A/N: Wow; over a year since I've last posted a chapter for this story. It's been so long, I was considering just leaving it as is, but decided, I can't do that! That'd be horrible, and terribly rude of me. So... I don't know if anyone is even gonna read this, but if so... here you go!

The first summer that the group spent after graduation flew by. It went from July, to August in no time at all. Before Lily knew it, September was drawing to a close. Waking one morning she rolled over in her childhood bed, and stretched. 'In a little over a month, I am going to be Mrs. James Potter. With a giggle, she climbed out of bed, and made her was down the stairs. Covering her mouth, the red head yawned widely and entered the kitchen.

'Hey, Lily-flower.' James' voice called to her.

With a quiet yelp, Lily spun on her heel, and pressed a hand to her heart; 'Merlin, James. What are you trying to do? Make me have a heart attack?'

Grinning, the boy jumped to his feet and crossed to her. Taking her hands in his, he kissed her fingers and shook his head, 'Never, love.'

'Good.' Smacking his arm lightly, she pulled away and crossed to the refridgerator. 'What are you doing here anyways?'

'I missed you.'

Looking over her shoulder, Lily gave a small smile, 'I missed you too!'

James sat back down and crossing his legs at his ankles, he nodded, 'I know. It must be terrible!'

Frowning, Lily placed her bowl on the table, 'What's terrible?'

Sitting forward, James grinned, 'Not being able to see me all the time!'

'Oho!' Lily grinned at him, 'You're quite the cocky little thing, aren't you?' she asked, her brows raised.

'Shouldn't I be?'

'Well, I suppose so.' Giggling a little, Lily sighed. 'You should probably get going though, unless you wanna help with wedding preperations.'

'I don't mind helping.'

'Really?' Lily asked, a smile crossing her lips.

'Yeah.' Leaning forward once more, James laid his lips against hers, and smiled, 'Whatever you need Lily-bean. I'm here for you.'

'I can think of a few things I could use your help with...'

Later that evening, Lily and her mother entered their house and heard multiple deep voices drifting from the kitchen. Glancing at her daughter, Clara Evans sighed, 'I thought you said you only asked James to do the favors?'

'I did.' Biting her lip, Lily smiled at her mom, 'He must have gotten ahold of the other Mauraders.' Hanging her dress on the coat rack by the door, Lily walked through the hall and stopped in the doorway leading into the kitchen.

James sat at the head of the table, a frown on his face, and a hot glue gun in his hand. 'Hold still, Padfoot. Unless you want more of this on you...' Frowning in concentration, the first boy glued lace to bag his friend was holding. Across from him, Sirius sat, a grin on his face, and one eye squeezed shut, 'Don't threaten me, Prongsie!' Shaking his head, he put one bag down, and picked up another, 'How was I supposed to know that was that hot!?'

'You do realized it's called a hot glue gun for a reason, don't you?' Remus said, with a chuckle. 'What were you expecting? For it to be cold?'

'Well... yeah.' Shrugging, Sirius reached into the bag of chips sitting in front of him, shoving a handful in his mouth, he said, ''ow was I to 'ow it whas 'e 'ot?'

'Err...?' Remus shook his head, and laughed. 'Didn't mummy ever tell you to empty your mouth before you talked?'

Swallowing, Sirius opened his mouth and showed it was empty before reaching for another bag and holding it up for his friend. 'Well.. yeah. But I just thought she was being...' waving his hand in the air, he grinned, 'over-protective. Something.'

With a laugh, James shook his head, 'No Padfoot. She was trying to teach you some mann-'

A loud crash sounded throughout the room followed by a quiet groan, 'Sorry, Prongs.'

Glancing up, James shrugged, and pointing his wand at the pile of shattered china, muttered 'Reparo'. Smiling at his friend, he said, 'No biggie, Wormtail.;

'You know,' Lilys mother walked in the room, and smiled at the boys, 'I never get over how cool magic is!' With a laugh she shook her head, and grinned, 'That sounded really 'muggle' of me, huh?'

Grinning at his fiance, James stood and looked towards his future mother-in-law. 'Yup!' Then with a laugh, he ran a hand through his hair, 'But it's okay, 'cause I can't get over how awesome the tellyvision is. Pretty wizard of me, huh?' He asked, with a wink.

Crossing to him, Lily nodded, 'Yup!' Looping her arms around his neck, she stood on tiptoes and rubbed her lips against his. 'But don't worry, dear. I'll train you up on all the muggle devices.'

Laughing, Sirius said, 'Awe, Prongs, she's gonna train you... just like one would a show horse.'

Remus snorted into his hand, while James just raised his brow, and grinned. 'Better a show horse, then a dog. They have fleas, and get distracted by their tails.'

'Hey!' Sirius cried out, 'Not all dogs have fleas!'

Lily, and the boys broke out laughing, while her mother looked on in confusion. Shaking her head, Clara pushed up her sleves, 'Now. Who's hungry?'

Lily sat with her legs stretched out in front of her, and her two best friends sitting beside her. They had chocolate frog wrappers scattered around them; and and empty bottle of firewhisky sitting in front of them. On a giggle, Emmaline leaned back her elbows and said, 'Imagine if James saw you now, Lil's. He would be... very su-suprised to see his little florwer drunk!'

Laughing, Lily narrowed her eyes. 'I am not drunk!' She said with a hiccup, 'I am merely, slightly intoxicated!' Giggling, she threw an empty wrapper at her friend.

'I dunno.' Alice mused, laughing, 'You seem a little flushed; and your words are starting to slur!'

'They are not!' Lily said; an obvious slur starting to sound in her voice. 'And even so.. this is my bach- bachorlette party. I am allowed to be slurring!'

Laughing again, Emmaline snorted, 'Thats not an actual way to be!' Hiccuping she looked at Alice, 'Tell her!'

'Tell her what?' The quiet girl asked, frowning. Picking up the bottle, Alice closed an eye, and peered into it. 'We seem to have ran out of drink!'

'Noo!' Both Lily and Emma said. 'Now what?'

'I dunno.' Frowning, Alice spent time carefully placing the bottle back on the ground in front of her.

Licking her lips, Emma sat forward, 'Let us get ice cream and go sit in front of the fellyvision, and watch sappy movies about weddings and such.'

'Aren't we supposed to do awesome stuff?' Lily asked, frowning, 'Stuff I can not tell my children about later?'

'Well...' Waving her hand in her friends face, Emma shook her head, 'Everyone else does that. Lets be different!'

'Kay!' The three girls got to there feet; and stumbling they laughed their way into Lilys childhood home, and collapsed on the couch.

A/N: I hope this was okay! I know it's not alot. But the next chapter will be James, and his pals.. then the wedding. I think. Unless it doesnt go as planned. But! I'm only gonna do one more chapter. Then close the Date! Sorry again for the long period of time in between updates. Please don't hate me! I'm gonna try and do better!
