Ok, guys sorry for taking so long to post this chapter been busy with work and just like in general. As a note to everyone I have started writing a little differently on all chapter after this one since I did not want redo something that I have already written so be read for it. Tsukihime Date with the princess
Arcueid glared at Shiki coldly as Naya started to stir from her sleep rubbing his eyes as she looked around the room. "So Shiki, I had no idea that you are that this kind of person", her tone turning cold as she stared her anger boiling over through her eyes. "N-no, you are mistaken Arcueid it not that way! She is my familiar created with my blood. Arcueid pauses looking at Naya who now staring back at her with her emotionless blue eyes. "Why do you need a familiar Shiki", she asks her tone still cold but not as fridge as it was before. "My master made her to help with me hunting the vampires and with my normal job. She may not look it but she was made with my blood so she had all my abilities and knows how to use them." Naya thoughts connected to Shiki asking who Arcueid was he looked over to her giving her a quick and easy answer.
"That still does not explain why you did not keep your promise yesterday, Shiki. I waited all night and you did not show up at all. I came to find you this morning and find you pleasantly sleeping away with the girl in your bed. I had to resist the urge to rip your throat out so that you can never disappoint me again." She said such scare things as her crimson eye radiating her anger with him and he resisted the urge to pull his glasses just in case things went bad. "I am sorry I did not come last night breaking my promise with you. I promise you it will never happen again and that I will make up for it." At this Arcueid goes silent staring at as she hovered over him her eyes still cold. "Are you sure", she asked her tone sounding like she did not believe him. "Yes, I am sure. Because I now realize your revenge is a scary thing, Arcueid", he said looking away and raising his hands in surrender.
Then like the wind blowing away a cloud Arcueid's bad mood disappears completely as she give a satisfied nod and says ok. Arcueid moves away from the bed giving Shiki some breathing room and he get up from the bed stretching his sore muscles. He looks over to her as she stands with back against the wall obviously not leaving his room. "What are you doing", he asked as he turned to face her as he finished stretching his muscles. "What am I doing? I am just waiting for you to change. You are not going to go out in those clothes, right?" "Well, yeah no one walks around in pajamas…Wait, Arcueid", he stops midsentence realizing what was happing. "Yeah, I was thinking we should spend the day together, Shiki. You said you would make it up for breaking you promise, did you not?" At her casual speech Shiki slaps his hand against his forehead knowing he has to go with her.
"Fine, let me tell Satsuki about this and Naya will be going with us since I cannot leave her alone all day. Please wait for me in front of the house." Arcueid nods happily and then hops out the window jumping from the nearby tree branches to the ground. Shiki gives himself the normal injection of the serum and then he quickly changes clothing putting his gear on underneath it all. He looks over at Naya who was watching him her legs dangling from the end of the bed after he told her that she would be accompanying him around town. He pulls to small knives from his there hiding place and walks over to her and hands them to her. "These are to protect yourself only, you got that", he said his tone sound like a scolding adult. Naya nodded to him quickly as she moved the two small knives into the pocket at the bottom of her dress.
They then went and told Satsuki that he and Naya would be skipping to help out a the Arcueid and after giving them both a hug goodbye the two of them exited then left the mansion quickly avoid contact with the maids or Akiha. He and Naya walk out the front gate holding hands and finds Arcueid standing with her back to them mumbling something. After talking with her briefly about why she was feeling strange then three of them quickly head of into down the street. Arcueid walking beside Shiki and Naya he skipping steps tapping on the sidewalk as they arrived at left the residential district and entered the crowded streets. Both of them walk in silence while Shiki wracks his brain for a place to take Arcueid while Naya through an occasional glance at the stressed look on his face. He finally decides on going to see a movie since it is something she has probable never done before and he directs her to the nearby movie theater.
Two hours later after going to a random film since there were not any good one playing the three of them leave the movie theater Shiki fearing that he had made a mistake, but Arcueid bright smile dispels this as she tell him that she had fun. Naya stares at him from the other side the message she sends him telling him that she had like the movie as well and Shiki let a small victory smile appear on his face. Shiki's and Naya's stomachs grumbled while Arcueid fired of sentence one after the other excitedly, and Shiki quickly lead her to a nearby fast-food restaurant to fill their stomachs. Once they are all seated and have their food they all dig in while Shiki and Arcueid talk about nothing in particular. Shiki uses the chance to find out more about Arcueid and is surprised at how she had spent her life up until then sleeping away in a castle until vampires show up.
