Chapter 13: A feeling deep in my heart, my secret story about my past pt.5
It was dark grey skies as the heavy rain fell over Jaden's neighbourhood, the sound of the thunder from the clouds as this storm continued. Jesse and Jaden were still sitting on Jaden's bed the teal haired teen had a faint smile as remembered that winter morning with Shawn. Jaden looked at his friend as he looked like his mind was elsewhere, just then the brunette tapped Jesse's shoulder snapping him out of his trance.
"Hey are you alright Jess? You look like your daydreaming?'' Jaden asked his friend who looked confused but then he gently smiled at Jaden
"I'm fine Jay... I was just thinking back on that day... It was just one of the happiest days of my life'' Jesse said with a bright smiled as he saw the image of Shawn holding him in his arms in his mind
"I don't think before that I had ever had those kinds of feelings for a boy...'' Jesse said to Jaden as he laid back on Jaden's bed looking at the ceiling
"Well from what you've told me from your story... It sounds like you were in love with this guy'' Jaden said which made Jesse smile brightly
"Yeah... He was the first real relationship I had with another person...'' Jesse said as he remained silent as Jaden looked at him
"So I take it that you're not together anymore?'' Jaden asked as Jesse's face went sad as the brunette had a worried look as he felt he had said the wrong thing
"Oh I'm sorry Jesse I didn't mean to... You don't have to answer that'' Jaden said as Jesse gave his friend a faint smile before looking back at the ceiling
"It's okay Jaden... If you wanna hear more I can continue?'' Jesse asked his friend as Jesse suddenly paused he stared at Jaden's eyes as he a caring look in his eyes
"That look...'' the teal haired teen simply said as Jaden looked a little confused as Jesse sat up
"What? What did you say?'' Jaden asked when suddenly Jesse placed his hands on Jaden's face who blushed slightly as Jesse examined the brunette's brown eyes
"Your eyes... That look you had... There just like... Just like that boy's'' Jesse said as Jaden slightly clenched his eyes still confused
"Whose...? You mean Shawn's eyes...?'' Jaden asked in slightly quiet tone as he was blushing more faintly
"No, not Shawn... This other boy I knew, I didn't really know him... It was when I was younger'' Jesse as he took his hands off Jaden's face backing away as Jaden looked dazed
"What happened when you were younger Jesse?'' Jaden asked as his friend as he finally snapped out of his trance as Jesse started to think back
"Well it's a little hazy... It actually happened here in domino city Jay, about maybe...'' Jesse said as he tried to remember how long it was ago as he counted it up in his head
"About 6 years ago or so... It was a time when we were visiting my grandma and cousin near the end of summer vacation" Jesse said as he looked out the window, he had just notice it was raining outside
"It was raining all day that day... We had gone to visit my grandpa's grave you see...'' the teal haired explained as he saw an image of his family gathered around a gravestone in a cemetery with a church in the distance as the rain fell over them
"I think there was a funeral or something... Cause there were a lot of people gathered in the church, cars parked around the church too'' Jesse said as Jaden face went a pale as he suddenly flashbacked to a scene where he's in a church and it's raining
"What...'' Jaden simply said as it sound too familiar to him as Jesse tried to think about it more as the memories came back to him
"And there... There was this boy... about my age... He was sitting under a tree, I think he was... Yeah he was crying'' Jesse said as the brunette's eyes opened wide with shock
"I went over to him... I stood right in front of him and asked him...'' Jesse was about to finish as Jaden went white, as he remembered the dream he had the other week
"What's wrong, why are you crying kid?'' the two teens said simultaneously as they both widen their eyes in shock as they slowly turned to look at each other
"No way... You...'' that's all Jesse could say as he looked at Jaden and tried to remember the boy from that day, as Jaden realised that his dream was a memory
"That boy... From my dream, he... He hugged me... and then he told me...'' Jaden said as he thought back to that day, as he looked at Jesse as there was a moment of silence between them
Inside Jaden's mind he remembered back to that day, the younger boy who was now revealed to be Jesse was holding Jaden in his arms, stroking his hair as he cried. The rain fell on them.
Jaden had his arms wrapped around the boy who then kissed him on his forehead as Jaden looked at him with watery eyes. Jaden's watery brown eyes deeply looked at the younger Jesse's emerald eyes and then Jesse whispered something into the young Jaden's ear with the faintest smile...
It's okay... Don't cry... I'll stay with you until you stop crying...
