Hello readers and happy Monday/Tuesday! I hope you've had a nice weekend and that you'll enjoy this update.

JadeEOliver: I would say she just didn't get a chance to get Jade as getting Tori was just a stroke of luck since the animals didn't nab her.

Fanfic-Reader-88: Also, stabbed in the gut and chest then through the mouth and out the back. Dalton was going to make sure that thing died. Should Robbie watch his back after all this, maybe because Trina is justifiably pissed for nearly being killed.

Tori and Cat are lucky for the moment. Bissette is dangerous and she has a goal, what is that goal is still a mystery. What she's allowing the 'animals' to do is simply a mutually beneficial arrangement, one in which benefits her more and they won't turn on her.

Getting turned into a vicious killing machine can really do something to one's ego, so he might want a rematch with Jade.

Death is coming, who for is the question.

You're welcome.

Guest: Thank you. I hope you like this one.

Twilight Warrior 627: Thank you. I did try to have a twist to the original story of other than just some unexplained creatures and the secrets revealed actually making a difference to the plot. Is Dusty one of them? We'll see. Hope you enjoy this chapter.

Guest: We'll see what happens to Tori and Cat, if they'll get to them fast enough.

Also, I updated my story 'Old Toothie Faces', so I hope you will check that out as a pure Supernatural story.

Chapter 13

At the cave entrance, Bissette was still speaking with the other creature in a clearly authoritative voice, "Sherman should have been back here by now. Track him down and bring him back with a few more girls if you can. You can have your fun, but not at my expense."

If the monster was unhappy with being spoke to in that manner, it didn't show it and dutifully nodded his head and was about to take off, but a male voice called out down the shallow valley in a perpendicular direction that Seth had ran, "Tori! Jade! Anybody!"

Bissette and the animal turned their attention in the direction of the shouting and a wicked smile formed on the teacher's face. "Change of plans, go after him and put him down then look for Sherman."

The animal growled and started running down the trail and towards its quarry.

The teacher happily turned back towards the cave as after all, she couldn't have any male stumble across her sanctuary.

Seth was left alone and unconscious where they had ambushed him and apparently didn't care if he bled out in the meantime. He groggily started returning to consciousness and the pain of two shattered kneecaps and a silver .45 slug in his shoulder. He clenched his teeth and growled. He rolled from side to side like a turtle stuck on his back. He knew he wasn't going to be able to crawl anywhere for help and if he didn't transform to heal, he'd bleed out before anyone found him.

However, he wasn't going to do that with the silver round still in his right shoulder, so he clenched his teeth again and stuck his left forefinger and thumb into the bullet hole and dug for bullet. He growled and groaned in pain as his fingers moved around inside the wound, but the pain was worth it as his fingers gripped around the bullet. His nails initially scraped the bullet, but caught enough on it to pull it out.

The silver burned his finger tips with a faint bit of smoke coming from the contact and tossed it away. He rolled on his back and heavily breathed. He closed his eyes and pushed down the pain and focused on that animalistic core that made him something other than human.

He roared as his bone, muscle and skin began knitting up and the rest of his body started turning gray. His muscles started gaining bulk and face started morphing, his nose and mouth started expanding and becoming one while his teeth started turning black and extended.

He finished his transformation within a few more moments, but it took another two to three minutes for his wounds to heal. However, once they had finished, he stood up and growled and filled with a thirst for vengeance towards Freddie that had to be quenched.

Seth sniffed once then twice then picked up Freddie's scent then set off after him.

Jade walked out of the same tree line that Tori had exited as she approached the cave entrance. She easily spotted the light and called out, "Hello? Anybody? Is anybody here? Can someone help me?"

Bissette quickly exited the cave, the lantern silhouetting her and spotted the teenager. She returned the shout and waved her over, "Jade! Over here!"

Jade paused for a moment, a sliver of fear going through her in knowing the pleasant teacher was behind this hell of a night, but forced it down. She jogged to the teacher, covering the distance in fairly short order, and grabbed the teacher's upper arms for stability. She heavily breathed out as if she had just been running for dear life and spoke out in a panicky voice, "Oh thank God! I thought I was the only one left!"

