Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Life, illnesses and writers block has been getting in the way.

Hermione woke up clutching her stomach. Shooting pain ran through her. Not wanting to wake Draco up, she climbed out of bed as quietly as she could. It was a bit problematic as she as a 8 1/2 month bump in front of her. Hermione looked at the clock after seeing that it was only 2:30am decided that it would be best to lay back down. As she did so she felt water rush down her legs.

"Draco," Hermione whimpered. "My waters have broken."

Draco being a light sleeper had woken up when Hermione did. As she was trying so hard not to wake him he played along. Draco jumped out of bed grabbing his wand and sending a patrous to his mother.

"Draco we need to get to st mungo's." Hermione said trying to pull her soiled nightie over her head.

Draco rushed to her draw and pulling out a skater style dress and fresh underwear. After helping her dress, he lifted her bridal style and carried her through the floo. He rushed towards the reception desk.

"My wife's in labour, the name is Malfoy." The receptionist looked up and told him to follow the healer to their room. "What healer?"

A healer appeared behind them and lead them to the room. Draco bent down and lifted her onto the bed. Draco kissed her forehead, while whispering soothing words to her. The midwife check Hermione over.

"You're a little over 6 centimetres dilated it shouldn't be that long."

Then healer left the room and Draco turn back to Hermione and kissed her on forehead again. 3 hours later it was time to start pushing. The healer suggested that Draco sit behind Hermione for help and comfort. Draco got behind her and allowed her to grip his hands as a contraction started. After another contraction the healer said the 1st child was crowning.

"Draco, I can't it hurts so much." Hermione cried out.

"You can do it Hermione. You are the bravest most beautiful woman in the world."

A scream ripped from Hermione as she pushed with all her might. She relaxed after hearing a baby's cry. Their first-born was quickly led on Hermione's bare skin and a cleaning spell cast.

"Scorpuis, " Hermione whispered kissing the top of his head.

After a couple of minutes the assistant healer took Scorpius. Before Draco could ask, Hermione started pushing again. Their second born came out quicker than the first. The same process happened with him but instead of taking him away they placed Scorpius back on Hermione's bare skin.

"Orion," Hermione kissed his head.

Draco stared in wonder at the two little beings on the love of his life. They were no bigger than his forearm. They began to nuzzle Hermione. The healer assistant informed them that they were rooting for food and she would get some bottles.

"What for?" Hermione asked with a frown. "I'm breastfeeding them."

The healer assistant gave an odd look and explained it was not the norm for a Malfoy bride to breastfeed.

"Well you're not the Malfoy bride, I am."

Hermione turned her attention from the interfering assistant to her babies. Orion had latched on but Scorpius was finding it difficult. Draco moved his hand to help Scorpius. Once he latched on he got the hang of it. The head healer talked Hermione and Draco through techniques to help feed twins.

"When can we take them home?" Draco asked.

"Well we will let mum rest and checked over. As long as they are all fine they can go home tonight. "

Draco sent an owl to his mother, informing her of her new grandchildren. By midday Draco was signing the release papers allowing his family to return home. They were greeted with all their friends and family. Devon was the sweetest, he kept moving to who ever was holding the babies and stoked their cheeks. As the sun had set and Devon was asleep, Draco and Hermione curled up in bed with the twins either side of the bed. They were so tired the quickly fell asleep.
