At Paris...
Third Person's P.O.V:
"I'm sick and tired of this! BRING THEM BACK TO ME!" Hwakmoth screamed in his head, making him groan as he grabbed the sides of his face in pain. Everytime he said something to him, he felt like he was going to die out of the pain in his head.
The purple outline of the butterfly formed around his face as he said:"I told you for like a thousand times! I DON'T know! Now let me go! Please!"
Hawkmoth growled and clenched his hands in fists, gritting his teeth. "I will not! Not until you bring them back! I demand my miraculouses!"
Bubbler sighed and slammed his forehead against the trunk of a nearby tree.
He just decided not to answer him and ignore him. It didn't make any diffrence if he pleaded him to let him go anyway. However, he sincerely wished he could get out of the ridiculous costume as soon as possible.
Hawkmoth kept yelling things in his mind, but he did nothing but clench his hands in fists again, so hard that he was almso sure his nails dug into his flesh.
After a while, he suddenly felt him stop and suddenly, the mask wasn't there anymore. He scattered on the ground immediately, breathing sort of out of place. He blinked his eyes as the dizziness faded away.
He stood up after a minute or two and groaned, every muscle of his body aching. He jumped to a roof and started running over them, heading for the house of a certain somebody.
Tap Tap Tap
Alya's head instantly turned towards the direction of the noise and she looked at the window sleepliy, only to see Bubbler smiling weakly at her, his dark coloured eyes filled with something that definitly wasn't considered evil.
She frowned and walked towards her window. She looked around the room to see if anyone was there. Sometimes her little sisters would hide under her bed sheet to spy on her.
Luckily, no one was there. She looked at the door and it was closed, but not locked. She walked to the door and turned the key to the right. A click sound could be heard and then, she ran towards her window.
She yawned and rubbed her eyes, trying to make the tireness go away. She was in her light orange pyjamas, ready to go to sleep. At least that was it before he knocked on her window.
She opened the window and before she could say something, he jumped inside. She looked at him with worry. He didn't look like he was in a very good condition.
"Listen, Nino, I...About what happened a few days ago by the rive-"
"Take it."
He interrupted, looking at her with an expression that she couldn't say what it was.
"Huh? Wha-"
"Take it."
He held his hand out and she looked down at it!eyes widening when she saw the colourful bubble wand he was holding all the time when he was akumatized.
"Do you...Do you want me to break it and get the akuma?!" "Yes!"
She put a hand on his shoulder, getting annoyed. "But-But...Ladybug's not here! She's gone and so is Chat noir! Which means there's no one to purify the akuma! How are we going to do that?" She said in one breath, leaning close to his face, eyes locking with his as she looked at him in anger.
He didn't say anything. Just gulped and leaned back a little. She's right. I didn't think about that...
Suddenly she gasped and said:"What if it multiplies?"
He sighed and looked down, cursing under his breath as he took a step forward to get even more closer to her than he already was. She looked up at him and waited for him to say something. However, his gaze wasn't meeting hers. Damn the shortness Alya! Well...Maybe I'm not short. He's too tall I guess...
The touch of his gloved hands made her snap out of her thoughts as he got her hands in his, giving them a gentle squeeze. Tears formed in his purple eyes and her hearbeat got faster.
"Please Alya."
"..."
"I can't take this anymore."
There was silence again as a response, but in the end, she sighed, her hands letting go of his as she rubbed her temples, thinking about what the consequesnces could be.
"Fine."
Before he could say something, his wand was in her hands as she brought her knee up as she used her arms, snapping the object in half after using her knee to break it.
The purple butterfly flew out. His costume quickly faded away as his normal outfit gave it's place to it. She looked at him as he changed back to normal, but had to cover her arms with her arms for a split second because of the amount of purple light that was suddenly there.
When she removed her hands from her face, he was there. Nino. Not Bubbler anymore. Her sweet and dorky classmate that she missed more than everyone since the start of this bubbly mess , was now standing infront of her, safe and sound.p
He smiled at her, his lips curling up into a goofy smile she would never get tired of seeing. A tear rolled down his cheek. The pain was finally gone. Hawkmoth was screaming at him when Alya was about to break the wand. However, he had somehow managed to deal with it.