The teacher put on a sweet and reassuring smile and answered in a motherly voice, "It's okay. You're safe. You're safe."

Jade looked over her shoulder and whimpered to the point of near tears, "No, we're not safe. Those… things are out there. I think those things got Tori and Jessica. I don't… I don't know where anyone else is."

Bissette grabbed Jade's shoulders and answered in a firm voice to get Jade to focus as she thought the girl was about to go into a panic attack, "Tori's alright. She's in the cave with me. We were able to call for help and she's hiding in here with me until they get here. We're safe."

Jade sighed in relief, some of it an act, some of it a spark in her that she denied in caring about her rival. She knew it wasn't entirely true, but if everything went according to plan in the next few minutes, it would be fine.

The dark haired teacher turned to stand beside Jade and wrapped an arm around her shoulders to lead her into the cave. "Let's get inside before one of those things show up."

Jade nodded and eagerly led inside.

They proceeded down the well lit cave and came upon the first bend in the cave in just a handful of paces. They made the turn and Jade froze at the sight of about ten girls in two rows practically hanging by their arms from the ceiling. She instantly spotted Tori and Cat and recognized Alesha in the first row.

Tori's eyes opened in surprised at spotting Jade. She shouted at the top of her lungs, "Jade? RUN!"

Bissette deviously smiled and stated in a calm voice, "Oh she's not going anywhere."

Jade turned to the teacher and put on a fearful expression… trying her best not to smirk to tip her hand off that the confident teacher was the one that was in the trap.

The creature known as Sherman raced down the former riverbed as a wolf chasing down his prey and quickly came upon André standing on a large bolder imbedded into the riverbed and riverbank with several smaller rocks used for stepping stones to reach the top. He stopped a dozen yards away, easily spotted by the well known songwriter under the moonlight.

André held up his hands and nervously laughed, "Whoa there big fella. Let's calm down. I'm sure I can get you anything you want instead of trying to eat me. How about a nice chew toy or ride in my car where you can hang your head out?"

The animal didn't seem too impressed and slowly stalked towards the easy going guy.

André laughed with a nervously goofy grin, "Okay, you're not interested in that, but you probably can't answer this right now being a giant mutated rat, but which one are you? Dusty, Randy or Braden?"

The animal stopped his approach and stood up, clearly stunned by the question.

The songwriter licked his lips and tried to keep calm and actually take control of the conversation, "Yeah, I know you're a person. I was just wondering which son-of-a-bitch you were. What got you so wazzed off that that you wanted to eat us or… do something with the ladies you shouldn't? What? Couldn't get a date at the Cow Wow or something?"

The creature growled, clearly angry at the discovery and the taunting. It slowly walked towards the large rock, moving the fingers of his right hand as if he was drumming them.

"You could just give up…"

He roared and dashed towards the rock, clearly intending to scale it and grab André.

André half-heartedly laughed, "I guess you're not." He turned and hopped off the rock just as the animal climbed to the top of it. He looked down expecting to see André starting up at him in fear, but what he saw was Beck kneeling and pointing a shotgun at him.

The creature's eyes opened wider, clearly recognizing the weapon and Beck's dark gaze.

The lovely and deadly dark brunette confidently stated with a feeling of being in complete control, especially since she was apparently unarmed, as she gazed upon Jade, "Now, are you going to be a good little girl and cooperate like your friend Tori over there or are you going to give me trouble?"

Jade put off her question for a moment by defiantly asking, "Why the jank are you doing this? Why did you bring us here for those things to kill us?"

The lovely older brunette smiled, somewhat pleased that Jade had somehow put the pieces together so easily. "You figured it out?"

Jade nodded and spat, "Yeah, I had a little conversation with Seth. They get to have their fun with us and you get virgin blood for some reason. Why? What do you need the blood for?"

