"Should I ask why you haven't told him yet?" A voice asked outside the training room door, it was low enough so only demon ears could hear. Rosella slowed down for a moment before continuing to walk, motioning the voice to follow her. Soon they found themselves on the roof standing next to each other watching as the sun was going down. The owner of the voice stood next to Rosella and waited for her to speak.

"I didn't like him at first, I meet him with an attitude that could rival a second generation super star on her birthday. I wish I could have been nicer or not have chosen his room to wait for him, or how I shouldn't have thought 'he's not the military captain of the most fearsome race in history, you can take him', maybe I shouldn't have even come to begin with-"

"But you did, and although you were an ass in the beginning, I'm glad you showed up, you spiced some things up around here." Rosella turned to the boy talking to her and smiled softly before looking back to the horizon view from the roof of the mansion.

"Thanks, and I can comfortable say that I spiced things up here too." She said as she plopped down on the roof sitting cross legged and leaning her head on her head. "I didn't trust him in the beginning and that's why I didn't tell him who I was then and now he doesn't trust me though, what's the purpose of telling him who I am? Even if I went up to him and said 'hey guess what? I'm your long lost daughter and you know who the mother is? Only your dearest friend who suddenly ran out of your life leaving you all alone with your unknown daughter Raven!" Rosella said as she began to raise her voice towards the end causing a pot with a plant in it to explode. The boy looked towards the plant then back to her.

"Have you always done that?" He asked sitting down next to her.

"No... it started recently... I-" She looked up into the masked eyes of the boy next to her. Go ahead and tell him, I can see you trust him, Rosella heard her mother tell her through her mind.

"What?" He asked her looking worried.

"Shadow, I'm the next portal...I'm going to be the cause of the apocalypse. I can't control the new about of power that has exploded in me recently to be able to sustain a portal from the pits of hell. Demon powers are usually based on emotion, but while I have been taught how to handle these emotions to a science by my mother, this new power is like trying to contain lightening in a glass jar." She said not stopping until she finished her thought. She scrunched her eyes closed waiting for the inevitable, 'you monster.'

"We'll fight through Watson." Shadow said after a moment of silence giving her a nod of determination. She looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Well from the stories I've heard from the older Titans, it's that the apocalypse was already avoided by your parents right?" Rosella nodded her head.

"But that was my mother and-"

"You are just as strong as far as I can tell." Shadow said simply. "We'll kick your grandpa's old fat ass back into hell with all of his friends, I will personally do it if you can't."

"Thanks, good to get that off my chest. Minus my mother and Cyborg, you're the only one who knows." Rosella said simply causing a scoff from Shadow.

"Don't I feel special." He said sarcastically.

"You should." Rosella said. "I don't tell things like this easily to people... I did it because I know I can trust you." She said. After a moment of silence Shadow talked.

"Then i'll tell you something about me no one knows. My mother was raped by my father, an alien sent to earth to try and rapidly supply his dying race with a new generation. My mother raised me 'til I was five, when I started to discover my powers, when my father returned. He killed my mother and took me. He looked almost human, but there were slight things off about him that made you question what he really was. It was the way he talked, the way he walked it was like he was trying too hard to fit in, you know? What also added on to the fact that made him seem not human, minus the ability to manipulate and teleport through shadows, was the way he always had to cover his eyes because they weren't human. Thank God I look like my mother, eyes and every other human part of me, but I guess that's not important. My father took me away to a secluded cave and told me how I was the only one to survive the reveal, I thought it was just a serious case of mono but this process killed off around 30 other children and I was the only survivor. When I turned ten and my father thought he could trust me enough to give me a little bit of a lease, I escaped. I began to use my powers to help save myself. I stole everything, money, food, clothes... that is until I was walking past a tiny family owned store where a man was trying to rob the family of everything they head. On impulse I ran in and protected the family. The moment the police showed up I ran. I became a super hero by night I guess. Three years later I was rescuing people from a burning building in Jump when I meet the titans. They gave me a home and a new family, I have been with them since. I think in a bout two months with be my two year anniversary of joining the titans." He said counting off the months in his head.

"That makes you 15?" Rosella asked.

"14 for another month... You know I've known them that long, yet they barely know anything of my past, yet I just told you everything." He said.

"Not everything, and those secrets that I still don't know I won't ever need to hear." Rosella said smiling knowingly at Shadow. They sat on the roof together until nightfall.