After pick more information from Arcueid about herself and they finished their meals and leave the restaurant with full stomachs to go window shopping until the day is over. After Shiki buys a few things for himself and Arcueid they find themselves in front of his school with the sun setting in the sky. After finding the school strangely empty for once and the next thing Shiki knows Arcueid is in front of one of the schools front doors about the break it open. Shiki quickly stops her, but is convinced by her to break open the lock with his eyes and give her a tour of the inside of the school. After leading her around for a little while and talking about his life in general Shiki finally come to come to a stop in his homeroom and he sit down on top of his desk with Naya asleep in his arms. As Arcueid fire off random question at him and then out of nowhere Arcueid mood change as she speaks with him. She tell him that she thinks human strange and that for some reason she has broken as more and more emotions that she had never used before pop up.
"Broken, what do you mean; you look pretty normal to me", Shiki speaks as he looks her over he himself not finding anything wrong with her what so ever. "Maybe on the outside, but I am different on the inside. Happiness and pain, all these extra feeling are becoming greater. I cannot ignore thing that I used to be able to in the past. So I am broken, right? And also, I am not normal. I am different from you, Shiki I am a vampire." Shiki cannot say anything as Arcueid turns her back to him and laughing at herself not knowing what to do, and he realizes that she seems perfectly normal to him despite her abilities. He tell her this and he seems to calm down a little, so he teases her breaking her completely away from her sad mood as she huff in anger at him. After talking for a little bit more they leave the school building finding the streets dark since it is past seven thirty.
As the walk to the park together Naya stirs in Shiki arms and wakes up as she hold on to him searching around them as they walked. As the come to a stop in the park Shiki put down Naya and as he and Arcueid bicker with each other, which was now a common occurrence between the two of them. The two of them sit down and a nearby bench while Naya walks over the nearby fountain and plays gazes in the dark water curiously. Shiki smile up at the moon and then jumps up as he remembers what had happened two nights ago. "Ah, Shiki, what is wrong, did you see the dead", Arcueid asks as she stares up at him in shock. "No, it is not that, I forgot something really important. Arcueid I was attacked two nights ago by a strange person." He then sits back down and tells Arcueid what happened in detail not leaving anything out as she listen intently.
As he finishes he notices that Arcueid eyes grow sharper and colder as she glares off to the side her shoulders now ridged. "So, I assume that you know both of them, judging by your reaction", Shiki asked and she confirmed it with curt nod. She quickly tells him about her target in the city and that the man with bandages most is the person she was looking for. She then confirms so fact about Ciel that Shiki had already known and then gave him a few that he did not. Arcueid gets up agitatedly and pace in a circle in front of the bench while Shiki sits silently pondering what she had just told him the time going flicker by. Shiki texts his master to confirm some of the information and then he calls Satsuki and tell her that he would be running late that night, to which he receives her reply of be safe before he hangs up. Like that two hours pass them by and the people disappear from street as the time becomes approaches for them to go hunting.
Shiki, Arcueid, and Naya walked down the dark streets as they searched for vampires while avoiding the crowed in the shadows. Shiki had taken his normal glasses off and was now wearing the pair made to enhance his vision and gives him statics of his surroundings and through his connection with Naya he could feel her senses searching for any signs of a possible enemy like radar. When Arcueid was not looking Shiki would sniff the air and taste it with his tongue to see if he could pick up the scent of anything that had crossed by. They came to a halt at a street corner and that when the smell hit Shiki nose and Naya radar went off, the stifling scent of decay flowed as the a night breeze blew past a man standing with his back on a street lamp. Shiki focused his eye on him and man was painted black with shear amount of death on his body. The man eyes moved to where Shiki and the other two stood and then he bolted running quickly into a nearby alley.
Two knives slips into both of Shiki hands and then he burst forward motioning for Naya to stay with Arcueid while he took care of things. As Shiki got out of Arcueid's sight he kicked up the speed and leapt to the top of a nearby building as he followed the vampires scent through the back alleys. Shiki caught up to the Dead as he was dashing though the alley and he flipped his wrist forward throwing one of the knives at his target as he leapt into the alley. The knife flashed forward and cut across the line on the vampires' leg, severing limb and sending the Dead tumbling over. Shiki slide to a stop next to Dead and pulls the knife out of the ground with a satisfied smile. He reaches underneath his jacket and pulls the short sword out slowly as he looks around to make sure no one was watching him. That when the hoarse gurgling laugh came from Dead and Shiki stiffened as a chill ran down his spine and his sense screamed at him.
