Bo sat at a table with Marcus, Miles, Rick, Colin and Dennis at the Malfoy's Christmas ball later that same night. He along with Marcus, Rick and Miles were asked to the guards of the royal Queens, though he's not sure how they work out their titles. Cho is in Ravenclaw but she and Angelina, who is in Gryffindor, would be duel Queens of Slytherin because of their boyfriends being its Kings, right? Lyra is the King of Gryffindor but her girlfriend Flora is in Slytherin, so is the latter Queen of Gryffindor? And what about Anarell and Fleur? Slytherin has three royals the twins are its Kings and Fleur is the Queen; Fleur and Anarell's relationship makes the whole tile thing even more complicated. Is Fleur an Empress now? Or is she only such in the presence of Anarell and Queen when she isn't. And Merlin's left ball sack what is going on with all the fucking names in this group! I swear I can't keep up with all the first names, middle names and nicknames that are giving. Bo shook his head as he looked at his navy suit that he brought after his little fight with Percy. Miles had on an olive green suit, Rick a grey one and Marcus had on a black one; Colin and Dennis were also in suits. Marcus bought the suits for them as a Christmas present, a marrom one for Colin and marrom claro one for Dennis. Anarell was then left with the two boys for an hour, because she snagged them when the others were looking at clothes. When the three turned up again both Colin and Dennis had new haircuts, Colin an undercut that Anarell was combing back when the trio was found and Dennis had a side part.
Across the room Anarell and Mathis sat just staring at one another. It was the first time the two girls were alone together and the older raven haired girl was trying to get a clear read on the younger one. Mathis wasn't doing anything that different from Anarell either only there was a squirrel on her lap, a squirrel that Mathis had with her all day. It was smart, about that Anarell couldn't lie, but that still didn't give the older girl a legitimate reason as to why the younger would have one. Anarell started to tap her foot in time with the classical band her Uncle had playing for the night, the action caused Mathis to look away and show her neck to the girl across from her. Anarell's first instinct was to bite the neck exposed to her but she just reached out and grabbed Mathis by the neck squeezing it ever so slightly. Mathis whimpered and went limp wanting to show Anarell that she was no threat in any shape or form. When she was satisfied Anarell let go and looked around the room, not to see if anyone saw what happened but because her brain was still trying to understand what her body did. Banto might know, probably a hell hound thing.
"I understand that your father is the President of Wizard America, you are next to take over, right?"
"Yes, my father has planned it since my mother told him she was pregnant with me." Mathis' voice much like Anarell's was husky but it also held a southern drawl, "I may not be his oldest but of my siblings but I'm the only one who has a strong will, iron back bone and the nerve to stand up to someone of higher power, even if it's a giant bluff in the end."
"Equivalent to the Blacks?"
"That was only once my father became president for his third term. He managed to over throw many laws, regulations and such to keep his place. I helped him too, found loop holes and suggested a rigged election to people felt they actually helped picked who would America's next PoM. Would you believe I was only eight when I told him this as he was going for a third term. The man, I love him with all my heart, but can be so fucking helpless its ridicules. He had two amazing terms then he suddenly forgets his accomplishments."
"How old are you Mathis? And when is your birthday?"
"I just turned 11 October 30th."
"The day before me." Anarell nodded as she caught Fleur's eyes; the blond was dancing with her father and the two seemed to be in a deep discussion. "What's with the squirrel? I've been meaning to ask all day."
"Xena here is my familiar bond; she's a four month old red fox squirrel. Since she's in captivity she should live for about 18 years." The squirrel, Xena, looked at Anarell before holding out a paw. "I taught her a few things like shaking hands and she'll even send letters short distances." Anarell nodded as she shook the paw with a grin.
"The children must love her." Mathis just nodded as Xena climbed on to her shoulder cover by her khaki colored blazer that was open over her light blue shirt and gray tie. Her right hand slid into the pocket of her dark blue pants as she crossed her legs at the ankles, showing off her brown dress shoes. Anarell wore a navy blazer over a pink shirt and navy tie with khaki pants and brown wing tips; she straightens the former as she stood to full height. Fleur had been looking at her again, this time she looked at her with a silent plea for help. "Excuse me Mathis but I do believe I'm needed by my mate."
"Of course, Alpha, enjoy the ball. I'll more than likely be on the floor soon." The two shared small smiles, "I may steal you for a dance myself though." Anarell chuckled at the thought but didn't let it pass her that Mathis just might ask fora dance. With a curt nod Anarell walked toward Fleur and her father; as she got closer she could hear Monsieur teasing her mate.
