Disclaimer: I own the plot still. : )

"Is she going to be alright Mr. Alfred?"

"She should be, but I've never dealt with a magic coma before."

Rocks falling from overhead. A small contact from Robin saying he found Beast Boy.

"How long do you think it will last?"

"I'm not sure Master Dick."

She was running through the tunnels towards Slade's personal quarters. She had only been there one other time.

"How's Beast Boy doing?"

She had to run through a lab to get there. On one of the tables, a clearly labelled vial sat holding a green liquid. The label on it read 'Worm DNA'. Maybe that was the stuff they had given Beast Boy.

"He's another thing entirely. Without the DNA Raven was able to recover I don't know how long it would have taken me sir."

"You did your best Alfred, that's all we can ask."

"Thank you Master Bruce."

"Will he be able to turn into his other forms again?

"We'll just have to give him time Cyborg. That's if he wakes up as well."

Raven could hear the conversation around her, but she was still stuck inside her mind, watching everything that had happened after she murdered Terra, in slow motion.

She knew that there had been a lot of corridors that she had run through. The final one led into a laboratory filled with different colored liquids in different shaped vials. One in particular held a green liquid and had a tag with really bad handwriting.

"WORM DNA"

Could it possibly be the same stuff that Beast Boy had been injected with?

Raven couldn't take the chance that it wasn't and quickly grabbed the small vial off the table and hid it in the folds of her cloak in one of her many pockets.

She continued on down the rows of tables, finally coming out on the other side of the lab and facing her final corridor. Slade's room was the door directly in front of her at the very end. Raven made her way briskly towards it, her cloak skimming the ground over which she glided.

Reaching the door, she pushed on it with her mind to cause it to swing open and was blinded for a moment.

"Miss Raven, Can you hear me? Are you able to understand what I'm saying?"

"Her eyes dilated a little Alfred, maybe as we get closer to Midnight…"

Slade's room was huge by comparison to the cell she had been in. His large King sized bed was up against the wall closest to the door between the living quarters she had already passed through and his personal bath, making for easy access once Slade had finished all of his daily tasks.

She felt no remorse as she moved passed it towards the room in the back. Raven had to listen to Terra go on about his private bath that held a personal waterfall that he had made Terra find. Just another reason that Raven knew Terra was expendable to Slade.

She had crept up to the door and could hear the splashing of water hitting water from the fall but couldn't be sure if Slade was in there. Did she charge in recklessly and hope to catch him unaware, or should she think rationally and figure out a way to do this that would give her the upper hand?

Raven had just started to reach out with her mind when the door was suddenly thrown open from within and she was grabbed roughly, jostled in the process of Slade dragging her into the water.

"Did you see her shake? We need to wake her up now."

"We've been doing all we can Master Dick, What more do you expect? I am not equip to handle magically induced comas."

"How do we know that friend Raven wasn't injected with something to keep her this way?"

Raven had felt the needle hit her skin and a liquid gush through her veins before she could try to wiggle out of Slade's grasp.

"What did you…?"

"It's a poison. One that will make sure that even if you do manage to screw this up for me, you will never be with your green boy again."

"His name is Beast Boy."

She felt the rage build up immediately and let it be free, falling into the red darkness that was her evil side.

Raven came to, covered in blood, and on top of Slade's bed. She was sore in between her legs and there was a still body underneath the sheets next to her. It was there that all of the blood seemed to seep from.

It took all of her courage to pull back the top of the sheet, knowing deep down what was underneath. As it slid away from where a head should have been, instead a mutilated and decapitated body was there.

She stumbled from the bed, pulling the sheet with her, and witnessed what was left of Slade's body before she blacked out.

"Why did you go back after you rescued B?"

"I tried contacting her, but it was as if she was no longer in existence. Normally I feel a wall or something when we communicated in there, but this time, it was just creepy."

Robin shuddered as he remembered the feeling of emptiness, he just wasn't able to describe it in a way that Cyborg would understand.

"It's a good thing you did Master Dick."

It was already close to midnight on October 30th and both Raven and Beast Boy had been in a sleeplike state for over a month. The only real sign of change was that Raven's magic seemed to pulse out of her at random intervals causing her hands to glow from red to her normal black.

At 11:55 PM her body left off a magic flare, creating a black and red swirling orb around her body. Thankfully enough, Raven was in the Bat Cave allowing everyone to keep a safe distance from the strangeness that was emitting off of her.

In the manor though, Beast Boy was hooked up to a series of machines recording his heart rate and brain activity. Alfred had already found a way to revert him back to his normal form, but as soon as it was administered, the green teen reverted into his dog form and refused to wake. It was almost as if he refused to wake until Raven did, but when her magic lashed out, his heart rate dropped.

As midnight hit for the start of Halloween, Raven's magic flared from her body completely, causing a massive pulse of energy to surge outward before breaking off chunks of the walls and ceiling. As it died down, her violet eyes suddenly opened and stared up at the cave ceiling.

"Where is he?"

Her voice was deep and raspy from unused for so long.

A red light went off on one of the screens as Starfire quickly stifled her hands over her face.

"What is it, what's wrong? Raven rasped out.

"It's Beast Boy….He's…"

"He flat lined." Robin finished for her.

(AN: Dun Dun DUNNNNNNNN! Be back at Thanksgiving guys. :) As you noticed the - were crossovers between flashbacks since my computer was unable to handle all of the straight lines I was doing to connect everything.)
