Short chapter to bridge the end of the S-Class Exams and Team Lucky Star first S-Class mission.
Chapter 13
Lucy woke up early the next day to get ready for the sleep over they were going to have at her place. She took a quick shower and got dress, when she went into the kitchen to make breakfast she heard a knock on the door. She quickly opened it and saw Romeo, Wendy, and Carla with their arms full of bags, Lucy invited them in and they rush to put the bags on the table. "So what are you guys here so early with..." Lucy looked into the bags "lots of food?" Lucy asked. "We're here to help you set up and the food is to cook for everyone, we are a team after all." Romeo answered grinning. Lucy just a small laugh and walked back into the kitchen "So do you guys want breakfast?" "Yes please!" the three of them said at once.
Lucy made them all chocolate chip pancakes and they quickly started eating and Romeo, Wendy, and Carla felt like they were in heaven once they took a bite of the pancakes. "Lucy can I live here now?" Romeo asked which Lucy just laugh at "Only if you have no where else to live, but you can come by anytime and I'll gladly made you some pancakes." Lucy said making Romeo face brighten.
After they finished eating they move stuff around in the living room for everyone and after they finish they went into the kitchen and started making food for everyone. After a few hours they were done and had tons of food for everyone and made sure to have cake for Erza. They decided to go out for lunch and went to a small cafe down the road from Lucy's place. They spend an hour there since they were in no rush. When they got back the first thing they notice was that Mavis was their drooling over all the food that they made. "Hey Mavis." Lucy said making her snap out of her food trance and turn toward them. "Hello." Mavis said and sat down on the couch waiting for things to get started.
An hour later Erza showed up ready for an sleep over also giving Lucy a communication lacrima since all S-Class mages needed them, followed by Cana. Lucy had to hid the cakes after Erza tried to eat one before everyone showed up. Lucky for Erza everyone else showed up quickly and they could get started and she could get her cake. Mira had Master edit the recording so they get all the good stuff and nothing boring.
When the got to the rune barrier everyone was watching closely to see what happen, Lucy and Mira cheered when Levy and Gajeel kissed, Mira eyes turned to hearts when she found out who Lisanna crush was and everyone laughed at the other things everyone else had to do. After a few hours they were near the end and everyone had tears in their eyes from laughing so much. When they got to where Lucy unlocks her Cosmic Mode Cana falls out of her chair in shock and she remain in shock and in awe as she watch Lucy and Natsu fight. When it ended "Ok Lucy spill it. What exactly was that you did?" Cana asked. "That was my new Cosmic Mode that I unlock thanks to Romeo and Wendy here." Lucy answered. After that all of them decided to get some sleep.
It's been about two weeks since the sleep over and Lucy, Romeo, and Wendy have been training hard during those two weeks with the help of Mavis. After the first week Lucy could control her Cosmic Mode and can activate it in a second. To help training Mavis started a game of tag with them, but it's a bit different since they could use magic to tag each other and they had to increase the weight of training gear more often. They also had to set some runs, first is that they game is put on hold when they go on missions, second is that magic can only be used if no one outside of the game can get hurt, third you cannot tag anyone while they are sleeping, eating, taking a bath/shower, or in the bathroom, fourth you cannot tag anyone during normal training including meditation and last no outside help.
Since the game started the game they notice that they were faster, lighter on their feet, can sense others magic better (Wendy senses as well), and can hide their magic better. Mavis also got the habit of playing tricks on Lucy and Romeo, she doesn't go after Wendy, and Lucy and Romeo play tricks on her as well to get back at her.
Right now at the guild everyone is enjoying themselves, the only ones that aren't there are Natsu, Happy, and Lucy. Natsu and Happy then burst through the doors and ran around all the table and grab all silverware off of them and hid them somewhere. "Natsu what are you doing?" Mira asked both curious and annoyed. "Hiding everything that Lucy can use as a weapon." Natsu replied in a panic tone making sure he didn't miss anything. "She has swords Natsu." Mira stated. "Not right now since she has a friend checking them to see if they are in good condition with Romeo's and Wendy's as well since they are planning on going on a S-Class mission soon." Natsu answered and both Romeo and Wendy who were sitting at a both nodded to confirm that.
