So Adrian's mouth is all healed up and we are going on our first serious official first date and even though it feels as though we've been together for months is a big deal and I can't stop smiling. I have been floating on a cloud of happy all day and now I'm micro analyzing every article of clothing in my closet trying to find the perfect combination of cute and sexy. We are going to go see "The Avengers" and I am so exited.
I heard a knock on my bedroom door and a few seconds later Adrian poked his head in.
"Adrian I'm not ready yet!" I said.
"What do you mean you're dressed" he said.
"Yeah, I may be dressed but my hair isn't done and I've got no makeup on and I need to change out of theses sweatpants I'm not date ready!" I said having a mini freak-out.
"Syd, hon. I've seen you in your nicest dress with your hair and makeup done, and I've seen you in my t-shirt and sweatpants with bed head and not a bit of makeup on. No matter what you think you look like you look beautiful to me. So come now and let's go to the movies ok?" Adrian said offering me his hand.
"You are honestly perfect what did I do to deserve you?" I said taking his hand.
"It's not what you did to deserve me in fact it is the other way around completely." He said pulling me close and pressing a kiss to my temple.
I pressed my lips to his into a real kiss and his hands flew to my waist pulling me even closer. My hands snaked up and wrapped around his neck and slowly backed up pulling him with me. When the backs of my knees hit the bed I laid back and pulled him down with me, relishing the feel of his weight on top of me.
"Syd we're gonna miss the movie." Adrian mumbled while trailing a hot line of kisses down my throat making me quiver.
"What movie?" I said sighing as his hands roamed my body caressing every inch of me.
"Syd , I don't want you to feel pressured, I want you to feel safe with me and I don't want you to think that I'm just using you. I really care about you and I want you to know that." Adrian said pulling away from me and looking me in the eye.
"I know you care Adrian, and I wouldn't be letting this happen if I weren't ok with it ok? I trust you and I know that you're not going to hurt me." I said meeting his gaze.
"Good because I don't ever want to lose you, you are more than my best friend and I don't want you to be hurt ever again." Adrian said pulling me close and pressing a chaste kiss on my lips.
"I know you wouldn't ever hurt me on purpose Adrian I know that you're a good man and I am so happy that I get to call you mine." I said.
"I'm yours and yours alone now come on we missed the movie but let me take you out to dinner at Nat's Pizza Palace I want to show the world that you are mine all mine." Adrian stood up and offered me his hand once more.
I took it and off we went. We pulled up in front of Nat's and Adrian opened the door for me and we walked in hand in hand looking every bit as a mushy couple. Our waiter showed us to a table and took our order. As he walked away someone else came walking up. When I saw who it was all the blood drained from my face and I let out a little gasp instinctively grabbing Adrian's hand. Looking up I met the cold hard eyes of the one person capable of ruining this perfect night out.