Shiki leapt up from the ground slashing the vampire across his line as he did so killing it and ending it hunting laugh. A loud crash rings out and were Shiki had been standing was a crater with the contorted remains of a dumpster at is center. Sensed something behind as he flew toward the top of a wall he quickly kick the wall sending himself back towards the ground. He looked up to where he was going to land and found around twelve of The Dead staring at him with blood shot eyes from either side of the alley walls. Shiki drawls the knife from his pocket and while switching his grip on the short sword as he hears rustling behind him doubt from more of The Dead surrounding him. Shiki lets a small wry smile appear on his face and he let out a dissatisfied sigh at realizing he had walked into a trap. He lowered his stance waiting for them to make the first move knowing that these were just puppet that needed their strings to be pulled.
The was a rustling sound from behind Shiki and he leapt backward flipping as two of The Dead rushed through where he had just been, and he slashes through the their line as he lands softly on his feet. That is when the Dead moved, pouring into the alley from all sides attempting to over whelm him with numbers. Shiki ducked as four of them slashed at their clawed hand over his head and his hands shot forward moving faster than a normal human eye could see stabbing the weapons into the Spots of Death one after the other in succession causing all of them to turn into dust instantly. Shiki rushed forward low to the ground slashing at all line indiscriminately cutting down the Dead before as the rushed at him. Shiki kicked one kick his foot out connecting with the face of one of the Dead and he used it to leap up above the crowed of the Dead that kept growing as more of them poured into the alley. Shiki gritted his teeth and reached into his inside jacket pocket as he turned midair with his feet facing the wall that he was flying toward.
His feet came in contact with the wall and he bent his knees and pushed off as he pulled his hand from h pocket. He pressed the button on a small sphere and tossed it into the crowed of the Dead below him as he shot toward the exit to the alley. Shiki landed on his hand and flipped himself as there was an intense flash of light behind him white flames engulfed the crowed of the Dead incinerating them all. Slide to a stop as the white flames shot past him the ring his master had given him shielding him from them, as slipped the dagger and the knife back underneath his jacket. The flash died down and then was in the alley was filled with ash and a few severed limbs that were still burning. Shiki took a step forward back into the alley and then came to a stop as he felt a ripple go through the air as his mind screamed that there was something behind him.
Shiki slowly turned his head around slowly and looked into the shadows deeper in the alley were a pair of blood red eyes gleamed with a crimson light. Shiki felt a chill runs his down his spine and he felt that this was not just a simple member of The Dead as he turned the rest of his body slowly. As he turned the eyes disappeared and Shiki could barely see the outline of someone as the leap up over the wall of the alley and disappeared, leaving Shiki alone in the alley. Shiki let out a long and slow breath as he leaned against the nearby wall as an invisible pressure faded from his chest. Looked down at his cloths and let out a hollow grown finding the clothing shredded and coated in blood. He had not come out of the fight unscathed he noticed as pain shot through his body from the numerous cut and scratches that had were starting to heal. He shook his and slipped the two knives back into his sleeves already trying to think of an excuse to give Arcueid and Akiha later on.
He turned back around, slipped his glasses back on, and walks through the alley all is small wounds throbbing as they healed. He stepped out of the alley a few minutes later and came to a stop in front of Arcueid who was wearing an expression that was a mix of anger and worry. "Shiki why did you run off like that, and why are you covered in scratches," she asked crossing her arms and glaring at him while Naya quickly ran over to him and wrapped her arms around his waist holding on to him tightly. He felt her thoughts brush against his own as she conveyed her worry to him. He smile at her gently and patted her on the head before turning to look back up at Arcueid who was growing impatient with him. He let out a small sigh as he picked Naya up off the ground and held her in his arms and motioned with a nod of his head for them to start walking.