"...and now all you do is gush about Anarell in your letters. Will there be a wedding when she's done with Hogwarts? Or do you plan on-" Turning when someone tapped his shoulder, Monsieur was surprised to see Emily Leon behind him. But before the girl could ask if it were okay for her to dance with Fleur, Anarell took advantage of Monsieur's distraction and took the blonde for her own before leading her away from the other two. Fleur glanced back at her former crush then at her mate with a confused and slightly pissed look.
"Why is she here?" Anarell was paying more attention to the blondes dress than to what she was saying: an A-line silhouette, one shoulder and floor-length hemline, sleeveless, beading embellished pink chiffon dress donned the French girls frame and called for Anarell to admire. She loved the way it showed her mates developing body, a bit creepy sounding but nothing short of the truth.
"I've no clue, dear," And truly she didn't because let's face it if the young multi heir knew her mates old crush had been invited to the ball she would have made sure the girl got in. "But should she try anything here, now or next school year, she will be killed. I assure that, mon bel oiseau is a promise." Anarell looked down at her mate before looking up and seeing Emily look at them. Placing hand on the younger girl's cheek, Fleur got the girls attention and gave her a small smile before kissing her softly.
"Is it bad that I wouldn't attempt to stop you? I've no real ill intent toward Emily but should you kill her I would back you 100%." Pulling the shorter girl closer till her head was resting on her chest Anarell let out a low happy growl, that's what Fleur called it since it wasn't exactly purring like a cat, when her girlfriend held her tight. Luckily Pansy and Daemon hijacked the stage and started a slow song so the two were able to get away with their dance suddenly slowing down.
How long will I love you?
As long as stars are above you
And longer, if I can.
How long will I need you?
As long as the seasons need to
Follow their plan.
How long will I be with you?
As long as the sea is bound to
Wash upon the sand.
How long will I want you?
As long as you want me to
And longer by far.
How long will I hold you?
As long as your father told you,
As long as you can.
How long will I give to you?
As long as I live through you
However long you say.
How long will I love you?
As long as stars are above you
And longer, if I may.
While Pansy and Daemon preformed, Colin and Lilly were taking pictures and recording, Blaise had dragged Draco to the floor and started to slow dance with him as well. Angelina and Astoria looked at each other before shrugging and going to dance with each other as well. On the side of the circle Emily was glaring at Anarell as she danced with Fleur pressed contently to her chest. The two girls seemed to be in their own world as Pansy and Daemon started another slow song and Emily could see Anarell was singing the song to Fleur as well. The brown eyed girl could feel her anger building up as she watched Anarell start to spin and dip the girl she came so far to see. I'll be damned if I let this little bitch think she can take what is rightfully mine. As if sensing the older French girls glare, Anarell looked up at her and smirked before she pulled Fleur back into her and kissed her as the song ended. The three dancing couples and the singing duo got many cheers before the classical band was back in full swing.
"You're going to do something very stupid." Emily jumped at the voice next to her, she or her vela didn't sense anyone approach. Looking to her left, where the voice came from, she saw Mathis standing behind her and cursed herself for being startled by a little girl. She let her thrall reach out to the younger girl who only growled and glared at the green eyed brunette. "I don't take kindly to Veela trying to control me, Emily, you'd best remember that. My kind and I can be very temper mantel when in this predicament and trust me next time a warning will be the last thing you will get when you attempt this stunt again." At some point Mathis had grabbed Emily's throat and pinned her to the wall; looking around for help Emily saw that no one seemed to notice what was- no way there was a boy that looked like Anarell watching and making his way over. The boy wore an all-black suit with a red bow tie and his hair was combed and slicked back giving him a cleaned up bad boy look, all he needs now are some tatts on his arms, Mathis thought to herself. Thinking the boy was her saving grace, Emily allowed a smug look to cross her face but it fell when the boy spoke and clapped his hands.
"Mathis I do applaud you on your catch, spotting a future threat before she, formal, announced herself as a threat." Aries looked the girl over before placing a hand on Mathis' shoulder, "Leave her be for now, should she warrant our attention on a later date she'll be dealt with." With a sneer at the girl in her grasp Mathis listened to her Alpha's brother.
