Alright here is chapter 13, I'm back and almost finishing up my return updates. I own nothing except my ideas.
Ash grimaced as he felt himself wake up. He looked around and saw himself in a dark morphed world. Ash looked around, hoping to find some way out. Ash stepped forward, only for a scream to pierce his ears. He followed the scream to see Lucina defending herself and Chrom against a giant beast. Ash felt his dagger on his waist, and raced forward. He pulled the beasts attention, garnered by the howl. Ash dodged the pounce it made before stabbing it in the back. It fell dead and vanished into smoke. Ash turned around to check on Lucina, only to jump back when a blade swung at him. Ash looked and saw Lucina with pitch black eyes, staring coldly at him. Ash stared shocked before preparing his dagger. Lucina jumped forward and swung at him, only for him to deflect it and swing at her, making her jump back as he cut her stomach. Ash saw a black liquid ooze out of the wound. Ash grimaced before aiming his hidden gun and firing, cringing as the bullet went between her eyes, Lucina fell over and vanishing into a black liquid.
The liquid began to move and reform into something else, that something was the white haired Tactician Robin, Ash blinked before hearing a roar. Ash saw a behemoth of a dragon behind Robin, which roared at Ash. Ash growled before bracing himself. "Can you truly change fate"? Robin asks before the dragon reaches to eat him. Ash felt himself unable to move, looking down he saw two tendrils of darkness holding his feet down. Ash's eyes widened as the jaws approached him. Ash felt a surge within him as he panicked, his eyes shifting to a familiar emerald, and his hair to golden as he shifted into Super Saiyan form. "What"? Robin demands. Ash stood there, angrily glaring at Robin and the dragon. "Your not Robin, your just some cheap copy used to mess with me, well let me tell you this". Ash began before aiming his hand at Robin. "I don't like tricks". Ash says before firing a blast of Aura, not even flinching as Robin shouted in pain.
Ash looked around, watching the place dissipate to reveal a temple of some sort. "Where am I"? Ash mutters. "You conquered the magic of Grima". A female voice says. Ash turns and saw Lucina standing in front of him with a smile. "Lucina"? Ash asks. "No, I'm just an image of someone you care about, here to help". 'Lucina' answers. Ash blinks in confusion. "Excellus used the magic of Grima to trap you in this nightmare, but now that you defeated it, you should be waking up any minute now". Lucina says. Ash felt himself awakening, as the place begin to quiver. "Trust in your friends and your bond, and you will conquer all". Lucina says as she vanished.
Ash jerked upward as he woke up, still in his Super Saiyan form. Ash looked around and felt himself sweating. Ash noticed Kellam sitting near him, staring at him in awe. "Glad to see your awake, though I didn't expect your hair and eyes to change overnight". Kellam says, gesturing to Ash's state. Ash noticed he was still transformed, and returned to normal, surprising Kellam again. "It's a little...thing I can do". Ash says passively before going to get dressed. Kellam left to give Ash privacy, and to inform Chrom of his awakening.
Ash walked out, feeling refreshed, and a tad bit worried. "I wonder how long I was out". Ash mutters. "Ash"! A voice shouts. Ash turns, only to be tackled by something. Ash looks and saw Cynthia hugging him. "I was worried when Gaius brought you back wounded". Cynthia cheers. "Why me exactly"? Ash asks. "Silly, your one of the most epic, most super awesome fighters I've seen"! Cynthia explains while doing all sorts of motions. Ash chuckles at the compliment, before blushing as his stomach growled. "I'm gonna go get something to eat". Ash says before walking off, ignoring the still talking Cynthia.
Ash was eating as multiple Shepherds greeted him. Ash felt a hand palm his shoulder and saw Yen'fay staring at him. "I see you've recovered". Yen'fay mutters. Ash nods as Yen'fay sits down. "I heard, Excellus ambushed you, and took your sword as well". Yen'fay says, darting his eye to Ash's waist, which was devoid of his cutlass. "Yeah, but I'll get it back". Ash says with a smirk. Yen'fay smirks, knowing Ash tends to back up his words. Chrom walked in and darted his eyes to Ash. "Ash! Glad to see you awake, hopefully the strategy can go as planned". Chrom says while Ash rolls his eyes. "And good morning to you too". Ash says sarcastically. Chrom flinches, realizing how his words may have sounded. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way". Chrom says while rubbing his head. "It's fine, Walhart has been a pain, I understand how that's your first thought". Ash says before going back to eating.
Ash began to stretch outside, they were about to assault Walhart soon, and hopefully they will succeed. "Ash"! A voice says happily. Ash turns around and saw Lucina running towards him. "Lucina, is something wrong"? Ash asks. "No, I was just told you recovered, you were so badly injured I was sure we were going to have change the plans". Lucina explains. Ash nods with a smile. "Well, I'm back and ready to fight". Ash says with a grin. Lucina smiles before a thoughtful look overcame her face. "Something wrong"? Ash asks,noticing her expression. "I was thinking, have you ever been in a situation like that, where your life is on the line"? Lucina asks. Ash looks down before chuckling. "More than I would care to admit, but yes". Ash mutters with a hollow chuckle. Lucina rose an eyebrow at his answer. But decided not to ask upon noticing the forlorn expression on his face. "Anyway, we're about to march off". Lucina says awkwardly. Ash nods before they run to catch up.
