Emma and Alex left Kujo and went back to the jeep. Liam opened the door and waited for them to get in.
Emma instructed Liam to take her to town hall and to then head back to the Granny's with Alex.
Liam nodded and drove back to town.
Regina was on the phone with Charming asking about the files she asked for two days ago when she noticed the black jeep pull up outside.
She saw the teen get out of the car and open the door. Emma hopped out and started walking toward the front door.
Regina cut David off mid explanation and said, "Forget it. Just have it on my desk by Monday." and then hung up.
Emma knocked on her office door and opened it. Emma peaked her head in and said, "Hey, this a bad time?"
Regina shook her head and said, "No come in."
Emma walked in and walked over to Regina's desk, bending down to give her a kiss.
Regina hmmed into the kiss and said, "Hello"
Emma smiled and pulled back, "Hi."
Regina looked Emma in the eye and lifted an eyebrow, "What is it?"
Emma smiled and said, "I need to go out of town this weekend."
Regina frowned and said, "Oh. How long you going to be gone?"
Emma sighed and said, "Not sure, but I was wondering if you, Henry, Snow, and David would consider joining me. You all keep saying you want to know the old me, well I can show you a little. And trust me it wasn't all bad."
Regina was shocked, she wasn't expecting Emma to invite her into her past just like that; but who was she to look a gift horse in the mouth, "Yea of course. But Henry needs to be back for school"
Emma nodded, "I'm hoping it will only be the weekend, and Monday and Tuesday Henry has off anyway for teacher meetings."
Regina nodded and said, "Well I guess we could pick him up a little early and book the flights. We also need to tell Snow and David."
Emma nodded, "Actually I have the flights taken care of, you just need to pack and get Henry ready please."
Regina smiled and nodded, "Alright give me 5 minutes here and I will pack up and leave."
Emma nodded and pulled out her phone calling both Snow and David, "Hey, you want to see more. Pack a bag, we are going on a little trip. Be ready in 45 minutes. I will pick you up."
By the time Emma was done with her phone call Regina was ready.
Of course when they picked Henry up early and told him the news he was ecstatic. Regina, Emma, and Henry all packed within 30 minutes and climbing into a Cadillac Escalade XL.
Snow and David were standing outside when the car pulled up. The teenager opened the trunk, placed their duffels in the trunk and opened the back doors allowing Snow and David to enter.
When they got into the car they noticed how spacious it was inside. They sat down and looked at Emma, but she wasn't paying attention.
Regina was leaning against Emma but looking straight ahead and Henry was in the far back watching something on the built in tv.
Snow and David just sat quietly and looked out the window.
When they got to the airport Snow asked, "What airline are we taking? I hear some still give out those snack packs."
Emma answered not looking up, "We aren't taking a commercial airline"
Before another question could be asked the car stopped. Emma closed her iPad and put it into her bag. Liam opened her door first and said, "We will unload everything. Alex is already on board."
Emma nodded and said, "Keep the car. explore just be here whenever I call."
Liam nodded and said, "Thank you."
Emma grabbed her stuff and told everyone to bring their carry on and leave their luggage. Everyone was out of the car and following Emma when a muscular man in sunglasses stepped in front of Emma.
David tensed and Regina held Henry back. Emma looked up, smiled, and said, "Well if it ain't tiny Eddie."
The muscular man smiled and grabbed Emma into a hug, lifting her off the ground.
Eddie put her back down and said, "Look at you, still sexy as ever. Damn girl."
Emma rolled her eyes and said, "Never, not even in your dreams."
Eddie laughed and said, "this the fam? Regina, Henry, Mary-Margaret, and David. Right?"
Emma nodded and said, "Yup. hey she ready to go?"
Eddie nodded and said, "Yup, just needs your sexy ass."
Emma laughed and punched Eddie in the arm, "Thanks perv."
Eddie said, "Anytime you know that. And she is always yours."
Emma smiled and said, "Come on, lets board."
When they climbed the stairs everyone's eyes widened in surprise. The interior was fabulous. Leather reclining chairs, a massive 55' TV, a fully stocked bar. Wooden finishings, a full queen sized bed. This was an apartment.
Alex was sitting on the couch laughing at everyone stunned faces. Emma sat next to Alex and took her iPad out.
Everyone took their seats getting comfortable awaiting take off.
Snow looked around and said, "Emma. What, how? How did you afford this?"
Regina even had to ask, "I am intrigued as well." Regina then whispered, "Is this Kujo's doing?"
Emma took a breath and said, "I can afford this because I own it. It's my plane."
Regina looked at Emma in shock, "Your what?"