She stared at him skeptically for a few second then nodded back giving in and the proceeded to walk down the side walk. After clearing his throat which was dry Shiki glanced over to Arcueid and found her glancing back at him. "Alright, after I chased The Dead into the alley there was a trap set with a whole lot more of them waiting for me. That is the reason I have scratches they came at me in a large group and tried to overwhelm me." After saying this Shiki felt something poke one of the small cuts and he looked down to find Naya small fingers examining while the wound healed. He resisted the urge to stop her and focused back on his conversation with Arcueid after shaking his head. "After I killed them all an actual vampires showed itself for a minute then disappeared."
Shiki glanced over at Arcueid as they walked and he found that her face had that serious look on her face that she had shown him earlier. She remained quiet like that for several while they walked keep her eyes on the path ahead. Then after a short while she finally spoke up almost catching Shiki by surprise since he himself had been lost in thought. "Shiki was it the same man who attacked you the other night", she asked glancing him with unreadable eyes. She shook his head as the came to a stop in front of a crosswalk. "I do not know I did not get a good look at whoever it was. They fled before I could get a go look at the vampire." At hearing this Arcueid nodded and then looked off into the distance get lost in thought again.
About twenty minutes later they arrived back at the park were they had started from the time on the nearby clock saying it was around two in the morning. Naya was asleep in Shiki arms her head resting lightly against on his shoulder. They came to a stop in front of the clock and turned to face each other both of their minds not completely focus on reality. "Well I guess I need to be heading home Arcueid Shiki", said quietly as to not wake Naya up. Arcueid nodded to him a small smile appearing on her troubled face. "Ok, then I guess that I will see you tomorrow Shiki", she said and the turned with a wave disappearing into the shadows. Shiki watch the place she disappeared for a few minutes then he turns himself and starts to head home.
Shiki arrives back at the mansion gate a few minute later having run through the shadows using his vampire speed. He tests the gate with his foot and finds it unlocked this and he lets out a sigh of relief as his body relaxes a little. He quickly walks through the gate and shuts it behind him working his way toward the front door of the mansion. He slowly opens the door and sneaks in side keep his eyes and ears at the read should Akiha or one of the maids show up. When no one showed up eh quickly locked the door and headed up stairs to his room. He entered his room quietly finding Satsuki sleeping on the bed quietly snoring. Shiki let a small smile appear on his face as he walked forward and set Naya down on the bed next to Satsuki. Then being completely exhausted himself he laid down beside two to of them and quickly falls asleep.
Shiki woke up the next morning to a soft sensation lightly pressing against his forehead and his eye fluttered open. He found Satsuki face close to his own a light smile on her face as she blushed from ear to ear. "G-good morning", she said look to the side and pulling her face back away from Shiki's the blush intensifying. She was stopped however as Shiki wrapped around her back and before she could get away pulled her up against his chest. "Shi-Shiki-kun", was all she was able to say as her face turned beat red as she weakly pushed against his chest unable to put strength in to her arms. She gave up as Shiki pressed his lips lightly against hers and earning a quiet whimper as she gave up. After a minute Shiki pulled his face slightly away from hers and as she let out a sigh as she put a pout on her face.
"You are so unfair Shiki-kun", she said her in a winy tone as she stared up at him with a pitiful look in her eyes. Next to them Naya twitched in her sleep and rolled over with wrapping her arms around Shiki's waist with a content look on her face. "Shhhhsh, you will wake her up", he whispered while putting his fingers over his mouth with a small smiling on his face. He lightly kissed her on the lips once again this time with her wrapping her arms around his back. After a few minutes they pulled away from each other and Satsuki rested her head on Shiki chest. "Ugh, I woke up angry at you for staying out so late, but…ugh." "I am sorry I had to work all yesterday", Shiki said rubbing the back of her head while staring out the window.
"You know that you sister is even more angry with you then I am, Shiki. She even asked me if I knew were you were her eyes filled with anger. She can be quiet scary whenever she gets anger." Shiki said nothing but let out a hollow sigh having already figured out that he was in trouble with Akiha. He shook his head then kissed her once on the top her once before letting go of her. "Well, I am going to go and wash my face. You should go and get a change of clothes for you and Naya while I do that. After that you should wait her in my room while I talk to Akiha. " Satsuki nodded and let go of him as he got up off the bed moved to the door. Behind him Satsuki gently picked up Naya in her arms and walked out of the room and toward her own room while Shiki went towards the bathroom.