"You were the boy from my dream... You were there on that day'' Jaden said in saddened tone as the image of his parents smiling faces suddenly appeared in his face
"Wow... That's so... So weird, we met 6 years ago... And then we met again! Talk about coincidence huh?'' Jesse said as he looked at Jaden smiling, but his smile vanished when he saw Jaden's depressed face
"Jay... Jaden what's wrong?'' Jesse said as he reached out for his friend who moved away, Jesse had a worried expression as he moved over to Jaden, then he realised something
"Jaden... Why were you there at the cemetery that day...? And why were you... Why were you crying?'' Jesse asked his friend who remained silent
"My... My parents... It was my parents' funeral...'' Jaden finally said with a deep sigh as Jesse had a look of concern as he slowly and gently put his hand on Jaden's shoulder
"Oh Jaden... I'm so sorry... Is that what you meant when you said your parents had gone'' Jesse asked his friend who simply nodded, then the brunette looked at the photo of his parents by his dresser
"Yeah... I didn't mean to lie, it's just...'' Jaden was about to speak but he stopped, his eyes began to water when suddenly Jesse pulled him into a hug as the brunette started to blush a faint pink, his eyes wide open
"It's okay Jaden... I understand... You don't need to explain'' Jesse said in gently tone as Jaden let out a sigh of relief as Jesse gently stroked his hair as Jaden's blush deeply
(Jaden's Thoughts)
He was there... Jesse was the boy from my dreams... My memories...
Jesse... The way he speaks to me... The way he's holding me...
Why is it so...? So comforting... Wait, what I'm I thinking, I'm not gay... Am I...?
"Are you alright now Jaden?'' Jesse asked Jaden who paused for a moment and he suddenly put on a big grin and starting chuckling as Jesse looked confused but then he smiled
About five minutes later, the two were playing a quick of duel monsters then Yubel called them down for dinner, after learning that the two had met when they were kids and after sharing personal things about their past. Jaden and Jesse felt that they had become even closer to each other.
(Later on)
"So Jess... What happened after that with you and Shawn...?'' Jaden asked Jesse who smiled at him and then placed his hand on his neck and sighed with in happy manner
"After that day... Shawn and I became inseparable, we spent almost every moment together...'' Jesse said closing his eyes as he began to envision those days in his past
(Flashback: 2 years...)
It was back at Jesse's high school, it had been a couple of days since Shawn and Jesse's moment, since then the two were meeting in secret, making excuses, spending any spare time with each other. It was during last period, Shawn, Jesse, and Lucas were in chemistry performing experiments as instructed by their teacher.
All the students in the class were wearing lab coats, gloves and safety glassed for their protection. Lucas was reading through their notes, while Jesse was measuring the amount of chemicals in the test tube, Shawn was separating some setting the apparatus for the experiment.
While doing that Shawn's eyes looked into Jesse's direction, he was entranced by Jesse, he smiled deeply at the sight of his new boyfriend. Just then the teal haired boy looked up to see Shawn who returned back to setting up the equipment while Jesse smiled and blushed faintly.
"Alright, once you've set your apparatus, we can begin the experiment'' the science teacher said to his class as they were on the same stage of the experiment
"Remember this is a delicate experiment, so please be careful with the chemicals" the science educator added reminding his students, as he waited for his students to set up their equipment
"Hey, are you guys done setting up the equipment?" Lucas asked his friends as the two stopped glancing at each other returning their attention back to their Lucas
"Oh yeah, umm... Yeah, were done, we can start the experiment now" Jesse said as Shawn had finished setting up their apparatus as did the rest of the class
"Alright class, come and collect a busen burner for the experiment" the teacher said as he had just taken a box containing the gas burner devices on his desk
"Oh Jesse and Shawn... Could you do me a favour, and go the storage room and get another box of busen burners" he added as Jesse and Shawn looked at each other and then nodded as they got the key from him and left the classroom
Jesse and Shawn left the room as they walked down the hallway, the two glanced at each other as they sped up their walking. They were both smiling as they continued to increase speed in their walking when Shawn took Jesse's hand as they ran down the empty hallways.
About five minutes later the two teens had reached the storage room, Jesse was looking around for the bunsen burners while Shawn was leaning on the door with his arms crossed. He had seductive smirk as he watched his boyfriend who looked back a couple of times blushing faintly.