Marcel was pissed the last thing he expected to hear was that his daughter was about to ruin the best thing she'll ever have. What was she thinking taking skating lessons from another boy, if Percy didn't want to teach her then she should have sat on the side and waited for him to address her; be it better for her to have left the skating area then do something so foolish. She had no right to take that boys offer and she knew better, he knew she did because he raised her to know better. She was an idiot, if it wasn't obvious enough, and wanted to ruin all her chances of potential wealth. Sure Percy had no money but he was well on his way to with the Minister of Magic taking an interest in him and giving him a job offer for the upcoming summer. He could see it now, Percy working his way up through Ministry ranks before in a couple, hopefully short, decades he is the Minster of Magic himself. All Penelope has to do is keep Percy entertained, take care of him in any way he needs to be taken care of. Should she lose Percy's interest then fine she could have this Lucian but she'd have to make him something, from the background of course. A woman should never be on the forefront of anything unless was ways to tend to a husband and take care of the house and children. Speaking of which, this Anarell girl may be trouble in the future leading to Penelope building confidence. He needed to remind his daughter of her place not only in the world but in his house.
Harry was seething at his own stupidity. He lost heirship to the last house his family had and technically speaking he had no real last name and for some reason his mother couldn't set aside an account for him so that he would still get money from the Evans vault. She couldn't do anything with the vault without the approval of the families' new heir, Anarell, the girl who single handedly ruined his life in a matter of months. If the girl had just submitted to him like the good girl he knew she was then a lot of this could have been avoided. If she wouldn't be his willingly or by potions than he'll take her by physical force and break the girls iron will, he'll reduce her to nothing but a shell of who she is now. With a small smile Harry wobbled away from his mother's sleeping form in Evans Manor, and went to his room where his owl Hedwig was sitting in its cage looking like she was going to drop dead any second. He didn't even spear a glance in her direction until after he finished letter to Ron and had to let her out to tie it to her leg. "Take this to Ron; he needs to know of the new plan with Anarell and Luna." He hissed as he grabbed the owl and dropped her out the window, from the manor's third floor.
Flora frowned as she watched as adults and Hogwarts students alike crowded around Lyra trying to book Anguis for an upcoming event or one in the near future. It's been going on for hours and Flora was getting tired it; she still hadn't a single dance from her girlfriend. She wasn't too sure how to feel about the situation: yes she was happy that her girlfriend was working hard to establish not only her own financial stability but also a name for herself not born of Black or Weasley. Not that Lyra had a problem with the Black name she just wanted, like many people, to be someone independent from their siblings. She's been dealing with that her whole life and she hates being judged based off of others in her family, especially her former twin Ron. But at the same Flora felt a bit neglected because since the skating rink she hasn't spent much time with Ginny; she had been getting owl requests for the band and was working on setting up a schedule as well as doing the math seeing how money was being split among the band and informing their booked gig clients that there has been two new additions to the band. She was negotiating and haggling her ass off getting the most money she could for each member of Anguis. Flora hated being clingy but this relationship, relationships outside of her family in general, are new to her and a fifth year Gryffindor muggle-born had explained to her: 'The honeymoon phase, which you and Ginny will enter when one of you grows the lady balls to ask the other out, is a period of being insanely clingy mainly due to the want and need to not only get to know this person you're considering handing your heart to but to also get use to their presence being a big part of your life.'
Ginny sighed as she looked at Flora from a far and admired that even in a simple black dress and emerald 2 inch heels the girl still looked more than amazing to her. She hated that she had been, reluctantly, too busy to spend as much time with the Slytherin as she would have liked. It made her feel like a shitty girlfriend because they had only been together for a little less than three days.
"What about tomorrow?" She looked up at a nameless pure blood then back at her book.
"Dunbar." She replied in a controlled voice annoyed that the man was still pestering her while everyone else had finally left and she wanted nothing more than to dance with redhead in the black dress.
"Day after?"
"Rivers, 28th and 29th we'll be in France then Herby on the 30th, O'Neal's on the 31st. On New Year's and the day after that it's family day and the third we play the Bones. You can owl me while I'm in Hogwarts for a date during spring break. I'd advise you see to that the day we head back to Hogwarts." The man opened his mouth but closed it when heterochromia iridum brown and black eyes stared at him coldly, "Look I've been hounded by more than my fair share of people tonight for nearly three hours straight. I'm not dressed up in an all-black monkey suite for you all to take my time away from my date. I haven't even had a single dance the whole night with her before I was cornered into my band manager role. If you can't get it through your thick, too far up yourself important ass, ignorant child minded brain then fuck off and book Anguis I and the band could care less. I got more than enough people lined up to take us whenever the band is available so one less gig isn't going to hurt us."
