By the time Leon arrives at Wesker's house, he's panting hard and can barely keep himself aloft. He descends sloppily and crashes against the front door, which swings open, causing him to fall onto the floor in the entry way to the house. His head starts to spin as he stands, placing his hand against the wall to brace himself. His vision is red and blurry around the edges, and he brings his free hand to his face.
"Ngh…"
"So you've returned to me."
Leon lifts his head, looking through spread fingers. Wesker is slowly walking down the stairs towards him.
"Heh, you're lucky I'm exhausted… otherwise I'd kick your ass…" Leon drops to his hands and knees, panting between words. His body is shaking as if it's cold, but it's not. He's broken into a cold sweat.
"W-Wesker… something's wrong…"
Wesker kneels down, placing his hand under Leon's chin and raising his head, forcing Leon to look at him. Wesker studies his eyes for a moment before pulling his hand back. He helps Leon to his feet before picking the ex-agent up and carrying him on his back. Wesker heads downstairs, punching in the code for a sealed lab door to slide open. He takes Leon inside and sits him on the table before opening a cabinet and pulling out a syringe filled with a see through red liquid.
Leon slinks away, thinking of the man that had drawn his blood the day before.
"What is that?"
"It's a serum created to keep the Progenitor virus within me stable, and stop my body from mutating." Wesker states flicking the needle, his eyes falling onto the ex-agents eyes.
"Have you even looked at yourself yet?" The blond asks, tying a tourniquet around Leon's left forearm as he inserts the needle tip into his vein, injecting the serum slowly.
"There was no mirror where they were keeping me-"
"What did you say-"
"-ngh, it feels like my bloods on fire!" Leon goes to push Wesker away, who simply pushes Leon's back onto the table, jumping up and sitting on him, pinning the ex-agents hands above his head. Wesker waits until Leon calms down a few moments after, his breathing and pulse normal again.
"You really are a rather magnificent specimen, you know." Wesker's voice is slightly softer than usual.
"You-" Leon bites his tongue to stop a comeback. Did Wesker just compliment him? "I… thanks." He mumbles, looking away. Wesker removes himself from the table.
"Clean yourself up, your clothes are tattered and you're covered in dry blood."
Wesker's words ring in Leon's head as he makes his way to the bathroom. There is an absence of Chris' presence, and Leon wonders if the brunet is at work. Or maybe he left and will never come back.
"If only…" Leon mutters, peeling off his clothing in front of the mirror. He knows its wrong to think such things about his closest friend, but after what he witnessed his heart is filled with despise and jealousy towards the brunette. He catches his eyes in the reflective glass, lips slightly parting at the sight of himself. His left eye is its normal green; only the color has been intensified and brightened. His right eye, however, shines a yellow color, like honey and molten gold. He plays with his hair so his bangs cover the yellow eye. As he steps into the shower and turns the water on hot, all he can see is that demonic yellow eye staring back at him. He hates it, the beauty of it. It scares him. He doesn't know what his potential is yet, this foreign power churning inside him waiting to be released.
Leon stepped out of the shower, a pair of folded clothes sitting on the sink counter. He quickly dries himself off before sliding on a pair of black cargo pants and tearing slits in the tight black sleeveless shirt, which both fit surprisingly well.
Leon heads downstairs, grabbing a bite to eat from the fridge and then began looking for Wesker. The blond was nowhere to be found until Leon stepped outside, heading around the house and to the back yard. Wesker stood silent, watching the water flow from a large stone fountain surrounded by a bed of flowers.
"Wesker?" Leon asks, tearing the blond from his thoughts. Wesker turns, his coat ruffling slightly in the breeze. He watches the ex-agent approach him, wings folded tightly against his back. What an amazing specimen indeed… He mentally patted himself on the shoulder at what a success his experiment was.
"We both know you should be dead right now," Wesker speaks in a cold, collected tone, "but you're not. You have the most powerful and unpredictable virus inside your body. You need to learn how to control it, subdue it, and manipulate it. And I'm going to help you."
"How could you possibly help me? Look at what you've turned me into!" Leon shouts, spreading his arms wide. Wesker smirks and vanishes into thin air.
"Are you fucking kidding-" Leon's sentence is cut off by a swift kick to the stomach, sending him flying back and crashing to the ground. The blond chuckles deeply, watching Leon get to his feet.
"What was that for?!" The ex-agent yells between gasps for air.
"You're slow. You need to work on your reaction time."
Leon rolls his eyes. "And tell me, how am I supposed to do that when I can't even see you?"
"Focus."
Wesker disappears again, and Leon slowly turns in a circle, trying to focus his eyes. For an instant he can see a ripple in the air and he puts his arms up in defence just in time to stop a punch to the chest, capturing Wesker's fist in his own. Wesker chuckles and Leon lets out a laugh of delight, his eyes shining before going dark.
"My turn."
Leon pulls Wesker towards him, kneeing the blond in the stomach and throwing him onto the ground roughly. Wesker is momentarily shocked before regaining his composure.
There's a moment of silence before the two men are at each other's throats, fighting for dominance. Leon manages to keep up with Wesker's attacks until exhaustion takes over, his movements becoming slow and sloppy. Wesker gives Leon a final kick to the stomach, sending the ex-agent crashing into the stone fountain with an explosion. Wesker slowly walks to the fountain as the debris settles, swinging his legs over the edge and stepping into the cool water. He grabs Leon by the collar and pulls the ex-agent to his feet. Blood drips from a cut on Leon's hairline, but he's virtually unhurt. Leon backhands Wesker in the face, causing his shades to fall into the water.
"You'll pay for that." Wesker growls, demonic eyes glowing. Leon gazes into those eyes, erection pressing against his pants.
"You're right, I will." Leon smashes his lips against the blonds, kissing him hungrily. Wesker slides his tongue into Leon's mouth, dominating the kiss. He pushes Leon down into the water, covering the ex-agents body with his own as they ravage each other, the cool liquid flowing around their bodies.