Bissette frowned at hearing such news as it meant that something happened to Seth, not that she really cared for the teenager's well being, but the fact that Jade was able to have a conversation and not end up dead or brought to her was concerning. She pushed down that worry so she could maintain a sense of control over the situation. She turned her head slightly and laughed, "Why do you girls expect me to actually explain my plan to you? I may be centuries old, but even I've seen enough movies to know that you never tell the plan before you're done. I don't have the ego to gloat over people."

Jade's jaw slacked and eyes opened wider. "Centuries? You are a witch?"

Bissette laughed in a surprisingly sweet tone than the expected mocking tone. "I've dabbled a little in the Arts for a few things here and there that have been useful—such as what I'm doing tonight, but I wouldn't consider myself an actual witch. I'm not prideful enough to say that I'm a glorified amateur."

"But you need the virgin blood for something. What? You're going to make some sacrifice to some god or something?"

The older woman laughed, finding Jade's speculation quite humorous. "Hardly. Those things are just as petty and capricious as any person. I leave my immortality into my own hands."

Jade's mind raced at what Bissette could mean by such a thing. Was she going to cast some kind of spell with the blood to keep her immortal? She thought of the obvious connection of blood and vampires, but the legends was drinking it to stay immortal or… another legend came to mind that was connected to vampires.

The teenager spoke in a hushed voice, "You're a Blood Bather… you bath in blood—virgin blood—to stay young like Elizabeth Báthory?"

Bissette licked her lips and gently laughed, "Like Elizabeth?"

Jade's face fell as the realization of whom and what she was really seeing gripped her soul, "You are her?"

The acting teacher laughed, "I don't know how much you know about my legend—I assume quite a bit since you scream to me as being vampire obsessed—but do you think I would die from 'natural causes' inside a bricked up room?"

Jade took a step back, letting a little of her fear grip her.

Bissette contently smiled, confident that she was in control and asked, "I do have one question for you; it determines what I'm going to do to you. Are you a virgin?"

Jade narrowed her gaze and slightly pursed her lips in defiance.

The dark haired teacher rolled her eyes and gently mocked, "You're going to be that way? No matter, I have ways of finding out."

Freddie softly commanded, "Or how about you step away from her?"

Bissette froze in place at the sound of Freddie's voice and the hammer being brought back on a gun. She turned and saw Freddie pointing the .45 (minus the silencer) at her with steady hands.

The teacher slightly laughed, "We'll aren't you a surprise? I don't recognize you."

"Well, I'm not a student. I was just meeting up with a friend while I was in the state when I heard about this little retreat. One big coincidence… or maybe a little fate."

"Oh… well, that was a very unfortunate choice on your part since now you have to die."

"Actually, it's unfortunate for you."

"I don't think so. That's not going to necessarily work on me."

"After talking to Seth and piecing together what you're doing, yes it will. You may not call yourself a witch, but what you're planning to do with their blood is clearly witchcraft, so… same methods work if you're an outright witch and you're not blocking concreted iron rounds."

Bissette's smug look faded and eyes filled with slight apprehension.

A shotgun blast in the background echoed into the cave.

The teacher snorted a breath in surprise with a fearful look in her eyes, Jade sighed in fear, hoping that Beck and André had actually gotten the monster while Freddie cracked a smile. "I'm guessing that's another one of your pets down, so… it's over."

Miss Bissette glared, but soon turned into a deviously smile.

In that moment, all the instincts screamed to just shoot her before she could make a move in her apparent swing of confidence, but as he squeezed the trigger, Jade shouted, "Freddie! Behind you!"

Seth roared from behind and leapt to tackle Freddie.

Jade's warning was enough as he was already dropping to a knee and turning around to fire off a single round. It clipped Seth's shoulder as he lunged. However, his momentum wasn't slowed down in the least and tackled Freddie. The pair rolled and in the tumble, the .45 was thrown from Freddie's grip.

When the monster and hunter stopped in their rolling, Freddie was able to roll on top and fling himself off to roll back onto his feet.

The animal stood up and roared again, extending out his arms and claws out to his side as Freddie reached inside his jacket and pulled out the foot long silver colored triangle blade.

