Chapter 11

Second Floor

No one said a word, as they glared at each other. The air was thick with resentment and from the sounds of it, lots of gas due to the food that Wesker kept in his fridge.

"So why are you 'really' doing this?" Wesker finally asked after what seemed to be forever.

They clear their throat. "It's simple. Revenge."

"Revenge? For what?" Wesker looks at them confused, mainly cause all his enemies are dead. With the exception of Chris Redfield.

They laugh. "Typical Albert Wesker. Always thinking he's one step above the rest. Well let me tell you this. Everything you have planned will fall and there's nothing you can do to stop me."

Wesker looks at them as his left eye twitches. "Is that so?"

"Just look at the monitors right now. Most of your victims should be on the same floor, or dead." They give Wesker a smile that boils his blood.

Taking a few deep breaths, he gets up and walks over to the monitors, and just like they said the majority of his victims were on the second basement level. And there on the first floor was a few of them with two people that looked familiar but he couldn't remember what their names were. Not that he wanted to know them. Looking back the thorn in his side was no longer alone.

"It's nice to see you again Wesker. It's just too bad I can't kill that Redfield for you, while I'm down there." Krauser smiles as he heads for the stairs.

"What is he talking about?" Wesker was getting annoyed with each passing minute, he wasn't aware of what was going on. In his own building of all places.

They just look at him. "Just watch."

Pink Floor

Looking around, the remaining people try to find how the others were taken without them knowing. But it was useless.

"What do we do now?" Steve looks over at the others who look concerned and upset.

Turning to David, Kevin, Leon, and Carlos, Jill prays that one of them can come up with a plan that won't get anyone hurt or worse killed. But Ada and Eric are already turning to the elevator and seeing if it works.

"Does it work?" Eric asks as Ada checks it out.

Pausing for a few seconds, she turns to him. "It looks like it's being controlled from somewhere else in the building. And I'm guessing they want the rest of us to go up."

Looking away, Eric knew it meant only one thing. A trap. "This is not gonna end good." He then turns and heads over to the others that are yelling/talking over the other. "Hey guys."

No one stops talking, as Eric tries several times to get their attention. But nothing he does works, until Ada shots her gun off. And then everyone looks over at her.

"What was that for?"

"Are you crazy?!"

"We have guns?"

"Now that I have you're attention, can we get back in the elevator and see who is behind all of this." Ada was about to turn when.

"We know who it is. Albert Wesker." Nick says with a confused look on his face.

"He may have been the one to bring you here, but this isn't his style." Ada keeps heading towards the elevator.

"How sure are you of that?" Jason starts following behind her.

"Very sure. Now everyone get in the elevator." Ada just smiles at them.

Thinking about it, they slowly make their way over. And as soon as the last person was on, the elevator suddenly jerks and moves up at a fast rate. Causing all who are in it, to freak out. But it's short lived when it stops just as fast as it started. Looking around, the group finds themselves in a room that is dark. Cept for a single light above them. Not saying a word they calmly make their way to through the hallway where they come to a door. Opening the door slowly, none of them expected to see the main floor. The high fence that Wesker put up, is no longer there and in the middle of the floor is a large cage. Full of people and three dogs.

First Floor

All he could remember was the dark shadow of someone knocking him out. His head was still pounding, but it was nothing he couldn't handle. At least he had no choice in the matter. Opening his eyes, the first thing he notices is, his mask is missing. Quickly getting to his feet, he looks around to find he's not alone.

"Finally awake. I was just about to slap you."

"Do it, and it will be the last thing you ever do." HUNK calmly says as the people he's been watching, where now in front of him.

"Who are these people?"

Instead of waiting for anyone to say something, the new group runs over to the ones inside the cage.

"Tess!"

"Rebecca!"

"Chris! Claire!"

"Jill! Don't touch-" Chris tries to yell, but it's too late.

Jill is the first to reach the cage and grab it. And the moment she touches it, an electrical shock goes through her body, sending her flying back into the people behind her. As Chris, Claire, Tess, Rebecca, and the others freak out, the sound of creepy laughing stops everyone in their tracks.

"How did any of you survive in Raccoon or these trails, is beyond me."

"Well said, sister."

"Shut up Alfred!" Claire yells as she tries to go after him, but soon remembers where she is.

"Silly girl. Only I can tell my beloved brother to shut up."

"Ya, only my darly sister Alexia can do that!" Alfred stands in front of the cage, attempting to tease Claire.

"You do realize not all of us are in there." Jill walks over to him and smacks him on the back of the head.

Rolling her eyes, Alexia walks over and does the same thing. "Now, back to business."

