-Haku POV-
Looking down at Sakura I can easily see why both myself and Zabuza had quickly gotten attached to her glancing over to Zabuza I see him staring down at her with a softness that I hadn't seen for a few years 'she's good for him' I think mentally before yawning "Get some rest Haku we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow" Zabuza commands softly.
Settling down next to Sakura I close my eyes and slowly drift off into sleep hoping that coming here wasn't a mistake and that the council would give us a chance to prove that we were no threat to them.
-Zabuza POV-
Watching both of the children sleep peacefully I roam the house checking it over a few times before securing it by setting a few traps for protection I head towards the spare bedroom I had seen before setting traps up in there and laying down on the bed and falling asleep my executioners blade a few inches away.
-Morning-
I squint my eyes as light from the sun shines through the curtains and I groan rising from slumber jerking up right in alarm as I take in the new surroundings I calm when I remember where I was.
'That's right this is Sakura's home' I think to myself before wandering out of the room I enter Sakura's and see the two still sleeping peacefully and I decide to wake Haku but leave the girl to her rest "Haku" I whisper shaking him slightly.
"Huh what" he jumps up quickly looking around in alarm before facing me rolling my eyes "Lets go elsewhere so we don't disturb her sleep" I command quietly before exiting her room with Haku following me.
Entering the kitchen I gesture for Haku to sit as I do the same "Now we have to show them that we are trustworthy so I'm sure that there will be some that are gonna try to provoke you so don't let your temper get the best of you is that understood" I announce waiting for his answer.
"Of course Zabuza I think it would be nice to finally have a place to stay after all this time" he answers with a small smile gazing around the kitchen that we were seated in a scuffing sound is heard and we both turn "Oh there you two are I was wondering where you had wandered of too" Sakura appears in the doorway yawning.
I open my mouth to tell her to go back to bed but am beat to it by Haku "Sakura should you be up and about you've had quite the week shouldn't you be resting in bed" Haku asks causing her to smile sheepishly at him.
"Well I would have stayed in bed a little longer but when I woke up you were nowhere in sight and I was worried" she answers looking down before smiling softly "But since I found you both I guess I could use some more sleep" she says before turning from the room and heading back to her bed.
-Anbu POV-
'Hmmmm seems Kakashi wasn't lying about them having a soft spot for Sakura Haruno' the anbu muses while watching them from the room of another house "But I can't help but wonder how far would they go to protect the girl from harm" he wonders quietly keeping silent vigil.
"Well no matter their tests will be upon them soon" he grins before going to report back to the Hokage on his findings "Lord Hokage it seems that what Kakashi said about them caring for the girl was true" I announce "Very good Tenzou I assume that everything is taken care of then" he asks "Yes sir" I answer "Good dismissed."
Dismissed I head back to continue watching over our guests to make sure that they don't do anything 'I really want to believe Kakashi but I can't help but think that they have an ulterior motive by coming here' I think to myself 'well then I'll have to do all I can to expose them for what they really are' I think before calming down.
"Alright then lets see I believe their first test is oh it should be starting" I wonder before sprinting off towards Haruno's house just as a few other anbu members knock on the door "hmm this should be interesting" I muse aloud watching closely.
-Zabuza POV-
Checking on Sakura to make sure that she's sleeping peacefully the silence is interrupted by a loud knocking soud "Sakura Haruno open the door" and I curse as she stirs at the repeated calling of her name.
"Fine fine I'm coming" she whispers out not quite awake yet and I follow her to make sure she doesn't collapse "Alright what is it you need Anbu-san" she asks politely looking at him in confusion unsure of what was going on "I'm sorry but your going to have to come with me" he commands her grabbing her arm roughly.
"Oww that hurts" she cries out in shock at the roughness of the anbu glaring at him I know that if I react in the wrong way they'll just have a reason to not trust "Don't you think your being a little to ruff with her" I ask him.
"I suppose so" he responds relaxing his hold slightly causing relief to fill Sakura's face "Thank you Zabuza" she whispers before allowing him to lead her out of her house and to where ever they were taking her "Damn it" I curse clenching my fists in anger.
-Anbu POV-
"You handled that exceptionally well Sakura Haruno and so did Zabuza Momochi" I tell her patting her gently on the head before ushering her back to her home opening the door for her I lean down and whisper "Tell Momochi that's he's passed the first test and that there will be too more in the distant future" and with that I leave her to shut the door in confusion.