"Nino!" She cried out before throwing herself in his arms, wrapping her arms around his waist as his cheeks went red at the contact.
He gulped and awkwardly put his arms around her smaller figure, pressing her body against his even more. "You have no idea how much I missed you..." she mumbled, voice slightly muffled by his shirt.
He smiled and said:"Me too." He moved his hands on her back in circles in a comforting manner as she kept holding onto him tight. After a minute or so, she pulled away and sniffled, nose red and eyes a little puffy. That was when he realized why his shirt was damp.
She looked up at him and smiled. He smiled back, cupping her face tenderly as his finger trailed along her cheek.
The moonlight coming through the open window was making her eyes glitter as they looked into his. Haha...how romantic.
He opened his mouth to say something, but closed it, his eyes fixing on her face again. His gaze darted towards her lips and back into her eyes as a dark blush tinted his cheeks.
His hands tightened around her waist and hers moved from his waist to his shoulders slowly, the touch of her fingers agsinst his body making a shiver run down his spine.
He leaned down to her face as everything faded away, in that moment, the only person that mattered was the person in front of him.
She stood on her tip toes and just when they were about to close the gap between them, her eyes caught the sight of the purple akuma as it started to fly away.
"THE AKUMA!" Nino's eyes widened at her sudden and he backed away, hitting the wall. A picture or two fell down on the floor but luckily, those which were framed didn't break. The romantic moment got ruined and he groaned. Damn it. I had the best chance...Hehe...
Alya was standing infront of the window, hands flying up to her hair and grabbing the strands in a tight grip as she pulled on her hair, cheeks flaming. "We've got to get it! Close the window!"
He was frozen, deep in thought. So deep that he didn't undersrand what she said.
"MOVE!" She shouted and he let out a yelp out of shock and looked around.
"Wha- Oh. Oh...Oh!"
He quickly closed the window before the butterfly could go away. The butterfly slammed onto the glass and then flew back, circling around itself as Alya picked up the glass of water on her desk, ran towards her window and splashed the water out.
The akuma flew towards her desk and she took the chance, putting the glass on it upside down so it didn't get away. Phew...That was a close ca-
"HEY YOU!"
A male sound yelled and she stopped dead in her tracks, facing Nino with a what the hell is going on look.
He shrugged and looked down from the window. He suddenly gasped and then snickered, covering his mouth with his hands. There stood a man, maybe 50 years old who didn't have even one string of hair on his head. His whole face and the upper part of his shirt was covered in water as he glared daggers at them, making her gulp.
"Look what you did! You poured down water on a bald man!" He whispered before leaning towards the window. "Sorry sir!"
He sighed and looked back at her. When his eyes met hers once again, he grinned awkwardly from ear to ear as he turned away, not being able to face her with that blushing face of his.
He looked at the floor and saw the fallen pictures and papers that once were hung up on the walls. A flower pot was also on the ground. Not broken, but soil was everywhere.
"I'm sorry." He said and smacked himself on the forehead. "It's okay. Let's clean this up."
After putting everything back in it's place and cleaning up the soil, Nino leaned down and picked up a small piece of paper and frowned as his eyes scanned it. He put it on the wall. There was a nail on the wall, so he only had to put the picture on the wall by the string connected to it.
"What is this?"
Alya looked at the drawing and pursed her lips. "That? Oh. My sisters drew that. From Lady...bug and C-Chat...n-noir..." her voice trailed off suddenly, eyes getting wide. Oh my god. What have we done?!
"Nino! You aren't akumatized anymore! B-But that means...i-if Ladybug somehow used her powers to fix the d-damage, then her and Chat noir would... be in the air without anything around them...Oh no." She said and sighed.
Nino groaned and sat down on her bed, grabbing his head in between his hands. This is all my fault...
"...And in case you haven't heard, Adrien and Marinette have both gone missing since the day you got akumatized. But...if Ladybug uses her powers, then they won't be able to do anything! They'll crash to the ground in the end!" Alya continued, making his head snap up as he took it in. It took a second or two for him to realize what that meant.
"M-Marinette and Adrien?!"
He burried his face in his hands once again, heart beating madly against his ribcage in pure worry for his friends. Alya sighed and scooted closer to him, putting an arm around his shoulder.