Erza now curious got up and walked over to Natsu "Natsu what happen that made you hide all possible weapons from Lucy?" Erza asked in a deadly calm tone. "Well when I stop by her place this morning..." he was cut off by the guild doors flying off their hinges and implanting themselves in the wall of the opposite side and Natsu dived behind the bar counter. Everyone looked and saw Lucy standing there with her arm out like she just open the door, she walked over to the bar looking calm, but the demonic aura around her grew with every step and everyone quickly moved away. "Erza, Mira, have you guys seen Natsu around?" Lucy asked calmly. Both of them nodded and Erza pointed behind the counter "Sorry Lucy we haven't." Mira said tricking Natsu into thinking he was a safe. "Well I'll look elsewhere thanks anyway." Lucy said looking around and saw a wooden rice spoon on the counter (you may ask why, but do you really care).
Lucy grab it the rice spoon and within a second was by where Natsu was hiding, she then jump over the counter and landed in front of Natsu looking at him with a deadly glare. Natsu screamed and ran away, but tripped. "Natsu remember when I revealed my secret to everyone, I believe I said that I could make a spoon cut someone if I wanted to. Well let me show you that I can." Lucy said grabbing Natsu by the collar who was now shaking in fear.
"WHAT IS GOING ON OUT HERE?" Master shouted coming out of his office to see what all the noise was about. Everyone turned toward him beside Lucy who was focus on Natsu, and Natsu was thanking Mavis that he was saved. "So will someone explain?" Master asked. Erza turned to Happy "Happy please explain what Natsu did." Happy nodded. "Well Natsu wanted to show Lucy a new trick he learn so we went to her place. When we got there Lucy said to wait till after she took a quick shower so we did, but Natsu wanted to practice it really fast and he lost control starting a small fire. We put it out quickly, but the fire ended up destroying most of Lucy's letters to her mom." Happy explained and after he finish everyone knew that Natsu was a died man.
Master jump down and walked toward the door "Alright then, I'll be leaving now. See you brats later." Master said and left leaving Natsu shock and hopeless. He quickly turned to where Romeo, Wendy, Mavis, and Carla were "Help please" Natsu almost beg. They all got up and went toward the door as well "We would love to Natsu, really, but we going to the beach today so we got to go." Romeo said. "Bye Lucy see you at the beach later." Wendy added. Lucy turned her head toward them looking bright and cheerful "Already have fun you guys. I'll catch up later." Lucy said and turning back to Natsu while they left giving him a death glare. Natsu turned to Erza, "Sorry Natsu, but a day at the beach sounds like fun." Erza said and everyone in the guild agreed and left, Erza before she left turned to Lucy "Lucy downstairs three door to the left is a empty storage room." Erza said making Natsu pale. "Thanks Erza." Lucy said dragging Natsu downstairs.
Everyone was at the beach near the guild having fun and trying to not think about what Lucy was doing to Natsu. A few hours later Lucy join them at the beach looking like nothing was wrong. "So Lucy where Natsu?" Mira asked. "Oh, Natsu not feeling that well so he went home, it seems back so I won't expect him around for a week or two and even then he won't be one hundred percent for awhile after that." Lucy answered making everyone shiver in fear.
They all spent the rest of the day at the beach having fun, Lucy, Romeo, Wendy, and Mavis mostly were planning tag and right now Mavis was it. It was starting to get dark so they all decided to go home and get some sleep.
The next day Lucy got hers, Romeo, and Wendy weapons from her friend and went to the guild. She went over to where the rest of her team was and gave Romeo and Wendy their swords. "Alright I'm going to get us a S-Class mission for us." Lucy inform them and went to the second floor. She looked over all the request to find a reward that could be divided four ways since Carla and Wendy share, and Mavis is a ghost. She then saw one for 4,000,000 jewels and looked it over Help needed to defeat a small but very powerful dark guild called The Elements. The dark guild has five members each at the S-Class level. Each member can use one element, the elements are Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, and Lightning. Contact the client for more information. Lucy grab the mission and went back to her team, "Lets go on this one." Lucy said. The others looked it over "Sure looks like fun!" Romeo said.
Lucy then went over to Erza who was eating a slice of cake, "Hey Erza I found a mission for us to go on." Lucy said handing the request paper to her. Erza looked it over and nodded approving "So when do we leave?" Erza asked. "We'll leave tomorrow morning, I'm going to get Mira to approve it real fast." Lucy answered and Erza smiled and nodded and Lucy went over to Mira who approved it in a second knowing Erza is going so they will be fine.