Rosella went three nights before waking up on the fourth night with nightmares of her opening a portal to hell and bringing on the end of the world. She was hiding her fear easily as she was told the date of the end of the world in her dream. Another piece of information more horrific came every fourth night. It wasn't helpful information either. Her first nightmare was of her being told she would be the next portal, the second was telling her the exact date of the end of the world. The third told her how Cyborg would die and the fourth told her how Shadow would die. The ball was in a week and she didn't know how she would get the confidence to finally tell Richard that he was her father and that she has been lying the entire time? She would also have to apologize the hostility Richard has been going through because Shadow didn't trust 'his little sister Watson hanging out with the man that could rip out her spine'. She would also have to thank Shadow though for telling the other Titan's to keep her heritage a secret. That brings her back to the thought of how she would tell Richard. She would have to tell him before the end of the world though and she knew that date was steadily approaching and she-

"Are you alright?" She heard the voice of the man her thoughts were centered around ask her. She cracked an eye open breaking her meditation to look at him.

"I'm fine." She said lying through her teeth.

"Don't make me laugh, I can tell your lying. So tell me what's actually wrong?" Richard asked.

"Well, I'm sorry for Shadow's hostility-"

"You're avoiding the question." He said stopping her.

"But it is true." She countered.

"But you're bringing the conversation away from what is actually on your mind." He scolded her.

"No I'm-"

"What's on your mind?" He asked her sternly. She looked down trying to think about a way to avoid this conversation, she wasn't ready to tell him now, but when would she tell him? Now was perfect.

"My parents." She croaked out.

"I see..." Richard said with a little bit of a down cast look. His face scrunched up in a way to show that he was thinking. "Home sick for your mother? Afraid you'll never find your father in time?"

"Yeah." She said thinking that what he was telling her wasn't a complete lie.

"What's your mother's name?" He asked her getting out of his mediative stance.

"Ra-" Rosella coughed scolding herself mentally for almost saying Raven. "Ramona." She said looking at the ground.

Lie. Richard thought as he looked at her downcast gaze. She must not want him to know who she is, but why? "Do you trust me?" Richard asked her.

"As a demon I know would say, I trust you with all of my being." Rosella said causing Richard to stiffen slightly.

"My friend used to tell me that also." Rosella nodded her head at Richard before looking down at the ground once more. After a few more minutes of silence Richard stood up and extended his hand towards Rosella. She arced an eyebrow at him. "Come on, it'll help us get both of our minds off of what's been bothering us." She grabbed his hand and he helped her up, leading her back to the training room. "I heard you need to work on defending your right hand side defense. I need to work on it too." He said with an embarrassed laugh. Rosella smiled slightly at him as she went to remove her hood so she could get a better view of the training area.

"Sounds fun, let's do this." She said as she made the resolve in that moment, to never tell a single lie to her sincere father again.

"So I just have to stay hear and watch, is that what your telling me?" Slade asked in a bit of an annoyed tone.

"Yes my dearest friend, it is known as the art of distraction, and since my face isn't on the most wanted list in all of Gotham and Jump City, I should be the one distracting. The citizens who live will remember you, and I would like to avoid brutally killing this insufferable species until the time is right." Damion growled in response to Slade.

"So I stay in the shadows as you waltz into the bank, scare everyone without leaving any trace of yourself so you can shake up Batman and Boy Wonder." Slade asked leaning more towards the shadows.

"Yes, they'll become worried that someone would dare do something to precious little Gotham when the word is out that the Titans are here also. They'll begin an investigation immediately as they begin to wonder who would dare pull this crazy stunt when there are so many known heroes in the town." He said as he began to walk out towards the street. Slade nodded as he waited in the shadows for Damion to return.

"What?" Richard all but growled out as he walked down the corridor with Bruce to the Bat Cave.

"You heard me properly, a bank robbery without any robbing. Witnesses say that a middle aged, very attractive male with fiery red hair and piercing blue eyes the color of the hottest flame ever imagined showed up and just threw some people around, opened the bank doors after dis-alarming the security system and left." Bruce said with an emotionless, cold voice.

"What's the catch, it seems like a failed robbery." Richard asked as they reached the end of the hallway. Bruce turned to him after making sure no one was in the halls.

"There is no video footage of him being there. The video shows everyone going around their regular day business, and then suddenly people start flying across the room as if they were in a horror movie." He said seriously. "Nothing could pick up a person, not even the infrareds could pick up a living soul walk into the building, but the door opens and people start freaking out and flying across the room."

"Finger prints?"

"None."

"Who would pull a stunt like this minus Slade?" Richard asked with a growled assuming Slade was the villain.

"I checked, Slade is still in his cell." Bruce said seriously. "We must go to investigate now, away from the police." With that the two rounded the corner not knowing that one wake demon heard everything and was shivering in her bed.

And I have updated! Hope it's not just a bad filler for all of y'all, but anyway hope you enjoy!