"If I hadn't been mad at Mr. Agreste for not letting me celebrate Adrien a proper birthday party in the first place, none of this would have happened. This is all my fault."
"No it's not. It could have been anybody, you know. They're all going to come back. I know it."
She smiled at him and then hugged him tightly, and he hugged her back. After a minute, she pulled back a little and leaned forward, kissing his cheek and leaning back again. He went red for a split second, but then a smirk found it's way on his lips. Then, she dove back for another hug.
The butterfly wasn't feeling dizzy anymore. Instead, it was looking at the two with intrest from the glass. What is that thing humans say...Love?
The butterfly got more closer to the point it was pressed to the glass, just to see better. If it is love, then it's so cute! I love Hawkmoth too! They are also cute. I ship them.(Sorry I'm so weird.)
It kept watching them with the help of the dim light that was feeling her room. It wasn't from a light or something. It was from the moon.
Little did they know that the people they were talking about were somewhere out there right now.
In the Bubble...
Blue light and sparkles covered her body as Tikki got sucked into her earings. Chat' s jaw dropped after her transformation was over. She looked gorgeous. Or that's whst he thought.
"Wow! That's so cool!" Chat noir said and smiled at her weakly, pointing a trembling claw at her after she transformed.
He was really having some serious trouble with breathing. He felt more nauseous and dizzy second by second. However, her blue suit and generally, how she looked like, was making him not pay attention to that. She looks so beautiful...He thought again.
Ladybug looked down at her suit and frowned. "You think so? I find it weird." Her eyed scanned her own body, finding the colour blue a little weird on herself. She was used to having a red spandex suit on her body. Not a light blue one.
He looked at her in shock. She looked so beautiful. Of course, red suited her more than any other colour, but this light shade of blue on her costume was bringing out her eyes. Her hair was still in it's usuall pigtails, but there was a big diffrence in her hair ties.
They were long. Very long compared to the ones before. They reached to her waist, curling up slightly in the tips. Her yoyo was blue. Her mask was blue as well, but there was a light blue star in the middle of the black dot on her mask. Blue sparkles were surrounding her figure, making her glow.
She looked at him and a pink tint covered his cheeks despite the pale colour of the other parts of his face. His hand went to his neck to scratch it there awkwardly as he tried to choke out a few words. "Y-You look...Beautiful."
Her cheeks warmed up and she shyly said:"Th-Thank you." She awkwardly searched for her yoyo, and found it on her hip, where it always was. That was when her eyes suddenly caught the sight of a blue...wand?
"What the hell is this?" She mumbled as she brought the wand to her eye level, inspecting it carefully. She twirled it around and Chat noir snickered. "What on earth is that?" He asked.
His eyes suddenly widened for a second before going back to normal when he realized what he said. Did I say a pun?
He put a hand on his mouth and started laughing, voice slightly muffled. Ladybug glared at him and instead focused on the wand. Her fingers played with the ribbons as she rose an eyebrow. How can this possibly be helpful? Tikki must have a good reason for giving me this power.
She scoffed. What the heck Tikki...This looks like a five year old's toy! I don't-Huh? Ladyluna?"
Her eyes caught the sight of a few letters curved on the wand in a beautiful way. However, the word 'Ladyluna' made her slightly confused.
She looked up at him. He was having one of his hands on his neck, and the other one was clutching his chest. Just as she was about to tell Chat about it, his sharp eyes spotted the words and he asked:"What is that? Ladylu What?"
She pursed her lips and frowned. His voice... It sounded so weak and faint. Maybe it's because he just laughed his butt off. With the lack of oxygen in here, laughing is not the best choice.
She narrowed her eyes as she thought: Hey, I haven't been having too much trouble with air since I transformed again...Why's that?
"Chat noir, are you okay?" She asked, placing a hand on his shoulder. He removed his hand from his neck and said:"Y-Yeah...I'm fine. Anyway, why do you think that 'Ladyluna' thing mea-"
"Chat noir." She caught him off. She grabbed onto his head, hands on either sides of his face as she looked at him directly in the eyes.
He sighed and said:"Well, It's a little hard to breathe, but I can manage. I'm fine for now." She nodded worriedly and said:"Okay. Well, I think Ladyluna is what I'm called when I'm using the stone of the...Wait! What happened to the necklace?!" She asked, hands searching the area around her neck for the blue necklace.
