Chapter 12
Zero is in bed sleeping with his wife Anko and there daughter Fu in between them sleeping.
Zero is having a dream of a past from a long long time ago.
PAST
Two people are training against each other. One of them is Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki also known in the future as the sage of six paths. The other person training with the sage is his best friend. His name is Kane Ichimaru, he looks like Ōko Yushima when Nozomi and Kageroza fused into one being. He's also wearing the same outfit, the one he fought Ichigo in there final battle.
"Man I give up", Kane says plopping on the ground exhausted but Hagoromo isn't even tired.
"But I'm not-", Hagoromo is cut off with Kame yelling at him.
"Your the only human born with charkra! Of course you won't be tired!", Kane yells at Hagoromo who laughs a little and rubs the back if his head sheepishly.
"Oh yeah, sorry", Hagoromo says and Kane sweat drops then smirks seeing a girl behind a tree with a light blush looking at Hagoromo.
"Well, well, well, seems you got a special someone", Kane said standing up and Hagoromo looks at him confused.
"Huh?", Hagoromo says not knowing what he's talking about and Kane points to the girl behind the tree. Hagoromo turns and smiles them waves.
"Hello-", Hagoromo is stopped by the girl making an "eep" sound and disappearing.
"Uhhhhh, what just happened?", Hagoromo says and Kane face palms.
"Man he's dense", Kane thinks not believing Hagoromo's stupidity.
"Why did she hide? Is she afraid of me?", Hagoromo says looking at Kane and he sweat drops.
"No she isn't stupid, she likes you", Kane says putting an arm around Kane.
"Of course she likes me, we are friends", Hagoromo says and Kane's eye twitches.
"No, she has a crush on you", Kane says smiling and Hagoromo blushes.
"Wait, what!", Hagoromo yells blushing redder than a tomato and Kane laughs at Hagoromo's expression.
BACK TO PRESENT
Zero wakes up not knowing what he just saw or who those two people were.
TIME SKIP
Fu is walking through her new home when she's sees a picture of her dad Zero as a kid standing next to another kid who looks just like him. Theres another picture of then with another person.
"Who are they?", Fu says and Anko turns from the table and sees what she's looking at. She has a sad look on her face and looks down.
"That's your father and his twin brother and his best friend...", Anko says and Fu sees Anko's sad look.
"An-", Fu stops.
"Mom...", Fu says not used to saying these words.
"What happened to them?", Fu says and Anko doesn't say anything.
"They died...", Zero said standing at the door way with an emotionless look in his face.
Fu and Anko look at him surprised not even noticing him.
"My brother died because of him...", Zero says the "him" part with anger.
"My best friend died trying to protect me", Zero said leaving the house.
"Dad...", Fu says sadly.
WHERE THE THIRD HOKAGE IS
"Lord hokage...", Zero said behind the third hokage who's looking at the pictures if the pervious hokages.
"You know... I was told once by Hashirama that he wanted Madara to become hokage but things didn't turn out like he wanted", Hiruzen said surprising Zero but he looks away.
"I can't ever become hokage... I have hate in my heart, I hate Kakashi, it takes all my strength to hold it back but when I see him using brothers sharingan, its hard to hold back, if it wasn't for Anko, I might've becomes like Madara myself", Zero said and Hiruzen looks away and smokes then breaths out.
"Everyone admires you in this village, if it wasn't for you, a lot of innocent people would have died", Hiruzen said and Zero walks towards the doors.
"Zero, I need you to lead this village, y-", Hiruzen is cut off by Zero's charkra suddenly turning cold as ice. Zero looks at Hiruzen with his EMS activated.
"My entire clan was killed in one night when I came back to the village, do you know how much anger and sadness I felt. DO YOU?! EVERYONE I CARED ABOUT IN MY CLAN WAS KILLED BY ITACHI! MY ANGER SURPASSES SASUKE'S BY WORLDS!", Zero yells angered and starts to swirl away.
"Don't bring this up again! I never want to become hokage!", Zero said about to disappear but Hiruzen says something that's shocks Zero.
"Minato told me that Obito's goal was to become hokage", Hiruzen says and Zero's eyes widen and stops swirling away with his sharingan deactivating. Zero looks away sadly.
"... How about Jiraya or Tsunade, there better choices to lead this village then I am", Zero said turning away about to leave but stops.
"Hiruzen, something happened a few days ago", Zero said drawing his attention.
"What is it?", Hiruzen says and Zero signs.
"I was approached by a group called Akatsuki, they wanted me to join them", Zero said shocking Hiruzen.
"I didn't accept a tried to capture the akatsuki member but he got away somehow, he somehow melted into the ground, he reminded my of a Venus fly trap?", Zero said.
(He's talking about Zetsu)
"Why did they want you to join them?", Hiruzen says knowing about there mission in capturing the tailed beasts.
"Who knows but he did say something about there leader wanting me to join", Zero said not sure why they wanted Zero to join them.
TIME SKIP AT THE FOREST OF DEATH
Zero is currently against a tree looking at a picture of his brother and Kaname as well as him. Suddenly a giant bear appears about to slash at Zero but a Susanoo hand appears having the bears arm and throwing the bear through a tree.
"Leave me alonne or I'll kill you", Zero said looking at the bear with a cold glare and the bear backs away scared and starts running away.
Zero starts thinking about his meeting with that plant guy.
FLASH BACK
Zero is currently at the final valley, sitting in Madara's head.
"Hello, are you Zero Uchiha by any chance", someone said and Zero's eyes widen all the way not even sensing him. Zero jumps back and slides away then looks who said that. He's greeted by a guy looking like a plant trap with one side of his body white and the other black.
"What do you want?", Zero said narrowing his eyes.
"Our leader would like to extend an invitation for you to join our organization, the Akatsuki", Zetsu said shocking Zero.
"Why would I join the akatsuki, I know about you guys hunting tailes beasts", Zero says and Zersu looks at him surprised.
"How did you know? Seems we've got information leak", Zetsu says and sees a Susanoo sword about strike him but he goes into the statue leaving. There's an explosion and Zero missed.
"Damn it! Almost got him", Zero says signing and Susanoo receds.
"He was right, you wouldn't listen if I told you", Zetsu says with his head sticking out if the ground and he goes back into it disappearing.
FLASH BACK END
"Naruto must become stronger if he even had a chance at beating them", Zero thinks.
