Naruto the Demi-Deity
Chapter 13
Naruto was thankful for the hunters. They were a major help for Artemis, making sure absolutely no one got too close to the cabin and making sure she had everything she needed.
It had been around a week or two since the quest ended and since Artemis wasn't in the mood to leave just yet they had stayed in her cabin at camp.
He had been at her side since then for nearly the entire time, only leaving once.
He knew he needed to handle Zeus since it was his paranoia that led to her capture by Atlas and the eventual miscarriage of their child but right now Artemis was his main priority and a beat down could always come later.
Areli had returned to her massive size which scared numerous campers, as she was standing guard outside the entrance to the cabin, and even seemed to get Artemis's attention.
"You befriended a monster and made it tame?" She asked still in her weak tone.
"Yeah, I met Areli at the Smithsonean and I made an agreement with her, I didn't tame her, just made her my teammate" he said as Areli huffed and nodded in agreement.
For a second he swore he saw a spark in her eye but it sadly was only there for a brief second before it faltered.
"You can take your time Artemis" he said as he kissed her hand. "However long it takes to recover I will still be here" he said as she frowned.
"Why..." She muttered as he looked at her.
"Why what?" He asked as she pulled her hand from his
"Why aren't you angry!" She yelled as tears fell from her eyes. "I lost our child! I was too weak!" She yelled as he hugged her.
"I would never be angry at you" he said as she cried into his chest. "You were kidnapped and forced to hold the sky. You held out for so long"
"But she's dead" Artemis choked out as he kissed the top of her head.
The fact that their child was a girl, also someone in her domain, made it all the more worse for her.
"Yes but you are safe" he said crouching down to her eye level. "We can move on from this with time. Not today, not tomorrow but in time we will" he said as she teared up and looked at him.
"But what about her! We can't forget her!" She cried as tears poured more so down her face.
"We will never forget her" he said as he put his hands on her shoulders. "We never forget but we cannot let the death hold us back and make us stop living" he said as she nodded.
"Death always happens and we remember the ones we lost but we keep living for them" he said as she sniffles and nodded.
Artemis nodded and sniffed "I-I want to be alone for a bit" she said as he nodded and kissed her forehead.
"I won't be too far" he said as she nodded. "I love you Artemis"
"I love you too" she said as she stared at the floor of her room.
He exited the room and sighed as he saw the hunters crowded around the door.
"Girls what did I say about giving her space?" He said as they frowned and grumbled.
"How is she?" Zoe asked as she hadn't been able to sleep since they returned.
"Recovering slowly but it is progress" he said as they nodded.
"I have to go, I will leave a clone with you" he said as Allison walked up to him
"Where are you going?" She asked as he sighed.
"To fix something that has been bothering me" he said as his mind was brought back nearly two weeks ago.
~ - Flashback - ~
They had gotten back to camp nearly three hours ago and the hunters were in full flurry, doing whatever they could to make Artemis's experience less rough. From getting her food to the younger hunters drawing her cards.
She was still unresponsive but she pet the smaller hunter's heads as they gave her cards.
He was currently pinching the bridge of his nose as he felt the frantic stabbing of a marker in the location of Olympus. He knew it was his mother and the fact she was calling him at a time like this meant that it must have been very important.
Areli noticed him and rose her head from her paws "Are you being called?" she asked as he nodded.
"Yes, look after Artemis, I'll leave a clone but I still don't like being away from her" he said as Areli nodded.
"If anyone tries to enter I will kill them" she said in a serious tone as she knew how much Artemis meant to her partner.
"Thank you" he said as he patted Areli's back before flashing away.
-Olympus-
Naruto frowned as he arrived in his mother's temple to see a very curious sight. It was filled to the brim with minor gods and goddess, dryads, nymphs and even every single major god and goddess, even Dionysus to his surprise.
Hestia and Hades were even there.
"I heard of your loss nephew" Hades said as he stood up and put a hand on Naruto's shoulder. "It always kills me to see a child's soul, let alone a relative. I made sure she was very carefully taken to Elysium" he said as Naruto clenched his hand.
"Thank you" he choked out as Hades stepped back and Hera stepped forward.