"Maybe it got sucked into your miraculous with your kwami...?" He said, shrugging his shoulders. She huffed and looked at the black dots on the wand. She dragged her fingers across the dots and mumbled:"What are these for?"
Suddenly, several bubbles started coming out of the wand.
Yeah, Bubbles.
Her eyes widened, and he looked at the bubbles as they floated infront of his face in disgust. He facepalmed himself and said:"Not bubbles! Why do your powers have to be related to bubbles?!"
She giggled and said:"Maybe they are...full of oxygen or something? They got to be for some use anyway."
He groaned and exclaimed:"But why bubbles? I hate bubbles because of what is happening to us..." He lifted his hand up and pressed his claw against the bubble, but it didn't burst.
He growled at it and cupped it in his hands, squeezing it tightly. It still didn't burst.
"Wow. This is so cool. I've never seen a bubble that doesn't burst when you touch it." She hit him in the back of his head and smirked to herself. "Stupid cat."
She continued:"I think the bubbles burst...whenever I want them to." He rose an eyebrow which was barely seen because of the mask.
"Seriously? You mean you controll bubbles with your mind now?"
She chuckled. "Maybe."
Then, she thought about it in her head. Maybe Chat is right. What if I can? To her surprize, the bubbles popped.
His jaw dropped and he said:"Did...Did you do that? Does that mean you can make them burst or get big or small? Can...can you make bigger bubbles too?"
She shrugged carelessly. She didn't seem very amazed by the new superpowers she had.
"There's only one way to find out." She whispered and then pointed her wand to somewhere far from the bubble and pressed her finger on that dot again. The dots looked like they were each one special button that did something diffrent from the other.
Somewhere in the middle of the space, a giant bubble formed and he gasped softly at the sight of it. However, neither of them knew what does bubbles were for.
She said:"Now I'm gonna think about making it small, and then bursting it." She closed her eyes and thought about it. She opened one of her eyes as she took a glance at the sight. "It worked. It got small, and then burst. Just like you had thought about it."
Then, he snickered and said:"You should probably try doing it without closing your eyes." She rose an eyebrow at him and said:"Why's that?" He smirked at her evily and she frowned.
"We might have to use them to fight someone. What if there are aliens down there at the moon?"
She scoffed and said:"Aleins? Are you kidding me?"
Chat noir could swear Plagg would be laughing his butt off if he was here. He would probably say something to make him embarressed.
...Too much anime, Agreste.
He rolled her eyes at her playfully and said:"Whatever. How about trying to figure out what your other powers are...?" She nodded and he sighed. He felt like his head was about to explode. His hands felt cold and clammy under his suit. His whole body was.
He blinked his eyes again to avoid dizziness while she struggled with the other buttons. She suddenly started shaking the wand back and forward. "I wonder what this does..."
Suddenly, a blue wave of sparkles was shot out of the tip of the wand and hit Chat noir -who was standing right infront of her- directly in the chest. He fell on his back and started coughing, breathing slightly ragged as he held onto his chest, lungs burning even more.
Shoot, I already had trouble in breathing. Knowing how much of a good luck I have, her magical glitter had to hit me.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry Chat! I didn't know that would happen!" She kneeled down next to him quickly and mentaly slapped herself. You're such a fool, Marinette. Great job.
Chat noir said:"Y-You know what m'lady? I think you can breathe in space...because unlike me, you don't seem to be gaving any trouble at breathing."
Ladybug shook her head and said:"I-I don't care." She placed a hand on his back and the other one on his waist as she helped him sit up. His head fell on his shoulder limply, feeling every last bit of energy drain from his body with every breath he took. He knew it wasn't the effect of her power. The hit had just made breathing a little hard.
"Are you okay?" She said as she shook him gently by the shoulders.
"Not really." He said and blinked his eyes again, vision blurry and starting to fade away. Ughh no no no! I can't get knocked out again!
Her eyes widened when he slowly moved himself forward, placing his head on her lap. Her cheeks went beet red as he nuzzled his cheek against it.