Emma nodded, "Yeah, I got it.. what.. 6 years ago. We were traveling a lot and I hated being on commercial flights. So I bought this baby. Eddie takes care of it for me, he knows my unique situation."
Alex laughed and said, "One of my favorite purchases of Emma's"
The pilot came on over the intercom and asked everyone to be seated as they were ready for take off.
Everyone buckled in and watched as the plane took off, leaving small Maine behind.
Emma and Alex worked while on the flight, Henry slept, Regina watched a show on tv and Snow and David just kept looking around.
When they landed it was mid evening but the sun was still out.
Emma looked around and spotted Frank. Emma waved and smiled, "Hey how you doin?
Frank smiled and said, "I ain't dead so pretty good."
Emma laughed and watched as the crew moved their luggage to the helicopter.
Regina looked at Emma and said, "Hell no."
Emma smiled and said, "Oh yes, it is faster this way. It would take over 2 hours to drive. Trust me Frank here is the best."
Frank fixed Snow, David and Henry with their ear protection and helped them up into the copter. Emma got hers and Regina's on and pulled her up with her.
Frank closed the door and gave Emma a thumbs up. Emma nodded and held Regina's hand.
Frank flew them over the beautiful Southhampton properties. It seemed the homes were getting bigger and bigger the further they went.
Frank was the descending on a property that was massive. It had roman columns, a large pool, a tennis court, a private walkway which lead to the private beach, a guest house, a pool house, a basketball court, and what looked like a 20 car garage.
Frank landed them on the lawn, turned the copter off,and gave a thumbs up. Emma smiled and opened the door.
Snow got out and said, "Emma I don't think the owners of this property would like you using their property as a landing pad."
Emma just laughed and said, "Actually they wouldn't. They greatly appreciate the close proximity."
Regina was looking at the house and said, "Dear I think, God help me, but I think your mother is right."
Emma just laughed and said, "Guys really relax." Emma started walked and then turned around and said, "Geez, come on. I own it, this is my house. So come on."
Emma continued walking to the main house, listening as Snow screamed, "WHAT!"
Emma just laughed.
By the time everyone was in a room and over the awe dinner was served.
Emma had a cook come in and make them streak, potatoes, and broccoli. Emma paid them in cash, $2,000.
The meal was perfect. Henry was tired after the excitement and decided to go upstairs and go to sleep.
Emma and Regina said good night and met Snow and David in the living room.
Emma opened a bottle of wine and poured everyone a glass.
Emma sat down and Regina read the bottle, "Emma! This is a $900 bottle of wine!"
Emma laughed and said, "Not the most I've spent. Enjoy it."
Snow looked around and said, "Emma I don't... I can't even imagine..."
Emma leaned back and sighed, "What? The money?"
Snow, David, and Regina all nodded. Regina even commented, "Emma I am no where near poor but.. this.. I can't even fathom"
David then asked, "Is this your only place?"
Emma took a sip, "No. This was the house I lived in and threw parties in over the summer. I have apartments and condos in Boston, New York City, Atlanta, Chicago, LA, London, Barcelona, Italy, Paris, and Australia."
Regina, Snow and David looked at Emma with mouths wide open.
David cleared his throat and said, "Why?"
Emma sighed and said, "Because when your life is constantly moving you want someplace to call yours. Even if only for a little while. Growing up and never having a home, I knew that where ever I traveled I wanted to have a place that I could call home. So I made a home for myself in every place that I traveled frequently."
Snow shyly looked at Emma and asked, "So how much.. umm.. how much is all of this?"
Emma shook her head, "I'm not sure. I mean I bought everything I only pay taxes and that is paid for since I rent out most of my properties. But if I was to guess over 3 Billion."
Snow was gobsmacked, "How Emma? How could you, can you afford this?"
Emma took another sip, "Well on a good run I could bring in over 1.9 million. And that was only for a could pounds, 10-15 lbs. On bigger scores.. man.. But I invested, saved.I never wanted to go back to being dirt poor, not a penny to my name, living on the streets. I had worked to hard and gave up too much."
Regina took Emma's hand and squeezed.
Emma then stood up helping Regina up as well and said, "Well it has been a long day and I need to sleep. So feel free to explore, just not the office. I need to explain that to you. But other than that make yourselves at home."
Emma tugged Regina along with her upstairs to the master bedroom and closed the door.
Emma kissed Regina and said, "I love you"
Regina smiled into the kiss and said, "I love you too"
Emma and Regina changed into their pajamas and got into bed.
Emma laid on Regina's chest listening to her heart beat. Emma mumbled, "Thank you for seeing me." before falling asleep.
Regina knew she meant seeing past the money, the job, her past and seeing the true Emma.
Regina kissed Emma on the forehead and said, "Always, baby always. You did the same for me."
