Xeria Metallium yawned as she flipped through the latest issue of Shonen Jump. Babbit Graywords munched mindlessly on a piece of Pocky, while reading volume one of Trigun.

"Do you think Arcanum will write the next match before or after she goes to Wisconsin?" Babbit asked out of curiosity.

"I think before. Arcanum-san has a complex. She likes to wrap up loose ties before going on a trip." Xeria replied.

"Doesn't she have a disorder?" Babbit inquired.

"Yes, she has obsessive-compulsive personality disorder, but she seems proud of that. Strange one, she is." Xeria commented.

"Geez, you make me feel so loved Xeria." Arcanum's voice floated in from the sky.

"Well, you're the one that made her so evil." Sailor Aries pointed out.

"Well, you got me there." Arcanum conceded.

"So who's the match-up today?" Babbit asked.

Scripts magically appeared in their hands, so Xeria and Babbit flipped through them.

"What? How could you Arcanum?" Babbit exclaimed.

"What did you do?" Sailor Aries asked, referring to her own script.

"Arcanum, this is mean! You cannot do this to Babbit!" Sailor Aries cried.

"Very interesting idea, Arcanum, I am surprised you would do this to a character you love so dear." Xeria smirked.

At this point, the stadium was filled with a wide array of demons and a few miscellaneous humans on either side. Two male creatures entered the arena and waited for their questions.

Xeria took the chance to wave to her father and the rest of the Slayers crew before heading for the other side of the arena. Babbit waved also and then took her question card and headed for her father, Zelgadiss Graywords, who waited in the ring.

"Hiei, huh, according to my question card, you're a force to be reckoned with?" Xeria began.

            "Hn" was Hiei's response.

"Well, we'll see how well you fare against Uncle Zel. By the way, do you know you look very similar to Prince Vegeta?" Xeria asked curiously.

"Hn, Baka Onna." Hiei replied in an annoyed tone.

"Wow, same attitude, too" Xeria mumbled sarcastically before returning to her seat.

On the other side of the ring, Babbit confronted her father.

"Father, I know how strong you are and all, but I don't trust this Hiei person. Please be careful!" Babbit pleaded with her father.

"Don't worry, Babbit-chan. I will be fine." Zelgadiss consoled his daughter.

"Good luck Uncle Zel!" Xeria cheered. Zelgadiss nodded.

            Babbit returned to her seat.

"Hiei versus Zelgadiss, game start!" She announced.

The first thing spectators noticed about these competitors was that they were both insanely fast. They ran so fast that most times they could not even be seen.

The second thing spectators noticed was that these opponents were both skilled swordsmen. When they stopped running for a second, you could see their swords clash.

Zelgadiss hung back from the sword fight and shot a fireball at Hiei. The fire demon was able to dodge it however and managed to swipe Zelgadiss across the midsection. Luckily, for Zelgadiss, he was a chimera of human, golem and demon and therefore was not injured.

Zelgadiss was not down by any chance. He took Hiei's moment of confusion as to why Zel was not bleeding to death, to surprise him with a sword slice right to his forehead. Hiei managed to avoid a deadly blow, but his headband was cut cleanly in half, revealing his Jagan eye.

"You're pretty good, Hiei." Zelgadiss praised.

"Hn, so are you." Hiei replied and returned his sword to its sheath. He began unwrapping the bandages on his arm.

Zelgadiss sensed danger and began chanting the Ra Tilt, his most powerful spell.

Hiei's Black Fire Dragon clashed with Zel's Ra Tilt. On one side of the arena, Xelloss and Xellass teleported the Slayers gang out of the stadium and let the lower Mazoku be swallowed by the Dragon.

On the other side of the arena, Koenma and Bu put up a protective barrier over their group and the rest of the demons were destroyed on the astral level by the Ra Tilt. Babbit tried holding a protective barrier over herself and Xeria.

"Why are you protecting me, too?" Xeria asked in confusion.

"If you die, who will keep me company?" Babbit gritted out, her full concentration on maintaining the shield.

As the shield began to fail, Xeria grabbed Babbit and teleported them to safety.

"Why did you save me?" Babbit asked.

"Well, if you die, who will I mock for fun?" Xeria smiled, hiding any other emotions behind her closed eyes.

As the Dragon returned to its owner and the light from the Ra Tilt faded away, everyone returned to the stadium. There in the arena lay Hiei, fast asleep from using the Black Fire Dragon attack. Babbit looked around in a panic for her father.

"There he is!" Xeria pointed to Zelgadiss.

Babbit ran to his side. Zel opened his eyes and looked at his daughter.

"Guess I'm getting too old for this, I lost." He said a slight chuckle in his voice, noticing that he was outside the ring.

"You're alive and that's all that matters to me!" Babbit cried and hugged her father.

"Game set match to Hiei, but glad you're alive Uncle Zel!" Xeria announced.

"After surviving all those Dragon Slaves over the years, I can survive anything." Zel chuckled.

"What do you mean by that Zel?" Lina screamed and started pounding on Zel, despite his wounds.

"Odd people aren't they?" Koenma commented.

"Couldn't be any weirder than the group of Captain Nitwit" Genkai said sarcastically.

"What do you mean by that Grandma?" Yusuke yelled, before Genkai punted him into a wall.

"I think both groups are strange." Xeria concluded.

"Yes, I agree with you on that one." Babbit agreed.