She shook her head and snapped out of it and grabbed the sides of his head and brushed her thumb over his cheek, making his heart flutter at the gentle touch of her fingers. "Gosh, why are you so pale?"she said and he closed his eyes, his hand gently resting on his belly. A little nap wouldn't hurt. I'm tired.
Her eyes widened. He should stay awake! He's not feeling very well! It might get dangerous if he sleeps...He might not wake up again.
She gritted her teeth and tightened her grip on his hair, fingers running across his sculp. "No! Don't close your eyes, Chat noir! You'll pass out and then...you might have trouble...waking...up...and..."
Her voice trailed off when soft purrs escaped his mouth. His lips parted and the sound grew more, making her cheeks flush. So cute.
She looked down at her hands in his hair and understood why he was purring. Her fingers were against his cat ears snd tangled in his hair, brushing over his sculp. The cat ears were twitching gently under her touch. He had his eyes closed, enjoying her actions in pure bliss.
She couldn't help but keep running her hand through his hair. He said:"...Yeah right there...A little bit to the right...There ya go..."
His eyes locked with hers for a split second before starting to flutter close. "Got to...stay...awa..." He mumbled, but couldn't finish when he passed out.
"No!" She said, but no use. She sighed and wrapped her arms around his neck as she leaned down, hugging his around his neck as she pulled him to her chest.
She didn't notice a tear rolling down as she sniffled. She kept hugging him, not letting go. After a few minutes, her transformation wore off and Tikki floated beside her, looking down at Chat noir with a worried expression.
"Are you okay Marinette?" She asked and Marinette sniffled once again before leaning back up, before leaning down once again, presing her ear against his chest where his heart was.
Thump Thump...Thump Thump...Thump Thump...
The sound of his heartbeat was enough to make her sigh in relief as she relaxed against his chest, head still over it as her hands hugged his torso gently. But something worried her.
His slow heartbeat.
She wiped her nose and looked at the kwami with puffy red eyes after she pulled away. Tikki was still covered in blue sparkles, a star on her forehead. Marinette looked at Chat noir with sad eyes.
"Oh my god Tikki...He's g-getting more pale second by second..." Tikki sighed and Marinette felt panic taking over her.
"D-Do you think he's going to die?!"
"W-What?! No way! Don't be stupid, Marinette! He's...He's stronger than that."
"But he looks like he's going to d-"
"He won't if you figure something out and help him! Do something!"
"I CAN'T!"
Marinette screamed, making Tikki frown and float back a little as hot tears rolled down her cheeks, face red from anger.
Her eyes were full of anger. Rage. Worry. Regret. And mostly, sadness.
Marinette gasped softly and said:"Tikki...I'm so sorry...I really didn't mean what I s-said..." "It's okay Mari. Just think."
Marinette looked around, looking for ideas. It seemed like hours as she looked at everything. The earth, the bubble, and the stuff inside. In the end, her eyes landed on Chat's limp body.
She looked down before laying down and putting her head over his chest, fingers digging into the black leather as she cried. It seemed like his faint heartbeat was echoing in her ears as the realization hit her.
There was nothing she could do.
Nothing.
...
Not unless a miracle happened.
A few hours later...
Marinette's eyes shot wide open and she gasped for air as she woke up. She sat up. Her whole body was covered in sweat, and her cheeks were stained with tears. She felt like something was happening...
She looked over at Chat noir. He didn't look like he had waken up when she was sleep.
"Chat noir?" She called, voice cracking in the end as tears formed in her eyes again.
She didn't remember crying more than this in her whole life. She had cried a lot since they got stuck.
When he didn't answer, she sniffed and put her ear against his chest once again, hearing the faint heartbeat.
Tikki said:"Marinette, please calm down." Marinette wanted to say something back, but knowing she might say something she regrets later, she kept her mouth shut, leaned back and wiped her tears away. Calm down. He's still alive.
"Tikki, I feel like something's up...Maybe related to Hawkmoth...Or akumas...I don't know...I feel like something's up with Bubbler...Do you think it may be because of my Ladybug sense?"
Marinette searched her kwami's expression for an answer, but she was still thinking. "Maybe. Do you think he has transformed back or something?" She suggested, making Marinette's eyes go wide.