As the pair was standing off, Bissette raised her hand and a flicker of light began to form, preparing to ignite Freddie, but Jade jumped on her back and wrapped her right forearm around the front of the teacher's neck and pulled backwards.

The light extinguished from Bissette's hand as she tumbled back with the inspiring actress. Jade grabbed a hold of her own wrist and pulled her arm forward to put the blood bather into a chokehold. The teacher started rolling side to side and wildly kicked her feet out. She had a height and slight weight advantage over Jade, so after a few rolls back and forth, she was able to roll herself onto her stomach and reach back with her left hand and grab a fistful of Jade's dark locks.

Jade screamed as Bissette pulled and tried to rip her hair out from the root. She had to let go of the century olds woman and rolled to her left.

Bissette immediately jumped on Jade and mounted her over her stomach. She locked her hands around Jade's neck and began to squeeze.

Jade started wilding throwing punches at Bissette's head and clawing at the hands around her throat, but the enraged woman seemed to ignore the strikes.

Several feet away, Tori desperately tugged at her restraints while watching Freddie fight for his life and the life being squeezed out of Jade. She looked up to see how exactly she was tied to the line. She realized that her wrists were bound, but she wasn't actually tied to the rope above her head but simply over a hook. She stood on her tiptoes and stretched her arms as high as she could to lift off the hook.

Jade coughed as her airway began to constrict with Bissette's tightening grip. She dug her nails into the woman's left hand, hoping to pull it away while her left hand shot up press against Bissette's face.

The pale teenager pressed her left palm against the Blood Bather's forehead and pushed hard. Bissette began to be pushed away and in the process, Jade's hand shifted downward against the teacher's temple and her thumb brushed over the older woman's left eye. The brunette shoved her sharp thumbnail into the teacher's left eye and pushed her thumb forward as for as it would go.

Bissette screamed as the nail pierced and destroyed her eye.

Seth swung outward with his right arm, hoping to backhand Freddie, but the former tech-producer raised the blade and stabbed outward like an ice pike. The tapered tri-blade pierced the monster's wrist completely through until the hilt and Freddie planted his feet and pushed hard with both hands to keep the creature from moving his arm forward to complete the backhand.

The monster roared as not only the blade penetrated completely through his wrist, but it actually burned worst than the silver he had experienced. His anger for Freddie and animal instincts were enough to fight through the pain. He shoved forward, hoping to overtake Freddie.

Freddie stumbled back due to the height but surprisingly little superior strength difference and Seth tackled him. He straddled Freddie's hips and pressed his forearm down, hoping to crush Freddie's windpipe with his pinned forearm, but the Seattleite pressed back with his own forearm lining up with the leathery skin while he held the grip of the blade.

Seth barked and howled, trying to snap at Freddie's face. He lifted his other hand and ready to claw at Freddie's face, but the son of a hunter was able to grab the grey leathery wrist.

The monster struggled to get out of Freddie's surprisingly strong grip—rehab from broken wrist with the run-in with the taco truck worked really well—but the Seattleite was able to shift the clawed hand over the tip of the blade and yanked down.

Seth let out a howl that filled the cave as the blade pierced through the hand until it pressed against his already pierced wrist.

Seeing that he had at least Seth's hands trapped for the moment even as the skinwalker tried to bully past his forearm to crush his throat, Freddie saw lying to his right his .45 just feet away. He reached out with his right hand while struggling to push back with his forearm and left hand holding the grip with all his might. His fingertips grazed at the end of the grip several times before his finger pads finally got some friction enough to move it closer to him.

As Seth continued to snarl and struggled to either bite Freddie's face off or snap his neck, he tried pulling his left hand up from being impaled on the blade to free it for another attempt to claw.

Just as he finished pulling off in a sickening sound of flesh and muscle around the unknown form of steel, Freddie had dragged the .45 over enough for his fingers to wrap around it.

