Chapter 13
'Damn it' Cloud thought to himself, ever since Kuyo went through that transformation, he could barely land a hit on the bastard fox, sadly Cloud isn't in the same condition, Cloud's uniform has been modified by flames, His under shirt is covered with soot, and the edges have been charred, his pants looked like they went through a dull shredder. Cloud has a few bruises here and their but he like Kuyo doesn't have a cut to worry about. Even with four swords fused together, Cloud couldn't cut the Kitsune, are the guy's tails made of diamond?
"I have to say you're a lot tougher than I thought, I haven't gone in this form since, and well it doesn't matter." Kuyo raised his hand and sent another full power blast of Fire that made Cloud use his sword to deflect it. What happened next was Kuyo punching Cloud in the face, causing the blonde to drop his sword and fly of the building, but before Cloud hit the ground he unleashed his wings, and hovered in place. Kuyo sent more balls of flame at Cloud all which Cloud batted away with his hands, surprising Kuyo.
"Since you're going all out, allow me to show my full strength." And with a Mighty flap of his tainted wings, Cloud zoomed down and tackled Kuyo off the building. That is if Kuyo didn't jump out of the way at a moment's notice. Kuyo opened his palm as several balls of fire floated around him, out stretching his arm he sent them towards Cloud. Cloud maneuvered dodging and slapping away the fire. Kuyo sent a bigger flame, and threw it at Cloud, and started to laugh as he watched Cloud get consumed with in the flame.
"Hahaha is that all you got." Kuyo's laugh was close to a person sick to his mind, but the laughter stopped when he notice the flame get smaller and disappear into Clouds hand. Cloud on the other hand smirked at the Kitsune, hiding how exhausted he was from absorbing such a large flame.
"Impossible, "Kuyo's determination faltered for a moment, "We fallen are resistant and can absorb even the hottest flame." 'But with a price,' Cloud's body acted on instinct as he dodged a wave of fire sent by Kuyo. "Don't under estimate me," in a blur Kuyo decked Cloud in the face and tried to follow up, when he noticed cloud had a firm grip on his wrist, "Got you," Cloud right hand glowed the ghostly Blue , and pounded the flame into Kuyo's face. The Kitsune flew like a bullet, and broke through the roof. Cloud slowly floated his way till he stood on the roof, and for a moment fell to his knees and tried to catch his breath.
'Damn it, my body still hasn't transformed the fire into energy.' Cloud then stood up ignoring the burning feeling in his body and the sweat pouring off his face. Just then Kuyo appeared directly behind Cloud, and heel kicked the fallen, into the forest. Cloud was about to regain control of his Flight when Kuyo was above him, both his hands held behind him, "let's see you absorb this!" Kuyo slammed both palms on Clouds chest and unleashed the energy into a flame, as Cloud not only broke a rib or two, he also made a crater bigger than the school and several feet below sea level.
Cloud struggled, pulling himself from the center of the crater, looking up to the closet ledge where Kuyo stood, "Let's see you survive without that sword," And just like that Cloud was busy blocking deflecting, feet fist and tails. But despite his efforts, a few punches and kicks got through. It wasn't long till Cloud found himself on the receiving blow of Kuyo's left hook, leaving our favorite blonde embedded to the side of the crater. 'Damn it, this guy isn't even SS-rank like a Basilisk, or Behemoth. Am I really that weak, or is he really that strong.'
Kuyo watched with excitement as Cloud pulled himself free from the side of the crater. No one before has been able to handle Kuyo's full strength, no student, anyway. Kuyo took a deep breath, calming himself down as he watch the Fallen angel stand back up, albeit slowly. "If this is your full power, I suggest you give up, and let us kill you peacefully."
Just then a memory flashed in Cloud's mind, "Cloud do you know why we fallen angels are called monsters?" Cloud looked up at his mother, Jenova who was carrying the triplets in her arms, and wings. "Is it because our race was cast out of heaven, for believing in Lucifer?" a Young Cloud asked, Sephiroth who was next to cloud surprisingly answered for Jenova. "Yes and No we are fallen, angels because our ancestor's followed Lucifer, but back then we were demons." Cloud gave a confused look as Jenova watched her eldest son educate the adopted child. "We are called Monsters, because we ended up sealing Lucifer away." "What does that have to do with anything?" Cloud asked confused his young brain no getting the point. "When we were cast out of heaven, god took away or righteous power, we were nothing, but Lucifer led all of the fallen down a dark path giving us power, power that made us demons. But when we sealed Lucifer away, we do our best not to use that power, and so we did what we could, being monsters." Cloud pouted still not getting it. "So we fallen angels don't use are full strength long ago our ancestors made a law preventing us to use the demonic power, cause when we do we gain a surprising amount of power." Cloud was about to ask a question when Jenova continued the little lesson, "But that's not all that happens, we might get a power boost but we lose what makes us living beings. We literal transform from a monster to a demon. And since we sealed Lucifer the leader of the demons, when we become demons he could control us, even when sealed."