As Alfred cries like a little girl, Alexia uses her powers to separate the group outside of the cage. Sending Steve, Eric, Leon, Carlos, and Jill to one side of the floor. While Nick, Jason, David, Kevin, and Ada are on the other side. As the two groups try to understand what just happened, Alexia and Alfred head over to the group with Jill, as this shadowy figure slowly starts walking down some stairs.

"Guys behind you!" Carlos yells as the figure tries to attack Nick while his back was turned.

Moving out of the way, David looks over only for Leon to try and run at him. But before he can take a single step, the very same fence that Wesker used to separate himself from the others rises, dividing the floor into two. Soon over the speakers, a high pitched laugh is heard.

"As much as I find all of this funny, we are on a tight schedule and things must go as planed. Or something close to it. As you must of realized by now, Albert Wesker is no longer in control. I am. And do not worry, if you live through this, you will have the honor of meeting me. The true master mind behind all of the problems you have been having."

"Survive what you freak!?" Both Steve and NIck yell at the same time.

"Such rudeness. As you can see, you have been placed into two groups, with two bad guys. Fight them to the death and whoever wins gets to meet me."

Getting nervous, everyone looks over at Alfred and Alexia and the two others. "This can't be real." Eric tries to keep a straight face.

"Oh it's real. Just like I'm going to be the only winner."

"Who are you?!" Eric yells as Alfred looks at him.

"His name is Jack Krauser." Leon responds with a hateful glare.

Jack laughs. "It's good to see you again, Leon."

Everyone then looks over at him, who is slowly turning red. "It's never good to see you. Just wish I was the one to kick your ass, instead of a girl."

Looking at him confused, Jack turns around just in time to see Ada kick him right in the ass. As everyone around him starts to laugh, Jack's face goes red.

"Oh you're gonna pay for that." Jack gets geared up to attack, but for some reason it just comes off as him looking like he's trying to poop.

"What's going on?" Ada looks just as confused as the others.

"I think he's trying to mutate...or take a shit." Leon continues to watch Jack.

"I'm not trying you moron. I WILL TRANSFORM!" Jack yells at him. But after awhile he soon gives up.

Watching all of this, Alexia starts to laugh when Jack gives up. "Foolish boy. You give up too soon."

"Oh really. Show us how it's done, bitch." He smiles when Alexia's face goes beat red.

"How dare you call my beloved sister a bitch! You should be so lucky to be in her presents….You present!" Alfred's voice somehow manages to reach new highs. And for the people outside, all the dogs within range suddenly start howling.

Closing her eyes, Alexia gets ready to transform. But just like Jack, nothing happens. All that happens, is her looking like she's about to fall asleep. Only this time, it was Jack's turn to laugh at her. And just as Alexia was about to attack him, the speakers come to life.

"Now, now, now. Be nice or something bad will happen. And we don't want that. Now do we."

The floor goes quiet.

"As you may have notice, neither Alexia Ashford or Jack Krauser can transform. Why you might ask? Well, ever since you entered the building, a gas was released neutralizing your ability to do it. So get ready to fight like a normal person."

Attempting not to destroy everything around them, both Alexia and Jack try their very best not to go after the mystery person.

"Poor Jack. So use to using the virus to fight, now has to fight like a human." Leon smirks at him, as Ada and the others come up with a plan of attack.

"I don't need the virus to kick these pathetic losers asses." Jack spits at Leon, only to turn and get hit by Kevin and David.

Having a hard time not laughing, HUNK leans back against the wall. "This is going to be entertaining."

"Step aside brother. I will deal with these things." Alexia pushes her brother with one hand, as she slowly walks towards the group.

Parking Lot

Just as they were getting closer to opening the door, a second steel door slams down. Almost hitting a worker on the head. As they look around, a faint sound of something heavy breathing coming from an unknown area. But nothing could be seen or found that could make such a sound.

"Hey, there's something going on down here that is starting to get to the men, and now it's going to take longer to get inside the building." The manager says into the radio.

"What do you mean it's going to take longer?"

"Exactly what I said. A new steel door is blocking the old one." As he says this, all those who are working on the door watch in hopes that something will be done about it.

The other end goes quiet and as time goes on, everyone becomes worried. As the works slowly started to walk away from the door and all their tools, each radio soon sends off the same single. Static. Nothing else but a low static sound. But when one worker puts it close to their ear, an eerie sound comes from it.

"Ten-rele-all emp-the vicinity. This is-and last-rning."

Trying to think of what it was saying, nothing good came to mind. But without the whole message, it could mean anything, and with the boss not getting back they had no choice but to continue to work on the door. And as everyone went back to work, no one noticed the small cracks forming in the asphalt.