Seth finished pulling his hand away and lifted it up to bring all his strength do crush Freddie's face, but the teenager for Seattle was quicker in gripping the weapon, thumbing back the hammer then shoved the barrel against Seth's left eye and squeezed the trigger.

The consecrated iron round blazed out of the barrel and went right through Seth's eye, into his skull and out of the other side of his head, taking with it bits of brain matter and shards of skull to splatter out behind him and leaving a considerable hole in the back of his head.

Silver round or not, the .45 caliber blessed iron round fired at pointblank to the head ended Seth's life in an instant with brain matter flying out the back of his skull. Seth collapsed onto Freddie and the tech-producer shoved hard braced with his forearm and tossed the creature to his left. Freddie sat up and took several deep breaths, trying to calm his nerves.

Bissette screaming in pain and fury at the lost of her eye pulled Freddie's attention. He pulled himself onto his feet and turned his attention to Jade struggling with the teacher. He raised his weapon and using his left wrist (as he still held on to the foot long blade) as a brace for his right hand to line up his sights.

He was about to take the tricky shot as they wrestled, but a set of tied hands swung over Bissette's face and yanked back, catching the front of the teacher's throat with the rope holding Tori's wrists together. Tori pulled back with all her might to get Bissette to let go of Jade.

Bissette howled in frustration from the rear attack, but she held onto Jade's throat with all her might, determined not to let go no matter how hard Tori pulled backwards. She was either going to choke the life out of Jade or Tori was going to crush her windpipe, but she was not going to let go, so it was a race to see who would die first.

Freddie held his shot as he steadied his hand and looked for an opening for what became even a trickier shot with both girls wrestling with Bissette. The original shot he wanted to take in putting one into Bissette's chest was hard enough as he could easily hit Jade's left arm moving back and forth as she held onto the side of the teacher's face and the slightly rolled side-to-side, but it just made it all the trickier as even if he managed to put the shot into the blood bather's chest, the round could over penetrate at closeness of his range and go into Tori's chest.

However, Jade had another trick up her sleeve as she remembered the knife that Freddie had given her. It was strapped to the back of her waistband of her shorts and hidden under the hem of the oversized shirt she was wearing. She shifted her weight to her left, bringing the small of her back partially off the ground and reached behind with her right.

She grabbed the handle and pulled it from its sheath then stabbed upward, the blade sliced through Bissette's skin and muscle and slipped under her ribcage, piercing the apparent thirty-something brunette's heart.

Bissette's mouth dropped and stared into Jade's eyes with her one good eye.

Jade snarled back and twisted the blade, wanting to do as much damage to the witch's insides. She watched as the life faded from the teacher's eyes and blood starting to pouring from her wound and running down Jade's hand and she began to relax in Jade and Tori's grip.

The blood bather stopped struggling and with Tori's pulling, she collapsed backwards and brought Bissette down with her, allowing the blade to slip out of her.

Bissette jerked and spasmed as she stared up at the ceiling and after centuries of life for several seconds, her heart pumping several more times, pouring blood out of her chest before it stopped and she was done.

Jade sat up red-faced and huffed for breath as she rubbed the front of her neck with her left hand.

Freddie rushed to Jade's side and wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

Jade turned to his embrace and grabbed fistful of his shirt with her left hand to have something to grasp. She nodded her head against the side of his neck and swallowed down a few more breaths before answering in huffing breaths, "I… I'm… I'm okay… okay."

He reassuringly hugged her while Tori cried out with a frustrated voice, "A little help here?"

The pair turned their attention to Tori, feeling embarrassed they forgot about her for a moment. Freddie holstered his weapon to the small of his back and rushed to Tori's side. He helped lift her arms from around Bissette's neck and over her head. He shoved the dead witch to the side without a second thought then helped Tori sit up. He took the silver blade and began to saw into the rope around her wrists.

Once her wrists were free, she threw her arms around Freddie and gripped him like a life preserver.

Freddie wrapped his arms around her back. He kissed her cheek without thinking and reassured her, "You're okay. You're safe."

The pair held on to each other as Jade got on her knees and shuffled the mere two or three feet that separated them. She cautiously rested a hand on Tori's right shoulder.

