Hello Readers! As you can see this is the last chapter of The Prince and The Avatar! I know I am so sad for this story to end but the next book will be out soon, have a general idea of what will be happening but I need to plan the story out a little more before I post anything :)

Epilogue

"Well." Iroh started with a huff as he helped load in the last of his girlfriend's things onto his ship "I believe that's the last of it." He says as he turns around to see Korra smiling over at him.

It's been a few months since Amon's attack and Republic City seemed to be back on its feet. There were a few rebel outbreaks from time to time but nothing Chief Bei Fong couldn't handle.

To replace the United Republic, a President has been elected to run Republic City just a month ago. It was a tough election considering both candidates did not go down without a fight but in the end Riako won.

Now it was time for Korra to continue her journey in the Fire Nation, though she was moving away did not mean she was going to abandon her Avatar duties, no matter what, the protection of the world was her first priority.

"I guess this is it?" Korra states as she stood in front of her friends with a smile on her face.

"Don't worry Kor, we'll visit you once hot head over here finishes his police training!" Bolin says while shoving his brother with his shoulder causing Mako to roll his eyes.

The former probender was now training with Republic City's Police Force and couldn't be happier with his new job.

Mako nodded his head towards Korra "Yeah as soon as things get less….crazy around here we'll be sure to visit, right Sami?" he asked wrapping his arms around his girlfriend.

"Of course!" Asami replied before giving Korra a hug "I don't know what I'm going to do without you, who am I supposed to talk girl things with now?"

Korra chuckled "You can always send me a letter, there are still messenger hawks around." She points out.

Asami rolled her eyes "The fire nation needs to get ahead in the technology world and have telephones. But I guess I'll settle with a letter, for now."

Korra bent down to hug all three of the air bending kids "Alright rascals, I'll miss training with you guys."

Jinora hugged the older girl tighter "I'll miss you the most, you're like a big sister to be Kor."

The Avatar smiled "Hey I'm moving not dying. Besides you guys will be joining me in the fire nation pretty soon, it won't be long, right Tenzin?" she asked looking up to her Master.

Tenzin nodded his head "I have already spoken to Pema, it'll be a few weeks before the kids and I join you to continue your air bending lessons, I trust the young prince will help you with your meditations." His grey eyes met Iroh's who nodded with uncertainty.

Saying he would actually help Korra was one thing but actually waking her up when the run rises wasn't going to be easy but Iroh had a few tricks up his sleeve to getting her to meditate. The thought made the Prince inwardly smirk.

"It'll be great Tenzin, when you get back I'll have meditation in the bag." She says waving a hand as him.

Tenzin shook his head "I'm sure you will Korra." She hasn't left yet and he was already feeling a migraine coming on.

Noticing the sun beginning to set, Iroh put a hand on Korra's shoulder "Come on Love, we need to get going if we want to make it to the Fire Nation before my mother sends out a search party."

She smiled and nodded her head before turning to her loved ones "I'll send a letter once we get to the Capital."

With that she and the General boarded the United Forces Ship waving goodbye to the people who meant the world to her. "You'll see them again soon, I promise." Iroh says wrapping his arms around her shoulders as they watched the Island disappear into the distance.

"Sir!"

Iroh turned to see his second in command, also his best friend Zian looking back and forth between the couple. "Ah so this is the famous Avatar I may presume?"

"You presume correct." Iroh replies with a grin before looking down at Korra "This is Zian, my second in command and best friend, seems like he had been hiding during our little war with Amon that I never got to introduce you two."

Korra's blue eyes studied the man, he was pretty handsome, almost as tall as Iroh with piercing light blue eyes, wild black hair, and ivory skin. He seemed as muscular as Iroh, must be from the United Forces training but still would be tiny compared to Bolin. He wore a red Uniform similar to Iroh's but with less metals on it. If she wasn't in love with Iroh, she could see herself pinning after this man.

Zian crossed his arms with a frown "As I recall, you needed someone to care for your men and your ship General while you were out saving the world."

Iroh chuckled and slapped his friend on the back causing the man to loose balance "And what a fantastic job you've done my Lieutenant."

Zian shoved his friend away "If your girlfriend wasn't standing here I would kick your ass!"

The General rolled his eyes "Did you have a reason to bother me and my girlfriend, Zian?"

The Lieutenant balled his fist before taking a deep breath "The skies are clear and the sea seems to be calm, for now, we should arrive in the Fire Nation by tomorrow night, that is if nothing goes wrong." He grumbled out.

"Seems like a smooth sailing from here Avatar, how would you like to retire for the evening?" Iroh asked as Korra let out a yawn and nodded her head.

"See you tomorrow Zian." Iroh called out.

"Goodnight Zian, it was nice to meet you." Korra says as they passed the Lieutenant.

"To you as well, the Beautiful Korra, and if you get bored with mister Bossy Boots over here, find me and we'll have a great time together." Zian says with a wink causing Iroh to throw a fireball at the snickering man who dodged the attack.

The next day passed in a blur to Korra and before she knew it, the men were announcing they were close to land.

She stood at the front of the ship as she stared at the approaching Nation, her stomach was in knots, this was it, it was the begging of a new chapter in her life with Iroh and she couldn't be happier but she couldn't help the doubt that creeped into her head. What if they didn't like her? Would the Fire Lord accept her and Iroh together?

Warm arms reached around her waist and pulled her to a hard body "Stop overthinking." Her love's deep raspy voice says quietly into her ear.

"I can't help it." She replied leaning her head back into Iroh.

He smiled into her hair "They'll love you, I promise."

Before she could reply the sound of cheers and clapping filled the air. "What is that?"

Zian approached the couple "It seems the Fire Nation is celebrating the return of the Crown Prince along with his Avatar. It's been awhile since Iroh has been home. The kingdom must missed this lug."

Korra's eyes widened as she listened to Zian, all of this was for her and Iroh? She felt pride in her chest as the cheering became louder and louder as the ship grew closer to the Capital City.

"Thanks Zian." Iroh replies dryly.

The Lieutenant smirked "Just doing my job."

Iroh pulled away from Korra and grabbed her hand intertwining their fingers together and the ship pulled into the dock. "Are you ready?"

Looking up at her Prince she nodded her head, she was ready for this, she wanted this.

"I'm ready."

The North Pole

"Father we have news to share with you about the Avatar." The two monotone voices called out as the Twins entered the throne room.

The Chief of the Northern Water Tribe nodded to his children giving them permission to continue as he pressed his fingers together in a relaxed position.

"We have received confirmation that the Avatar is now in the Fire Nation, it is rumored she will be married to the Crown Prince by the end of the year." One of the twins began.

"She will not be attending the Solstice Festival this year. Shall we postpone our plans father?" the other continued.

Unalauq raised a hand to silence them before rising to his feet "No, it seems like our attack on the Southern Water Tribe will be happening sooner than we expected." He paused and held his hands behind his back "Prepare our troops, double the training and make sure we are ready for war. If we cannot get to the Avatar, we will just make her come to us, starting with her homeland."

"Yes Father."

It was time for the Earth and Spirit World to be reunited again.

DUN DUN DUN.
