This chapter, I decided I was going to play on Kusano's powers a bit. Everyone believes her power is of a Plant-like nature. When, really, she says in one of the Manga chapters that Shiina's power is the opposite to her own. I.e., Death. Meaning her power is Life, so it shouldn't be subject to anything only plant-based, ne? So yeah, I'm going to really pull at you guys' hearts and bring you on a rollercoaster regarding Kuu. Beware, you have been warned. It will get pretty BOOM.

And as they say in my Country: If yuh nuh like it, bite it J

Ja'ne.

Detour

Ekai and Homura waited patiently as their plans slowly fell into place. Each patrol was running as expected; each pair of on duties, passing at their allotted time. Ekai looked up above him and spotted a ledge directly above himself and Homura.

"Homura, that ledge above us" Ekai's voice was barely audible to the untrained ear. "Is it supposed to be there?" Ekai's head turned slowly as he realised he was answering his own question. The area around the two Sekirei begun to waver and ripple, slowly leaving nothing but a clear area and a single female standing in the middle of the room. The woman looked straight in to Homura's eyes, and smiled. Her head was shaven; her attire was simple; a long, slightly fitted, Grecian-style dress with white and blue dotted all about it. The Sekirei's arms were on show, with the number 26 lightly wavering on it.

The Sekirei got closer to Ekai and Homura, her body swaying seductively with every step she took. As her feet touched the ground, the area in her foot's proximity rippled like a single drop of water on a calm body of water. The two male Sekirei stood in confusion as they adjusted to the new surroundings; trying to answer their questions, such as 'where are we?' and 'How did we get here?'

The female Sekirei slowly walked until she was directly in front of Minato's two Sekirei. She reached out to stroke Ekai's face, her hand hovering over his cheek, before deciding not to touch him.

"Impurity, it is burning me." The Sekirei in the dress said softly. She looked at Ekai, her eyes a dreamy hue of violet. She tilted her head to the left, whilst still looking Ekai in his eyes; no emotions being shown. "My name is Seiren, No. 26. I am one of the three protectors of the MBI headquarters. Ekai, Homura." Sekirei number 26 slowly levitated backwards, before placing herself gently on the ground again.

"Are we in a different Dimension?" Ekai asked.

"No, an illusion." Seiren coughed; causing the entire area to rumble. "Of which you will have to be ejected from." The area begun to get colder as she spoke. "Your power, Homura, is of a natural, elemental nature. Ekai, yours is a product of beings. Unnatural. Impure."

Ekai fell to his knees, feeling his body becoming inexplicably heavy. He searched for breath, only to be unable to find any. Homura's hands formed fire balls and with a swift gesture, a large ring of fire circled around the two male Sekirei, with the flames catching on to Seiren's dress. Seiren jumped and allowed herself to float in the air, her eyes turning white, her mouth opening celestially.

"You are not here with ill intentions, yet your intentions are not parallel to the ideas of the MBI. You cannot go any further. Sekirei 26, Seiren." With a blink of an eye the three Sekirei's surroundings changed, from an empty spacious void, to a large waterfall. Seiren, placed herself at the top of the waterfall and dropped both Ekai and Homura in to the water; watching them struggle for air.

Kusano walked hand-in-hand with Takami as they made their way to the Modification Centre. The security bells went off at an alarming rate as Takami brought Kusano through each of the 12 barriers needed.

"Ma'am, we'll need to see your ID" The final Security Guard said, placing his hand in front of him to prevent Takami and Kusano from venturing any further without permission.

"Are you trying the insult me. Get out of my way before I pop both of your balls" a dark, ominous aura filled the area that Takami was in, leaving the guard feeling guilty and extremely afraid of the Doctor. The guard nodded and gave way for the woman and Sekirei to pass through the final gate.

Four doors, intermittently opened, allowing Kusano to see the room she was born and woken up in. But it was bigger and better than she could ever remember. Kusano ran in to the middle of the room and threw her arms out wide by her side, twirling in elation as she took in the surroundings with every blink she could take. The room to Kusano, the beauty of it all, begun to overwhelm her as she begun to stand still; she felt her legs buckle under her weight and swiftly landed upon the floor. In her head, the room was magnificent yet daunting. Beautiful yet domineering. Life was ended and begun in this room.

Takami was at one of the Terminated Sekirei's capsules; checking the diagnostics of the being inside of the glass and metal chamber. Kusano took this as an opportunity to signal to the group that she had gotten to the final part of the plan. All she needed was for them to arrive ASAP.

"So, this is where I was tweeked" Kusano spoke to the group by discreetly pressing the button on her earpiece, expecting Takami to hear "This is where all the Sekirei go when they are terminated" And as she spoke, Kusano found herself to be taken by the emotions of all the sleeping Sekirei in the room. So many had died. So many lost; whether they had received their Sekirei Crest or not. Kusano, being the empath she was, felt everything. And it begun to engulf her. She began to hysterically cry, unable how to control her emotions, her powers begun to get out of control. The pain from everybody in the room begun to resonate in her; causing her to begin to do all she could to stop the hurt she was feeling. Her powers begun to go awry, the Sekirei in their chambers began to move, their eyes still closed.

"Kuu-chan, what's going on?!" Takami was holding on to the ledges for her dear life, everything becoming out of control. The Sekirei's vitals were going through the roof, and Takami had turned off the emergency alarms and also locked all the proceeding doors as she was planning to run some tests on the Terminated Sekirei which would have set off the alarms in the beginning. Takami begun to walk towards Kusano, but before she could get past the chamber of the Sekirei she was originally checking, an arm of that Sekirei broke through the glass, causing Takami to jump back.

"It's time, she needs her first Norito" every Sekirei in the room spoke, their voices booming, echoing and vibrating in the room.

Tsukiumi was in the MBI headquarters, dressed as a lab assistant, she blended in very well with Natsuo's common fan-base worth of girls and effeminate guys. She waited as she was toured around the building, knowing in a few moments, they will be led to the Modification Centre and the name badge that she had stolen was supposed to be the next student to help out Takami.

At the group of 15 lined up, Tsukiumi lined up at the 14th person, waiting to be led into the room Kusano was in. A tall man with dark hair called out the name "Tomoyo Kinomoto" And there was silence. Tsukiumi looked down at her shirt and glimpsed her name badge, realising the name was hers.

"Oh, oh, here!" She said, flustered. She ran in front of the tall man, looking him innocently dead in the eyes.

"You're a beautiful young lady. I haven't met you before. After this, perhaps you could come around and update me on your recent work and how I could better help you" As the man was speaking, Tsukiumi caught a glimpse of something falling past the window and instantly knew that it was Minato. With a quick gesture, Tsukiumi threw a bubble of water through the window, causing the glass the shatter and the other 14 students to begin panicking immediately. Tsukiumi created a giant bubble of water, and trapped everyone in it; knowing that if they were set free, they would alarm the other people and thus, be unable to save Uzume.

Swiftly, Tsukiumi proceeded to the door of the Modification Centre, watching the doors open and seeing a waning Kusano on the ground.