"You know... You could help me look for this instead of just staring at me Shawn" Jesse said not looking at Shawn when suddenly he heard the sound of a door locking
"What the...?" Jesse said as he turned to see Shawn jingling the key in his hands smirk at Jesse who looked a little annoyed as he walked over to Shawn
"Gimme the key Shawn?" Jesse slightly demanded as he reached for key only to have Shawn swing his hand in another direction as Jesse tried to get the key off him
"Stop playing around Shawn, come on give me the key!" Jesse said as he was trying to get the key as Shawn get moving it away from him as he waited until Jesse was close enough
"Gotcha!" Shawn shouted as he dropped the key by his foot and grabbed Jesse by the waist who looked shocked as his boyfriend had a huge grin as surprised Jesse by kissing him, the two locked lips as Jesse's face was completely red as he kissed him back
Situations like those kept occurring almost twice a week at school...
Anytime we were alone, or had free period together, we'd just...
Time skip: next week
It was about 11:30 in the school, everyone was in lessons or free periods around the school, in the art department on a table Sophie and Lucas were waiting around. Sophie was going some colour palettes, and Lucas was reading a book, Sophie had anxious expression as she looked at the clock to see the time.
"Oh come on... Shawn and Jesse should've been here by now... I wonder what's keeping them" Sophie asked herself as Lucas looked at her from the corner of his eye
"Relax little sister... I'm sure that there on their way... There probably getting their stuff or in the bathroom or something" Lucas said as Sophie nodded in agreement
Meanwhile in the boys bathroom 'ironically' Jesse and Shawn were making out, Jesse was setting on a side next to the sinks. His legs and arms were wrapped Shawn's body as his boyfriend had his arms around Jesse as they deepen their kiss, Jesse was moaning as red head smirked as he placed his hand up Jesse's shirt.
"Ah... W... Wait, hold on, not here... Not here Shawn" Jesse said slightly out of breath as he looked around their 'setting' as Shawn looked at him
"Sorry... I can't help it, you're just so tempting... You make it hard not to..." Shawn said with a faint smiled as Jesse blushed at him, then Shawn slowly continued to stroke his chest as Jesse let out a moan
"Shawn... Stop, we can't... Be... Besides, the others are waiting for us" Jesse said as he gently pushed Shawn away from him as Shawn had a grin on his face
"Ah okay then..." Shawn said as he buttoned back Jesse's shirt who smiled faintly at him as they looked at each other deeper Jesse gently kissed Shawn which made him blush
With each passing day we got closer and closer... We were really in love, we had... 'Tender' moments...
Time skip: 2 weeks later
It was snowing over the city, the school had just started their Christmas vacation a few days ago, with only 6 days till Christmas. Shawn, Jesse, Sophie and Lucas were at a Christmas party with their friends, everyone was in at Sophie and Lucas's place. Their parents were away for the night so they decided to throw a party, everyone was in the living room dressed in warm clothing socialising.
A fire was lit, the table was covered with food and drink, a few teens were on the sofa watching a film, and some were outside having a snowball fight. They were also giving early Christmas gifts to each other, all in all everyone was in good spirits. Sophie and Lucas were playing host to their guests while Jesse and Shawn were upstairs they were sitting on a bed in one of the rooms...
"Hey Shawn is something bothering you... We should head back downstairs, the others will wonder where we are?" Jesse asked his boyfriend who looked at a little uneasy
"Well... Jesse, we've been going out for nearly a month now and since its Christmas and all..." Shawn said in a nervous tone as he reached for something in his pocket as Jesse looked curious as he pulled a small rectangle green gift box with a red bow
"Shawn... Is that for me?" Jesse asked in a shocked and sincere expression as Shawn blushed a faint pink as he extended the gift to Jesse who smiled brightly
"Thank you Shawn... That's so sweet" Jesse said with happy tone as Shawn smiled as Jesse grabbed him into a hug, rubbing his cheek against Shawn's
"You haven't opened it yet Jesse..." Shawn said as Jesse looked a little confused
"Shawn, I can't... I have to wait till Christmas" Jesse said slightly chuckling as he looked at the gift
"I know but... This can't wait Jesse... Please" Shawn said as Jesse smiled at him and then he looked hack his gift as he slowly started to unwrap it
Jesse gently took off the red bow, and slowly tore off the green wrapping paper revealing a leather box, Jesse's eyes were filled with excitement as he took off the lid. Shawn looked a little anxious as Jesse removed the lid revealing a shining emerald pedant with a silver chain, Jesse was entranced as he took up the necklace in his hand.