Ten minute later after having cleaned himself up quickly and changed into a clean school uniform and was now heading for the sitting room with Satsuki waiting for him back in his room. He stopped in front of the door and took in a long and slow breath. Then he pushed the door open and walked into the sitting room taking it one step at a time. He found Akiha staring at the door as he entered his eyes set in her old set in a cold glare. "Nii-san, where do you go too yesterday, and why were you gone until late last night", she said imposing a difficult question on him straight off the bat her tone sounding extremely cold anger. She walked into the room and sat down opposite her noticing that both Hisui and Kohaku were staring at him from behind her. He let out a sigh as he crossed his legs and stared back into his her eyes.
"I have to give you the same answer from before that I cannot tell where I was. I can only say that I have not done anything wrong and that I was helping a friend in need." He stopped speaking and noticed that Akiha eyes hardened and as she got more angry. Her hand grasped the edges of her uniform as so tightly that the color was draining from them. "That will not suffice as an answer this time Nii-san. I have been patient with you Nii-san, but I can no longer do that. You disappear for several days at a time, you come home with a girlfriend and a child, and now you are repeating the process over again. I am sorry Nii-san but I can no longer to you at your word!" She stood up at the last yelling the last sentence at her anger getting the better of her.
She took a closed her eyes, took a long breath, and pinched the bridge of her nose as she tried to calm herself down "As it I now, need to keep an eye on you from now on, so I will be installing security camera along all the outsides of the mansion. I also from now on will be attending the same school as you starting today so that I can keep an eye on you myself." She then let out a long breath and then sat down on the couch and giving him a meaning full stair. Shiki stared back at her his mouth agape in disbelief at what she had just told him for several long minutes. He shook resisted the urge to yell at her that this was ridicules but knowing Akiha it would not do him any good in this situation. He pinched the bridge of his nose and shook his head weakly in resignation of her stubbornness.
"Whatever fine do whatever you want Akiha, it your education that you are hurting. Though this will most likely not go how you want it to go." With that Shiki returned her stare and she gave him a curt nod before heading into the dining room to eat breakfast since she would join him at school from now on. He shook his head and went back to get Satsuki and Naya from his room while dial the Light-san number. He quickly set it up for Light-san to come and pick up Naya to watch her while the he Satsuki go to school. He then arrived back at him room and quickly filled both of them in on what would be happening from then.
Thirty minutes later Shiki, Akiha, and Satsuki after having passed Naya on to Light-san were now on their way to school in silence. Akiha walk a few steps behind Shiki and Satsuki who were holding hands sharing knowing stares every now and then. After the usual twenty minute this time in awkward silence arrived at the school gates with barely any other students walking around. "Nii-san, can you please take me to the office. I need to finish my registration and meet with the principle". He nods in ascent to her and gesture for her to follow. Shiki lead Akiha to office quickly and quietly ignoring the stairs from the others students. He comes to a stop in front of a door with Administrative Office labeled on the door and he motions to Akiha. "Hear it is, Akiha. Umm, I am sure they will have someone lead you to your class, but a lunch meat me in the courtyard underneath the huge tree, alright Akiha?" She gives him a small smile and a nod then head through the door into the classroom.
Shiki and Satsuki arrive at their class a few minutes later and go Shiki's desk were they talk with each other until the bell rings and the teacher walks into the classroom. It was a few hours later after later during recess Arihiko showed up at class with a strange grin on his face. "Tohno, why did you not tell me that you have a sister", Arihiko states his tone sound more series then his face looked. Shiki let out a sigh and hold his head in his hands. "Where did you here that I have sister", he states not even looking up knowing that Arihiko had used mostly likely heard the gossip already. "Uwaaa, so you do have one after all", he said his body seeming to twitch in excitement. With that he gets up and runs off a strange look on his face as he mumbles some unintelligible sentences. Classes continue with Shiki regretting letting his sister come to his school.
The bell rings announcing the start of lunch break and Shiki and Satsuki both get up head out into the hallway holding hands. While walking Shiki spots Ciel walking down the corridor and slows down exiting through a side door avoiding her after seeing her that a few nights ago. They quickly take a short cut to the cafeteria and buy some food then head to the courtyard. There they find Akiha sitting on the bench where he had told her to wait. "Ah, good Akiha you are here. We bought your food for you do not have to go and get anything." Akiha nods as they sit down next to her and Shiki hands her a sandwich and I can of juice making sure she knows how to open them first before he pulls his own food out of the bag. Like that they began to eat lunch in peace even after Arihiko shows up with his lunch.