"Why have you called me Mom?" he asked a bit snippy but he wasn't in the mood to be away from Artemis.
"I am sorry I wouldn't call you if it wasn't important" she said as she rubbed his shoulders. "I called you to talk about Zeus" she said as he glared at her.
Not at her in anger, at the mention of Zeus. The man who essentially caused it all.
"If it's not to tell me I can kill him then I don't want to hear it" he said as he dug his nails into his palms.
She frowned but looked to Hecate, who nodded with a serious look on her face. "In a way it is" she said as he stared at her.
"We have a way to remove Zeus from power and ensure he stays that way. This latest bit of paranoia caused the loss of an unborn demi-god that would be a goddess, since Artemis would have made her so, and your daughter" she said Hecate stepped forward.
"There is an ancient ritual but it needs someone of Hera's descent that is a demigod. Zeus doesn't know of it and neither did I until some interesting sources gave it to me" she said as he nodded as she handed him the ancient tome.
"Who gave it to you?" he asked as three flashes lit up behind him.
"We did" three voices spoke out as he turned around to see the Fates and nearly dropped the book.
"Zeus has gone too far with his rule" they said, still in unison. "The death of a pure and innocent life due to his idiocy is a grave crime that cannot be forgiven".
"Honestly I'm surprised you didn't kill him then and there in the throne room" Apollo said as he still had the appearance of being serious and less bright.
"I was focusing on Artemis first and foremost, which is why I let Atlas off lightly for now and also why Zeus only got a punch from Poseidon so far. She came first at the time" he said as Apollo nodded and let a small smile form.
"Does this mean you will do the ritual?" Hecate asked as he nodded.
"When can it be done?" he asked as he handed the goddess of magic back the tome.
"We need to set everything up and get him into the array. All we need is your blood to write the circle and arrays and we should be done in a week, two weeks at the most then we can activate it" she said as he nodded.
"Take what you need but be fast, I need to get back to Artemis" he said as Ares walked up and handed him a glowing blue sword. It was made of dazzling gold and gave off a powerful aura.
"This is what we need to cut you to take your blood. It is Zeus's hidden sword, the Blade of Olympus (AN: Same one from God of War). He kept this a secret from us until the Fates gave it to us for this purpose" he said in a serious voice, missing his glasses, revealing his eyes and their dull fire in them.
From the looks of everyone the death of his child and Artemis's condition had affected them as well.
"Do it" he said as he rolled up his sleeve.
~ - Flashback End - ~
Due to his almost instant blood regeneration they had been able to take all the blood they needed in one go instead of taking several trips since the amount they needed was equal to one human.
They had told him they would call him once Zeus was in place and all he needed to do was stab the blade that had been used to draw his blood, which he had in his wrist seal into the array.
He was told to come once he felt his marker flash five times in a row, which was now. They told him the second he arrived to stab the ground with the sword and it would bind Zeus and allow him to be taken away.
Unsealing the sword he steeled his nerves as he flashed away.
-Olympus-
-Zeus POV-
Zeus was still in a mood ever since his brother assaulted him and the demigod dared to accuse him of the death of his niece or nephew.
The meeting was going along nicely until golden chains burst from his throne and he watched his wife stab one of her son's three pronged knives into the ground.
Safe to say he was furious.
-Naruto POV-
Naruto arrived in a flash and stabbed the blade down as a massive glowing golden circle appeared on the entire ground of the throne room and hands made of strings grabbed ahold of Zeus, breaking the golden chains.
The sword started to disintegrate but Naruto didn't care, it had served its purpose
Naruto stepped forward as the hands held him down, listening to his will and command since his blood summoned them.
"What are you doing!? How dare you do this to me boy!" Zeus yelled as Naruto went into his Six Paths cloak and slammed a chakra rod through the god's chest.
"How dare you cause all of this!" Naruto yelled as he stabbed another through Zeus's thigh. "Your paranoia lost me my daughter!" another rod went into his bicep "It made Artemis shatter!" one went through his throat.
Zeus was unable to talk but the look in his eyes made it clear he was furious as he struggled against the hands of string.
