eve of our last meeting. Creeping up to her, I stroked her hair gently, feeling the wet knots out of it. She looked up at me and pulled me towards her, placing her lips against mine.

"Wait a second." I responded, moving to the edge of the bathroom, I shrugged my cloak off my shoulders and joined her in the warm water. Taking her cheeks in my hand, I pressed my lips against hers, feeling her tongue slip inside my mouth, I searched her body with my hands – running them down her back, caressing her softy. She moaned passionately into my mouth as I reached the base of her spine. Suddenly, I felt a long slender hand upon my manhood as it was guided to her entrance. Pressing inside of her, I groaned, feeling her insides contract around me. As I felt her relax around me, I began to thrust, slowly at first, but began gaining speed as she began to moan louder.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the bathroom's door. I looked up, startled by the sudden noise. "Hello?" I questioned.

"Brother?" Legolas' voice asked. Raising a finger to my lips, I began to thrust into Arwen again.

"What is it Legolas?" I responded, trying to contain my arousal as Arwen began to kiss my navel.

"I have discovered something about the murderer, but I will need your consent to pursue it." He explained. "Can I?"

"Of course," I answered. "I give you…" I paused as Arwen released upon me. "My consent…" I paused again as I released into Arwen. "To pursue this discovery, you have made."

"Thank you brother." Legolas replied, I heard him leave and Arwen lent against me, panting. She pressed her lips to mine.

"Oh Valar, that was amazing." She gasped, sitting back in the bath water, massaging her breasts with the soap. "Can you help me?" She asked seductively…

Legolas paced down the steps that led up to the Great Hall, he turned left and walked towards the marketplace. The paths were quiet, everyone was afraid and stayed in their homes whenever possible. Soon, he approached a hut, knocking on the door, he was met with a surly man, with a large head and a round stomach.

"We're closed." He said. Attempting to shut the door, but Legolas stopped it with his foot. The man opened it again, a grimace upon his face. "What part of 'We're Closed' don't you understand?!" He questioned angrily.

"I bring a warrant from King Elindithas to search your shop records and ask you some important questions.

"Ay, wait. You're that elf prince, aren't you?" The man asked. Legolas nodded and the man held the door open, allowing Legolas to enter. "So, what do you want to look at?"

"I would like to look through your sale records and ask about some daggers that you might have sold recently." Legolas said, walking into the back of the shop. The man sighed, picking up a book from the shelves.

"Here are the sales records." He said, handing them reluctantly over to Legolas. Opening the dusty book, Legolas scanned over the recent transactions, until he found what he was looking for.

"This dagger." Legolas stated. The man looked over.

"What about it?"

"You sold three to the same person in the past week. Who is he?" Legolas questioned.

"He is an inspector into crimes." The man answered. "He was good friends with Grima Wormtongue." As the man spoke these words, Legolas bolted out of the shop…

Aragorn entered Gwyn's hut, surveying the horrific scene. As he entered the bedroom, he noticed the dagger on top of her carcass had gone, probably to be checked for finger prints. Shrugging, Aragorn knelt next to the bed, studying the wound that Gwyn had across her throat. Dry blood lined it and the artery in her throat was exposed. Retching slightly, Aragorn turned to see a man enter.

"My lord, I have been sent here to assist you in your study." He said, bowing slightly. Aragorn smiled.

"Good, can you help me check Gwyn's body for fingerprints?" Aragorn questioned. The man nodded.

"Certainly, just let me get my things from outside the hut." Aragorn knelt as the man left and looked over Gwyn's body. Soon, the man returned, but not with his tools, in his hand, he grasped a sharp knife, just like the one that was used to kill Gwyn. Raising it above his head, his arm was grabbed by a hand and he was spun around. Suddenly, his face was met with a stiff uppercut from Legolas. Aragorn looked behind him and stood up, hauling the man to his feet and holding his arm in a tight lock.

"You're coming with me." He said through gritted teeth as he began to walk with Legolas towards the main hall.

Elindithas' P.O.V

I sat on my throne in the main hall, Arwen to my side in a white silk dress with her hair lying loosely on her shoulders. Hama stood before me, explaining the advantages and disadvantages of Helm's Deep. Suddenly, the hall doors opened and I saw my brother enter, Aragorn behind him, a man in his clutches.

"What is this Legolas?" I asked, staring at the man with his arm twisted painfully behind his back.

"I believe this man is guilty of murdering Gwyn!" Legolas announced and the entourage of the main hall gasped.

"How do you know that he is guilty of this charge?" I questioned, walking forwards towards the men standing in the entrance.

"He has bought the same type of dagger that killed Gwyn three times in the past week. Furthermore, I just foiled his assassination on Lord Aragorn." Legolas explained. I looked up, something inside me snapped, I walked towards the man and signalled to Aragorn to drop him. He obliged and let the man fall to his knees. He looked up to me and I smiled at him. Reaching to my belt and beheading him in an instant. I tucked Liberator back into my belt and looked to Hama.

"Inform the civilians that we make to Helm's Deep." He nodded. "And Hama…" He turned to look at me.

"Yes, my lord?"

"Tell them what happens when they oppose my rule. Let this be an example of treachery."

I walked back, taking Arwen's hand and escorting her back to our quarters to prepare for the journey…