Tori let go of Freddie and pulled Jade into just as hard of a hug.

Jade jerked in surprise, but quickly set aside the surprise and returned the hug. She sighed then quietly commented, "It's good to see you're alright too."

The rivals held onto each other for a few more seconds, each glad the other one was alright, but Tori suddenly remembered something and she shouted, "Cat!"

Jade pulled back as the brunette had shouted in her ear. "OW!"

Tori turned her attention to Cat and shouted again, "Cat!"

The brunette was the first on her feet, followed by Freddie. Jade stuck the blade into the ground then stood up, sparing a glance at her blood covered hand. She opened and closed her hand, feeling a slight tingling sensation in her hand. She just assumed it was just the adrenaline of the fight and disregarded it so she could join the others rushing towards the unconscious redhead, Tori ignoring the fact that she was still bleeding.

Tori placed her fingers against the side of Cat's neck. She sighed in relief, "She's alive."

Freddie slipped his arm under Cat's legs and around her lower back to lift her out of the plastic bin that was filled with a small pool of blood along with about a dozen squirming leaches. Tori grabbed the redhead's arm and raised them high enough to get the rope off the hook.

Freddie knelt down and cradled the redhead in his arms. Jade knelt down beside in front of them and gently tapped her cheek. She desperately begged, "Come on Cat, wake up."

Cat's eyes clenched tighter and whimpered as she was slowly roused from her sleep. "Wha… what?"

Jade lowered her head and sighed out in relief.

Tori slipped her arms around Cat and hugged her from the side, just as grateful that Cat was at least conscious.

Cat weakly grinned, happy to see her friends.

Freddie looked to Tori and Jade and spoke, "Okay, let me check on the others."

Freddie handed off the redhead to Tori then stood up and headed for Gabriella, seeing she was the one in the most obvious distress. He reached up to wrap his arm around the nude girl as he lifted his other hand to cut the rope with the large knife/short-sword. He sawed into it for a good ten seconds before it snapped and the unconscious girl started collapsing, but fortunately Freddie had a good grip around her back to catch her. She still felt warm and after a quick checking of her pulse, determined that she was still alive. He gently brought her down to cradle her then struggled to balance holding her and taking off his jacket. He managed then wrapped the jacket around her.

He gave her a cursory examination and saw that her legs had the same wounds as Tori and Cat. He looked back up at her face and noticed she was pale shade than what her ethnicity would suggest.

He looked over his shoulder back to the Tori, Jade and Cat and shouted, "Tori, how are you and Cat? Are you still bleeding?"

Tori looked to Cat's legs then her own thighs. "Yeah, we still are."

"Damn… we got to get you two to a doctor fast."

The brunette knotted her brow and questioned, "Why? I'm fine. It's just a little blood. It's not like I'm bleeding like Jade or Mark were."

"She put leeches on you, right? I saw them in the pan with Cat was standing in. This girl has the same marks and as pale as Jade, and I don't think that's her natural color. The leeches… saliva is anticoagulant. It's going be a trick to stop bleeding. We got to get you and Cat and the others to a hospital before you bleed to death."

Tori's eyes fearfully opened and swallowed down some of her fear. "Are you sure?"

"My mother's a nurse and I'm good at science?"

Jade glanced around and saw that the other girls still hanging from the ceiling had the same marks all over their legs too. She thought about Freddie's car, but there was no way they could get them all back there by themselves and they sure couldn't fit them all in his car.

Beck and André walked into the cave, each heaving for breath and some blood splatter on them, but prepared for a fight. Beck called out, "Jade! Tori!"

Jade turned from Cat then rushed to Beck and pulled him into hug.

Beck pulled her into a hug and kissed her cheek. He looked over her shoulder and saw the dead teacher and the dead student as he transformed back into a human being, half his head blown away.

André had the sense to take the shotgun from Beck to prevent an accidental firing.

Jade pulled back enough and asked, "So you got him?"

"Yeah… how's everyone?"

