Morning...
Shimura Tae was walking through the streets of Kabuki Chou, doing the usual things that she would do. But, known to her, there is a gorilla stalker following wherever she goes. She never likes this man and yet he continued to follow her. She wondered how many times she had rejected him in the past.
I just wanted to have a normal life. And yet... The brownhead took a peek behind her and noticed that he was hiding behind somewhere that she would notice him. Otae let out a small sigh and continued to walk. I'm not use to this goddamn gorilla stalking me already single day! It's annoying as hell!
Something or rather, someone, ran past her. She turned around and saw a woman, wearing the Shinsengumi uniform, kicking Kondou on the face. He fell backwards with a thud while she landed an inch away from him. Otae had never seen a comrade of the gorilla to be like this. The woman stood up and spat on him. She noticed the brownhead was staring at her and walked over to her.
"I hope that stupid commander of mine didn't do anything to you." She said as she came closer. "Are you alright?"
Otae let out a small giggle which caused the woman to fidget. She looked at her with a smile. "I'm fine." She brought her hand forward. "I'm Shimura Tae."
They both shook hands. "I'm Fujisaka Kumi."

Later...
"Aneue, where are you?"Shinpachi peeked into her room. "That's strange..."He began walking towards the living room. If I remember correctly, she out buying some groceries but what's taking her so long?
"Shin-chan! I'm home!"
"Okaeri!" He walked out to greet her and noticed something that he shouldn't see. W... W... Why is she here?! The megane managed to say a word. "K... Ku... Kumi-san?!"
The raven gave him a sadistic smile. Otae was surprised to see that her little brother had met this officer before she did. "Shin-chan. When did you meet Kumi-san?"
Shinpachi took a step back. "It... it... was..."
Kumi interrupted him before he can finish his sentence. "It was that time when he was doing a job with those two other idiots."
"Eh?"The brownhead turned to her. "Really? With Gin-san and Kagura-chan?"
"Yes." The raven let out a small chuckle. "They were trying to get..." The megane quickly covered her mouth with a hand. Otae looked at him in surprise.
"Shin-chan? What are you doing?"
"It's... nothing! I'm going to Gin-san's place!" He left them both as he ran to get his sandals. "Later!"
Kumi looked at the brownhead and they both sighed.
"Boys..."

Later...
Hijikata walked through the streets of Kabuki Chou, searching for someone in particular. In his mind, he knew what he was going to do when he finally finds her.
That bookworm... The mayora moved his head from side to side. The people that were walking near immediately became scared and moved away. Slacking off. I'll show her! He noticed the coat of the uniform that they always. Hijikata quickly ran towards it and found her with some girl. They both seem to be in high spirts. They look so happy...
Kumi turned around and saw him, looking awkwardly at a sweets shop. "Hijikata? Why are you doing here?"
He scratched his head, loss for words. "Well... You're sl-." His sentence was cut off by the girl that the raven is with.
"You're with that gorilla, aren't you?" She crossed and let out an hmph. "Tell him that I will never be her girlfriend and that we will never, ever, ever marry each other."
"OIIII! WHY DID YOU BUTT IN?!" He turned to Kumi again. "As I was saying-."
She interrupted him once more. "When are you going to say it to him?"
"WHY ARE YOU BUTTING IN AGAIN?!" He turned back to his childhood friend. "You're..."
"Can you go now?"
"WHY ARE YOU BUTTING IN WHEN I'M TRYING TO SAY SOMETHING?!" The mayora glared at her. "Can you not speak when I'm trying to say something."
The girl gave him a smile. "Oh? Are you my boss?"She glared at him. "If I remember correctly, you were never my boss."
"DOES THAT EVEN MATTER? YOU BETTER NOT-." His sentence was cut short as Kumi punched him hard in the stomach. Hijikata collapsed onto the floor as she dragged the girl away.
The raven called out to him. "Can you not butt in when I'm talking to someone that I have never met before?! Sheesh!"She left him to the crowd of spectating citizens.
Why did you even butt in at the last second?! Ahh, it hurts...

"Kumi-san, are you friends with the Vice Chief?"
She picked up another dango stick. "Hmm? Yeah. We met when we were little." She looked wistfully to the sky. "He was cute back then..."
"Eh? Really?" Otae began to giggle. "Back then, Shin-chan use to be a scaredy cat before turning into what he is now. A tsukkomi loving character."
"You know, Hijikata developed into a mayo loving character. I mean, he puts mayo on everything he eats." The raven covered her mouth with a hand. "Talking about it makes me want to throw up..."
The brownhead began to ponder for it bit. "You know, I think I heard this rumor that it will lead you to One Piece."
"Otae-san, eating mayo with everything does not lead you to One Piece."
"Eh? It doesn't?"
"Of course it doesn't! I would be traveling around the Seven Seas to look for it!"
"Then, I must have been mistaken." The brownhead glanced at the clock. "It's nearly time for lunch! Kumi-san, do you want some tamagoyaki?"
"Tamagoyaki? Is it good?"Otae placed a bento on her lap. The raven lifted up the lid and found a black mass that cannot be considered to be food. "Nanikore?"
"Tamagoyaki." She picked a spoonful and it went towards Kumi's mouth. "Say ahh..."
She ducked away in time before it went into her mouth. "I guess I'll treat you to lunch for today."

Nearing the night...
"Hijikata-sann, when is Kumi-san coming back?"
"The hell do I know?!" He went back to the reports. "She probably..." The sounds of footsteps caused him to stop talking. Kumi came into the room with a happy look on her face.
"I'm back!"She went to her own room to check on the two kids. The mayora and Sougo exchanged looks and sighed. He went back to the reports while the Sadist began to sleep.
She looks happier after meeting that girl. His hand went to his still, sore stomach and rubbed it. It still hurts. Her punches are still vicious as ever. The mayora let out a small sigh. Was she thinking about Mitsuba when talking to that girl? Well, I'm glad she happy...