"But what if we need transform into a demon, like if we can't beat something with our monster strength.?" One of the triplets, the only girl, being held by Jenova squirmed around accidently kicking one of her brothers in the face. Causing the baby to cry, Jenova easily took care of the situation, by handing the crying child Cloud to hold, "hold him for a moment," Jenova then went to place the other two in a crib, and when she came back she answered Cloud's question, "It's true in our monster form we can barely reach S-rank monsters without training, and the SS- rank monsters can overpower us, but because we train and learn to fight better, we can easily match and or become stronger than the other SS-rank monsters. So we don't need to use that form." When Jenova placed the last child into the Crib she looked at Cloud face to face, "That's why you must train," Cloud pouted, as Sephiroth just sighed and dragged cloud to train, "But I don't want to fight you Sephiroth," Cloud kept shouting.
"Thinking way back then, I should have gotten serious." Cloud said, confusing Kuyo "Let me just ask one thing." Cloud said standing, Kuyo looked amused "Is this… you full power." Kuyo looked confused. But then Cloud had bluish flames coursing through his entire body, Kuyo flinched once he noticed the ice dead eyes that was in the monsters body, 'This isn't right he seems different.' "If so, you won't be able to face this demon." Kuyo watched with shock as Cloud's wings turned from feathery to leathery, and Tribalism tattoos formed all over his visible skin, along with to demonic horns poking out from his head. Kuyo would have just shrugged it off, if he couldn't feel the massive killing intent and power behind the blonde's eyes.
"It's been a while, since you bastards used me strength" Said a voice that made Kuyo shiver, Cloud's eyes were now pitch black, and the blue ghostly flame was now burning so brightly the rest of the world seemed to darken, even if it was Mid-day. "So you're the one who made this worm crawl back to me. You disserve and award, how does death sound." Cloud, no the Demon said looking at Kuyo, with a lazy stance. " now let me show you a real MONSTER."
Scene Change
Gin dogged another blob of web, but before he could do anything the Giant and Cyclops were back at trying to hit him, 'I can see the patter now, heh now all I need is for the Giant to swing again.' That's exactly what happened, Gin too the chance to dodge side stepping instead of jumping back like normal, the Giant was surprised but Couldn't do much about getting kicked yb the wolf so hard it probably broke his nose, The Cyclopes tried to bring his club down on the wolf but, Gin back flipped and kicked of the Giant's head making the giant kiss the floor, and Gin made two quick slashes with his claws. The Cyclops didn't know what happened until he felt the pain, and the world went dark. That's right Gin made the Cyclops blind, by clawing out his eye.
The Cyclops swung around in pain, trying to get Gin but only resulted of knocking out the giant with his club and then falling, as he continued to roll around crying about his eye sight. Gin stood watching the sight, "Hey now, you both are ruining the status of B and A rank monsters." Sighing Gin barely had time to dodge one of the spider lady's legs, but now since he had to only worry about her, he easily dodged and parried the legs, and managed to put a few punches and kicks here and there and he got himself a knock out win.
Gin looked at his downed opponents and turned towards Cloud, who just got kicked in the forest, "Gee he is taking it hard," Gin's eyes widened when he saw the forest explode leaving a Giant crater large enough for him to see Cloud in the center. For a moment Gin was terrified, 'the hell was that,' But Gin shook himself, "Now's not the time to be scared, I can help Cloud now with his fight. Gin made his way to the crater, but by the time he got there he felt blood in his body freeze, he was so scared he didn't register that the light from the sun seemed to be retreating, as he saw blue fire surround a demon. "What the hell is happening?" Gin said after he managed to snap out of it, he notice Kuyo, still standing, waiting, that's when Gin smelt it. 'Is Kuyo afraid?' "Allow me to show you a real MONSTER."
Scene Change
To say Tsukune was both scared and shock was an understatement. Why is he scared you ask, the same reason why he is shocked, he just witness four girls royally beat the shit out of all 173 monsters, he made sure to count, that just showed up to deal with him. Some of you might question why is he scared, well when you see four generally nice girls beet up an army of people, and enjoying the chaos, for a normal weak human boy, it was terrifying.
He made it lesson to not piss of any girl, cause when they are mad, they are cruel ruthless creatures that don't fight fair. Tsukune recalled some of the male students be castrated in front of his eyes, in a disturbing way involving Ice, Nails and brute strength. The images to horrifying to recall.
"There, that's the last of them. Now what do we do." Kurumu said as she continuously stopped on a goblins butt. "We should Take Tsukune to get some medical treatment, "Yukari said sitting on a pile of wash pans that where on a pile of zombies. "Then we should see if Cloud is ok." Kurumu said, as Moka and Mizore, just agreed, Mizore looking over her grand work piece of ice, and Moka listening to the symphony of broken and lost souls begging for forgiveness.
"You girls are demons." Tsukune muttered, and instantly regretted it when they gave him a cold glare, "Maybe he doesn't need medication if he could still talk." Moka said, Tsukune instantly cringed. But that's when they notice the sky getting dimmer, "What is happening?" Yukari said. Moka got in a defensive stance, "I don't know we have to check it out, Yukari take Tsukune to the infirmary. "Allow me to show you a real MONSTER."