"Even if it's for the Holyhead Harpies?" He smirked to himself as he dropped the name of the girls' favorite Quidditch team. His brother was a fourth year Gryffindor and told him today that the girl in front of him was a Holyhead Harpies fan and the Harpies wanted Anguis to play for them at a party after New Year's. He frowned when the girl scoffed at him, as if not taking him seriously.
"Even for the Harpies, the second of January is a family day and it will stay a family day." She pulled a card out of her jacket pocket and handed it to him, "If you're who you say you are then give Captain Gwenog Jones this. It's a self-updating calendar of our schedule this year tied to my personal planner for the band. It's obviously shrunken down and can be enlarged by one of two ways: magical or gently pulling the corners ,that are of opposite of each other, to the desired size." She shoved it into his chest and walked off without another word to Flora, who was talking to Cho while Aries, Luna and Anarell took over the stage this time.
"Good evening everyone I hope you don't mine Aries, Luna and I take over the stage as well." The three of them wore wireless mics, made by the twins after seeing them in M.L, while Luna had her saxophone, "We have another slow song, which the three of us wrote together, we'd like to sing for you. So grab someone that means something to you and hold them close." Lyra grabbed Flora's hand not even a full second later, while Dante grabbed Cho's, and smiled shyly at her.
"May I have this dance as a way for me to making up for my lack of being these past couple of days?" Lyra was scared and nervous she didn't know what Flora was thinking or how she felt because of her neglect. She would hate to lose the girl before their relationship really started, the thought alone scared Lyra shitless.
"I'd love to." The band behind the LeStrange triples started paying and Aries sung first as Luna made her way to Gabby.
Everybody needs inspiration
Everybody needs a song
A beautiful melody
When the nights are long
'cause there is no guarantee
That this life is easy
Aries and Anarell shared a brief look before they got off stage and walked to Theo and Fleur, who were at the front of the stage. Both siblings offered their dates a hand as they bowed slightly; pulling their partners close when their hand they joined Luna and Gabby in the middle of the floor
Yeah when my world is falling apart
When there's no light
To break up the dark
That's when I, I
I look at you
When the waves are flooding the shore
And I can't find my way home any more
That's when I, I
I look at you
When I look at you
I see forgiveness
I see the truth
You love me for who I am
Like the stars hold the moon
Right there where they belong
And I know I'm not alone
Yeah when my world is falling apart
When there's no light
To break up the dark
That's when I, I
I look at you
When the waves are flooding the shore
And I can't find my way home any more
That's when I, I
I look at you
You appear just like a dream to me
Just like kaleidoscope colors that cover me
All I need
Every breath that I breathe
Don't you know you're beautiful
Yeah, yeah, yeah
When the waves are flooding the shore
And I can't find my way home any more
That's when I, I
I look at you
I look at you
Yeah,
Whoa-oh,
You appear just like a dream to me
Nicholas and his wife decided to get away from the party for some time and have a moment to themselves. They made small talk before letting it die and just enjoy their time with one another. Until Perenelle voiced a question she's had for some time now.
"When you told me, minutes after you got home from the trail, about making Anarell not only your mentee but heir to the house of Flamel, did you mean it? The girl has enough houses under her why give her another and why name an heir at all? We're immortal, Nick."
"Only to our bodies own self destruction, we can still be killed in many other ways. I fear that our time here is nearing the end with Dumbledore's thirst for power and want to conquest. The last thing I want is for our vast wealth to be blown in a year by him, because he managed to bend a goblin to his will, and his counter Death Eaters."
"You say it as if Tom and most of the people here aren't Voldemort and his Death Eaters." Perenelle hissed lowly as she looked over her shoulder and Nicholas shook his head before stopping and turning her toward him.
"You say as if Tom is really as Dumbledore portrays him, because we know Tom doesn't hunt random muggles. Only those who know of the wizarding world and threaten to take it to high ranking officials." Perenelle huffed and looked away from her husband, "I picked Anarell as an heir because, while it is dark, her heart is pure. She has power and knows how to wield it; was only in Hogwarts for less than a day before she had it on its knees awaiting her orders."