"Tori and Cat are bleeding and we got to get them to a doctor and all the other girls too."

Beck and André took a moment to see the other girls still hanging from the ceiling. The songsmith rushed to Alesha's side and whispered, "Alesha, Alesha, it's me."

The curly haired girl groggily moaned and tried to open her eyes, but she was clearly caught between the sleeping and waking world.

The future teenage ideal pointed out, "There's still two of them out there and even if Freddie's car is still working, we can't carry everyone in your car."

Freddie called out as he picked up Gabriella, "Then we got to find a way to call out." He glanced around and spotted Bissette's working table. He noticed various camping supplies and a laptop sitting on the surface along with a cot next to the end of the desk. He walked over to the cot and gently laid the unconscious girl down then turned to the laptop.

He examined the screen and moved his finger over the built-in mouse to look at the various windows that were opened. He grinned when he found something quite useful. A few mouse clicks later and he laughed in triumph.

"What?" André called out as he pulled Alesha off the hook.

"It's the program with map where all the cellphone jammers are located. She kept one frequency open so she could send a signal to turn them off, presumably so she'd be able to call out when she was done, and I just turned them off."

Beck reached into his shorts pocket and pulled out his phone. He glanced at the screen and saw that he still didn't have any bars. He turned the face of the phone to Freddie and remarked, "Still no bars."

Freddie pointed out with a soft smirk, "We are in a cave."

The taller teenager closed his eyes, feeling stupid for the moment. "I'll step outside."

"Let Tori call and remember, there are two still out there, if Seth was telling us the truth."

Tori raised an eyebrow and asked, "Why me?"

"To call your dad and make sure he knows how serious this is to get here with as many of his cop buddies as possible—and make it a point by telling him about you could bleed to death if he doesn't hurry."

Tori blinked then hastily nodded.

Jade slipped back down and took Cat into her arms.

"I'll cover you," André reluctantly volunteered after picked Alesha up and her feet out of the plastic bin and noticed that her leg was bleeding more than the others with what looked like teeth marks in her flesh.

Jade helped Cat stand on wobbly legs then walked her over to sit on the edge of the cot with Gabriella. The redhead couldn't remain sitting so the dark haired actress laid the girl down beside the other girl.

Freddie took Alesha from André and moved her to be propped up against the side of the cot. "Jade, I left my backpack just outside the cave; could you go get it and I can try to stop the bleeding with some of them."

"Okay."

The four headed outside and once outside the cave, Tori took Beck's phone and saw the bars come back for a signal while Jade grabbed Freddie's backpack and ran back into the cave.

Tori dialed her father's number and brought the phone to her ear.

Detective Vega answered with a curious, but anxious tone, "Hello?"

"Dad!"

"Tori?! Thank God! I've been trying to call you for the last hour. No one can get any of you on the phone. Are you alright?"

"No, no. We've been attacked by…" She looked to Beck and André for a possible reasonable explanation, but settled by saying, "…by wolves and I'm bleeding badly and some people are dead. I don't know if Trina is alive. Everyone is lost in the woods and—"

Detective Vega raised his voice and interrupted, "Slow down, slow down. I'm already on my way with a few of the other parents. Are you safe right now?"

"For right now, but I'm bleeding pretty badly. Freddie said I could bleed to death. There are still a few of those… wolves out there. They're attacking and eating people. We need the police and ambulances and everybody you can bring."

"Okay, I'll be there in about fifteen minutes with a few officers, but I'm calling for backup. Stop the bleeding anyway you can. Is anyone else with you?"

"Yeah, I'm with everyone except Trina and Robbie. We think they're somewhere around the campsite. Dad, you got to hurry and be careful. If you see one of those… those wolves, just shoot them until you run out of bullets."

"Hang tough sweetie, I'm on my way…"

Author's Note: So Jade saved the day, she was the 'final' girl. Too bad she couldn't sit on one of the animals like the cover art provided by the fantastic wowlaury. Next chapter is the last one and wraps up all the loose ends. Thanks for reading, OneHorseShay.
