Bioship
"Everyone know their positions?" Spoiler asked, mask on and ready. "Or do we need to go over it one more time?"
Lagaan spoke first. "Yeah we got it, it's a basic scouting mission, but we're getting a tag-along."
Roy got a bit annoyed by Lagaan's dismissive behavior, but opted to remain quiet. Robin was running all of the possibilities of the identity of the mysterious 'tag-along' but couldn't deduce who it could possibly be.
"Does anyone have any objections to the plan?" Spoiler
asked, unfazed by Lagaan's bitter attitude. Lagaan raised his hand to object.
"Why are you leading?" He sneered at her. Spoiler sighed and glared at him.
"I'm leading because no one else took charge, but if you want to take charge, then go ahead and lead to your hearts Content, but don't take your breaking up with your girlfriend on me because, my friend, that is not a fight you want to start." Spoiler said as they landed and she was off the bioship and she saw someone. "Our tag-along is here."
Old Gotham
Jason was anxious for this reunion. What if she hated him for leaving her, or not telling her that he was alive. He kept flashing back to that dark night in the alley way, her eyes were cloudy with fear and she kept crying about her mother's murder. He witnessed a piece of her soul die that day, and he could picture her at his funeral, dying a little more inside. He made a mental note to make sure that the new robin in the suit was treating her nice. He tensed when Spoiler saw him and made eye-contact with him. He couldn't hear her comment about the 'tag-along', but her would have laughed. He was just relieved to see her again and could see that Selina had taken good care of her.
Flashback:Jason was patrolling Gotham when he almost literally ran into Catwoman.
"Easy there, kitten What's got you in a hurry?" She asked, Surprisingly gentle. Jason was torn between telling her and not telling her. He figured he would, maybe she could understand.
"I used to take care of a kid, she's not very old, and now that I'm Robin, I want to check up on her, make sure she's ok." He mumbled, but she understood.
"I can check on the little kitten if you want." Selina said. "Gotham can be rough on little girls."
Jason let out a relieved laugh. "She wouldn't be to happy about being called a little girl, but thanks, Selina."
"Don't worry about it, I completely understand, besides, you are a true hero, taking care of her, when you're not much older."