"That was because Fleur and the twins." She argued glaring at her husband,
"Who follows Anarell's order, the three of them were no doubt on their way to ruling Hogwarts themselves but when Anarell got there and people saw the three of them following a first year without hesitation." Nicholas let the rest of the sentence hang for a bit before speaking again, "I want our legacy to continue Nell and since we couldn't have kids of our own and when rituals for such a thing were made and proven successful, your body wouldn't have been able to deal with the strain we took our time at immortality. Anarell can carry on our name, there are spells and potions and an abundance of different ways for her and Fleur to have kids when they want. I heard Anarell muttering when I was helping her with her outfit today that: 'I'm not sure how Fleur feels about being a baby factory from the day she graduates till she's about 26. Our parents were talking about it and I listened in a bit. Fuck I don't know how I feel about eight kids.' Wouldn't you rest easy knowing our earnings aren't being wasted that the heir to our name would be a hard working induvial trying to make a name for themselves?"
Dawn Thather sighed silently as she looked out the windows of the Burrow at the night sky and the stars that lit it. Her 'parents' were talking to Molly and Arthur about Merlin knows what, Percy was out with his girlfriend, Bill and Charlie were somewhere far away from their family and Ron was outside trying to fly on one of the worn out brooms from the last century. She hated, much like Aries when he was Neville, the life she lived; having found out recently that she was kidnapped by the Thather family, Irish purebloods, under orders of Albus the day she was born and her mother's, her real one, memory of having a second child was Obliviated. Her mother family didn't know of the pregnancy since Albus never let the woman have a moment alone, just wanted to make sure she was isolaed enoght to make his next move. Dawn, which wasn't even real name, should be in her second year of Hogwarts by now but no she was kept at home, and didn't even have a wand. Her 'mother' would rather her stay home and learn how to cook as well as clean the house, since they didn't have house elves, for whatever dumb and probably fucked up reason, before she was married off to Ron if the plan for him getting Luna fails. Merlin she wants an out from this life and she can't even send an owl to her real mother or other family members because no one would let her close to one.
Looking up Dawn saw Hedwig making her way to the window she sat in. Looking around she realized no one else saw the bird coming and smiled to herself, this was her chance. Moving quickly Dawn stole one of her 'mother's' nutrient and minor healing potions, the Thather's were the abusive and neglectful type bu didn't want to be caught, giving them both to the weakened owl. She grabbed a letter that she wrote, one she never thought she'd be able to send out, and showed the name on it to Hedwig before she tied it next to Harry's. She grabbed some bacon that she made minutes before looking out the window and fed it to Hedwig. She looked over her shoulder at the sound of her 'parents' and the Weasley's, Ron, Molly, Arthur and Percy, coming her way. She held Hedwig took until she got to the window and sat her down, without further promoting leaving the pink headed pre-teen staring after her only shot of freedom. She laid her head down on the window sill and closed her eyes losing herself in a daydream.
"Dawn, come help Molly and I cook dinner." She ignored her 'mother's' calling, mostly because she couldn't tell she had actually spoken. "Dawn!" Jumping up quickly out of fright, Dawn chair tipped backwards taking her down with it. Hitting her head hard on the ground she let out a mute scream of pain before clutching her head in both hands. Merlin if stories of her older sister are right than she's not sure which of the two of them is worse; she blames it on her birth father, her mother's family is far to graceful to be so clumsy.
"Shit, what the bloody hell are you yelling for?" Kristen looked at her 'daughter' for a minute before turning to her husband. With a sigh Darby took over for his wife,
"Mind your hands young lady, just because your mother can't understand sign language doesn't give you the right to curse, Dawnie. Now go help her and Molly make dinner for everyone." Glaring at her 'father' her mute girl then smirked before walking to the kitchen while changing her appearance to match Bellatrix's when she was a fifth year at Hogwarts. The woman tormented her 'mother' relentlessly because of her stalker like crush on Rodolphus when she attend, often following him and doing what he asked, other than stop following him, without question or hesitation.
"Change your appearance." She looked at her mother before taking the form of Andromeda when she was a third year, they had been friends then until Andy told her it was all to get information for Bellatrix, and rising a brow at her mother. Maybe that's why Kristen had no problem taking her and suppressing her so much, maybe that's they took away her voice and tried to bind her Metamorphic abilities; all in the name of revenge. Take the daughter of a woman you once trusted with all your dark secrets and fuck her life up as much as you can for what her mother did to you. Pathetic. With a smirk she turned and started to cut up a few carrots Molly put out for dinner. If she was going to be forced to do things she would force them to look in to the young faces of those they oppose. She's flipped through all of her 'parent's' Hogwarts yearbooks and spent weeks perfecting not only morphing her body to march theirs but their mannerism and facial expressions. If she could talk there's no doubt she would have done their voices as well. Until she was free she would torment them with the faces of those they hate.
Had to change the last bit of the story, got called on another fuck up.