"But-But-But I...W-What about the akuma?! I'm not there to purify it!" She exclaimed, clenching her hands in fists.
She gasped softly and continued:"Who did defeat him and get the akuma?" She looked down in worry and said:"I hope Nino is okay..."
Tikki shrugged her small shoulders and said:"I don' t know Marinette...But you might have a chance of saving yourselves this way." Marinette's eyes went wide.
Tikki didn't have to explain. She already knew what she meant.
"Spots on!" She said and transformed. She looked at her wand, and then at Chat.
"Bingo!"
She looked at her wand once again before making a small blue bubble with it. She grabbed the bubble in her hands and then brought it above her head before taking in a breath. I first have to test it on myself.
Suddenly she brought the bubble down to her head with a strong force as she closed her eyes. There can be anything inside this bubble...
She was ready to feel the pain, but to her surprize, her head went through the bubble so her head was inside. Luckily, there was oxygen inside the bubble.
She breathed in and out and closed her eyes in content of the sweet oxygen. She might have been able to breathe in the space, but she felt way better with oxygen. Carbon dioxide just wasn't her thing.
I would have used this power sooner if I knew it provides oxygen.
She felt like home. The air that went in and out of her lungs reminded her of where she belonged to. She wanted to be back. Back to home. Back to earth.
Chat noir suddenly came up in her mind, and she was snapped out of her thoughts when remembered she had to help him. Now that she knew the bubble had oxygen inside it, she didn't have to worry. It was safe for him.
With the help of her bubble-mind-controlling power, she made the bubble on her head burst as she tried to make another one with her wand. A small bubble formed and grew big. Big enough to have a human's head fit inside.
She crawled towards him and put the bubble down as she smiled at him sadly for a second. She starred at his face for god knew how long, her eyes darting from his closed eyes to his hair. She shook her head, snapping back to reality.
She gently snaked her arms around his neck and put one hand against it, bringing his head up. She leaned down and gently pressed her lips against the corner of his mouth, the tear she didn't know was formed in her eye falling down on his cheek, rolling down.
She bubble on his head and to her luck, his head went through it too, like hers did.
She walked away from him and looked at the objects piled up on eachother. A blanket, a duct tape, about seven water bottles and a pillow. She smiled weakly as she was reminded the first day they got stuck. She giggled to her self as she remembered their late night cuddles.
She picked up all of the objects in her arms, but the bottles rolled out of her hands and fell down. She sighed and picked them up again and looked down at them. They were all lucky charms her yoyo had provided before. It got to work.
I hope my plan works. This is our last chance. We either die here in the middle of the space and near the sun, or we go back to earth safe and sound.
With that, she threw all of the objects as high as she could, hoping they didn't hit the upper side of the bubble as adrenaline pumped through her veins.
"Miraculous Ladybug!"
She exclaimed and to her surprize, all the objects disapeared.
But no little ladybugs were in sight.
Her heart skipped a beat when nothing happened. She ran towards the side of the bubble and leaned against it, looking at the earth. Her nose was pressed against it and her hot breath was making mist on it.
She kept looking and looking. Maybe the ladybugs are fixing the dameges back there at earth! But they've got to fix this too!
Seconds passed, but nothing happened.
She closed her eyes and leaned her forehead against the surface, all the sudden hope fading away. But then, her eyes shot wide open when she heard a sound from far away.
It was like a buzzing sound coming from a bug.
Correction, not a bug. But thousands of them.
She gasped as a huge wave of blue ladybugs came flying in the space, coming directly from the earth, probably from where Paris was. However, he wondered why the bubbles had to fix the damage at Paris first while she was right here!
She watched in amazement as the ladybugs engulfed the bubble in blue sparkles. She closed her eyes. She wanted to cry out of joy.
Her eyes closed involuntarily and for seconds, she forgot about everything. Within seconds, she was going back home. She would open her eyes and find herself on the solid ground and feel the earth under her feet, see the trees and how green their leaves looked like, see her friends and family and give them all a tight hug and also tell Chat noir how she truely felt about him after the long journey with him.
But no. That wouldn't happen.
Her thoughts were crashed together when she felt like air was knocked out of her lungs as a strong force pulled her down. She opened her mouth and screamed, not daring to open her eyes. She knew what it was. The ladybugs didn't bring them back to earth. Only made the bubble around them disapear. But why?! They always brought us back to where we were before!