The day ends without much happening and the meet Akiha at the gate to the school as they had planned, but just when they were about to leave. "Ah, Tohno-kun, you came at last", Shiki hears a familiar voice and he lets out dry sigh as he turn around while putting on his façade to see Ciel approaching them. "Huh, Senpai did you want something", he said his tone switching to the false ignorance. "Yes, Tohno-kun I was waiting so that I could talk with you but…" and she stops mid-sentences and glances over at Akiha. "Tohno-kun, is this your little sister", Ceil asks even though she with no doubt already knows who she is. Shiki glance as Akiha out the corner of his eyes and notices that she is telling him to introduce with her eyes.
Shiki resist the urge to sigh and turns back to Ciel a fake smile on his face. "Senpai, this is my younger sister, Akiha. She transferred to our school just today." After her introduction his sister bows politely in greeting a blank look on her face. "I see, Hello. My name is Ciel and I am a friend of Tohno-kun", she stated simple but attempting to use her suggestion which seems to just bounce off Akiha as she coldly stares back Ciel. Shiki take this note down in his head as he watch the two of them and the cold atmosphere that was brewing around them. "So, Senpai you sounded like you were waiting for me. What is going on?" "Oh, well I just happened that I wanted to spend a little time with you but…since it is already late today. I will leave it for another time. Bye Tohno-kun, see you tomorrow, and you as well Akiha-san."
Ciel turn and start to walk away but Shiki decided that now is a good a time as any to make sure of something. "Hold on Senpai, there is something that I need to discuss with you", he said stopping her in her tracks and turns to Akiha and Satsuki. "Um, I need to speak with her for a minute can the two of you start heading home without me. I will catch up with you in a few minutes." Satsuki and Akiha both stare at him for a minute and then Satsuki nodded motioning for Akiha to come with her. Akiha looked a Shiki for a few long seconds then nodded to him and then the two of the left the school grounds leaving Shiki and Ciel alone. "So what is it you want to talk about", Ciel asked giving him her full attention. She walks up to Shiki and he turn to look at her a blank look on his face as he motioned for her to follow him to the back of the school without saying a word.
The arrive at the back of the school and Shiki leans his back against the school building as Ciel comes to a stop in front of him. He stared at quietly as for a few minutes acting like he did not know what to say and then he final cleared his throat. "A few nights ago I was out walking and I could have sworn that I saw you dressed in a strange outfit", he said watching his face closely to see how she reacted to his question. The corners of her lips twitched downward for a minute and her eyes briefly flashed before she put on her own façade. "I do not know what you are talking about Tohno-kun. I do not go out late at night and you should not either." "Hmm, are you sure I could have sworn that I saw you wearing a priest outfit the other night. It was at a distance, but it really did look like you."
After he said this Ciel eyes visible flickered again turning cold enough to send a chill down Shiki spine for the instant that they changed. But then her eyes quickly changed back normal as she spoke up again her tone sound like always. "Nope, Tohno-kun, I am afraid that I was at home studying that night. You must have seen someone else or been daydreaming." At the last part Ciel eyes flashed and Shiki felt his rings block her attempt at suggestion magic on him yet again. He stared at her calmly for a few short seconds then rubbed the back of his head a allowing a fake smile appear on his face. "I guess you are right Senpai. I must be mistaken, it was not you." Ciel nodded back to him seeming satisfied that her suggestion had worked. "Well the Senpai I better go and catch up with Satsuki and Akiha. I will see you tomorrow." With the he bowed to her and then ran off leaving her waving behind him as he left through the schools back gates.
After that Shiki quickly caught back up with Akiha and Satsuki while they were waiting at the cross walk and walked back to the mansion about random things as they walked. When they arrived at the mansion Light-san pulled up dropping off Naya, who jumped into Shiki and Satsuki's arms a happy smile on her face. With Akiha left having to take her room to get some of her work done leaving the rest of them heading off toward Shiki's room. Once there they Satsuki with Naya in arms plopped down on the bed and started playing a game with her while Shiki went to his desk and turned on the computer. Light-san and handed him a flashlight before she had driven off and told him to check. His slipped the drive into the computer and a window asking for a password popped up. He quickly entered a four digit code and the contents a single file scrolled across the screen in a window the name of the file being Ciel.