"Shawn... It's so beautiful... Where'd you get this?" Jesse asked Shawn as he was a little shocked as Shawn rubbed the back on his head
"Do you like it...? It's a family treasure, my grandpa gave it my grandma, who then passed it to my parents, and then my mother gave it to me" Shawn explained as Jesse looked at him
"Shawn, I can't accept this... It belongs to your family, you can't just give this away" Jesse slightly protested as Shawn blushed faintly and laughed
"Actually... I can... You see in my family... This pedant is passed down to the next generation... The owner then gives to the person they love as a gift" Shawn said as Jesse's eyes widened with slight shock
"Shawn..." Jesse simply said as he realised what he was truly holding in his hand as he eyes faintly watered as he smiled sincerely at Shawn
"I know it's a little mushy but... I really feel strongly about you and..." Shawn was cut off as Jesse pressed his lips against Shawn's tackling down on the bed, the red hair was left a little shocked as Jesse kissed him deeply
I was really touched by that... He gave something that precious to his family to symbolize our relationship...
I felt that nothing could severe the bond of our hearts, our love... But... Some things...
(End of flashback)
Jaden looked at Jesse who had stopped mid sentence, he had a slightly depressed expression on his face, and he was crouched with legs between his arms. The brunette looked a little worried as he hesitantly extended his arm out and played it on Jesse's shoulder, the teal haired teen slightly turned his head looking at him, Jaden gave him a faint smile as did Jesse.
"Some things what Jesse...? What were you trying to say" Jaden asked Jesse who smiled at him and then put his hand down his shirt as pulled out a familiar emerald pedant as Jaden glanced at it
"Is that... The pedant he gave you... The one Shawn gave you..." Jaden asked as Jesse nodded as he held the pedant in his hand and then he took a deep breath
"Some things Jay... Some things aren't meant to last..." Jesse said in a very crypt manner as Jaden's eyes slightly widen at his friend's statement
"Jesse..." Jaden simply said as Jesse remained silent, his eyes watered as shed a single tear which rand down his cheek and then he chuckled
"It's kinda of silly... I don't know why I'm crying, I'm taking about the good times, but I'm thinking about the bad times as well" Jesse said as more tears came running down as Jaden looked so concerned
Jaden looked at his friend with such worry, he didn't want to see him cry, then the brunette without even thinking Jaden put arm around Jesse. The teal haired boy looked at him as Jaden began to wipe the tears away from Jesse's face as the two boys looked deeply at each other. Their eyes were locked on each other as Jaden gently stroked Jesse's cheek and then faintly smiled for a moment.
"Jesse... You don't have to say anymore for now... We can talk about this another time, so don't worry about it" Jaden said as Jesse looked at a little wide eye and then Jaden quickly pulled him into a hug
"Jaden!" Jesse simply said as he was a little shocked as he suddenly blushed a faint pink as Jaden was slightly blushing as well, then the two friends looked at each other as there was silence between them
Then out of nowhere Jaden had a huge grin on his face, as Jesse looked confused, then seconds later Jesse smiled at him. The two grinned at each other and then they started laughing, no reason whatsoever, they just kept on laughing not knowing why. The two friends continued to laugh as the rain continued to fall from the sky outside.
Later on, it was about 9pm the rain was still going but not as heavy, Jesse's cousin had come in her car to pick him up. She was honking her horn as she was parked outside Jaden's place, just then their front door open as Jesse walked out to the porch as Jaden stood in the doorway. Jesse waved at his cousin signalling her that he was coming, and then he returned back to Jesse.
"Well thanks for having me Jay, it was really great... Tell your sister that I enjoyed myself" Jesse said thanking his friend who rubbed the back of his head
"Ah don't worry about it Jesse, it was great having you over buddy" Jaden said in response as he extended his hand out as did Jesse as they both grasped their hands tightly as they smiled at one another
"Alright then... I'll see you around, and Jay... Thanks for listening to my story" Jesse said in a sincere manner as Jaden nodded in response as he let go of his friend hand
"You're welcome Jesse... I'll see you later" Jaden said as the pair smiled at each other as Jesse walked off heading to car as he got inside waving away at his friend as the car pulled out and drove off as Jaden paused by the doorway still smiling
"Yeah... See ya around Jesse..." Jaden said to himself as he pictured the day at the funeral of a younger him and Jesse under that tree and smiled faintly as he returned back inside

Evening everyone! Or afternoon or something depending where you are, hoped you enjoyed the new chapter. Took a while to do this one just finished the last 2000 words today, so sorry that it took so long but I had a writer's block. Also the reason I changed the rating for this story is that I feel in later chapters there will be more mature and yaoi content.
Anyway next time Jaden begins to ponder his feelings for Jesse and he eventually comes to terms with that his heart's decided. Please leave your reviews and I'll update as soon as possible. Hopefully I will have a new chapter by the weekend... Hopefully!
