Lily's POV

I gave Remus the potions one at a time, every 2 hours as to not exhaust his body more in processing. Stephanie kept me updated on him and did a great job with Teddy. Tonks on the other hand, was worried sick and declined any offers to rest.

"That's the last of his medication, that last potion will out him to sleep he will wake up good as new tomorrow." I tell Tonks the good news. She thanks me and after much convincing from Sirius, James, Stephanie, and I she finally agreed to sleep with Teddy next Remus.

"Thank you so much Lily, you're amazing." James tells me gratefully I, in response, blush like an idiot. Since when did you start blushing from everything he says to you?

"It wasn't a problem, really don't mention it." I smile shyly.

"I can't believe it's 4 a.m. already." Sirius yawns.

"You know, I have an extra bedroom since you guys have nowhere to sleep, would you like to stay over tonight?" I ask and motion to the pink, glittery living room that is clearly inhabitable. James starts begins to decline politely but Sirius cuts in.

"Of course, we'd love to." He beams at us, mostly at Stephanie though. We soon collect our belongings and walk out to my house,

"Guys would you excuse me for a minute, I think I forgot my coat. You guys go ahead I'll be right there." I throw my keys to Stephanie and run back to James'. As soon as I enter, I get my wand out from my back pocket and return their living room to its former state. Once satisfied with my work, I leave and join everyone back at the house.

"Lily you kicked ass tonight." Stephanie tells me as we lay in my bed. Since I only had one spare bedroom, James and Sirius slept in one room, while Stephanie and I slept in mine.

"Thank you, you did great too. Also I saw you chatting it up with Sirius, the laughing and talking, might as well drop your pants." I joke with her, she laughs.

"Am I? Well what about you? You blush every time James glances your way." She smiles back at me.

"Nah, it wouldn't work out between us." I dismiss it.

"Why not?" She props up on one elbow, deep curiosity in her eyes.

"Because he's a pureblood and I'm…not." I explain

"Lily that's so stupid, how would you even know?" She mocks me

"Because these are the same lot that bullied Severus, the reason he turned his back on me. They bullied him because he was a half-blood; it led him to leave me." I recall at the unwelcome memories flooding back.

"That was ages ago Lils, people change, and evolve. I'm sure they're not the same, talk to them." Stephanie offers.

"I don't want to be involved with James that way, they may have changed but every time I look at him I see Severus. I can't deal with Steph, not anymore." She looks at me with so much concern, but smiles and nods nonetheless. Our discussion ended there, and we both went to sleep. I, unlike Stephanie, fell into an uneasy sleep and awoke at seven.

I check my phone as I brush my teeth; I find texts from George;

- (12:37) George: I couldn't see you tonight, how are you?

- (12:42) George: When can we meet up? Haven't seen you in a while. J

- (12:53) George: Wanna catch some breakfast tomorrow?

It's true, George and I have different timetables now, I barely see him anymore. I text him, telling him to come over and breakfast with Stephanie and I today. He texts back saying he'll be over at nine. I check the time it's 7:23, I have plenty of time. I get dressed in a deep purple blouse, black skinny jeans, I wear a thick black jacket and black high healed ankle boots. I decide to braid my hair into a loose messy side braid.

I descend the stairs as quiet as possible, to not wake anyone up and find James downstairs staring at the window. He's still dressed in him clothes from last night, although his hair is sexier messier. What the hell Lily?

I cough slightly "Good morning" I say not too loud, he turns his head and smiles when he sees me. That's actually a nice thing to wake up to…smiles I mean. Not him.

"Oh hi, Lily" he clears his throat after looking at me for moment "Are you going somewhere? Sorry you don't need to answer that, none of my business." He stutters.

"Oh it's fine, I'm going to check on Mr Lupin, then I want to go get some groceries." I tell him and grab my coat from the closet, "You can come check on Mr Lupin with me, if you want, I wouldn't be comfortable to be in your house without you." I explain rather quickly,

"Because you've never been in my house without me, yeah?" he smirks, and I could feel the heat in my cheeks. "But, yes, I want to check on Remus." Him being already dressed only puts his jacket on and follows me out.
