Chapter 12: Joining In
Sherman got out of the bathroom, wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt with the long sleeves cut off and torn jeans.
"Ay, yo, Craig" said Sherman. "You got some Red Bull?"
"Catch" said Craig as he threw a can of Red Bull at Sherman.
Sherman catches it and opens it.
"Alright, see ya, bro" said Sherman as he walks out of the apartment.
Sherman walks out of the building and drinks his Red Bull. As Sherman kept on walking, he accidentally bumped into someone, which happens to be one of his friends, Dylan Lancer.
"Dylan" said Sherman
"Well, hello, Sherman" said Dylan. "Where are you off to?"
"I don't know, man" Sherman replied. "I just wanna go somewhere and do something, ya know?"
"Why? So you can become a ladies man?" said Dylan
"Are you gonna ask me that question? Because I've been asked that question from Craig" said Sherman
"No" Dylan replied. "But I could've. But seriously, Sherman. What is it with you and hot girls? What's your secret?"
"That's for you to find out" Sherman replied back
"Come on" said Dylan. "Let's go to my place. Manny, Brigitte, and Taffyta are there"
(At Dylan's Place)
In the living room, Manny, Brigitte, and Taffyta were watching The Jerry Springer Show. The doorbell rang and Taffyta got up and went to the door. She opened the door and standing there was Dylan and Sherman.
"What up?" said Taffyta
"Yo, let me in" said Sherman
"Get in, cute boy" Taffyta replied
Dylan and Sherman entered into the living room.
"Looks who's here" said Sherman
Manny and Brigitte looked back and sees Sherman.
"I don't care" said Manny. "I'm watching Dawn of the Dead"
"Yo, Sherman" said Taffyta. "Sit down. I believe you have something to say to us about your real father"
"Where'd you hear this?" Sherman asked
"Craig and Sulley" Taffyta replied
"Those guys" Sherman muttered
"Sit, cute boy" said Taffyta
Sherman sat down on a chair and spoke to them. As Sherman was about to speak, the doorbell rang again.
"I got it" said Sherman as he got up to the door.
Sherman walked towards the front door and opens it. Standing there was Kyle and Vanellope.
"Hey, what up?" said Sherman
Kyle and Vanellope entered in the living room.
"We got your message, Taff" said Vanellope
"Thank you" said Taffyta
Sherman closed the front door and walked back into the living room.
"So, how much do you all know?" Sherman asked
"We know that you and your real father are mutants like me" said Dylan
"Yeah, I know. You can manipulate wind" said Sherman
"Thank you" said Dylan
"Anyway, since there are more threats looking for me, I need some people to help me out"
"Well, I know people who can help" said Dylan
"Who?" Sherman asked
"Us!" said Dylan and Taffyta, in unison.
"Alright!" said Sherman
As they were agreeing, Manny was still watching Jerry Springer as he said. "What the fuck!". He just saw on the TV that an ex-girlfriend was beating up her ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend. Everyone looked at the TV and was surprised.
"Fuck that bitch up!" said Kyle and Sherman, in unison.
"Bitch, get out the way" said Manny. "Bitch, get out the way!"