She kept screaming in fear. She wished Chat noir was awake. She knew if he was, he wouldn't act like the coward she was. He would act bold and brave. Even if he knew they were going to die, he would try his best in saving them both, no matter what.
She dared to open her eyes after she realized what she had thought.
Chat noir.
She instantly grabbed her wand and her yoyo and looked down at the sight inront of her in awe. It was horrific. The sun couldn't look anymore scary from where she was. It was so big and red. So hot and frightening. Nothing like the small yellow circle of light she saw in the sky back at earth.
She tapped the diffrent bottons and did whatever she could with the wand, but it didn't work. Damn it! This wand is useless! She had no other way.
"CHAT NOIR! WAKE UP!"
Nope. Nothing happened. He was knocked out for good.
I guess I'll just stick to my good old yoyo.
She grabbed her yoyo and throw it towards him. He was way far away from her since he was knocked out. At least she was struggling against the strong force of gravity. I think I can fly in space...Wow.
The yoyo wrapped around his waist as she growled, trying to pull him up. The gravity was so strong for her to do that.
However, she still held on to the string. She wrapped the string around her hands a few times for more effect before pulling him up once again.
His body crashed into hers and her arms wrapped around his torso, holding him against her. She forgot everything for a moment when a memory came into her mind out of no where.
Flashback
"Jump, Adrien! Quick!" Ladybug yelled to Adrien as he starred down at the ground in awe. "You have to trust me!"
"Always."
He jumped off the building and she looked at him as he fell down.
"YEAHAHA!
She was about to jump down to go and save him, but a giant hand wrapped around her body, not letting her move an inch. "No!"
She looked down at him in horror and squirmed in the grip of Gorizilla, not being able to free herself. Her heart was beating madly against her chest.
She closed her eyes. She had never felt this useless in her whole life. She never had felt this weak. She couldn't do anything with him. Without Chat noir. He was her partner after all, and in her whole life, she hadn't ever felt in need of him this much.
"Chat Noir! Help!"
Suddenly, Gorizilla dropped her.
She gasped for air and grabbed her yoyo tightly in her hands before throwing it at him, the string wrapping around his waist as she pulled him up to her, embracing him tightly as she starred at him, him starring back.
The crowd cheered for them as they landed on the ground a few seconds later.
"I just knew I could count on you, M'Lad- Uh, Ladybug!"
End of flashback
Timeskip to a few hours later
She couldn't feel her arms anymore.
It had been an hour, maybe even hours since she had freed them. He was still in her grip, her small arms wrapped around his body as she pulled him along with her. She didn't care where they were going. She just wanted to get away from the sun.
Every muscle in her body was aching and she felt like all bones were broken. It was surprizing for her to know that she was able to balance herself even with the loss of gravity in midair.
"Chat?" She called out, looking down at him. "Chat...Wake up...Please." Her arms were still around his torso as she shook him gently. But he wasn't waking up.
She looked back at the sun and realized how far they were from it now. Plus, she couldn't feel it's strong gravity anymore.
She took in a deep breath and grabbed her wand and looked at it. She tried to use her power to make another bubble for them with a lot of oxygen inside, just like before. A smakl bubble popped out of the wand and she looked at it as it grew bigger as she pleased.
She remembered how her head had gone easily through the bubble. I wonder if our bodies can go through it too or not...
She flew towards the bubble and went through it, pulling him along. Then she looked around and of course, they were inside a bubble again. With the diffrence that she could get them out of there whenever she wanted to.
She gently put him down and looked at his face once again. She made the bubble that was around his head burst. Her heart stung at the sight of him. However, he had gotten a lot more better than the time he had passed out. It was probably from the oxygen he had breathed in in that small bubble on his head.
She instantly crawled towards him and groaned in worry. This was getting serious. He was knocked out for over 12 hours now. Anything could have happened, right?
She grabbed his shoulders once again as she hovered above hus head, fade expressionless, but pained. "Chat noir. Open your damn eyes right now. I've had enough of this."
She couldn't keep the stern face on for too long though. A loud cry escaped her mouth as she started sobbing, her fingers trembling as she clutched the leather that covered his shoulders in her hands.