"It's no use, these are the Threads of Fate themselves. The Fates helped me set this up. The loss of a pure innocent soul by the brazen mistakes of a king have given you no right to rule" he said as the threads ripped off his arm and it turned to strings.
"You will become nothing Zeus, the blood on your hands has caught up to you" he said as another arm was taken.
"I want you to know one thing" he said as he crouched down to the fallen, heavily bleeding god. "Hades and the Fates assured me that you will suffer in Tartarus, never to reform, never to be free and never a break from the pain" he said as his torso slowly became threads.
"This is for my daughter!" he yelled as he stabbed Zeus through the eye with a chakra rod and left it there for a while as he bled out before he burst into strings.
He watched as all the strings were absorbed into the ground as one strong was left behind. It glowed electric blue.
He didn't know what it was there for until it suddenly bound around his arm and burned into him.
"The lineage of kings is now yours, but it cannot activate until you are a god and it will turn you so when the time has come. Choose a replacement until the time has come" the Fates spoke in his mind as he nodded and clenched his hands.
He was a bit upset he didn't get to torture Zeus more but he was confident Tartarus would do it for him.
He fell to his knees as he felt the others return. He turned to his mother and smiled weakly as she went to help him up.
He wasn't in pain, more exhausted. He hadn't slept in two weeks and he had gotten revenge for his daughter.
"Mom you are in charge of Olympus until I become a god apparently" he said showing them the thread around his arm and explaining the situation to them.
"That is fine" she said as she pet his head with a sad smile.
"Good" he said as he passed out in his mother's arms.
Hera smiled as she turned to Hades "Is it nearly finished?" she asked as Hades nodded.
"Yes it is, we have to wait another six months but after that the deal is done" he said as Hera nodded.
"Thank you brother" she said as he waved her off.
"Nonsense sister, whatever I can do to help I will" he said as she smiled.
"I must get Naruto back to camp, after that we can discuss the changes that are about to take place" she said as the entire council nodded as she flashed away.
-Naruto-
Naruto woke with a groan as he found himself in Artemis's cabin, more specifically in the seat he sat in most of the time while he watched over Artemis.
He looked around to see Artemis staring at him. "Your mother dropped you off. Where did you go?" she asked as he smiled at her.
"Just righting a few wrongs" he said as he held her hand and kissed it.
There was a comfortable silence until Artemis stared at him again.
"H-How do you move on?" she asked with a frown. She had never really lost someone this close to her and she was a bit afraid of what to do.
He smiled softly as he stroked her hand. He was happy she was getting there and on the path to returning to her normal self.
"You remember them fondly, you keep them in your mind but don't let them keep you from living. I've had to do that with my godfather and my good friend Neji. They lost their lives, one trying to end an evil and the other protecting me" he said as she squeezed his hand.
"C-Can we make a grave for her, it might help" she said as he nodded.
"I'll use my Mokuton to create a beautiful cherry blossom tree for her marker in your temple" he said as she nodded and pulled on his arm as she scooted over on her bed.
Naruto smiled as he sat next to her, letting her rest her head on his lap.
"W-We can try again?" she said a bit worried.
"Of course, after the war and everything, maybe then I'll be a god" he said as he stroked her auburn hair making her smile softly.
"I'd like that" she said as she drifted off to sleep, for the first time in nearly two weeks

Okay this chapter was to clear things up since I got so many reviews saying "Zeus/Atlas got off too light!"
He was focused on getting Artemis to his mother since she was in a bad situation and needed help. He didn't have time to set her down and beat up Zeus, plus he'll get back to Atlas later since at the time he just wanted to cause some pain and get him back under the sky and get her away from there.
Zeus is being tortured in Tartarus, Hera is Queen of Olympus (aka ruler) and Naruto will be king when the time comes.
Atlas will get tortured in an omake or something
The plan of Hades and Hera will be revealed in later chapters.
Artemis is showing signs of recovering but it will be a very very slow progress, this is only the beginning.
I thought up the idea of the ritual out of nowhere and I have to say it worked nicely.
Warning: This dual chapters in one day is a ONE TIME THING so don't get any ideas of that asking will get you them.