Two hours later Shiki sat a little dazed after having read through Ciel entire life which was a lot more complicated than he had thought. His master had given him the entire file bearing her history and all her secrets bare for him to use should he need to. He felt after reading her file that he understood her a little better and her motivation which improved his opinion of her. Felt a tap on his shoulder as he finished reading he turned find Naya standing beside him. She quickly climbed into his lap and wrapped her arms around his chest hugging him as content smile appearing on her face as she did so. Shiki smiled back and ruffled her hair while wrapping his other arm around her to hugging her back. He turned to face the bed a found Satsuki staring back at him a small smile on her face as she watched to the two of them. "You know she actually looks like she is your daughter, Shiki-kun", she said her tone sound happy and earning her a nod of agreement from Shiki.
It was now after dinner and Shiki and Satsuki were standing a few meters away from each other both of the in low crouch as the stared at each other. There was a blur of movement and Shiki left foot shot side way toward Satsuki head at vampire speed. Satsuki eyes caught this and she ducked under the blow clumsily and slashed upward with her finger like claws and aimed for Shiki chin, but he quickly knocked her hand to the side with his elbow and thrust his own had forward knocking her back on to her butt on the floor. "Alright, you are doing well so far, but you need to trust your sense a little more. Your vampire abilities will give you advantage is most fights you need to be able to keep up with them." She took her hand and pulled her off the floor with a small smile on his face.
When Shiki and Satsuki had gone to the mansion two days ago, Light-san and Karin had transferred some of the knowledge of fighting over to Satsuki using a technique invented by Shiki master. They had given her the knowledge of how to fight but she still required practice to train her how to use the knowledge. So, Shiki would now be sparing her a night before they go to bed using basic fighting skills that need to be drilled into her. Shiki was also trying to draw all any gift that she had hidden away that she herself did not know about. Since she had met the rare one in a million genetic requirements that allowed her to skip being a dead and become a Dead Apostle she was bound to have some hidden skill abilities unique to her and her alone. But so far she had shown no special skills and had lost to Shiki five times already, though she had come close to hitting him several times.
The two of them separated from each other as soon as Satsuki was on her feet and they both dropped back into a crouch read to fight Naya watched them with interest showing in her from her place on the bed. This time Satsuki rushed low to the ground and slashed out with her finger at Shiki legs put all her speed into the attack. Shiki spotted her attack flipped backward kicking his foot downward at her face as he dodged her attack. Satsuki rolled to side and spun her body in a full kick aimed for Shiki's side as he landed facing her. Satsuki foot was stopped as Shiki brought up his elbow and then he grabbed her foot underneath his arm and pulled knocking her off balance. She flew forward and Shiki caught her against his chest wrapping his arms around her back a small smile on his face at his victory. "Well it looks like I win again, that will be enough for tonight", a said as he pulled her closer and planted a kiss on her lips quickly before she started sulking.
He pulled away from her and she stuck out her lip in a small pout as her face turned bright red from ear to ear. After a few seconds her arms wrapped his back in turn and she let a small smile appear on her own face. "It still not fair that you do that that to me, Shiki-kun", she said her tone having only a hint of discontent in it. "Oh, I think that it is perfectly fine. I mean you do seem to love it when I kiss you, do you not?" "Ehhh, w-wha", is all she was able to speak as the blush on her face intensified and she averted her eyes. "That is not fair Shiki-kun", she whispered as she continued looking away while she gripped the back of Shiki shirt tightly with her fingers. Shiki smiled again and the brought his face closer to her again for another kiss this time she with her kissing him back.
After they both had taken their bath Naya taking her with Satsuki the all got on to into the bed with Naya in between them with her arm wrapped around Satsuki as she slept. She was staying with them until they fell asleep then he was going to go and hunt for the vampire with Arcueid. "Hey, Shiki-kun", whispered Satsuki as to not wake up Naya. "Hmm, what is it?" What is it exactly you are when you go out at night with that woman?" "Hmm, we are hunting the vampire who turned you in one so we can kill him. Though, we have different reason for doing so. She is hunting to regain her power from him, and I am hunting him because he a threat to my friends and family." He looked over at Satsuki and she nodded once before closing her eyes not having any more question for him.