"Did you hear me?! Open your eyes!" She exclaimed, shaking him again, but this time violently.
"Don't die now...P-Please don't..." she mumbled as she sobbed hard. She knew that if Tikki was here, she would tell her to look on the bright side that his heartbeat was faster now and that colour was slowly returning to his skin. But she just...couldn't.
One of her hands trailed up his shoulder to his neck and she brushed her fingers over his jawline as the other one grabbed his gloved hand in her own, giving it a weak squeeze.
She couldn't stop her tears. He was one of the closest people to her anyway. He was the one she had crash landed into at the first day they met. He was the one who always took hits for her when they were fighting akumas. He was the one she trusted with her life. The one who confessed his love to him and gave her a rose.
The one who was now laying there infront of her, stuck in a bubble with her in the middle of the space.
She hiccuped and said:"J-Just open your eyes. That's all I ask for..."
She sniffed and was about to pull back when she felt something that made her freeze, her heart skipping a beat.
He squeezed her hand back.
She looked at him with wide eyes, blinking repeatedly to make the tears go away. Her eyes were locking on his closed ones as he groaned softly, rubbing the other hand that wasn't in hers over his forehead.
She didn't make any sound as he still kept his eyes closed. Just starred at him. She couldn't believe he had waken up.
He seemed hazy, because it seemed like he still hadn't realized that she was looking down at him, one of her hands next to his head and the other holding his, faces inches apart. That's why when he opened his eyes, he was shocked.
His eyes locked with hers as he looked up at her in shock. A pink tint covered his cheeks at the small gap between them. If she leaned down just the tiniest bit...
She was a loss for words. She couldn't speak. So she did the only thing that came to her mind.
The courage of the Ladybug side of her kicked in and before she could stop herself, the hand next to his head cupped his cheek as she leaned down and pressed her lips against his.
He let out a muffled sound out of surprize, eyes going wide. He didn't know what to do. Of course, this was what he always wanted, but he was just too shocked.
She could feel his eyelashes flutter against her cheekbone as he closed his eyes, his free hand moving up her shoulder and to the nape of her neck to pull her in closer, deepening the kiss.
She knew very well that now was the time to pull away and apologize awkwardly, but the fact that she had almost lost him wasn't helping either, making her continue, actions not following the rational part of her brain as her hands tangled in his hair, gently tugging at it.
His hand moved to her waist as hers traveled down his hair to brush over his lean arms, holding onto them. The kiss was full of love and passion and she felt her face getting hot.
Slowly, he pulled back from her lips with half closed eyelids, his whole face red and lips slightly bruised. She guessed she wasn't any better from him.
She looked down at him again. Suddenly, their eyes went wide as she realized what she did.
She quickly leaned back up, face getting even more red than it already was. Her hand covered her mouth as she watched him sit up, eyes wide and still in a daze from the kiss.
What have I done?!
Her hands went to her head as she pulled on her hair. no no no no no no no no no no no n-
"M-M-M'lady...? Y-You okay...?" He asked as he looked at her. When she turned to face him and his eyes locked with hers, his cheeks wen red again. She gulped and broke the eye contact as she turned away, her back facing him.
"L-Lucky charm!" She yelled and throw her now blue yoyo in the air. A blanket and a pillow, very similar to the red ones before, fell down. Just what I need.
She grabbed the objects in midair and looked down at them as Chat watched her, biting his lip, to the point he tasted blood on his tongue. Is this a dream?
She turned his direction and he said:"M'lady I wa-" he was interrupted by the pillow hitting him in the face as she threw it to him with full force.
He fell on his back and then removed the pillow only to see her sigh. "Spots off."
Blue light emitted from her figure as she transformed back into Marinette. Without saying a word, she crawled under the blanket, covering herself completely, even her head.
He gulped and put the pillow down before awkwardly scooting closer to her, sliding under the blanket with her and putting his head on the left side of the pillow as she put hers on the right side of it.
There was an awkward silence between them, and she still hadn't gotten the rid of her blush. Their backs were pressed against eachother as they were laying down, neither of them wanting to face eachother.
"Goodnight P-Princess..."
"Night."
Tikki looked down at them and giggled to herself. About time.
